Chapter 1, A Story Begins Anew

It was an extremely peaceful day in Ponyville, the birds were chirping, the sun up high, the day just seemed immortal as Celestia’s sun was brought over the sky. Twilight and her friends had finished enjoying a nice picnic out in a field near the Whitetail Woods. Soon after returning home in the late evening, each of them saw notes pinned on each of their doors, telling them to either go to Twilight’s castle or to wait at that castle for the mysterious note leaver’s instructions. Soon, everypony was at the castle, each and every pony to wonder what was going on. “Who could have left that message?” Starlight wondered, her brow furrowed in thought, Rainbow snorted. “Somepony who wanted to pull a prank on us, I hate pranks being pulled on me which are unfunny.” She stated, ready to kick someponys’ flank if this was all a prank. Suddenly, a voice called out to them. “Oh, I assure you, this is not.”
Everypony present, including Spike, jumped at the voice’s presence. “Who’s there?! Come out or we’ll make you!” Twilight called out in fright, not certain if she just ticked off whoever the voice was. The answer came from a being materializing in front of them, taller than all of them combined, easily at 8’10, if it wasn’t for Twilight’s castle having over 11 feet high ceilings, he might have hit his head or something. He had Purple skin, as well as a mop of short silver hair, his clothing was pure black and red, his robes had a belt with a symbol on the buckle that no one recognized. His muscles were top notch, absolute perfection as one would say, his eyes were a bold, candy apple red, he seemed to carry no weapons on him at all, but he looked like a capable fighter. “Who are you?” Fluttershy asked, scared beyond recognition, the being smiled a gentle smile and said: “There is no need to fear me Fluttershy, I am no villain.” His voice was deep yet as smooth as silk, fine tuned to absolute perfection as if it were an instrument in a symphony. “Okay, so you’re no villain, whatever, now, who are you, how do you know her name and what are you doing around these parts!?” Rainbow demanded, getting in the being’s face, pointing a hoof at him.
“My name is Korosa; I am one of the many Supreme Kai of this entire multiverse. How I know you is that I have observed you for a while. As for how I know all of you? Well I’ve been watching you for a very long time. Lastly, what am I doing here? Well, I’ve come to recruit you to help save the universe itself.” He stated as though he was under an interrogation, Rainbow Dash looked at him as though he were insane. “What in the name of Equestria is a Supreme Kai?!” She demanded, the self proclaimed Kai sighed. “Let me explain, the Supreme Kai is basically a god of creation, whatever simply is I am responsible for its creation.” Twilight for a second was mesmerized by the being’s claim. “You must hold a lot of power then.” She assumed to the Kai who nodded in confirmation. “Indeed, now what I’m asking of you is to save the entire universe as a whole, this is far bigger than Equestria, far bigger than Equiss as a whole, even bigger than your entire solar system. There are several villains and evils you must face, several challenges you must overcome. I know you have the power to change people, both good and bad to the best of their personalities, I have already spoken to Celestia and explained what I am telling you now, and I explained the risks of death, loss of limbs or even torture. She understands and wishes to help me, along the way, I have also gotten the pleasure of help from several humans called the Sailor Senshi, and they will help you in defending the universe with your priority; the Z-Fighters. They will aid you in your journey, when you complete said journey; you will all be allowed to go home and return to your lives. There may be a shock when you reach my home however, I have a few… enemies of yours that I may or may not have brought there.” Each of the equines eyes widened. “You don’t mean…?” Twilight started but never finished. “Indeed.” Said Korosa, he was in some shame in having to use such beings.
“I have managed to acquire Nightmare Moon, King Sombra, Chrysalis and Tirek, I told them that if they played along with you for a few years that they would gain their freedom as well as my support. What I didn’t tell them however was that I would contain them for all eternity if they did not change their evil ways like Discord did. However, if they do indeed change assisting you on your many travels, I will allow having them set free. This time permanently.” The equines felt a little safer with this knowledge, but were still rather uneasy. “How do you know that they’ll behave?” Rarity asked, curious as to how he could do it. “Because I hold a secretive link between them, I’ll know whether or not they’ll behave, and what happens to them. Do you accept to help me in the defense of the whole universe?” He asked, somewhat doubtful that they would accept. “What do you think?” Twilight asked every one of the Equines and young drake there, unsure whether or not they’d say yes. Surprisingly all of them said yes, even Fluttershy. Twilight then turned back to Korosa with a determined expression. “How do we begin?” She asked, more determined than she’d ever been in her life. Korosa cleared his throat. “Well, your current bodies aren’t capable of getting to the amount of power to even compare to what you will face. You will require new bodies in order to contain the power that you have to contain.” They all nodded in understanding, a little scared as shown by their faces in a couple of worried expressions. Korosa then motioned them to come towards him.
