Custers Second to Last Stand
Chapter 2:A new world
Previous ChapterNext ChapterCuster was lying on the ground, same position as he had been when he was shot. Custer began to regain conscious, he noticed something different, he was no longer in pain. The piercing of the arrow had all but disappeared,There was something else different too,He was in a grass field with a slight breeze blowing over him. Also there was no more sounds,It....It was peaceful. There were no U.S soldiers, no Sioux warriors, no guns,no arrows,no death. Custer knew he was no longer in Montana,But where in the heck could he be?
There was only one thing to do in a situation like this, explore. So Custer managed to finally get up on his feet,He.......he felt fine,No he felt better then he did before. It felt as though he had never got shot with an arrow. He began to look around now,he first looked at his chest. No wound what so ever. What was this? Maybe he survived the battle but the Sioux took him and drugged him,or maybe some Canadians from up north came and took him.
Custer then out of the corner of his eye noticed his belongings on the ground. His sword, his revolver, and his hat. He picked up his hat and put it on his head, for his revolver,he carefully placed it in its holster,He then stuck the sword through his belt. Custer was ready to go!
Custer began to walk,he found a path and began to follow it. This was proof he was in a civilized area not some savage barbaric land.So Custer began walking,It must have been six miles before he decided to take a rest. He sat down and took in a few deep breathes.
He then heard a noise off in the distance, it was faint, but could still be heard. The noise became louder, somehow Custer knew he heard these sounds before. He then recognized the sound, Hoof-steps! Custer thought to himself "If there's horses and trails, there must be people". So Custer decided to follow the sounds.
As Custer neared closer to the sound he could hear voices. Custer was beginning to become more positive, Sure he had no idea where he was or how he survived Little Big Horn, But at least he could talk to people and get some answers. He eventually reached the voices,The hoof-steps also stopped. Custer then noticed a large tree fort in front of him. "Damn they must keep their horses up there, very different to America" thought Custer to himself. The voices then continued in the tree fort. Custer then took in a breathe, fiddled with his mustache, made sure his uniform was straight, and finally adjusted his hat. Whoever these new people were he had to look formal.
Custer then began slowly heading up the stairs. They creaked a lot each time he stepped on them, He noticed each time he got farther up the voiced would become quieter. Eventually the voices just stopped,So did Custer.
"Hey!!" said a younger females voice "Who's out there?"
Custer began speaking and walking up the stairs "Hello there, My name is George Armstrong Custer, I am a Lt Colonel in the U.S army,I lead the 7th Calvary regiment and I was wondering if you could help............".
Custer was stopped dead silent, In front of him was a group of young horses, no scratch that ponies. One had green eyes and a rainbow mane, she also had wings.Another one had a horn, a styled purple mane and had blue eyes. There were 3 more that looked exactly the same, but were different colors.
"What in the name of Manifest Destiny!! When did horses have extra parts and more importantly WHEN COULD HORSES TALK?!"
The blue one then replied "Actually sir, were ponies". Custer then lost all consciousness and fell down the steps.
His last conscious thought "What the hell is this place? And whats going on?"
