Chapters Fluttershy woke up early in the morning. She crawled out of bed, stretched her wings and legs out, and yawned. She was filled to the brim with excitement, for today was the day she was finally going to tell her best friend, Rainbow Dash, her biggest secret. Nopony knew what Fluttershy was planning on telling Rainbow Dash, not even her animal friends, and she told them almost everything. Then she began thinking, How can I get her alone to tell her? I can't just tell her infront of everypony! Fluttershy thought of every possible way she could get Rainbow Dash alone. I got it, I will just tell her I want to fly with her, and maybe challenge her to a race. Yes, that will keep her interested, then I just need to wait for the right moment and then I can tell her! Fluttershy grinned at her brilliant plan. After a shower and a small breakfast, she began tending to her animal friends, moving as fast as she could so she could go out and find Rainbow Dash.
Meenwhile Rainbow Dash was just finishing her weather chores. She made sure to leave one cloud in the sky so she could rest for a little while. She laid down on the soft fluffy cloud, put her hooves behind her head, and closed her eyes. Without realizing it she fell asleep, and a dream she had been having over and over again for the past three months crept into her head. The dream always happens the same with nothing changing what so ever. It begins with her standing on the edge of a two hundred foot cliff looking down at a violent ocean. Fluttershy walks up beside her and for some reason she is crying. Fluttershy always says the same thing in the dream, "We have to jump Dashie, it's the only way we can finally live in peace, away from all these bigot ponys."
With a single tear escaping her eye Rainbow Dash always replys, "I know, and I'm ready, I'm just scared that there isn't realy a place to go when we die." Rainbow Dash now had tears streaming uncontrolably from her eyes.
Fluttershy put her foreleg around Rainbow Dash's shoulders and in a comforting tone said, "Have faith Dashie, We have to do this, no matter where we are after we die as long as I'm at your side I will be fine." This is where the dream always cuts off. Rainbow Dash opened her eyes and just laid there thinking about the dream. She had no idea what it meant. What did Fluttershy mean when she said bigot ponys, and why were they the reason we were going to commit suicide, and what she said at the end what did that mean? Rainbow Dash thought silently to herself. Then the same and only answer she could ever come up with made it's way into her head. Could it be that somehow Fluttershy and I are in love and nopony likes it and thats why we are jumping? Rainbow Dash was so concerned by this dream. If it was just a random dream that she only had once she wouldn't care so much about it, but she has been having this dream every night for the past three months.
Rainbow Dash cleared the cloud she had rested on out of the sky and landed on the ground. A voice from behind made her jump a little bit. "Hey Rainbow Dash, how are you?" Rainbow Dash turned around and saw that the voice belonged to Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash looked into Fluttershy's eyes and remembered the dream. She didn't want to be around Fluttershy until she figured out what her dream realy meant, but at the same time didn't want to hurt her fellings.
"Oh nothing, I just finished my weather chores, and I was going to head home." Rainbow Dash said hoping Fluttershy would just let her go.
"Well I was kind of wondering if we could fly together, but if your busy thats ok." Fluttershy replied as she lowered her head. Rainbow Dash saw that she had upset Fluttershy, and felt terrible. She couldn't say no to her now even though she wanted to.
"Well.....ok fine we could fly together, but I'm not taking it easy so you had better keep up." Rainbow Dash knew Fluttershy didn't like flying fast, so maybe now she could get away from Fluttershy without hurting her feelings.
Fluttershy just looked up again and with a playfull grin replied, "That sounds like a challenge to me, how about a race?"
Rainbow Dash's jaw nearly droped. Oh dear Celestia, did she just challenge me to a race? She thought to herself. There was no getting out of it now. "If thats what you want, then ok."
Fluttershy took flight and hovered in the air above Rainbow Dash. "Well what are you waiting for, are you scared?" Fluttershy said with the playfull grin still on her face. Rainbow Dash couldn't help but admire Fluttershy's unusual confidence, and thought she might enjoy herself.
Rainbow Dash took to the air and lined herself up beside Fluttershy. A grin was now on her face as well. "Where to?" Rainbow Dash asked in a tough tone. She was ready to go.
"The other end of the Everfree forest." Fluttershy replied. Rainbow Dash counted down, and they were off. Rainbow Dash had the lead. She was flying as fast as she could, but when she flew over Fluttershy's cottage, and was over the Everfree forest, Fluttershy passed her up.
Whoa, did she just pass me, what in equestria has gotten into Fluttershy? Rainbow Dash tried to push herself to fly faster, but she was already working at top performance. Finally Fluttershy made it to the finish line she had set and landed. Raibow Dash finished five seconds after Fluttershy, but she didn't land. When she looked down she saw a cliff overlooking a body of water she didn't even know was there. It was the same cliff from her dream. She wanted to fly away and never come back to this area.
"Are you going to come down here or not?" Fluttershy yelled at Rainbow Dash after she caught her breath.Rainbow Dash still wanted to fly away, but Fluttershy shot her a look that she couldn't say no to, so she reluctantly she landed on the cliff beside Fluttershy. They both looked down at the sea, which stretched out beyond the horizen. "Isn't it beautiful?" Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash didn't reply, for her mind was still on her dream. Fluttershy saw that something was wrong with her rainbow maned friend, and knew that she wasn't even paying attention to her. "Is something wrong?" Fluttershy was now very concerned.
"Huh...what...oh I just don't like this place, thats all." Rainbow Dash replied as she came back to reality.
I can't tell her my secret here, I need to take her somewhere else. Fluttershy thought for a minute on where they could go and then she got an idea. She took Rainbow Dash's foreleg into hers and took flight.
"What are you doing?" Rainbow Dash asked as she tried to stay on the ground.
"Just come with me, I know a place you will like." Fluttershy replied. Rainbow Dash gave up and followed Fluttershy's lead. Fluttershy landed in a clearing in the middle of the forest with her foreleg still locked with Rainbow Dash's. It was a beautiful setting. The trees were in a perfect circle around them, the flowers were bright and vibrant with color, and the grass was well trimed. Fluttershy released Rainbow Dash and laid down on her back. Rainbow Dash looked around. This place was wonderful. Rainbow Dash laid down beside Fluttershy, and put her hooves behind her head.