“Now, we’d best get a move on. I’ll teleport us to the location we need to go.” Applejack looked up at him in confusion. “Where do we have to go to?” She asked in her moment of confusion. “My home, there we’ll have all you need.” He then waved his hand and there was a bright light, and suddenly they were right in front of the biggest mansion they’d ever seen and one of the best too. It was at least as big as 400ft across, 200ft long and 300ft high with 3 floors, all surrounded by plants of various, beautiful kinds. In her state of shock, Rarity almost fainted at how the mansion looked. “OH… my… goodness! That is the most exquisite mansion I’ve ever seen! Where did you get such an amazing and dare I say, perfect building from!?” She demanded, her eyes gleaming. “When you become a Supreme Kai like I did, you get a lot of benefits. Enough about my humble abode, let’s go inside.” Korosa then led them inside and told them to at least wipe their hooves/feet on the opening rug and soon led them through the building, he then led them into a room filled with several pieces of advanced equipment and they saw 11 humans conversing with the enemies that the equines had faced in the past, a fully restored Nightmare Moon, a fully healed Sombra, an extremely well looking Chrysalis and a rather buff looking Tirek. “Oh, it’s you…” Nightmare Moon growled as soon as she saw the Elements of Harmony enter the room along with Spike and Starlight. “I hope you realize young drake, that I haven’t forgiven you for defeating me.” Sombra spat as Spike walked past him, who was glaring at the so called master of darkness. “Alright, everyone settle down, if you fight now, I will send you back into the states which I found you!” The villains snarled but kept themselves in check, Tirek especially. One of the Sailor Scouts stepped forward and introduced herself. “Hello, my name is Usagi, also known as Sailor Moon, defender of love and justice!” Rainbow gagged at Usagi’s introduction. “God, that’s just cheesy!” Usagi frowned. “What’s wrong with it?” She asked, Rainbow simply said: “The whole ‘defender of love and justice’ thing, it’s just so… cliché that I can’t help but not like it.” After that minor scuffle, the rest of the Sailor Scouts introduced themselves including Tuxedo Mask who wasn’t an official Sailor Scout, but he came along mostly out of the fact that if he didn’t the whole universe could be in far more danger than it would be without him.
Soon after getting acquainted, sharing various stories of each of their adventures and having a glass/mug/cup of their favorite drinks together, Korosa soon brought their complete and undivided attention unto him and began to explain in every single detail about their mission; They were to help a group that was called the Z-Fighters by heading to Earth (Z-Earth as they nicknamed it) while the group was still in its infancy as well as it being a few years after the world tournament where the defeat of Piccolo Jr took place. Once there, they would get to know a Saiyan warrior named Kakarot, fight alongside him, train with him and if necessary, die with him. “There is however, a complication. The amount of power you have right now does not even compare to the threats that you will face. I do however, have several bodily conversion chambers that can change your very bodily structure and alter your abilities to the point of almost being a second nature to you.” Fluttershy raised her hoof nervously and asked what was on everyone's mind. “Um… Korosa, will the process, um… hurt?” Everyone else nodded in agreement with the question Korosa smiled. “No, when it happens, you will be unconscious, but first, you’ll have to design on how you’ll look when it is done.” Nightmare moon stepped forward in front of the Supreme Kai and asked: “Will we be able to make our coats or skin black?” The god shook his head. “No, I cannot do that unless you become an Arcosian, an Alien of some kind or a Majin. Same goes for eye color in the case of Saiyans who always had a black eye color. I can make your hair a different color than black though if you choose Saiyans or Humans however.” Tirek snorted. “Whatever, let’s get creative then.” He said, wanting to get it over with quickly, everyone else replied in various degrees of agreement.
