You don't know what you are, who you are, or even why you're here. You stumbled through the open plains until you passed out at the edge of a place called Ponyville. The Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle, took you in. She asked you if you could help her with something. She took you to a place called the Time Nest. This place was where the history of Equestria was kept. She explains that the history of this place is in danger, somebody is making changes in history. She recruits you into what she calls the Time Patrol. You believe that cooperating with her may reveal your lost memories, so you agree to help her protect history.
