Akirie vs Luna! A Dangerous Enemy Arrives!
Previous ChapterAkirie vs Princess Luna! A Dangerous Enemy Arrives!
Akirie yawned as she awoke from her slumber. She got of the floor and stretched, letting out a loud yawn, noticing Suicune sleeping on the other side of the club, and not where he once was. The reasoning wouldn’t come to her until she woke up, but it was most likely due to the fact that she tosses and turns akin to a flailing baby having a nightmare, especially when she was sleeping on a new surface that wasn’t her bed.
Akirie walked over to the window and breathed in a fresh lungful of ashy spring air, taking in the lovely morning in… only to realize she was staring at another “Pegacorn”, this one with a dark shade of blue as her coat and the night sky as her mane.
The two stared for a long moment at one another, until they both spoke out simultaneously.
“Master!” Akirie cried.
“Sister!” The mare shouted before her horn ignited and shot a blue beam into Akirie, which sent her flying backwards and through the Treehouse’s floorboards.
Akirie landed in the grassy field, the mare’s beam sending her skidding through the orchard.
The mare flew to where Akirie was, landing around a hundred meters away from where the human woman was.
“What sort of vile creature destroys a town without provocation!? Thou shalt pay for thine actions, swine!” The mare shouted with the utmost of rage.
“Heh, I was about to tell you the same thing. Stellar man, by the way.” Akirie said as she tightened one of her velvet gloves, her red eyes shining with excitement. “At least I get to use my full power… It’s been years… Persona!”
A blue flame engulfed Akirie, it’s intensity surprising the mare. Though what shocked her more was the fact that it detached from Akirie to form its own entity, a giant human-shaped male nearly twice Akirie’s height, with a red and black theatre-esque wardrobe, top hat and all. It’s face though, was vastly different from Akirie, as it was black on one side while white on the other, with glowing red eyes and shark toothed mouth.
“I, Arsene, have returned!” He said, his voice distorted.
“What in tartarus is that!?” The mare said, mouth agape.
“He’s my Persona, Arsene… I’ve had his voice in my head since I was a child, till he was locked away.” Akirie said, grinning from ear to ear. “I’ve been bored killing rodents for years. It’s time to step things up. Name?”
The mare narrowed her eyes in a glare. “Excuse me?”
“Your name, dumbass.” Akirie deadpanned. The mare was confused.
“Princess Luna of-” She began, but was cut off by Akirie.
“Joker’s the name, cracking jokes is the game.”
“You are a strange creature, but that shall not save you!” Luna rocketed towards Akirie, only for Arsene to step in front of her and charged at Luna. Taken aback by the straightforward tactic, Luna was unable to stop herself from flying into Arsene’s hands. Literally, as he grabbed onto her horn mid-flight, causing Luna to flip allowing Arsene to smash her head into the ground.
The Princess fired a blue magic ray through Arsene’s hands and into his chest, sending him flying into the air, but Arsense was unphased by this, as he just used his raven black wings to fly.
The Persona’s hands regenerated, “Oh ho, someone’s cranky~ Let’s see if I can’t bring up the mood!” Arsene said as red and black energy exploded from under Luna, sending her off her hooves only for Arsene to come down on her with all of his power, creating a massive explosion.
Meanwhile, Akirie was casually standing around, looking at her watch to pass the time. She then looked at the crater that her Persona left, chuckling. “Looks like I win-” However, she was cut off as she felt something impale itself in her shoulder. Time slowed down as she looked to the cause, and saw a bruised Luna with her horn jammed into Akirie’s shoulder.
Akirie and Luna went flying through apple trees, turning them into splinters until Luna planted her hooves into the ground and let Akirie continue without her, thus her horn and Akirie departed.
Akirie screamed in pain as she hit the dirt, placing a hand on her injury. “You have been beaten. It was inevitable, but if you surrender now, we will spare you.” Luna said as she stood triumphantly.