The Sailor Scouts, Mane 6 (Starlight included), Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis chose Saiyan due to their potential for high power. Spike and Tirek chose the Arcosian race for their high power from the start and Sombra chose the Majin mostly for its absorption properties and it’s near indestructible body parts which could be stretched or even ripped apart with no negative effects. Strangely, Tuxedo Mask was the only one to choose a human. What were his reasons for it? Since he saw what humans like Tien or Krillin could take or accomplish, he figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. Each one of them also created the clothes for their new forms, the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo mask recreated their clothes to be very similar to the original ones except resized and redesigned with how the new forms were built and how tall they were. Twilight just made her and her friends a close second to the clothes that she saw their human counterparts wear in the human world (*cough cough* Equestria Girls Movies *cough cough*). Nightmare Moon along with Tirek and Chrysalis made clothing very similar to their own attire, Nightmare Moon modified her armor to fit on her new body with a few added parts, Chrysalis created a mix of a dress and battle armor, Sombra made his own armor fit his new body and Tirek went with simply a black undershirt as well as black leather pants with a hole for his tail as well as a belt that had a Skull on the buckle. Everyone also read every little thing on these new forms, how they walked, what they ate (The ones that could eat meat freaked the equestrian inhabitants out slightly), how long they slept and what they could take in terms of damage, nothing on their anatomy, their internal organs, what they could do or on precisely how much they ate. All the texts said was either ‘very little’, ‘very much’, ‘none at all’ or ‘it depends on the person’. For the Saiyans, it said ‘50x that of a human’s normal intake’ to which a few eyebrows were raised, but they simply shrugged it off.
They read through each and every text on every single subject on each species about 6 times each (16 for Twilight and Starlight) and after consideration, went through with the process. “We’ve made our selections and we’re ready.” Twilight informed the Kai, he nodded solemnly. “Very well, we will begin immediately.” He said before he motioned towards a set of 22 chambers, tubular shaped and simplistic in design. “Step into the pods, I may be a Supreme Kai of Creation, but I am not allowed to use my power to alter what already is, this rule does not apply to inanimate objects or anyone below the status of any kind of Kai or God.” They all nodded and lay on their sides or backs in the appropriately sized pods made specifically for each one of them. It took a while but they were all asleep, helped to be kept that way by the pod’s sleep enhancement function. While they were sleeping, their bodies gave off a soft glow; soon their bodies began to morph and change quickly. The Sailor Scouts weren’t too different form their original forms aside from body size, muscle density and height along with gaining tails. The ponies’ bodies went under major changes, such as their legs’ shape, gaining height, muscle mass and many humanoid features like the hands and feet with elongated torsos, tails becoming either monkey-like or reptilian or just plain gone in the case of Sombra, where Majins didn’t have tails at all, unless you count the tentacles on the back of their heads. The changes were completed at roughly 7:00 AM, literally a few hours before all of them woke up. The Pods also automatically put their desired clothing on them before they could wake up. (BTW, the interface they used was a lot like the Xenoverse 1 and 2 Character Creation menus)
A few hours later; 9 AM, Supreme Kai’s mansion
Morning came quickly for everyone in the pods, no one knew what to expect to how their reactions to each other would be at all. Twilight’s pod opened up as she stretched and yawned cutely, her new appendages grabbing her attention almost immediately. “Fan-freaking-tastic it’s just like I remember.” She muttered, remembering her time as a human at Canterlot high in another world. She then felt something moving behind her, she turned her head and saw her Saiyan tail waving behind her absent mindedly. “At least I still have a tail.” She said to herself before she heard pods open one after another, she looked and saw everyone else, each different in their own way, step slowly out of their pods, each more different than the last. The Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask weren't that different from their original forms, much like how they designed them, aside from the fact that they were jacked! The other Elements of Harmony were just like their human counterparts in appearance aside from Skin coloration and their muscle density, as well as their Saiyan tails. The Villains were the same way, they all were humanoid and they also had their clothes modified for their own bodies, meticulously crafted by the fabricators and made to last. Nightmare Moon’s crystal blue armor had been heavily modified as per her instructions, new leg as well as knee, shin, forearm, elbow, upper arm, shoulders and chest all had brand new pieces of armor upon them, the boots brilliantly a mix of dress stilettos and armor. Chrysalis had taken that, turned it black and mixed it with a black dress that didn’t constrict any movement at all, their crowns resting on their heads, modified to remain on their heads in their new state. Sombra was definitely the strangest, he was completely black aside from his eyes’ irises, of which glowed a bright red and his silver armor looked ominously like a part of him! He had a tentacle jutting out of the back off his head; as per Majin standard. Spike and Tirek were definitely the shortest, but that didn’t stop either of them form looking intimidating, Tirek was a red Arcosian in it’s True/Final Form with black bio-gems on his head, shoulders and chest, his muscles were large, but not grotesque at all, there were also red lines going from his eyes to the base of his neck as well as the nails on his fingers all the way to his shoulders. Spike was a mostly purple Arcosian in its restrained 1st Form, a small amount of white on his shoulders, legs and head, his bio-gems were a grass-like green, two black horns protruding from the left and right sides of his head at 45 degree angles, his tail, arms and a large part of his legs were a bright pink, offsetting yet somewhat natural for someone of an Arcosian species. “Holy hay, do we look good or what?” Rainbow asked out of the blue, breaking the silence that had lasted for a full minute. “I… suppose. It’s not my ideal body structure but it’s still different in a good way.” Said Rarity, wondering why she agreed to have her body changed into this oddity. Although she had to admit, the outfit she was wearing was superb.
