Investigation

Twilight was walking through her castle as it was morning time, she had just finished breakfast and she was going to wait around until the map called her or her friends to go solve a problem somewhere in Equestria, she hoped that it wasn't immediately as she had just woken up a few minutes ago.

While she was walking through the hallway Spike entered the hall on the other side and walked up to her, Twilight was glad to see that her assistant was awake so she could see what she needed to do.

"Twilight we got a package but the sender didn't put a address on it that says where it's from it just has the the address of this place written on it and that's why it was sent here, I asked Derpy about why it's like this and she just shrugged and she said that she had nothing to do with why the package was like this." Spike said as he ran up to her he stopped and handed her he package.

Twilight took the package and checked the outside, she saw that it had a stamp and that it had her address on it and the location of Manehattan but no particular address, it was suspicious as mail requires the specific location of where it's from so she had no idea how it was delivered by Derpy anyway.

"This is a strange package as it doesn't have the location of where it's from, it's illegal to send mail like that. What I don't understand is that derpy delivered it to me instead of taking it back to the post office to be examined since it's breaking the legal standards of mail." Twilight explained.

"Okay...so report it then. That's what your supposed to do with mail that breaks the rules." Spike exclaimed but Twilight didn't listen to him as she needed to see what it was.

Twilight opened it up and started to cough violently, Spike backed up and he started to cough as well while Twilight coughed repeatedly, she couldn't stop coughing she tried to stand up but she became weak. She started to trot away from it quickly.

"Spike it's some sort of poison, quarantine the castle and report it!" Twilight ordered, Spike ran outside while he coughed and sent out a report to Celestia. Guards stationed at Ponyville surrounded the castle. Twilight exited thought the doors and collapsed while she gasped for air.

Twilight was helped to her hooves and was carried to the local hospital, Celestia got the report from an advisor who had received the mail in her mail room, while she was in a meeting with her advisors. She looked around as they were in deep discussion about upcoming events.

"Not right now okay I have meeting that..." Celestia started to say but the advisor cut her off as he set the report down and spoke to her.

"There's been an incident at Princess's Twilight's place, last thing I heard it was some sort of harmful mail that caused a security breach but that's all I know, Twilight has already ordered a quarantine." The guard said, Celestia looked around at her advisors and spoke.

"I have to cancel the meeting, there is an emergency...um we can finish this talk tomorrow." Celestia stated, her advisors left her room and she went to get an update on what was happening. She arrived at Twilight's castle and could see Spike being loaded onto a stretcher outside while doctors were already taking her blood pressure, Celestia shoved past the other ponies.

"What happened over here? A security breach? Where's Twilight? Can somepony tell me something?" Celestia complained. One of the local guards stationed in Equestria walked up to her. Spike was soon carried to the hopital after his lungs were cleared out

"Spike said it was some sort of gas that entered by mail, we can't go in because we can be exposed to it." The guard said.

"Gas? What type? Get a breathing apparatus and test the area I'm going over to see Spike and Twilight. Also please evacuate the area after the news ponies get the reports of what's happening, the only ponies that can be here are guards and two news ponies other than that this place needs to get cleared immediately." Celestia said

"Yes your highness." The guard said, they told the citizens to clear out of the area and they tested the atmosphere, it was reported to be Sarin, the most deadliest gas in Equestria, Celestia ordered an investigation into the incident and told the doctors that were treating twilight that it was sarin gas so they administered the antidote to her. They also administered the antidote to Spike. They were lucky that the doctors had given Spike and Twilight antidotes under ten minutes or they would have been dead. Twilight and Spike were very lucky.

It was declared that Twilight was stable so Celestia went to visit her, Twilight could only speak for a little bit so Celestia told her that she hoped that she could recover, she couldn't tell Twilight who did it as she had no idea but she did tell her what type of gas it was. Celestia asked her when she first felt the affects of the gas.

"Celestia I was checking my schedule and then I just collapsed, I had no idea somepony would try to harm me or Spike, I don't care what you have to do but please find the terrible pony that did this to me." Twilight wheezed, Celestia promised that that she would.

While Twilight was in the hospital Celestia ordered an investigation into the gas attack as she was determined to find out whoever did this and arrest them, Twilight was visited by her friends at the hospital and over the coarse of a week Twilight recovered. Twilight's castle received extra security as Celestia sent over fifty guards to guard Twilight in her castle, they also checked mail that came to the castle. Twilight heard about the investigation and she said that once she got out of the hospital she was going to help find out who sent her the package

They reported everything about what was happening but then for the rest of the week there were no new updates on the incident, Celestia told Equestria that the media will update ponies when the Royal guard and investigators find out anything in the investigation into the attack. They hoped that another attack won't happen again as they prepared to find out who would do such a thing.