"Well is there anything you want to talk about Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash asked trying to start a conversation. Fluttershy thought about going ahead and telling Rainbow Dash her secret, but instead she started talking about the race. The conversation started with that and went on for hours changing to many different subjects. The moon was now in the sky and the stars were twinkling above.
It's now or never, she will want to leave soon." Fluttershy thought to herself. "Dashie, I have something to tell you, and it is very important."
Rainbow Dash looked over at Fluttershy.Did she just call me Dashie? She shruged it off and asked, "What is it Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy rolled over on her side and looked Rainbow Dash in the eyes. With a deep breath she finally told the blue colored pegasis her secret. "Ever since the day I met you I felt something strange, something I couldn't explain, and I soon found out what it was. I know you probably wont feel the same, and maybe you never will, but this needs to be said, I'm in love with you Rainbow Dash, and I have been since the day we met."
Rainbow Dash's eyse and mouth were wide open in shock at what she just heard. All she could say was, "What did you just say?"
Rainbow Dash got up from the grass as fast as she could and started backing away slowly as if Fluttershy were a dangerous animal. Fluttershy stood up as well, but she stood still. She saw that she had frightened her Rainbow maned friend, and knew that she had to repair the damage she had caused. "Dashie, I didn't meen to...."
Rainbow Dash cut her off by saying, "Stop calling me that!" She didn't realize she had yelled. Fluttershy stared at her in shock. She turned away from Rainbow Dash and began crying.
"I..I'm s..sorry." Fluttershy managed to say through her sobs. Rainbow Dash didn't say another word. She just flew off as fast as her wings would allow, but as she was flying away tears began streaming from her eyes as well.
Did I just do that to poor Fluttershy? All she did was tell me how she felt, and I acted like that, like a total bitch! Damn that stupid dream, because of it I might have just ruined a friendship! Rainbow Dash was giving herself hell inside her head. She would probably just run away if I went back now, so I should wait until tomorrow then I will try and apologize. Rainbow Dash thought her plan was hopeless, but it was all she could do. The tears were still pooring from her eyes when she landed infront of her door. She opened it, slamed it behind her, and went straight to her bed. She cryed herself to sleep not looking forward to that stupid dream that had caused her to act the way she did toward Fluttershy, but tonight she had a different dream for the first time in three months.
It began with her standing face to face with Fluttershy in the clearing they had been in that verry day. They were both wearing beautiful white dresses. Fluttershy had a smile on her face that melted Rainbow Dashes heart. "Do you promise to love me forever no matter how tough life may be for us?" Fluttershy asked looking Rainbow Dash in the eyes.
"I do, and do you promise to love me forever no matter what obstacles stand in our path?" Rainbow Dash replied.
"I do." Fluttershy replied, and with that her lips met Rainbow Dash's. The kiss lasted for a good thirty seconds. They pulled back from each other and smiled. Rainbow Dash's heart was beating fast, and so was Fluttershy's. This dream repeated in Rainbow Dash's head over and over until she woke up in the morning. She was glad the dream she had been having before was no longer infecting her mind, but she didn't much like this dream either.
What the hell is with these weird dreams about Fluttershy, and what do they mean? Rainbow Dash couldn't think of anything. Sure I love Fluttershy, but not that way and I can't even begin to immagine what could make me love her that way. Rainbow Dash crawled out of her bed and began her morning routine. First a shower then breakfast then weather chores. After she finished she started heading for Fluttershy's cottage. She desserves an appology. She probably thinks I think she is a freak, so I need to tell her about the dream and why I acted the way I did. Rainbow Dash landed in front of Fluttershy's door.
She looked down to see Angel pacing and panicing. "Uhhh, whats wrong little guy?" Rainbow Dash asked. Angel pointed at a note on the door. Rainbow Dash read it out loud. "To my dearest friends, I have thought alot about this and I have realized that I can not be who I truely am without being shuned and treated like a monster, so I have decided to take my own life! I'm sorry for being different and not being what you all want me to be!" Rainbow Dash's face turned white. "Oh no!" She kicked Fluttershy's door open and searched every room in the house calling out her name. She was no where to be found, but then a thought came to Rainbow Dash. The cliff! Rainbow Dash rushed out of the door and took to the air without hesitation. She flew so fast that she caused a sonic rainboom. When she made it to the cliff she looked down to see Fluttershy standing at the edge with her wings bound to her sides by rope to ensure she wouldn't be able to reverse her decision. "Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash screamed as loud as she could, but it was to late. Fluttershy jumped.
Rainbow Dash flew down toward Fluttershy and managed to catch her right before she collided with a rock jutting out from the waters surface. She flew back up with Fluttershy in her forelegs and landed on the cliff holding her tight. Fluttershy was crying into Rainbow Dash's neck. Rainbow Dash began crying to. "Nothing is worth killing your self over, please don't ever scare me like that again! I thought I lost you!" Rainbow Dash held on to Fluttershy as tight as she could.
"I'm a freak, just throw me off the cliff and let me die!" Fluttershy pushed Rainbow Dash away and looked her in the eyes. "Isn't that what you want anyways!? All I am is a freak to you, and if I told anyone else they would act the exact same way you did!" Fluttershy screamed. Rainbow Dash felt like her heart shatered into a million little peices.
"Your not a freak, and I don't want you to die. I acted the way I did because of a stupid dream I kept having, but I don't think your a freak." Rainbow Dash said. She felt horrible and responsible for Fluttershy's attempt at suicide.
"A dream? You acted like that over a dream!?" Fluttershy had a look of pure hate on her face. She slapped Rainbow Dash accross the face. "I almost killed myself because of you!"
Rainbow Dash knew that she deserved the slap Fluttershy had gave her. "I know and I feel horrible because of that, but That wasn't what I thought would happen."
"Well it did!" Fluttershy's face was turning more red every second. Rainbow Dash knew that Fluttershy may never speak to her again, and the tears in her eyes began flowing faster.
Then Rainbow Dash began wondering why she would even care. She had lots of friends and if it were any one of them she wouldn't care if they ever spoke to her again, but for some reason she wanted to keep Fluttershy. Then it hit her, the dreams and the way she cared for Fluttershy could only mean one thing. "I think I might feel the same way you do." Rainbow Dash was shocked at the involuntary words that came out of her mouth, but it was acctualy the truth.
Fluttershy's look of hate was replaced with an unsure look as she replied, "What do you mean?"
Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what she was about to say. "I don't know for sure, but I may be in love with you to." Fluttershy just looked at her as if she didn't believe a word of it. Rainbow Dash saw this and continued trying to convince her. "I have been having very strange dreams about me and you. The first was me and you on this very cliff about to jump because nopony accepted our love, and the other one was our wedding." Rainbow Dash had no idea why a smile just came to her face, but she just shrugged it off. Fluttershy just continued to look at Rainbow Dash like she didn't believe her. "If it were anypony else standing in front of me right now I would have already walked off, but for some reason I don't want to lose you as a friend, and who knows maybe with time we could become more if you would even still give me a chance."
"You know what Dash....Sorry Rainbow Dash I mean, anyways, I have nearly killed myself because of you, so even if I did believe what you have told me I don't think you deserve any of my affection." Fluttershy replied as the look of hate returned to her face.
"Please Shy, I am begging you to give me a chance." Rainbow Dash said as she sat on her flank and put her hooves together. She wanted nothing more than to earn Fluttershy's trust back, and she was willing to do anything.
"I made a mistake when I thought I loved you, and now I regret it more than anything. It would be best if we stayed away from each other." Fluttershy replied in an unforgiving and cold tone. She walked away without even saying goodbye. Rainbow Dash felt a pain in her chest. She felt like she was going to fall apart where she sat. She stood up and looked over the edge of the cliff.
I should jump and end it all. Rainbow Dash shook her head to try and shake the thought she just had. No, I am stronger than this! She knew that suicide wouldn't solve a thing. Isn't it funny Dash? Just this morning you were saying to yourself that you couldn't even immagine feeling this way about her, and now look at you, she just broke your heart. Rainbow Dash took to the air and headed back to her home in the sky. She didn't want anypony to see her like this. Her face was soaked in tears, she still had a hoove print on her face from the slap she had reveived, and she couldn't speak anymore without her voice cracking. She landed slopily infront of her door and opened it. She slammed it behind her and went strait to her bed to just lie there and cry.
Fluttershy saw that her door was already open and slammed it after entering the cottage. Angel jumped for joy when he saw Fluttershy was still ok. She ignored him and went to her bathroom. She cut the rope binding her wings to her side. There was a picture of Rainbow Dash she kept on the mirror. She pulled it off and ripped it to shreds. She looked in the mirror at her self. You idiot, how could you love her? You should have known she would have done that to you! She punched her mirror and it shattered. The shards of broken glass had cut her hoove pretty bad. She opened the medicine cabinate and retrieved some bandages that she used to doctor herself up. Rainbow Dash was right, she isn't worth killing myself over! The hate she felt for the pegasis she thought she loved for so many years was filling her to the brim. I need to sit down, my head is starting to hurt. She went downstairs into her living room and sat on the coutch. Angel crawled up beside her and laid his head on her right hind leg. "Well at least your still hear for me Angel." Angel looked up at her and nodded.
"I'm sorry I scared you like that, I promise that I won't ever do that again." Fluttershy said. She could tell by the look in Angel's eyes that he was thanking her. She stroked his fur for a while until she dozed off.
A dream crept into her mind. It began with her walking up to the cliff she had tried to jump off of not to long ago. Rainbow Dash was standing there looking over the edge. "We have to jump Dashie, it's the only way we can finally live in peace, away from all these bigot ponys."

Rainbow Dash replys, "I do, and do you promise to love me forever no matter what obstacles stand in our path?"
"I do." Fluttershy replys, and with that there lips meet in a pationate kiss. Fluttershy woke up and found herself breathing heavily. Didn't Rainbow Dash say she had these dreams? Fluttershy pondered if this could mean anything. No, she just put those ideas into my head thats all, and it is nothing I need to worry myself about. Fluttershy gently moved the now sleeping Angel off of her and went up stairs to lie in her bed. She covered herself up and drifted into sleep again. This time she dreamed of what it would be like if she were born and raised in Canterlot as an earth pony.
Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was laying in her bed with a picture of Fluttershy held close to her chest. You could have told Fluttershy about the dreams you were having instead of flying away from her like that. She felt empty as if she had lost something very important to her. At least I saved her and she is ok, thats all I need, and if she is happy then I am to. Rainbow Dash tried to lie to herself to give the illusion that everything was going to be ok. She closed her eyes and hoped that she would have a dream about Fluttershy, for that was probably the only way she would ever get to see her again.
Rainbow Dash woke up early for once, but she was in no hurry to get out of her bed. She still had the picture of Fluttershy next to her. She looked at it closely, admiring all of Fluttershy's features. I need to hear her soothing voice again. She thought as she kissed the picture and set it down at her bedside. Her mind began to wander to another subject. Why do I feel this way about her? I have never once even looked at a mare thinking she was attractive. Rainbow Dash was very confused about herself. Maybe I do love her, I mean that is the only way to explain this. She got out of bed. I realy don't think there is any maybe to it, I do love her. Rainbow Dash finally gave in. She realized that Fluttershy was her first actual love. She hates me now! What could I do to earn her forgiveness? Rainbow Dash pondered this while preparing for a shower. Well I guess I could start small, maybe just get her some flowers. That was all she could come up with. After her shower and finishing her weather chores she grabed her saddlebags and headed out.
She knew exactly where the floral shop was, but she never thought she would ever need to enter it. She landed infront of the shop and almost stoped herself from reaching for the door handle. She was nervous about being seen going into a flower shop, but she forced herself to open the door and walk up to the counter. A gray stallion with black mane and square framed glasses stood behind the counter. "What can I do for you?"
Rainbow Dash replied in a nervous and rushed tone, "I need a bouquet of red roses." The store clerk raised an eyebrow and looked at her funny.
"Is something wrong miss, you seem a little nervous." He asked awaiting Rainbow Dash's response
"Oh...it's just that these roses are for somepony realy special to me and I just don't know if she will accept them." Rainbow Dash suddenly realized what she had said. "I mean he, sorry."
The store clerk smiled and giggled a little bit. "Oh thats alright, and don't worry I get ponys like you in my shop every day." He turned around and walked through a door behind him and came back with a bouquet of fifteen roses. "Five bits please." Rainbow Dash retreived the money from her saddlebag and placed it on the counter.