“Ah, it’s done then.” Korosa said as he walked in the room. “Now, the next step is to get used to your bodies. This does of course mean that you have to step outside of your comfort zones for a bit, but I’m certain that you will be able to do it.” Everyone nodded, all of them knew what was laid ahead of them; they were to train their bodies to be able to use Ki, the very energy inside every living being, even in other worlds. There was also the issue of actually consuming meat of any kind; the Equestrians in particular were disturbed by it, as their original diet had always consisted of everything that grew from the ground and liquids. And finally, there was being humanoid in general, aside from the Sailor Scouts and Spike, no one who was converted had ever stood on just two legs for extended periods of time. Soon after, the training on being humanoid began. Twilight adjusted easily, having gone to an alternate dimension a second time about a few months ago, the things she had learned there had helped her greatly, and she even helped the others adjust as well. Her Ki control was unparalleled, the amount of Ki she could compress in a small space was incredible as she found that it behaved similarly to Magic, her physical attacks were middle ground and could be better but couldn’t be worse. Rarity tried taking it slow at first, trying to modify her step into something more compatible with her new body, she eventually got it down and grew into the Saiyan that Korosa wanted her to be. Her Ki control was still under development and was definitely something that could be improved; her physical attacks were middle ground as well. Applejack was stubborn, accepting no one’s help at first, wanting to do things on her own, after several hundred falls down stairs, ledges and various high places that many a person would rather not mention, she decided that she would let the others help her, as to save her from a possible injury that she may never recover from. Her punches were powerful, but her kicks were without a doubt the strongest anyone had ever seen; one kick could take just about anyone’s head clean off. Pinkie Pie seemed to get a few things right off the bat, like how to walk properly, how to use utensils (which took the other ponies forever to use with their fingers) and even how to fly (SOMEHOW!). Regardless, there were a few things that she still had to learn despite no one questioning how Pinkie knew the things she did, but it was Pinkie Pie and who knew what she knew? Rainbow Dash was extremely adept at flying, but horrible at walking for the first few weeks, her Ki attacks were powerful compared to a few others and her punches and kicks were top notch. Fluttershy was very apprehensive when she was attacking during various sparring matches at first, but after some training from Korosa himself of which she wouldn’t talk about, she was more fearsome than anyone could expect, when they went and talked to Korosa about it he said that he removed most of her doubts, fears and shyness from her mind in order to unlock her potential, soon after, Fluttershy could pull off any kind of attack without any problems. Spike was one of the strongest, both physically and Ki-wise, though his power was extremely restrained in his 1st form; mostly out of the fact that he likely couldn’t handle his power until an older age. Korosa had realized early on that Spike’s Arcosian form had far more power than the young, and former, drake knew how to handle, even more so than Tirek! Thus he set the pod to automatically put Spike into the restrained 1st form to prevent disaster, at least until he got far better control of his strength. The villain’s sessions weren’t talked about much other than their issues with the heroes. Nightmare Moon was extremely adept at Ki attacks, having been an Alicorn that could control the moon gave her an extremely large head start in terms of Ki control, her physical strength was also something impressive. Sombra was the same way, his ferociousness however, caught several of them off guard, and Sombra would even make attempts on the Mane 6’s lives, Spike especially, for each having a hand in his defeat. Each time it got completely out of hand, Korosa almost immediately put a stop to it, and by stop, one could instead mean; 'hit the back of Sombra’s neck so hard that he would pass out', that kind of stop. Eventually his attempts on the former pony’s lives ceased, at least after he realized that he would never succeed with Korosa around. Chrysalis was forced to become used to open and solo combat, it was slow at first, but each day she grew more and more accustomed to fighting on her own. Tirek’s was ridiculous; his attacks were sloppy at first, any kind, due to not being used to the kind of body he was in. Thankfully, after the first week, he managed to gain control, his progress was quicker from then on out. The Sailor Senshi had their long drawn out poses and attack naming removed from their fighting style altogether, their physical attacks were improved greatly and much to their dismay, their speeches were not allowed... at all. The Sailor’s gear however, was left untouched, such as Mercury’s visor and