Lost and found

Paul was sitting down on the couch waiting for Fluttershy to get ready

"you know what Paul? Maybe you should go on without me because I'm going to be at least another half hour" Paul stood up

"are you sure?"

"Ya go ahead and tell twilight that I'll be there soon" Paul opened the door and looked back at Fluttershy

"ok see you there" when he was outside it was nice and warm, pretty hot actually but it's a good thing they would be inside because if he had to stay outside in that heat all day it would feel nice at first but give it about two hours and he would be making excuses to get back inside.

At the castle apple jack and twilight were having a talk meanwhile Rick, Gavin,and rainbow dash were doing the same.

"So why were you in such a rush to catch up to Rick when you left the bar last night?" Apple jack asked with a smile on her face twilight took a moment to answer the question

"I wanted to talk to some pony while i walked home." Apple Jacks smile grew bigger

"do ya like him?" Twilight took even longer to answer that question then she said

"he's kind of cute" they both laughed at what she had just said but that's when Paul walked in the room

"hey twilight happy birthday" twilight looked up

"hey Paul where's Fluttershy?"

"She'll be here she was just getting ready." Apple jack spoke up

"well we're just chatten so sit were ever ya want to sit" Paul nodded

"alright" of course he sat next to Rick and Gavin.

After a while Fluttershy showed up and everyone talked until at one point twilight had to go to the bathroom so she did just that after she went she ran into shining armor and princess Kaiden's

"oh my gosh I didn't know you guys were going to be here" shining armor smiled as he hugged his sister

"of course how could I forget my own sisters birthday I thought I'd surprise you we already said hi to everyone else but I didn't see pinkie were is she?" As if on cue the telephone rang in the other room Gavin got that feeling again and it was a bad one so he picked up the phone first

"hello?" On the other end of the phone was the doctor at the hospital he told Gavin that pinkie was not doing well at all and maybe they'd want to come down to the hospital and have there goodbyes" Gavin knew what was coming but it still hurt to hear the truth

"we'll be right down"he told him as he hung up the phone.

"who was it?" Twilight asked as she came into the room everyone waited for an answer

"that was the doctor at the hospital they said that... Pinkie wasn't doing well at all she's gotten worse and it would be best if we go say our good byes." That's when the room fell silent and nobody had to look at anyone else to know that tears were falling. the doctor said they were going to go to the hospital and that's just what they were going to do.

The hospital seemed dark and sad nobody wanted this to happen but maybe there was hope after all the doctor said she might pull threw although the chances were very slim. They were in the room with pinkie it was silent until Rick spoke up

"maybe we should say our goodbyes by our selves"

"ya " twilight said tears in her eyes. After everyone left it was just her and twilight

"well pinkie... I never thought it would end this way... The doctor says you could pull through you know... Come on pinkie please for me..." Twilight started crying "for us... And if you don't pull threw... Then we'll miss you... We'll miss you pinkie" twilight sobbed and then slowly walked out of the room. Rick was up next he slowly walked over to pinkie and sat down

"hey pinkie I told you I would come back and visit. I didn't know you long but for the time I did..." Rick didn't know what to say until he thought of something "come on pinkie I know you can pull threw you've survived worse than this you... You..." Rick was speechless again "where's the awesome crazy pony I know? I know she's in there please pinkie just please... Come back to us."

Rick passed rarity on the way out who already had streams of tears running down her face in the waiting room Rick saw shining armor trying to calm twilight but she shoved him off and ran into the other room so he decided to follow her and try to calm her. When he got in there she was looking down at the floor crying the room was empty, only a bed in the middle Rick walked up to twilight

"twilight?" Rick called her she turned around to see him

"oh Rick hey sorry I just can't believe this is happening" twilight said as she walked Over to him he hugged her

"it's all right twi it's all right" she started crying again

"no it's not"we're all going to miss her twi but she'll pull threw I know it now come on... Your to pretty to be crying like that." Twilight looked up at him and gave a small smile then she went to walk away but tripped and fell Rick caught her and they stared into each other's eyes for a few moments until twilight slowly lifted her head to his and they kissed all while shining armor was watching he had came to comfort twilight but Rick already had that covered apparently after a few moments Rick broke the kiss

"better now?" Rick asked. twilight didn't respond "pinkie will be fine twi I promise."

Gavin was in the waiting room doing what everyone else was doing waiting to say there goodbyes that's when Rick came up and sat next to him.

"Crazy huh?" Rick said

"ya I would have thought that they would have saved her" Rick paused

"I think they will... Where's Paul?"

"Saying his goodbyes" Rick thought for a moment

"hey Gavin I need to tell you something "

"what?" Rick didn't know how to tell him about what had just gone on a few moments ago so he had to excuse himself.

"You know what Gavin I'm going to grab a soda or something you want anything?" Gavin shook his head

"nah I'm good" ok " Rick said as he left to get a soda maybe a coke.

It was lonely at this part of the hospital no one was around but Rick found the soda machines. I don't even want anything he thought. How was he going to tell Gavin about him and twilight? Or perhaps even Paul then Rick felt horrible they were there to say goodbye to pinkie and he was worried about that. He thought he should just head back to the waiting room and just stay seated so he did just that. As he was walking he couldn't help but notice how quiet it was until he turned the corner to have someone grab him by the shoulder and pull him into what looked like a hug except for the large blade cutting into ricks stomach and having the blood poring on to the floor once the knife was in. he pulled him closer into it. all Rick could do was let out a small yell that wasn't heard for very far. All of it happened so fast until Rick blacked out from blood loss the knife still were it was stabbed into him.
