My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic The New Member: Season 2

One night at the Golden Oak Library, Jewel and her pokémon were fast asleep. Downstairs, the front door opened and a pokémon walked in. It looked around the library. Thinking it was comfortable it decided to explore. It moved into the kitchen and scanned the area. It saw a small price of cake on the counter. It went over to the counter and crawled up the side and into the counter, next to the cake and it ate it.

Feeling full, it then went upstairs. It saw a door opened and went in. There it saw a Mareep, Rockruff, Silvally and a Spheal all on a mare’s bed. It scurried over to the bed quietly and stopped next to the mare’s head. It layed down and went to sleep.

The next morning, Jewel woke up and yawned. “Good morning, everybody.” she greeted. Her pokémon cried out a greeting. However, Rockruff discovered something that didn’t belong. “Rockruff!”

“Rockruff, What is it?” Jewel asked. Rockruff points next to her and Jewel saw something that looked like a pikachu but it didn’t.

A small Pokémon whose body is almost entirely hidden under a rag. Its beady black eyes are visible through holes in the body of its disguise, and the fringe of an amorphous foot or lower body appears to be visible under the hem of its rag. It also carries a small stick resembling a lightning bolt to create a tail for its costume.

“Woah, A Mimikyu!” Jewel cried. “What are you doing here.”

“Mimikyu, Mimi.” It replied.

“You wanted a place to sleep for the night.” Jewel translated. Mimikyu nodded. “Well, I can’t say no to a cutie like you.” Her pokémon were too keen on it being ‘cute’.

“Come on let’s show you to my friends.” Jewle suggested. Her pokémon sweat dropped. Her friends aren’t going to like this pokémon.

Meanwhile, Lightning and all twelve of his friends were at New Canterlot, including Cadence, Shining Armor, Mykan and Midnight. “As you know, the Alpha Gang wants Jewel’s dinosaurs. However, the reason for that is still unknown.” Grand Ruler said.

“Yes, Master. Now we’ve got find the rest of the dinosaur cards before the Alpha Gang does.” Lighting added.

“Indeed.”

“But how will we know where the cards are?” Buddy asked.

“Well, when that Megaraptor appeared, Jewel’s Animal Staff detected it and showed us where it appeared.” Mykan pointed out.

“So the staff is able to detect the dinosaurs when they appeared?” Artie asked.

“I guess.” Mykan replied.

“If that’s the case, then we will have to rely on the staff to tell us where the dinosaurs appear.” Celestia stated. Everybody agreed with their Queen.

“Hey, Where’s Jewel?” Midnight said.
“She should have been here by now.”

“Hey guys.” The gang heard Jewel call and saw her and her pokémon coming into the throne room. “Hey Jewel, how come you’re late?” Midnight asked.

Suddenly, everybody heard scary noises. “What’s that?” Everybody looked down and saw Mimikyu. It creaked. And everybody screamed bloody murder, even their majesties.

“JEWEL, WHAT IN UNITED EQUESTIA IS THAT POKÉMON!” Grand Ruler bellowed in fear.

“It my new friend, Mimikyu.” Jewel replied.

Mimkyu creaked again. “It’s not going to hurt you.” Jewel added.

“Yeah, right. Just GET RID OF IT!” Rarity cried. Lightning and Grand Ruler unleashed their Uniforce attscks. Jewel got out of the way and the attacks hit Mimikyu.

“Mimikyu!”

The smoke cleared and too the ponies hope, Mimikyu was unharmed.

“UNIFORCE DIDN’T WORK!” Rainbow cried. Mimikyu creaked and flew towards Lightning and Grand Ruler and used Pkay Rough. The two were completely clobbered by the Mimikyu. They went flying into the wall and they fell to the ground, unconscious.

“IT BEAT THEN WITH ONE MOVE!” Mykan cried.

“That’s strong.” Applejack added.

Celestia step forward. “Alright. My turn.” She fires a beam of magic at Mimikyu. It’s tail was covered in smoky, purple energetic and it grew big. Mimikyu swung around and hit the beam of magic with its tail, deflecting it back at Queen Celestia. She dodged the beam of magic. “It deflected it!” Buddy cried.

Mimikyu then scurried over to Jewel and climbed up her bidy and perched itself on her shoulder.

By then, Lightning and Grand Ruler has regained consciousness. “Uhhh.... my stars.... that thing is powerful.” Grand Ruler groaned as he stood up. “What did that thing do to us?”

“It used Play Rough in you two and then used Wood Hammer to deflect Queen Celestia’s magic.” Jewel explained.

Mimikyu creaked again. “Sooo... What are you going to do with it?” Dyno asked.

“Please tell me you’re not going to keep it.” Myte pleaded.

“Yep. I’m keeping it.” Jewel stated.

Everybody anime-style fell to the floor. ”Should have saw that coming.” they all thought.

For the next two days, the ponies tried to get along with Mimikyu with no success. Either Mimikyu kept scaring the pants off of them or it would just ignore them completely, until Jewel came back.

Even their majesties were annoyed by it. It somehow kept showing up in their shower, making them scream bloody murder and it kept following them around. The only ones, beside Jewel, who liked Mimikyu were Castor and Leilani, which boggled everybody.

Finally, the ponies arranged a meeting with Jewel at her home. “Okay, Jewel.” Lightning started. “We’ve called you hear to discuss your Mimikyu friend.” Lightning started.

“Yes, Lightning, What is it?” Jewel asked.