Until she heard Akirie giggling. Then chuckling. which devolved into mad cackling as she stood up, grinning through the pain. “You remind me of a certain bitch I can’t stand! Wanna know why I named myself after the playing card?” Another blue flame erupted from Akirie, thing one much, much, much bigger. “I always save my trump card for last! Persona!”
The ground beneath them cracked as an enormous metal creature arose from seemingly nowhere.
“Satanael! Cosmic Flare!” Akirie shouted, and Satanael reared up for his attack. Luna quickly shot a green ball of electricity towards Satanael, and the moment it hit Satanael vanished in a flash of fire, returning to Akirie. “H-how…?”
Luna collapsed, panting. “Magic… cancellation… spell…”
“Well then… Guess I’ll have to do it myself. Can’t risk that that spell weakening my Personas permanently.” Akirie pulled out a knife with her good arm and walked towards the barely conscious Luna, but before she could get any closer, a beam of light struck her knife out of her hand and sent her falling to the ground. Her hand burning in pain as tears streamed down her cheeks.
“You will not harm my sister demon! I will ensure your demise myself!” Another tall ‘Pegacorn’ with white fur appeared before Akirie, wielding a large golden sphere. “You have caused enough harm to my little ponies and for that I will send your soul to the pits of Tartarus!”
The white mare declared as she shot another magic bolt. Akirie, unable to move quick enough was hit right in her chest, causing her to back up slightly. Akirie coughed into her hand, which became covered in blood. Looking down, Akirie saw the extent of the damage. The bolt pierced her through her chest, and from what the pain in her back told her, it went right through her. ‘Must’ve grazed a lung or something… Well crap, where’s master when you need him?’
Akirie fell onto her knees, dropped her knife and gun, desperately using what mana she had left to heal her injuries. But the white Alicorn appeared in front of her and stepped over her back with her powerful hooves, shoving Akirie to the ground before levitating her into the air and lunging her to a tree and shattering it to pieces. Despite all her injuries she still tried to stand, but the white alicorn stood over with her horn surrounded by a golden aura.
“This is the end for you creature… May you repent in the bowels of Tartarus.” She said before finally shooting off a massive beam of light as Akirie closed her eyes and braced herself for what is to come, but the attack never came. When she opened her eyes, her master Suicune stood before her with his paw steaming, but had no marks on it.
“I’m so sorry Akirie… I should have been here when you needed me.” Suicune said gently as he lifted her off the ground with his own magic and placed her over his back. “I don’t know you two are… but if you come near my apprentice again… you’ll regret!”
“I can say the same for you demon! You will pay for what you’ve done to my little ponies!” She shouted as she aimed her spear at the pokemon, but was unfazed by her words.
“If you wish to settle this… meet in the center of your town. For now take your comrade and leave.” He suggested before looking at Akirie who rested on his back.
“Very well! I’ll allow this for now, but be aware that your student will suffer the same fate as you!” She replied as she too levitated Luna onto her back. “And just so you know… your student hurt my sister!”
And with those final words the two alicorns vanished in a flash of light, leaving Suicune and Akirie alone. “Akirie are you alright?”
“I-I’m fine… Just wish you’d have gotten here sooner… to see the show.” She chuckled as she leaned her head on his back.
“Again, I am sorry I wasn’t there… I needed to know what was following us and I left leaving a magical projection of myself so you wouldn’t have to worry, but I should have woken you up. But I promise to make it up to you when we get home. Okay?”
Akirie wanted to say something, but with the pain coursing through her, she eventually passed out as her master was left with a frown. “Don’t worry… I’ll heal you once we get somewhere safe.”
The two soon took off into the air once more and flew across the apple orchard until he made his way back into the the tree house and used his magic to repair the damages done to it and carried his apprentice inside and set her gently down against the wall. After that Suicune began to look around the small room, trying to find something for Akirie to use, until he noticed a shelf with a red blanket on top and carried it over to the young girl and placed it over her.
When that was done, Suicune closed his eyes and started to channel energy into his paw and placed it onto her chest and began healing her as he began chanting words in a foreign language. Until she began to groan in pain before opening her eyes and seeing what her master was doing.
