Laughter's Corruption: An elements of harmony tale

The next morning soon came and with it the continuation of Pinkie Pie's story.

As she walked along the trail heading to Ponyville Pinkie Pie couldn't help, but think back to what had happened over at Fluttershy's cottage. The horrible sight of ponies stacking up along the walls and that creature who treated them as it's chew toy. The thought made her sick to her stomach. Before leaving the cottage Pinkie Pie swore to herself that she's come back and give them a burial, after she found the one's responsible. As she was nearing Ponyville she had came to a stop.

*Sniff*

"What is that smell?" Pinkie Pie said.

Her snout in the air she waved back and forth trying to find the source of the smell. Then suddenly it hit her, the smell was coming from her.

"Wait that's me, I stink." Pinkie Pie said.

Due to her recent encounter with that creature Pinkie Pie didn't notice that the blood that was in the room was getting on her. Sickened by the smell Pinkie Pie looked for a lake to wash the blood away.

"Come on, come on there's got to be a lake somewhere." Pinkie Pie said.

Looking everywhere and in all directions Pinkie Pie couldn't find a lake anywhere. Fearing she'd have to walk around smelling like this Pinkie Pie was becoming desperate. But suddenly she could see something in the distance.

"What is that? It looks like.....a farm!!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

Galloping as fast as she could she headed over to Sweet Apple Acre. But suddenly, just before reaching the white fence Pinkie Pie stop. Not knowing why she tried to move forward, but her legs just wouldn't budge. She could feel the sweat beading down the side of her fore head as her heart was beginning to race. She began to breathe heavy as it finally came to her. She fear of what might lie beyond the fence, that something could go wrong and her life could be in danger.

But this was her friend Applejack's home so why in all of Equastria would she feel scared. She thought back to what happened at Fluttershy's home, how she could have died back there if she hadn't been lucky to spot that light. Who knows how the situation will play out for her this time. She could still feel the pain lurching it's way around her body. And trying to shrug it of isn't going to help for much longer.

"I need to stop being afraid. This is Applejack and her family, they won't hurt me." Pinkie Pie said, trying to reassure herself that everything would be okay.

And so she made her decision.

Sliding through the white fence Pinkie Pie slowly made her way to the house. Upon reaching it she came to a stop, looking around she spotted a window.

"No boards up, so it must be safe." Pinkie Pie said.

Looking through the window she could see the Apple families furniture. The two seated couch, Granny Smith's rocking chair, it all looked the same as before. But where were they? Moving to each and every window Pinkie Pie looked to find that they were missing.

"Maybe they might be in Ponyville. I hope they don't mind if I rinse off." Pinkie Pie said.

Suddenly Pinkie Pie could feel something cold being pressed against the back of her head. Following after that was a familiar voice.

"So ya'h thought you could just sneak in here and do away with us like every pony else huh. Well too bad missy." said the voice. "Now turn around, slowly and you make one bad move and I'll blow you to kingdom come."

Pinkie Pie slowly turned trying not to make a false move. After completely turning her eye's were with joy, but terror the same. As she was face to barrel with a shotgun ready to fire, and Granny was the one holding the trigger. Alongside her were Big Macintosh and Applebloom hiding behind him. Looking at their face's she could tell that they were scared, but of her?

"P-Please don't shoot m-me." Pinkie Pie said.

She could feel her heart racing like a thunderstorm, desperately trying to escape.

"And why in tarnation would I do that? You've been killing off everyone of those innocent pony folk in Ponyville. And you think I'll just lower this here gun so you could do the same to us?" Granny Smith said.

"Because I didn't kill anypony." Pinkie Pie pleaded.

"That's malarkey, you expect me to believe that." Granny Smith said.

"You have to listen to me, I don't know what's going on here. I was at Fluttershy's cottage and I saw these bodies." Pinkie Pie said.

"Yeah the bodies ya'h been stashing so you can feed one of dastardly abominations." Granny Smith said.

Her grip tightened on the gun, she was getting ready to fire and blow Pinkie Pie to pieces. Pinkie Pie had to think of something quick or she could lose her head.

"I am telling you the truth I pinkie promise, I didn't do any of these things you have to believe me." Pinkie Pie said.

"It's a little too late for that, they should have kept you in that wall and should have never let you out." Granny Smith said.

As she was going to pull the trigger Pinkie Pie knew this was the end.

"But wait how could she have gotten out, they seal it off with everypony inside?" Applebloom said.

"Hush now gosh darn it I am going to put an end to all of this." Granny Smith said.

"Wait what wall Applebloom what are you talking about?" Pinkie Pie said.

"After everything went bad Celestia and Luna used their make a wall out of stone and magic to keep all of those bad ponies inside. They even got Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle." Applebloom said.

"Now that's the last I'll hear out of ya'h Applebloom!" Granny Smith began to shout.

"Well there you have it, how can I be out here when this wall was made to keep everypony in." Pinkie Pie said.

"You crazy ponies always seem to find a way." Granny Smith said.

Chucking her gun Granny Smith was about to pull the trigger. When suddenly the gun was taken from her.

"Now listen here Granny Smith if what she's saying is true then we have to believe her." Big Mac said.

"Why you no good little....give me back that gun!" Granny Smith yelled.

"You've been too overprotective ever since Applejack dissapeared." Big Mac said.

"Wait Applejack is missing too?" Pinkie Pie said.

"Eeyup." Big Mac said.

"We woke up one mornin to this strange sound outside and saw Applejack being taken into this strange portal." Applebloom said.

"When we tried to grab her something knocked us back, and then it was too late." Big Mac said.

"She's been gone since yesterday morning. And it's all your fault!" Granny Smith said.

Knocking the gun out of Big Mac's grip she aim it at Pinkie Pie. Letting off one round she fire at her, but with enough time Pinkie Pie was able to get out of the way, missing the bullet by just her hair. Big Mac once again snatched the gun away from Granny Smith this time pushing her inside.

"Now just stay in there for ah little while alright." Big Mac said.

Pinkie Pie, now up against the wall holding to her beating chest looks over at Big Mac and Applebloom as she could see the worried look on their faces.

"I think the age is really starting to get to her Big Mac. What do we do?" Applebloom said.

"I don't know, but we need to think of a way of keeping her safe." Big Mac said.

"Pinkie Pie why don't you come inside, you look like you could use a good rinsin off." Applebloom said.

"We'll try to keep Granny off of ya'h until your done." Bug Mac said.

Taking a big gulp Pinkie Pie walked in behind Big Mac as she could see Granny Smith sitting in her chair staring at her. Maybe this wasn't such a good decision.