Saturn’s Silence Glaive. The villains eventually warmed up to the heroes without even knowing it, they still stated that they wanted to control Equestria for different reasons but deep down, they began to wonder if it was worth it all. However, the most chaotic part was the first time those who became Saiyans got their first meals. Though they had been warned by the information tab in the creation menu that a Saiyans’ typical apatite was 50x that of a Human’s, they were rather oblivious to it. “What’s going on? I barely feel as though I’ve eaten anything!” Nightmare Moon demanded as she pulled more food from various places across the long table to her before chowing down. “I don’t know, I do however, believe it has something to do with a Saiyans’ apatite being 50x greater than a Human’s.” Twilight mused, still chewing on a burger she had taken from a pile. “Aw, who cares?” Rainbow Dash wondered, taking all sorts of foods all over and continuing to feast. “This is the best stuff I’ve ever tasted! Right gang?” The other Saiyans cheered in agreement as Nightmare moon and Twilight looked at each other and shrugged, resuming their feast. The best relationship between villain and hero so far had been between Nightmare Moon and Twilight Sparkle and neither knew why, Twilight believed that it was because she was reminded of Luna and Nightmare Moon chalked it up to the large amount of respect that she had been receiving from Twilight, they always knew when to leave each other alone when need be, they always had each other to talk to and they had similar likes and dislikes. Sombra, Tirek, Spike and Tuxedo Mask looked on in shock, having finished their meals long ago, watching the Saiyans continue to gorge themselves. “Where in Tartarus do they put all that?” Tirek demanded quietly, not seeing any stomach expand or any Saiyan look full at all. “I don’t know, but at least we know that they have healthy appetites right?” Spike asked as he chuckled nervously. Sombra shrugged. “I suppose, let’s wait for them to finish alright?” The other Non-Saiyans nodded in agreement, later that day, all the Saiyans finally were full, but not before they had pretty much cleared out Korosa’s pantry, to which he didn’t mind at all, with a snap of his fingers, the pantry restocked itself. Soon after, everyone resumed their training, preparing for the trials that awaited them.
5 Months later, 8:00 PM
The trainees were gathered in the main rec-room of Korosa’s Mansion, each of them eager to ready themselves for whatever the Supreme Kai brought them for. Once he entered the room, he let silence fall for a moment and then spoke. “I’m certain that you’ve been waiting for your mission to begin eagerly haven’t you?” Everyone perked up at his words. “You mean-?” Rainbow let her question hang in the air, letting the Supreme Kai finish. “Yes, it is time for you to begin.” There were many sighs of relief, cheers or far too many thank you’s thrown his way. Twilight, after her hyperactive yes-fest, cleared her throat and asked; “Are we really ready?” Korosa smiled. “Yes, I have decided that you are ready to help the Z-Fighters, I will tell you now that it will be a long and arduous journey, many lives will be lost, you might even be forced apart, but I know that you might even find love, new friends, rivals and even some fans. I know that you’ll be able to defend earth with your lives.” They all nodded, Korosa then waved his hands and they began to slowly vanish. “When you wake, you will be on earth, if you find Kakarot, tell him that you wish to help him, there will be a threat greater than anyone’s ever seen, greater than anything seen before. I trust you to save Kakarot’s life, take care, may we see each other again, goodbye.” Soon after, the Ponies and Sailor Senshi vanished without a trace. “I pity them for just what they’ll face… oh well, at the very least; I don’t regret my decision at all.” Korosa said to himself, all the while smiling at wondering about all the great things they would accomplish.

Everyone woke up to the sight of a forest, the clean air gracing their noses with unparalleled sweetness of fresh air. “Wow, I gotta admit, this earth has pretty sweet air.” Rainbow admitted. “The plant life here is similar to both Equestria along with the Sailor Scout’s earth isn’t it?” Twilight asked as Mercury nodded in confirmation. “Indeed, even the genetic structures of the plants are very similar to that of both mentioned planets.” She said, her visor displaying said information, Nightmare Moon Rolled her eyes, her mood serious. “Listen, we may not have much time, I’m sensing something approaching the planet, do you not feel it?” She asked as the others nodded. “Let’s split up, we can cover more ground that way.” Twilight suggested as she then turned to a few of her compatriots. “Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Starlight, Outer Senshi, Tirek, Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, you all will check out the energy that’s headed towards the planet while I try to find the Saiyan named Kakarot with the others.” Everyone nodded and flew off with their respective groups.
Kame House, 80 Km away from starting point.