“Jewel, We all know you love Mimikyu, but it keeps scary us and we don’t want something like that around us.”

“Sooo.”

“Sooo, you should release it.”

Jewel gasped. “Release Mimikyu! I can’t do that!”

“Why not?” Pinkie asked.

“He likes me and I like him. I can’t just throw him away.”

“You’ll have to.” Buddy added. “We don’t like him.”

Jewel, not wanting to continue this, got up and ran out of the library, with tears threatening to come out of her eyes. Lighting sighed. “She’ll make the right decision in the end.” Lighting said to everybody. The gang nodded.

The next day, the team was at the palace due to reports of a dinosaur stomping around New Manhattan.

“We have to capture the dinosaur before the Alpha Gang gets to it first.” Grand Ruler assigned.

“Yes sir.” Everybody said. Krysta then noticed that somebody was missing. “Hey! Where’s Jewel?”

“Don’t know, we haven’t seen her since yesterday when she ran out of the library.” Pinkie said.

“Ran out?” Celesto asked. “Why?”

“We told her she had to release that creepy pokémon.” Rainbow explained. “But for some reason she said no.”

Mykan, Krysta, Midnight, Spike and their majesties gasped in shock at the ponies.

“Why would you do something like that?” Mykan asked.

“We didn’t want that pokémon near us.” Buddy said.

“It’s creepy!” Dyno cried.

“Si, very scary.” Myte added. “ I don’t know how Jewel and the twins can deal with that thing.”

“Maybe it’s because they saw something deeper than a scary-looking pokémon.” Midnight said.

“Huh?” Everybody replied.

“Jewel and the twins do look at it, not wig their eyes it with their hearts.” Luna explained. “Meaning they do not care what Mimikyu looks like, they only care about it contents.”

“And it sounds like you all were too busy looking at the cover to notice the contents of Mimikyu.” Celestia added, sounding disappointed.

After their majesties finished, the ponies felt bad a silly for the way they acted. They judged Mimikyu too quickly to get to know it more, unlike Jewel and the royal twins.

Their majesties felt good that they’ve learned their lesson. “Now I believe you owe someone an apology.” Mykan said.

"But first, you have to go and catch the dinosaur before it hurts somebody." Celestia said. The ponies nodded and Kyrsta teleported all of them to New Manhattan. Ponies were running through the streets, screaming in terror. the team saw the dinosaur casually walking down the street; it was a purple ceratopsian dinosaur, but it had two horns on it's frill and a curved horn on it's nose.

"What is that thing?" Rainbow asked.

"Don't know, but we have to catch it." Lightning said. "Let's go." They rushed towards the dinosaur, which saw them and roared in fear. It turned away and ran down the street. "After it!" The team chased the dinosaur into a meadow. The dinosaur, knowing it was trapped , turned towards the ponies. "Now, let's get it." Lightning stated.

The team transformed.

"STARFLEET MAGIC!"

"HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!"

The dinosaur roared and charged the ponies. They leaped out of the way. Artie and Rhymey attacked from the right...

"PAINT BOMB"

"DRILL QUILL"

And Starla and Buddy attacked from the left...

"STAR SHOWER

"LEAF SWARM"

The dinosaur roared and swung it's tail at the ponies. They flew out of range. "Now let's turn it back into a card." Lightning stated. Everybody agreed and powered up their finishers. Suddenly, Terry came out of nowhere and knocked the dinosaur onto it's side. "Well, take that dinosaur, thank you very much." Ursula said.

"Oh, no you don't!" The ponies looked and saw Jewel and Mimikyu. DINO-SLASH PENTACAERATOPS ROAR!"

Blitz roared and charged into Terry, knocking him away from the dinosaur. "Jewel! You came!" Pinkie cried.

"Of course. I never leave my friends hanging." Jewel said. "Now, Blitz, get rid of the T-Rex." Blitz roared and charged Terry. Terry stopped him with his body, but Blitz used it's back legs to actually push Terry onto his side. The Alpha Gang screamed. "Terry, get back in there! Come on, finish it!" Ursula cried. Terry got back up and roared. He charged again but Blitz swung her tail, she hit one of Terry's legs, making him fall over.

"Now buddy!" Jewel took out a move card. "THUNDER BAZOOKA!"

(It went like this)

Terry roared as he went flying back. He skidded across the ground and turned back into a card. "I got you Terry!" Ed cried as he dashed over and picked up the card. The Alpha Gang then retreated. Blitz roared in victory and turned towards the dinosaur. It roared and glowed yellow and turned back into a card. Jewel walked over and picked up the card. "Got you."

Lightning coughed and Jewel turned towards her friends. "Jewel, we wanted to say.. we're sorry for judging Mimikyu so quickly. We didn't realize how selfish we were being until now. Can you ever forgive us?"

Jewel smiled. "I forgive you." she said. The gang sighed in relief. "Now how about we add this Einosaurus to our dinosaur family?"

"YEAH!" Everybody cheered. Kyrsta teleported the ponies and Mimikyu back to New Canterlot to give a battle and friendship report to their majesties.

Even thougha creature looks scary on the outside, you shouldn't judge them so quickly. It's the context of the creature that counts. If you look pass the looks, you can discover a whole new friends of pokemon underneath.

In our next episode; The ponies decide to give Jewel's pokemon some training for future battles. While they battle, they will discover that Jewel's friendships with her pokemon run much deeper than just friends.