"Oh and can I get a card to?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Sure, and the card is free of charge." He opened a drawer and pulled out a small, white peice of paper and a pen. "What would you like it to say?"
Rainbow Dash blushed. "Promise not to laugh at me please."
The store clerk smiled again. "Like I said before, I get ponys like you in here all the time, so I am not going to laugh. As a matter of fact it warms my heart to hear what you young lovers have to say sometimes." He and Rainbow Dash both laughed.
"Ok then, this is what I want it to say." Rainbow Dash took a deep breath and said, "Since the day we met I knew we would be friends forever, but recently I have felt like we are more than that, and I know you feel the same too, so maybe we can be more than just friends."
The store clerk wrote down every word and slipped the card into the bouquet leaving half of the card sticking out. "Here you are, and good luck." He gave the roses to Rainbow Dash and she put them in her saddle bag.
"Thank you." Rainbow Dash replied. She left the shop and flew toward Fluttershy's cottage. She landed outside the door, and placed the roses on the mat. She knocked on the door and flew away just far enough to where she could see Fluttershy, but Fluttershy couldn't see her. Afew seconds later Fluttershy answered the door.
"Hello?" Fluttershy said as she looked around. She looked down and saw the roses. She picked them up and saw that a card was with them. As she read it a tear came to her eye. I know who these are from. Why is she even trying? She took them in and fetched a vase. She unwraped the roses and put them in the vase and placed them on the table in her living room. She read the card once more. Can I forgive her? Fluttershy began thinking on whether or not Rainbow Dash deserved it.
Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was wondering if this would work or not. She flew toward her home, hopeing for the best. She sat in her living room for hours just thinking about Fluttershy. She saw that it had gotten late, and began walking to her bedroom. A knock on her door stoped her in her tracks. She could almost sense who it was. She rushed over and opened the door, and sure enough there stood Fluttershy, but she was in tears. "Whats wrong Flutter......." Fluttershy cut her off with a kiss. Rainbow Dash's eyes widened and her heart started pounding, but she closed her eyes as well and returned the kiss. It started out as closed mouth, but turned into pationate open mouth kiss. Rainbow Dash felt like she was in heaven. Fluttershy pulled back and they were both breathing heavy.
"I'm so sorry Dashie, I never should have been so harsh." Fluttershy said as she wrapped Rainbow Dash in a tight hug.
"You have nothing to be sorry for." Rainbow Dash hugged her tighter. She never wanted to let go. Her eyes began to tear up as well.
"Yes I do, I should have never even thought of killing myself and I should have never talked to you like that." Fluttershy replied as she nuzzled Rainbow Dash's neck.
"I'm sorry for acting the way I did when you told me you loved me, and I promise I love you to." Rainbow Dash said. Fluttershy pulled out of the hug and looked deep into Rainbow Dash's eyes.
"Do you realy love me?" Fluttershy asked desperetly praying silently for a yes.
Without hesitation Rainbow Dash replied, "Of cource I do Shy, and I wish I could have realized that sooner." She kissed her again and held Fluttershy in her forelegs. This moment was perfect for both of them.
"What made you forgive me?" Rainbow Dash asked. She was verry curious of why Fluttershy would forgive her so quickly after what she had done.
"You know me Dashie, I can't stay mad at anypony no matter what they have done to me." Fluttershy replied. "You're also the only pony I have ever loved, and that love wasn't going to wither away even if I tried to force it to." Rainbow Dash hugged her tighter. They pulled away from each other and Rainbow Dash looked down at Fluttershy's bandaged hoove.
"What happened to your hoove? Are you ok?" Rainbow Dash looked concerned.
"I punched my mirror after...well...you know, but I'm ok." Fluttershy said in a reasuring tone.
Rainbow Dash lowered her head in shame. "I am so sorry Shy, I will never do anything to hurt you again, I swear." Rainbow Dash felt terrible for all the pain she had caused.
"Dashie, you didn't mean to cause that, if anything I should apolagize." Fluttershy put her hoove under Rainbow Dash's chin to raise her head so she could look her in the eyes. "I love you Dashie."
Rainbow Dash was lost in Fluttershy's blue eyes. Fluttershy's look calmed her a little as she replied, "I love you to Shy." Rainbow Dash kissed Fluttershy once more. They were holding each other in a warm embrace again.
After there lips seperated Fluttershy asked, "Dashie, do you think everypony will be against us for what we are?"
Rainbow Dash's eyes popped open. She had not thought of this. "Well to be honest shy, I don't realy know, but I don't think everypony will be like that, granted the majority of Ponyville, or maybe even Equestria will be." Rainbow Dash then started to worry. She knew they would never be able to go public with their relationship.
"What can we do then?" Fluttershy asked as she backed out of the hug.
Rainbow Dash thought for a moment and then said, "We can't be to sure Shy, so we may have to keep this between us." She hated saying this, but knew it was true.
Fluttershy looked down at the ground. She didn't want her love to be a secret, but her love for Rainbow Dash overcame this. "If thats what we have to do to be together then I don't care."
Rainbow Dash's mind wen't somewhere else after she came back from being lost in Fluttershy's eyes. "It's getting late isn't it?"
"Uh, I supose." Fluttershy replied.
Rainbow Dash took a deep breath and said, "It might be dangerous to go all the way back to your house this late at night, if you want to you could stay here tonight." Fluttershy blushed and giggled. Rainbow Dash quickly realized why. She had realized what other intentions her offer could have. "No no no Fluttershy, it's not what you think, I just don't want anything to happen to you." She blushed with embarasment.
"I know Dashie, if you realy want me to spend the night here I will." Then Fluttershy giggled again and asked, "So, where will I sleep."
Rainbow Dash blushed even more. She knew that she only had one bed, and she didn't want to make Fluttershy sleep on the couch. "Uh, well you can sleep in my bed, and I will sleep on the couch, I don't want you to be uncomfortable."
"Oh no, I cant take your bed, but I think I have a solution." Fluttershy replied. "I think we have known each other long enough and became close enough to be able to sleep together just one night."
Without hesitation Rainbow Dash replied in a nervous tone, "Ok then, but of cource nothing will happen right?"
"Right." Fluttershy agreed. With that they walked side by side upstairs to Rainbow Dash's bedroom. She opened the door and gestured for Fluttershy to get in the bed first. After Fluttershy got into the bed and under the covers Rainbow Dash joined her. "Isn't it funny Dashie, one day we are just friends and the next we are sleeping together." Fluttershy said while playfuly giggling.