Kakarot had managed to get to Kame House for the reunion that Master Roshi had held specifically for all their friends, Krillin and Bulma among them, surprisingly, Yamcha and Tien hadn’t shown up yet, Yamcha explained that he had a baseball game that day and Tien wanted to train. Kakarot had also brought his son Gohan with him, who he had named after his deceased adoptive grandfather, shocking almost everyone there. Kakarot had told them that he was training Gohan to become a great warrior like him, as he had managed to convince Chichi to let him do it. Kakarot was a very tall man, his hair very wild and spiky, his Black and Gold Armour finely crafted by Saiyan manufacturers, shining brightly in the morning sun, his tail wrapped around his waist like a belt. The armor was meant to be as stretchy as possible while not sacrificing protection; the armor did protect against lower powered Ki-Blasts, but failed against stronger Ki-based attacks. It stretched to almost any size, easily going into Ozaru territory. The armor had two shoulder pads that barely made it to Kakarot’s wrists if he had one of his arms straight out to his side. There were also hip pads that seemed to serve no true purpose. Many often wondered if it could be considered armor from how much it covered at all, the arms and legs were completely exposed and the hands had gauntlets instead of gloves and the boots were the only thing that even was leg related. His own child wore armor of the same kind, aside from being colored yellow and green as per Chichi’s request, it was only complimented by his hat that had the actual Four-Star Dragon Ball on its top, the armor itself having been replicated by Kakarot thanks to all the studying of science and technology in his earlier years of his life on Earth, Gohan’s tail wrapped around the waist area of the armor much like his father. Many years ago, Kakarot had been sent here at the age of only 8, even then he was extremely powerful. Saiyans could only go on such infiltration missions when they turned 8 as per Planet Trade Organization regulations, gaining high levels of knowledge and how to use it, such as mechanics, first aid, battle tactics and more through programming. But before Kakarot could even get the part of the programming which would make him focus on the destruction of all life on Earth and nothing else, Bardock, Kakarot’s father, stopped the programming at the last second. He took the pod that Kakarot was going to be sent to Earth in and sent Kakarot ahead prematurely, based all on a ‘bad feeling’ that he had.
When Kakarot arrived, he merely took in ‘grandpa’ Gohan’s hospitality due to convenience. Over a couple of years with the old man however, Kakarot had actually grown to like Gohan immensely, even going as far as to spend time with him whenever he was completely free. Eventually however, things took a turn for the worse as Gohan contracted a disease commonly found in swamps. Gohan denied every medical treatment offered, saying that it would only delay the inevitable. Gohan died peacefully in his sleep a few days later after diagnosis, Kakarot didn’t quite take it well. Just mere minutes after Gohan’s death, Bulma showed up, looking for Gohan’s prized 4-star Dragon Ball. Their first meeting didn’t quite go so well, they actually had an incident, with Kakarot showing Bulma how futile her attempts of attack were. After the extremely short confrontation, Bulma revealed just what the Dragon Balls were, how they could grant any wish any person wanted, no matter how far off it was, even reviving the dead! Kakarot decided to help Bulma on her quest to get the Dragon Balls out of pure curiosity; encountering beings like Oolong, Yamcha, Puar, a self proclaimed Emperor named Pilaf among many more adventures. One of the more dark adventures were during the days of the Red Ribbon army, which was once the most feared army in the world, absolutely no one could stand up to them. When Kakarot broke into their headquarters, he found several gruesome scenes, mostly of grisly experiments that were performed by the Red Ribbon army. The experiments included possible life after decapitation, limb dismemberment, cybernetic enhancements, mutations and other sights that still haunted Kakarot to this day. Many of these experiments were things that he knew that the Saiyan race wouldn’t dare to attempt. Upon seeing the atrocities that the Red Ribbon army preformed, he immediately went into a rampage, he single-handedly killed every member of the Red Ribbon Army that he could find, and no one was spared.
The darkest time however, was when he faced the infamous Demon King Piccolo; he killed the demon king after several atrocities that included releasing every criminal onto the streets and overthrowing the world’s entire government. That wasn’t the end of his legacy though; Demon King Piccolo managed to spit out an egg after he got his chest blown to bits by Kakarot’s Dragon Fist. The Egg turned out to be Piccolo Jr. He looked almost exactly like Piccolo Sr. aside from looking much younger. Piccolo Jr. revealed himself during the annual 23rd Martial Arts Tournament, where he and Kakarot faced off one final time. Kakarot, knowing that this Piccolo did not commit the same atrocities that the original did, decided to keep him alive by giving him a Senzu Bean. When the others demanded to know why, he simply said that if Piccolo wanted to fight again, Kakarot would gladly defeat him again. His thoughts came to an end when he heard Bulma, the kind and energetic blue-haired woman whom he met all those years ago, speak up. “Hey Kakarot, have you gotten Gohan to use energy attacks yet?” She asked to the spiky haired warrior, Kakarot shook his head. “No, I haven’t moved past basic physical attacks, he is doing better than I thought though.” He explained, his mind wandering off as he leaned back in the fold out chair he was laying down on. He suddenly snapped to attention as he bolted up in surprise. “Holy black on a Popo what’s that?!” He yelled in fright for a brief moment, sensing several power levels that might just exceed his own.
