Author's Note

Author's Note at the top instead of the bottom? Insanity!

But anyway, this is going to be a recurring series of chapters containing small snippets of how other BlazBlue characters in Equestria might turn out. This will not be the only one of these, and the basic idea behind the timing is just 'whenever the plot has hit a point where a break could be good' or 'if I get a little bored and want to write a bunch of nonsense'.

Most of them will focus mainly on comedy, but there might be ones with some different tones if I feel like doing so.

EDIT because I deleted this segment and apparently am retarded: These shorts do not necessarily take place in the YHAY-Verse, meaning that most of the characters will be able to talk and act normally unless otherwise stated

I hope it goes down well, because I had a lot of fun thinking up and writing some of these.

Oh and if it wasn't obvious, i'm also not intending to apply my 2k word minimum to these chapters either as they're just a bit of fun.

SCIENCE!
"What're you waitin' out here for, Pinkie?"

The mare in question turned her head, smiling at her friend before waving a hoof in the direction of the door she had been looking at. "Ooh, perfect timing! You're just in time to see Twilight's new friend do some science!"

Rainbow Dash tilted her head to the side, and could faintly hear the sounds of power tools from inside the room. Before she really knew it, she too had plopped herself down to wait for whatever was about to happen. If it was anything like what they'd seen previously, it would be worth the time.

It had been a few weeks since the weird Human had arrived in Equestria, and from the get-go things had immediately become strange. She didn't appear to be a friendly person at first. Or at all, really, but after striking up a conversation with Twilight about the many benefits of science over magic, they had sequestered away in a room for many hours. When they emerged, Twilight had been quite literally seen with sparkles in her eye and a notebook in her magic, with hundreds of slips of paper sticking out from the side. Without any question, the woman had been given a room to sleep in and a room to run experiments in. The next time they'd checked in on her, she had broken down the wall between the two areas and fused them into one.

Incidentally, the cat person had been heard mumbling 'sleep is for the weak' to herself like some sort of mantra the day after. Something about not having lollipops or whatever. Pinkie had been supply her with a whole basket's worth after hearing of this, and she had accepted them with a muttered 'thanks', which was surprising to most given how previously the woman seemed to hold extraordinary disdain for the overexcited party mare. The problem had apparently solved itself.

Rainbow spared a glance at her friend, who seemed to be vibrating rather than just bouncing up and down in excitement. "So what kinda science-y stuff is she doing?"

She received a wide grin in return, and the Pegasus knew she would be better off plugging her ears for the next five minutes. Against her better judgement, however, she really wanted to know what was happening.

"Well y'know how Coco didn't really like me at first but then started liking me a little bit once I gave her those lollipops?" Pinkie Pie began, and then promptly cut off her friend's attempted agreement by continuing, "So then I thought 'Wowie, she really likes sweets!' So obviously we should be best friends and so today I followed her around with a buncha candy but she didn't really seem interested, like she got that weird look in her eye and it was twitching loads, and she really has serious bags under her eyes but that's not important."

"Pinkie I think she miiiight'a wanted you to leave her alone..."

"Pssh! Naw~" The pink mare waved a hoof dismissively. "Anyway that's not important. So then she turned around and was like 'What the hay, uh, hell do you want?' and so I told her I wanted to help out with some science and that look in her eye turned into another look, like the ones Twilight gets whenever she's about to totally thrash someone in chess and then she went into this room and told me to wait here, which i'm doing!"

A pit of uneasiness opened in Rainbow Dash's gut. That exchange did not sound like a generally friendly one, and in her experience scientist-types got really vindictive whenever you annoyed them. The amount of times she'd been teleported in front of a tree mid-flight during particularly grueling flying lessons with Twilight could attest to that.

As if summoned by the appearance of fear, the doors swung open to reveal the cat-eared woman in a strange white ensemble and red trousers that left her stomach exposed. She held in her hand some weird water-pistol looking thing with a bright yellow nozzle and a vial of blue liquid jutting from the back. More suspiciously, however, was the fact that it was pointed directly at Pinkie Pie.

"Absolute Zero test #1!" Kokonoe Mercury half-yelled, a manic gleam in her eye as she slammed her index finger down on the trigger. An odd blue-and-white mist blasted from the silly looking nozzle, completely enveloping the form of the party mare. Rainbow Dash only just had time to leap back with a yelp of surprise as this happened.

When the sparkling haze vanished, Rainbow saw a disproportionately large chunk of ice, and clearly encased within was Pinkie Pie herself, still grinning wildly. A cold fog rose from the solid block

Kokonoe spun the device around one finger, tossing it casually back into the room. Whatever it crashed into, the woman didn't seem to mind. "That's for getting on my nerves, you peppy little shit!" she growled, before trailing off into a yawn that revealed some teeth that looked much too sharp.