"Ok now your just trying to make me nervous." Rainbow Dash replied in a playful voice as she snuggled up to Fluttershy.
"I'm sorry, will this make up for it?" Fluttershy replied as she pressed her lips to Rainbow Dash's one last time for tonight. "I love you."
"I love you to." Rainbow Dash said as she closed her eyes. It only took them ten minutes to fall asleep. They were right where they thought they belonged. They both dreamed of each other that night, and this time the dreams were peaceful.
The next morning Rainbow Dash was first to wake up. She looked at Fluttershy peacefuly sleeping and thanked Celestia that last night was not a dream. She carefuly pulled herself out of Fluttershy's grasp and crawled out of bed. She stretched her wings and legs out and yawned. She gently kissed Fluttershy on the forehead and made her way downstairs. "Well, I guess I should go ahead and clear the sky." She wispered to herself as she opened her door and flew off to perform her chores.
After Rainbow Dash had cleared the sky she heard a voice below her screaming, "Rainbow Dash, Rainbow Dash, Rainbow Dash, I need to show you something!" She looked down to see Scootaloo jumping up and down excitedly. Rainbow Dash landed infront of her and saw that she had an image of a scooter on her flank. "I just got my cutie mark, I should have known it would have something to do with my scooter!"
Rainbow Dash smiled and replied, "Thats great, but what about Applebloom and Sweetie Bell?"
Scootaloo frowned and replied, "I don't know, Applejack said Applebloom was with Sweetie Bell, but she didn't know where they went."
Rainbow Dash put her hoove on Scootaloo's shoulder and tried to reasure her. "Hey it's ok, they're probably looking for you, so you should go looking for them to."
Scootaloo's smile returned. "Your right, well I should get started."
"Ok and congrats on the cutie mark." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Thank you." Scootaloo turned around and ran off.
Rainbow Dash went back into the sky and flew home. When she arrived she discovered that Fluttershy had already left. There was a note on the table in the living room. Rainbow Dash read it aloud to herself. "Rainbow Dash, I am sorry that I had to leave, but I couldn't leave the animals unatended, and I promised Angel I would have a picnic with him today, so I won't be able to see you today, I love you, Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash held the note to her chest close to her heart and said, "I love you to Shy." Even though she knew Fluttershy couldn't hear her.
Rainbow Dash awoke the next morning and found that she had passed out on her couch. "Oh Celestia my back is killing me." She stood up and stretched, and then she heard a cracking sound. "Ow!" It hurt for a moment but it seemed that she had put her spine into proper alignment. She went through her morning routine of getting ready for the day. After she finished with the usual shower and breakfast she debated on what she could do to make the day go by faster. It was her day off, so she didn't have to complete any chores. She knew seeing Fluttershy was out of the question, but she wanted to see her so bad that she couldn't stand it. She wont care if I just stop by to say hi, and then I can just practice some moves or something. Rainbow Dash thought to herself. Just seeing Fluttershy for a few seconds would be enough to hold her off for a while, so she set off for the Everfree Forest.
Rainbow Dash flew over the forest for what seemed to be forever, but was realy fifteen minutes. There was no way Fluttershy was in the forest. Where in Equestria is she? Rainbow Dash was puzzled. Maybe she didn't leave her cottage yet. She flew toward Fluttershy's home. Who knows, maybe I could ask to go on that picnic with her and Angel. She landed at the front door and knocked, but there was no answer. She knocked again, and once again there was no answer. Suddenly she felt something hit her in the back of the head. She turned around to find Angel had thrown a carrot at her. "What the....." She stopped herself from cursing at the small rabbit because she needed to know where Fluttershy had gone. "Hey little guy, do you know where Shy went?" Angel rolled his eyes and pointed toward town. "Why would she go there?" Rainbow Dash asked. Angel shrugged and hopped off.
Did she realy lie to me? Was the only question on Rainbow Dash's mind as she flew toward the center of Ponyville. She hated to think Fluttershy would do such a thing, but she knew Fluttershy would only lie for one reason, and that was to keep from hurting someponys feelings. She arrived to her destination, stopped, and hovered. What could she be doing that would hurt my feelings. She waited for ten minutes with no sign of Fluttershy. Finally she walked out of beautiful looking house, and following behind her was a handsome stallion with a blonde maine and black coat. What is she doing?
Rainbow Dash nearly fell out of the sky when Fluttershy turned around and gave the handsome colt a hug. No! She wouldn't cheat on me! Rainbow Dash trusted Fluttershy to much to assume that, but her trust died when Fluttershy gave the stallion a kiss on the cheek. She felt her heart shatter as tears flooded her eyes. The stallion gave Flutteshy a small box with a red ribbon on it and she put it in her right saddle bag. Rainbow Dash couldn't stand to watch this any longer, so she flew away as fast as she could. She flew so fast that she actually caused a sonic rain boom without even realizing it. The added speed helped her get home in only a few seconds. She almost crashed into her door when she landed. She opened the door and slammed it as hard as she could behind her.
"How could she, and with a colt of all ponies?" Rainbow Dash asked as she fell on her couch. She was still crying furiously. "I thought she loved me, I thought she cared about me, we slept together for Celestias sake!" She felt used. After all she and Fluttershy had been through it seemed as if they were created for each other. "I feel like such an idiot, why would she do this?" Rainbow Dash kept shouting questions of why and how at herself. She just couldn't understand. She burried her face in the cushion of the couch and continued to cry while screaming random obsceneties.
Two hours later a knock on Rainbow Dash's door caused her to jump and look toward the source of the sound. A voice then sounded from behind the door. "Dashie, may I come in, Its very important." It was Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash didn't want to seem week when she confronted Fluttershy about what she had seen, so she did her best to stop crying, dried her face as best she could, and walked to the door. When she opened it she instantly turned around, for she didn't want to even see Fluttershy's face.
"So, how was your picnic?" Rainbow Dash asked in a sarcastic tone.
"Well Dashie, there wasn't realy a picnic, and thats why I'm here." Fluttershy replied wondering why Rainbow Dash sounded sarcastic, and why she was turned away from her.