At Kami’s Lookout…
“Hmm?” Mr. Popo hummed as he thought he had heard someone utilize his name in an odd and offensive way.
Back to Kakarot...
“What’s wrong!?” Roshi demanded, wondering what could make someone like Kakarot so afraid. “There’s several power levels headed this way, and they’re all combined larger than mine or even… Krillin’s losing streak!” Kakarot explained, his onyx eyes never leaving the direction that he sensed the power levels coming from. “You know, you guys are the reason I go to therapy!” Krillin pointed out, feeling insulted beyond belief. “What should we do?” Bulma asked, now scared herself. “Take Gohan into Kame house; hunker down as low as you can! Wait until the dust settles. Now go!” Bulma nodded and followed Kakarot’s instructions, she ran to Gohan and explained what was going on, Gohan stated that he wanted to fight as well, but Bulma wouldn’t let him, finally Gohan relented, following Bulma inside, hunkering down as low as both of them possibly get. Kakarot, Krillin and Roshi kept themselves steadfast, never waning. The powers Kakarot felt got closer and closer, Kakarot was able to finally make out the basic shapes of each one, all were humanoid, but the more distinct features were without a doubt the more confusing part of it all. One had the skin coloration of a greenish blue, another was a darker blue that was taller than the first and the last was shorter than the first two and was a very light brown, every one of them had their own custom demon armor, nothing like Demon King Piccolo’s. The tallest had curved spikes on the shoulder pads of the dark blue, almost black armor, a red cape flowing behind him. The one in the middle had a similar shoulder pad design, but the rest of the armor was covered by a Roman-style Toga, of which complimented his silver hair, a golden necklace with a beautiful red gem in its center. The shortest was the simplest in design, no spikes or additional clothing, his own cape was burgundy in color, swishing behind him in the wind as he and his compatriots floated above each of the frightened Z-Fighters.
149 KM away on the mainland, with Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Starlight, Outer Senshi, Tirek, Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis…
“Who do you think this is?” Sailor Uranus asked, flying alongside her compatriots. “I’m not certain; we’ll have to get closer, though it feels similar to a Saiyan’s energy.” Starlight replied as they neared the immense power. Once they reached the site that the power was going to be, they hid their power levels and hid within the bushes, upon the plateau near them, they saw him. The self-proclaimed Demon King of the world, his cape swishing behind him in the wind dramatically, was Piccolo Jr. He looked the part of a Demon king according to the heroes, his ears were long and pointy, his eyes could be described only as black dots on white paper, his shirt had the demon symbol on it, he was also wearing a turban that fit snugly on his head, the most odd thing about him was his green skin, the more muscled parts of his body were highlighted in pink details, as though one were peering into the inner workings of a body. His feet were contained in Demon boots that didn’t look exactly comfortable. They didn’t know what he was doing, as he was just standing there. “What’s he doing?” Starlight asked, curious as to what the Demon King could be so focused on. Suddenly, an even larger power appeared out of nowhere, surprising even the Demon King, they all turned to look at the source, a man floating midair, a Scouter on his left eye, extremely long and bushy hair and wearing armor that was colored black and brown.
Raditz wasn’t sure as to what he was looking at, seeing the beings power level at only 322, yet it was one of the more unique life forms that he had encountered. “Hmm… that’s not Kakarot. I think this was just a waste of time! I knew we should have sent Turles instead! That idiot Kakarot likely got himself killed!” He muttered to himself. “Tch, if this is the highest power level, then I think that Kakarot might actually have gotten himself killed after all. Damn it, Kakarot!” He then noticed more power levels heading towards him and the being in front of him, he turned in the general direction that the power levels were and saw that there were several beings headed his way, each one of various skin coloration and bodily design, height and muscle density. “Hey, Mustard, looks like we got a powerful one eh?” One asked, turning to another. “Oh yeah we do, why don’t we rough ‘em up, Salt?” The being, now identified as Mustard, responded to Salt. “Now now, leave some for me, Vinegar.” The third, Vinegar stated harshly as he prepared for combat. Raditz remained silent as he pushed a button on his Scouter and read their power levels, Vinegar had a power level of 676, Salt was higher at 727 and Mustard was at a dismal 506. ‘How odd, their power levels are higher than the last one! Perhaps this might be a fun time after all.’ Raditz thought as he prepared himself for battle. In the bushes, the heroes didn’t know what to think. Just who were the real targets anyway? Who would they help? Which one was on the right side? “Who are we fighting for anyway? Those three guys who literally just showed up, the guy with long hair who’s a Saiyan, or the Demon King who wants to take over the world?” Chrysalis demanded quietly, wanting desperately to test her abilities in battle. Nightmare Moon decided to find out. “I’ll be going in closer; I’ll stay low so they won’t notice me. I’ll find out just who to fight.” She then vanished in between branches and twigs as she moved towards the battle.
