Crab Cakes & Flashes
Chapter 3 "Forgiveness of Forgetfulness"
Previous ChapterNext ChapterBack with Crab Cakes, he was out at the front of the house washing his car when he heard one park.
"Crab Cakes! I cam to say you were right!" went Flash's voice
Crab Cakes then turned around to see Flash coming towards him with a sad look.
"Excuse me?" Crab Cakes asked, "Did I-"
"Look. I know you made it clear you never wanted to see me again. But I just wanted to tell you... you were right about them."
"What?"
"I began to think on what you said. Then reflected on what the girls told me and all they did. And you know what? You were right."
"How so?" Crab Cakes asked as he laid the sponge down into the bucket
However, unknown to the duo as Flash began to tell Crab Cakes what he told the Rainbooms, the Rainbooms themselves were listening in on their conversation through Sunset's phone because Flash had accidentally but dialed while driving to Crab Cake's house.
"Jesus Christ. I heard the rumors... but..."
"Yeah. That's what their delusion that friendship is gonna solve all problems has brought done."
"Does anyone else know about this?!"
"As far as I know? No."
"You can't just let this sit idly by! You need to let those at CHS know about this!"
"How?!"
"I don't know at the moment. But I'll think of something."
"What are you talking about?"
"Flash, we need to work together on this. I... I'm sorry for yelling at you and saying what I did. You-"
"It's not my fault. I know. I showed up at a REAL bad time and let my anger do my actions. I should've waited for both it and the tension made because of what you said to the Rainbooms to die down before coming to you."
"Hey, no hard feelings though am I right?" Crab Cakes asked holding out his hand
"Yeah." Flash smiled as he shook it, "No hard feelings."
Sunset had then turned off the call and phone... Back with Crab and Flash, the duo went their separate ways knowing there was no longer any bad blood between them and could build a new friendship with the foundation of one thing. Exposing the Rainbooms for who they truly were.