"Trust me Fluttershy, I know." Rainbow Dash replied as she lowered her head in sadness, but then she raised right back up and turned around. "I saw you with that stallion, I know what you were realy doing!" Her sadness was replaced by anger.
"Oh my, well I didn't want you to find out like this, but why do you seem angry, I thought you would be happy." Fluttershy replid in a puzzled voice.
"Why would I be happy that you lied to me and played with my emotions?" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"Wait do you think I was......" Fluttershy giggled.
"Now your bucking laughing about it!" Rainbow Dash couldn't stand the taunting.
"That was an old friend of mine that just got into town, and he gave something to me." Fluttershy responded as her giggles turned into full on laughter.
"Oh well that makes it all better, am I supposed to forgive you because he was an old friend?" Rainbow Dash was furious.
Fluttershy managed to stop laughing and said, "He has traveled the entire world, and he managed to obtain a fireruby engagement band which he gave me, so that I could give it to you."
"What?" Rainbow Dash was unsure if she had heard correctly.
Fluttershy walked closer to Rainbow Dash and pulled the box out of her saddle bag and placed it on the floor infront of Rainbow Dash. "Go ahead and open it." Fluttershy said with excitement etched on her face. Rainbow Dash opened it and couldn't believe her eyes. It was beautiful. A gold ring that looked like it was a perfect fit for her with well cut fire rubies decorating it.
"I...I can't..." Rainbow Dash was speachless.
"Dashie, I have loved you ever since we were little fillies, and that love has never ended and never will, you are everything to me, and the rainbow above my heart, which is why I hope you will make me the happiest mare in the world." Fluttershy teared up in joy as the words left her lips and Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped. "Rainbow Dash, will you marry me?"
The question rang through Rainbow Dash's skull. Now she was sure she was wrong about what she had saw, and felt bad for being mad. She said the only thing she could as she began to cry again in complete joy. "Yes yes yes, a thousand times yes!" Rainbow Dash extended her foreleg and Fluttershy placed the engagement band on it. She lowered her foreleg and kissed Fluttershy, who she could now consider her future wife.
Rainbow Dash held Fluttershy tight. She was in a euphoric state. It was almost like she was floating, but she crashed back to earth as she realized something. Her eyes widened and she pulled back from Fluttershy. "How are we supposed to get married if we can't let anypony know about us?" Rainbow Dash asked with a worried tone.
Fluttershy's smile turned to a look of frustrasion as she replied, "Dashie, I hoped you would understand that it can't be a secret forever."
Rainbow Dash's mind began racing. I already get called a lesbian enough because of my mane and the fact that I never even went on a single date with a colt before! Fluttershy saw that Rainbow Dash was thinking hard about what she had said. Her look of frustration turned to a look of hopelesnes. Rainbow Dash looked into her eyes and smiled. "Shy, I would do anything to make you happy." She kissed Fluttershy on the forehead and embraced her again. "I don't care what anypony else thinks, you are the only pony I ever loved and the only one I ever will love." Fluttershy couldn't help but let a little teer of joy slip out of her eye. "If we have to leave equestria all together I won't care as long as we're together."
"Thanks Dashie." Fluttershy replied as the smile returned to her face. "So should we go and see if Rarity can help us plan the wedding?"
"Wait, does it have to be Rarity?" Rainbow Dash asked. She was ready to open up to everypony, but she was reluctent about telling her friends. What if they didn't accept the couple?
"She would be the only pony I trust with such a task, besides she would think we're cute together." Fluttershy said with confidence.
Rainbow Dash couldn't argue. Rarity was a sucker for romance. Rainbow Dash pushed her fears aside and said, "Your right Shy, we should go and pay her a visit."
They both let go of each other and looked each other in the eyes. "Well, we should get going because she might be to preocupied to help us if we wait any longer." With that they were off to Rarity's place.
The flight over was quiet. Both of them were to nervous to speak. They landed on Rarity's doorstep and Fluttershy knocked on the door. Rarity opened it and greeted Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. "Oh hello, what brings you two here so early?"
Fluttershy replied, "May we come in Rarity, we have a big favor to ask."
Rarity smiled, expecting them to ask her to make a couple of dresses, and said, "Of cource, come on in." She moved aside, allowing her two friends to enter. She closed her door and asked, "Now what can I do for..." She stoped in midsentence at the sight of Rainbow Dash's engagement band. With a gasp she asked, "Where on earth did you get that?"
Fluttershy was the one who answered the question. "Well thats why we're here, we were wondering if you could help us plan a wedding."
Rarity squeeled in excitement. This was much better than what she first thought they would ask of her. "Oh yes yes yes, who is the lucky stallion?"
Rainbow Dash lowered her head to hide her blushing. Fluttershy once again was the one to speak. "Actually Rarity, Rainbow Dash and I are getting married."
"Oh so it's two weddings then, that will be so much work, but I can do it." Rarity replied in an even more excited tone.
"No Rarity you misunderstood me, what I meant is I asked Dashie to marry me." Fluttershy prepared for Rarity to throw them out after seeing the look on her face.
"You...I...what?" Was all Rarity managed to say in her shocked state.
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and said, "For Celestia's sake, me and Fluttershy are in love with each other and we would like you to plan our wedding, so are you in or out?"
Rarity just stood their a moment in shock. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy both turned red in embarasment, but Rarity finally spoke. "Are you serious?" The two red faced ponies just nodded. "Well I could help you, but could you help me first?"
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy looked at Rarity with surprise. Rainbow Dash asked, "Arn't you going to call us freaks or something?"
"Oh of cource not deer, I was just surprised it took this long to happen." Rarity replied.
"What the buck is that supposed to mean?" Rainbow Dash replied in a ticked off tone.
"Calm down, I just always thought you two would be cute together is all, and I can always tell when two ponies are in love." Rarity was now smiling. "I'm happy for the both of you, but I realy need your help."
Fluttershy smiled back and said, "Of cource we will help you, what do you need?"
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes again and said, "Sure."
Rarity shot an angry look at Rainbow Dash, but she looked back to Fluttershy and began smiling again. "Could you talk to Sweetie Bell, oh I don't know how to say this, she has become, how should I put this, close to Applejack's little sister, as close as you two have become I think."
"Is there something wrong with that?" Fluttershy asked with hope that the reply would be no.