“Wicked...” She joked half heartedly.
“Still cracking jokes I see… Anyways, this won’t heal you completely that would require another method of healing, but I find it to be inappropriate, but this spell should be enough for you to start walking again.” Suicune stated as he moved his paw from her chest and gently picked up her burnt arm and began to heal that next, causing Akirie to hiss in pain.
“I can do it the rest of the way.” Akirie replied. “You seriously missed my Personas. They were really something else.”
“I’m sure they were… But right now I need you to rest until your magic fully recovers. Those injuries are a lot worse than you may think. These burnt marks are from solar flares… they aren’t going to heal the same way again.” Suicune mentioned as he turned to his left to reveal the large scar he had received a long time ago. “I’ve received scars the same way and they won’t heal the same way, but I can promise you that you’ll have time to recover… better than I ever have.”
“Yeah, please don’t tell mom about this.”
“I promise I won’t… Mainly because your mother scares me.” Suicune winked at her before placing his paw over her cheek and began to heal the graze she had received from Luna, but she felt a little be shy about it. “Alright that should take care of most of your injuries, but you’ll be sore for awhile, so try to stay out of trouble… the last thing I want is to use… that other method of healing.”
“What’s the other method?”
“You don’t want to know.” He said, trying to hide his blush. “It’s inappropriate.”
“Fine… You’re acting weird, where’s the stern master I know? What’d you do with him- ahaaa!” Akirie winced as she groaned. “I’mma let you go on ahead.”
“If only you actually knew what it was… you’d be embarrassed too, my student. In fact all of the elders know this method, but like I said… too inappropriate.” He said clearing his throat as his blush began to fade. “Anyways you’ll be staying here until I return… Unless you want me to stay to make sure your well?”
“Get outta here… Wherever here is. Where are you going though?” Akirie asked.
“To settle things with that Alicorn that harmed you. She’ll pay dearly for what she did.” He replied. “Are you sure your alright?”
“Yeah, worst injury ever, but it felt therapeutic beating the snot out of that Luna pony.” Akirie said, before sighing. “Personally, I think you should focus on Zamasu.”
“Normally I would, but I think it’s best if you go after him right now.” Suicune replied nonchalantly, almost shocking Akirie.
“M-me?” Akirie asked, eyes wide.
“Zamasu is out there and the last thing we want is for those ponies to get in the way. And you’ve proven that you can handle a difficult opponent. When that mare continued to injure you… You didn’t give up… You continued to get back up. You reminded me of my battles in my youth. Which is why I chose you to be my apprentice… I know you are still hurt, but I’m asking you to rest here for a little while and then go search for that bastard. Something tells me that I won’t be able to join you.” Suicune stated as he felt the Alicorns energy across the small town.
“That-” Akirie began, taking a break from speaking to sniffle and wipe her nose with a sleeve. “Is the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me… I won’t let you down, my liege.”
“There is no need for liege… you’ve earned my respect. So when we are alone… you can just call me Suicune.” He said, winking at her before flying off, but Akirie could have sworn that she saw her master smile for the first time.
“I’m… so… hyped right now…” Akirie whispered to herself.
‘It only took you around a hundred plus years to earn his respect...’ She heard Arsene comment.
“Don’t ruin this for me!” Akirie hissed angrily.
Meanwhile, back at Canterlot, Princess Celestia had arrived to her bed chambers with her little sister Luna on her back, injured from battle. It was unlike anything they have encountered before. Not even Tirek was capable of such magic and it only baffled the Sun Princess even more as she set her sister on her bed.
‘What was that creature… I know I’ve seen it before, but where?’ Celestia thought as she looked back at her sister resting. That other creature was also powerful, but not strong enough to defeat her. ‘Still what is there motive to cause such destruction?’
But she didn’t think too much on it as she began to take off, before taking one final look at her little sister before finally teleporting to the heart of Ponyville where the creature stood with a menacing glare.
“You will pay for what you’ve done… to my student Witch!”
