Captured Heart

The day after Rarity met Meadow she had kept up her promise to meet her for coffee which was why she was sitting in the local coffee shop sipping some already, she worried that Meadow wasn't coming even if Meadow promised her she would show up. She looked around to see if Meadow was going to arrive.

After a few minutes of waiting Meadow kept her word and met Rarity she sat down and ordered black coffee as she opened the discussion with Rarity as she had so much to ask Rarity.

"So Rarity do you enjoy doing the thing that you do? Carousal Boutique must be hard work and I'm surprised you still keep up with it. How you manage to do that is beyond me I could never do something like." Meadow said. Rarity smiled as she was flattered.

"Yes I do enjoy it, it gives me something to keep me busy plus it's always been my natural talent aside from be a bearer of an element of harmony, it's not hard to keep up with, i sort everything I work with. I'm pretty sure if you gave something like that a chance you could be successful." Rarity said with a smile. Meadow smiled back at her. Rarity loved her smile.

"I'm glad you enjoy the work that you do and I'm sorry but even if i tried I couldn't but thanks for saying that anyway as that does make me happy that you think that." Meadow asked as she took a sip of her coffee, Rarity also took a sip of her coffee and set down again. Meadow also set down her coffee.

"Do you have a huge workload every single day Rarity or are some days easier than others and you get to take more breaks on some days but not others where you have to work?" Meadow asked.

"No I don't have a huge workload everyday but once in a while I do . It depends on how many orders I get that I have to work on. What about Meadow what do you do and where do you live?" Rarity asked her.

"I live in Ponyville and I'm an accountant. I'm busy every week in fact I'm going to have to go to work today but not right now. I live by myself and I'm a hard worker. I always try to work as the best that I can." Meadow said. Rarity smiled.

"That's great that you do that type of job. I'm sorry if I'm keeping you from doing your job today. Do you want to leave here early and get to your job or do you want to stay here and talk to me more?" Rarity asked.

"I don't have to go yet. I still have some time to talk to you. So Rarity are you married to any good looking stallion in your area?" Meadow asked, Rarity shook her head.

"Absolutely not. I've been single all my adult life plus I'm not attracted to stallions so that makes it impossible to look for the right stallion as I don't want to." Rarity said. Meadow responded.

"So your gay?" Meadow asked, Rarity sipped her coffee and nodded at Meadow. Meadow smiled.

"Oh yes, I want to be with a mare that knows how to love me back when I love them. I want a mare to care for me as I care for them. I've always been attracted to mares and I was lucky that my parents were so opened minded as they still loved me even if I was gay. How about you?" Rarity asked.

"Same. I'm gay to but I don't make a big deal out of it besides there's not many stallions to choose from anyway, some are dumb and unattractive and others are attractive but are complete jerks." Meadow said. Rarity nodded in agreement.

"I've meet stallions who are jerks so I've stayed far away from them, my family and my friends know about my sexuality and they don't mind it at all. Do your friends and family mind your sexuality?" Rarity asked.

"Not really no. It's not a big deal it's just the way I am, I can't help the way I am after finding out the way that I am. Your friends don't mind yours either as it's the way you are. What are some of your hobbies Rarity?" Meadow said. Rarity nodded in agreement.

"That's right Meadow. Well I have a bunch of hobbies, making dresses is one of them but I also love to read about fashion in any magazine or book that I find and even if my friend Twilight likes to read more books then I do I like to read some books about fashion from time to time. What's your favorite hobby? What do you like to do for fun Meadow?" Rarity asked.

"I like classical music so I go to orchestra showings a lot, I also like art. What can I say I have good tastes and so do you." Meadow said as she took another sip of her coffee.

"Ah thanks Meadow. I truly appreciate that you are interested in knowing about me." Rarity said, she finished speaking so she could take another sip of her coffee as well as she was really thirsty. The coffee was really good. She finished and put it down. Soon before the knew it it was time for Rarity to begin work.

"I have to get going Meadow I hope you understand, thanks for talking to me. I'll try to meet you again. Maybe we can get together sometime and just hang out." Rarity said. Meadow smiled.

"I want to meet you again two days from now at Ponyville park Rarity. If that would be okay with you." Meadow asked, Rarity smiled as she knew that she would be more than okay with that as she would love that.

"Of coarse that's okay with me. I would love to hang out with you more. I'll be there what time do you want to meet there?" Rarity asked. Meadow stared at her.

"In the afternoon when after the sun drops from its highest point." Meadow said. Rarity smiled at Meadow she couldn't wait to meet Meadow.

"I'll be there." See you soon Meadow." Rarity said as she patter her on the shoulder she was so glad she could talk to a Meadow again as Meadow was always a pleasure to talk to she was very interesting to have a conversation with. She loved how eager Meadow was to talk to her as she found it cute.

"Good, I can't wait to see you there. Goodbye Rarity." Meadow said and Rarity left the diner and went home as Meadow went home as well as they both couldn't wait to see each other again.