"Well yes, but it's not what you think, you see she is very confused and doesn't know what to think, I don't know what to tell her, so please just talk to her and explain that what she is feeling is normal." Rarity said now looking serious.
Rainbow Dash finally spoke. "Ok we can talk to her, that must have been the reason Scootaloo couldn't find them." Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash like she didn't know what she was talking about.
"Oh, thank you both, she is in her room, I'll take you to her." Rarity replied as she led the couple to Sweetie Bell's bedroom. She opened the door and pretty much shoved them in. The door was shut behind them. Sweetie Bell was on her bed with her face in her pillow.
"Hey Sweetie Bell, Rarity told us you had a problem that me can help with." Fluttershy said in a caring voice.
"Get the hell out of my room." Sweetie Bell replied in a ''I don't care'' tone.
"Whoa, we are trying to help you you spoiled little....." Fluttershy put her hoof over Rainbow Dash's mouth to shut her up. She removed it and Rainbow Dash muttered, "Little Rarity."
Fluttershy walked up next to Sweetie Bell's bed and sat down. "Rainbow Dash and I feel the same way you and your little friend feel about each other, if anyone can help you its us."
Sweetie Bell looked up with a little bit of hope in her eyes. "Really?" Fluttershy nodded and Sweetie Bell told them everything. "Me and Apple Bloom just care about each other a lot and we think we like, like each other and when we kissed I got confused and I don't want to be a freak!" Sweetie Bell lowered her head as if she was shamed by something.
Rainbow Dash's jaw was resting on the floor. Fluttershy just smiled and put a hoof on Sweetie Bell's shoulder. "It's ok, you're not a freak, what you feel is natural, and you should be proud."
Rainbow Dash finally spoke. "Answer a question real quick kid, has anyone called you a freak because of this?"
Sweetie Bell lowered her head even more. "Just Scootaloo after she showed us her cutie mark."
"What!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"Scootaloo got her cutie mark?" Fluttershy asked with raised eyebrows.
Sweetie Bell ignored Fluttershy's question as she turned her attention to Rainbow Dash. "I think she was just mad because we said we needed to be alone with each other."
"Look kid, when I was your age I was made fun of by everyone because of my mane, but I learned a phrase that made everyone shut up." Rainbow Dash replied like she really cared.
"What phrase?" Sweetie Bell asked with curiosity.
"Buck you." Rainbow Dash replied with confidence.
"Dashie!" Fluttershy looked mad as can be.
"What, the kid needs to know how to defend herself." Rainbow Dash giggled.
"I don't want to talk like that, but thank you both, this actually helped." Sweetie Bell said as she hugged Fluttershy and ran over to hug Rainbow Dash.
"We're glad we could help, now we have to talk to your sister now." Rainbow Dash said as she opened the door. Sweetie Bell nodded with a smile on her face and the soon to be newly weds walked out. Rarity was waiting for them with a hopeful look on her face.
"Did she listen?" Rarity asked.
"Yes she did." Fluttershy replied.
"Oh, thank Celestia, follow me and we can talk about what exactly you want." Rarity said as she turned to lead them downstairs.
"What a day so far." Rainbow Dash wispered to Fluttershy as they walked downstairs.
Fluttershy giggled and stole a quick kiss. "Just please don't try to make a child say bad things again."
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash tried to give Rarity an idea about what they wanted. They were still trying to determine where it would be before they were interupted by Rarity's door loudly swinging open. Applejack stood in the doorway looking like she could kill somepony, and Applebloom was behind her pulling her tail trying her best to force her big sister to retreat. "Where is she?" Applejack screamed as she charged at Rarity, dragging Applebloom behind her.
"Who are you talking about?" Rarity asked with fright in her voice.
"You know damn well who I'm talkin' about, where is your sister?" Applejack was furious. Her face was blood red, she snarled when she spoke, and she had a murderous look in her eyes.
Rarity started to look the same way. "You leave my sister alone you bitch!" Rarity screamed in reply. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash grabbed each other and held on tight. Applebloom began to cry on the floor. Applejack drew back to punch Rarity, but stopped when Sweetie Bell entered the room.
"Applebloom!" Sweetie Bell exclaimed as she ran to embrace Applebloom. Applebloom returned the hug.
"This is wrong Applebloom, what would Granny Smith say?" Applejack asked as if her life depended on an answer. Applebloom didn't respond. "Well I guess we're gonna find out, come on now!" Applejack grabbed her little sister by the back of the neck and tried her best to drag her out of the boutique.
Applebloom let go of Sweetie Bell, jerked away from Applejack, turned around, and screamed, "Stop, just stop, I can't help what I am and if you have a problem with it then find a new little sister!" The room went silent and Applejack looked shocked. "I don't really give a damn what you think, excuse my language, of me and Sweetie Bell!" The look on Applejack's face was priceless. Applebloom readied herself to charge at her sister.
"How dare you speak to me like that?" Applejack readied herself to charge as well. Sweetie Bell retreated to Rarity's side.
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash suddenly rushed in between the two enraged ponies. "Stop, please stop!" Fluttershy pleaded to try and break up the fussing.
"What do you two have in this, stay out of it!" Applejack demanded.
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash looked at Applejack, and then they looked at each other, and kissed. They then looked back to Applejack. "That's what we have in this." Rainbow Dash replied in a smart ellic tone.
"Oh Celestia, you to?" Applejack looked defeated.
"You listen and you listen good, there is nothing wrong with this, and I think you need to leave now." Rainbow Dash declared in a seething voice as she shoved Applejack. Rarity nodded in agreement.
Applejack didn't know what to do, she didn't want to start a fight because she was outnumbered, and she could only think of one thing to say. "Fine then, I will leave, but Applebloom ain't commin' with me." She looked to her little sister. "You find your own damn way." With that she was out the door. Rarity ran over and slammed it behind her. Applebloom sat on her flank and concealed her face in her hooves as she began to cry again. Sweetie Bell rushed to embrace Applebloom once more.
"This is all my fault." Sweetie Bell said in an apologetic tone.
"No it's not, it's noponys fault." Applebloom tried to reasure Sweetie Bell. "I love you."
"I love you to." Sweetie Bell replied.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy hugged up to each other. Fluttershy shed a single tear while Rainbow Dash tried her best not to. This was the most romantic thing they had ever seen. "Do you...do you need a place to stay Applebloom?" Fluttershy asked through her sniffles.