As the scientist made to turn around, she idly brushed a long strand of her hair over her shoulder. Pausing, she fixed a weary eye on the stunned Pegasus. "She'll be out in like... Two, maybe three hours?" Kokonoe shrugged, "Dunno, don't care."

The door swung shut with a resounding clang, and within moments the sound of drills could be heard once more, leaving Rainbow Dash alone with her frozen, still uncannily smiling friend.

The Power of Order: Retconning people from life since 2008

"Eugh. Gag! Fine, go ahead. Try and use your little 'Elements', Frenemies. Just make it quick." The chaotic amalgamation of creatures groaned as a white flash of light consumed his body, teleporting him on top of his black throne perched atop a checkerboard hill.

Twilight fixed the creature with a glare. Discord. The Spirit of Chaos itself. Not satisfied with turning her friends into dark, twisted versions of themselves, he'd also run rampant throughout the town she now called home. Mounds formed from nothing, animals with obscenely stretched limbs running about scared out of their wits, not that anypony could blame them, given that most Ponies in town were also either hiding or sprinting about the place. Luckily, they had a plan.

The Draconequus stared at the strangely silent group of Ponies and quirked an eyebrow, which then proceeded to grow a mouth at one end and then curl around in a circle, eating itself. The fact that they weren't lecturing him about friendship was an immediate red flag. The good old 'vanquishing evil' monologue was a classic! And to not perform it just before he crushed their hopes once more was... Probably heresy, in some parts of the world!

"Well, aren't you going to show me the power of the Azure? Or Friendship, or Geass, or Stand power? Really, you heroes have too many power-gimmicks to keep up with these days." Discord mused, crossing one leg over the over as a mole flew over the gathering, straight into a blue tree.

"None of those things are required to vanquish you, creature of Chaos." A cold voice spoke up from behind the throne.

Discord hummed in glee, eager to see just who the silly Ponies had brought in to defeat him. He smacked the back of his own head, popping both eyes out of their sockets and catching them in his other hand. Almost daintily, he lifted the orbs above the seat of his throne. And then he froze.

Standing at the base of the hill was a figure. A figure that did not resemble a Pony in any way, shape, or form. Clad in pure white and black, the form was tall and intimidating, especially as a large mass of silvery hair danced in the breeze that shouldn't have existed in Discord's world of chaos. Because it wasn't his anymore. Around the creature's boots, and expanding, was a patch of... Grass, and dirt. The world was fixing itself just because of the new arrival's mere presence.

That wasn't the worst of it. Discord would be willing to bet that he was one of the only beings who could possibly see it, but it was still there: surrounding the creature, practically oozing from every part of its being like an aura extending metres from the body. Harmony. Order. The very forces that the Draconequus opposed with quite literally every fibre of his being, and this creature reveled in it, was actually clothed in it.

Then it reached over its back, grasping a cylinder wrapped in black material, a blue gem resting on the top. Except Discord was quick to realise that it was no simple implement. Of course, that became rapidly obvious as the creature pulled a sword as tall as itself in front of it, wreathed in a platinum glow just like the rest of the being. The aura practically dripped from the blade, and just the simple action of moving it in front of the creature's body sent a wave of the power forward, colliding with the side of the unnatural hill. Just like that, the mound shrank rapidly, leaving the black throne hovering in the air as Discord clung to it for dear life, his legs hanging off the edge.

"What's the matter?" The same ice-cold voice resounded through the air, sending chills down the spirit of Chaos' spine, a feeling that even the Elements of Harmony at full power could not instill within him, "Your feet are trembling..."

Discord was, to put it simply, afraid. That alone surprised him, but what shocked him more was the ability to find his own voice through the fear. "Who... Who the heck are you supposed to be? WHAT the heck are you!?"

And though nobody could see it through the plain, featureless white mask, Discord could have sworn the creature was smirking.

"I am the white void..." it intoned, clasping his other hand onto the blade's handle. A slight rumble seemed to run through the very ground, the area of purity expanding.

"I am the cold steel..." another rumble, louder, and everybody could feel the ground shake this time.

"I am the just sword..." and again.

"With blade in hand shall I reap the sins of this world, and cleans it in the fires of destruction!" At this, there was no shake of the ground. But instead, a circle of pure, glowing white shone from below the creature's boot. Some invisible force picked up around him, sending his voluminous hair skywards, nine different strands of hair splaying out in the air behind him.

"I AM HAKUMEN! THE END HAS COME!