"Can I stay with you?" Applebloom perked up.
"Yes you can, as long as it takes to sort this out." Rainbow Dash replied.
"I would like that, but I don't want to be a burden." Applebloom was telling the truth. After what happened she didn't want to be a bother to anypony.
"You won't be, if you want to stay with us then you are welcome to." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah kid, the door will always be open to you." Rainbow Dash added.
"Can Sweetie Bell visit?" Applebloom asked. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy nodded. Applebloom ran over to hug her saviors. "Thank you so much."
Fluttershy looked to Rarity who was trying to comfort her sister. "We can talk about the wedding some other time if you like Rarity."
"Thank you Fluttershy, maybe you can come back in a couple of days." Rarity suggested as she continued to calm Sweetie Bell down.
Applebloom walked over to Sweetie Bell and gave her a peck on the lips. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity all almost lost it at how cute the two of them were.
"We have to go now, hopefully next time there won't almost be a fight." Rainbow Dash said as she opened the door. Rarity nodded and smiled. Rainbow Dash held the door for Applebloom and Fluttershy before exiting herself.
"Just stay close to us." Fluttershy said in an almost motherly tone.
"Chill out Shy, she's a big girl." Rainbow Dash replied as she looked to Applebloom. "Isn't that right kid?" Rainbow Dash said playfully as she stroked the filly's mane. They all giggled and began walking towards Fluttershy's cottage. Dash allowed Applebloom to walk ahead of her and Shy so she could say something to her bride to be. "Who would have thought we would already be taking care of a kid." They both smiled at each other and kissed.
"You know, I have a little surprise for you later Dashy, and I think your going to love it." Fluttershy said seductively. Dash blushed and looked at the ground. She knew what Shy meant.
Rainbow Dash lay next to Fluttershy, who had her in a tight embrace, wide awake and unable to go to sleep. She was still in an almost euphoric state as a result of Shy's "surprise". It was the second most amazing feeling she had ever felt. The first was the day she first realized how she felt about her soon to be wife. Dash suddenly realized that her life couldn't get any better. Even her lifelong dream to join the Wonderbolts couldn't compare. She looked down at her sleeping fiancé and nearly shed a tear. I never thought about it until now, but maybe this was my true dream all along. She kissed Shy on the forehead resulting in a little twitch. Dash giggled and continued to let her mind go to various different subjects until her eyes finally started getting heavy. The only sounds that could be heard were Applebloom's light snoring in the next room, and Fluttershy's quiet breathing. These sounds were actually kind of soothing. No longer able to keep her eyes open, Dash finally went to sleep.
Fluttershy was the first to wake in the morning. She looked over to Rainbow Dash before smiling and slowly getting out of bed so she wouldn't wake Dash. She looked at the clock on her wall and realized it was already noon. This didn't bother her, for she had nothing really important to do today. She stretched her body and wings before leaving the room to check on Applebloom. She saw that Applebloom's room was empty so she went downstairs. Sure enough there was Applebloom sitting on the couch staring at the wall. Fluttershy took a seat next to her. "Did you sleep well last night?"
"Yeah." Applebloom replied in a sad and depressed tone.
"What's wrong?" Shy asked even though she was almost sure she knew the answer.
"I...I just miss Granny Smith and Big Mac." Applebloom hung her head low and began to cry.
"What about Applejack?" Fluttershy instantly regreted the question because it just made Applebloom cry harder. Shy hugged the poor little filly and began trying to calm her down. "It's ok, shhhhhh, it's ok I'm sure they miss you too."
"Even Applejack?" Applebloom managed to ask between her sobs.
"Yes, no matter what she will always be your sister, and she is probably crying right now too." Fluttershy hugged her tighter. She knew what it felt like to be shunned for being different.
"I hope so, I just can't believe she would act that way." Applebloom just continued to sob.
"I can't either." Fluttershy couldn't think of anything else to say. That was all that really needed to be said. "Just don't ever let anyone tell you you're different." Applebloom nodded in response. "Is their anything special you wanted to do today?"
"Well, I would like to see Sweetie Bell today." Applebloom said finally looking up.
"How about when Dash wakes up I take you to see her." Fluttershy offered.
Applebloom perked up. "That would be great, thank you." She hugged Shy tighter.
"Oh, it's no trouble at all." Fluttershy sat there with Applebloom talking about different subjects relating to yesterdays events until Dash finally awoke.
Rainbow Dash saw she was alone and began walking downstairs. She saw Applebloom and Fluttershy sitting together just talking. "Good morning." She said, but looked at the clock and corrected her self. "Oops, I mean good afternoon." Fluttershy and Applebloom giggled.
"I'm going to take Applebloom over to Rarity's place to see Sweetie Bell, do you want to come with us?" Fluttershy asked.
"Sure, are we leaving now?" Dash replied.
"Yes, I already promised Applebloom we would go when you woke up." Fluttershy said hoping Dash wouldn't mind.
"Ok, no problem lets get going." All three of them walked outside and Fluttershy turned around to lock the door behind her. Dash snuck a quick kiss before they began walking. Applebloom saw this and tried to hide her laughter which made Fluttershy blush. Dash just grinned. "Well we should get moving." Dash said. With that they were off.
The walk into town was rather interesting. Every time the three of them passed other ponies they would get looks of anger and worry. At one point Fluttershy said hello to one of them and they just ran like she had a disease. It was obvious Applejack started telling others about her and Dash.
Dash seemed to notice the way everypony was acting as well. "Do you think Applejack said something?" She whispered to Fluttershy.
Shy whispered back, "Yes, but don't say anything right now, not in front of Applebloom."
When they got to town they saw a crowd of ponies surrounding something or somepony. They walked toward the crowd to see what was so interesting. They regretted it when one of the members of the large crowd turned around, saw them, and yelled, "There they are, that's them!"
Rainbow Dash cursed under her breath and took a defensive stance as the crowd moved to face them. Fluttershy tapped Applebloom on the shoulder. "Go to your clubhouse and hide, wait for us ok don't let anyone else in." She whispered. Applebloom nodded and ran. Emerging from the center of the crowd was non other than Applejack with a look on her face that would make anyone a little intimidated.
"It's about time y'all showed up, how about you explain to these folks why my sister is living with ya now!" Applejack shouted in a smug tone.