Raditz was having the time of his life. He was taking these meatheads apart; no one could stand up to him! “You fools might as well give up! I have a power level of over 1200! You can’t get stronger on the fly!” He taunted, dodging a Ki blast from Mustard. “I didn’t want to have to do this, Garlic warned us about it! Hey, boys, looks like we’ll have to actually get serious!” Salt called out as he stopped himself in place. “I agree, let’s waste this guy and get that Dragon Ball!” Vinegar shouted as he too stopped in place, Mustard nodding and doing the same. Soon, they clenched their fists and yelled in exertion as they powered up, Raditz’s Scouter beeping upon them doing so. ‘Their power level is rising!’ He thought as he prepared himself for what was to come, but before the combat could commence, he spoke up. “What’s a Dragon Ball, anyway?” He asked his attackers. Before anyone could stop him, Mustard blurted exactly what a Dragon Ball was. “It’s one of the seven Dragon Balls, if you gather all seven, you can wish for anything you want! Like Immortality!” Raditz smirked. “Well now, that’s interesting, just what are you wishing for anyway?” He asked again, wanting to know more. “We’re using them to grant our master immortality; thus he can rule the whole world with great power and prejudice!” Mustard smirked himself. “Well, there’s nothing you can do to stop us at all anyway, you’re going to die here, seeing as how you’re a potential threat to Garlic Jr.” Suddenly a Ki blast hit Mustard from behind, sending him spinning to the ground, Mustard stopping himself from hitting it just a few meters before. The source was Piccolo, who had listened and watched the whole thing unfold, and the prospect of someone else wanting to rule the world did not sit well with him at all. He had thrown away his Turban and cape, exposing his bald head and two antennae. “No one is ruling this whole world except for me!” He growled at them all, making certain he was heard. Mustard chuckled. “Heheheheh, so the Demon King wants the world too huh?” He raised his arm high, preparing a Ki blast in his open palm. “Well too bad! This world belongs to Garlic Jr.!” He was interrupted again as he was hit again by a Ki blast from behind. “Oh my non-existent god. WHAT NOW?” Mustard demanded as he looked behind him and saw Nightmare Moon right behind him, despite him not knowing who this mysterious female was. “Are all of you only capable of attacking from behind?!” Mustard yelled at her in frustration, still holding his Ki blast in his hand. “Listen here; you’re not using the dragon balls for anything! Got it?!” She yelled, preparing for battle. Soon, everyone else who came with her floated up behind her, all vocalizing various levels of agreement. “What the…?” Raditz mumbled upon seeing the Saiyan tails on some of the heroes. “I thought Vegeta, Nappa, Turles and I were the only survivors of Planet Vegeta’s destruction.” His words went unheard as the clash of powers began. “I propose a temporary truce, once we stop them from getting the Dragon Balls, we’ll talk to each other, sound fair?” Chrysalis demanded to Piccolo and Raditz. “Fine, but know this is only temporary!” Piccolo snarled, readying one of his Ki blasts. Raditz put his own questions aside for the moment and prepared for combat. “Oh well, I’ll ask about it later, after all; no matter how much trash there is…” He began, charging up his signature attack; Double Sunday. “It’s still trash!”
Back with Kakarot…
The fight was going horribly to say the least; Krillin and Roshi were barely managing to hold their own and Kakarot was evenly matched with the middle ground being, who called himself Cinnamon. “I’m surprised this world actually created fighters of your caliber.” Kakarot commented. “If I’d known about it sooner, I would have asked to fight you long ago!” Cinnamon smirked. “Well, thanks for the compliment, but we’ll be taking that Dragon Ball now!” he then, quite literally reached into his own body and pulled out two curved swords, one in each hand. “Let’s see how you handle these bad boys!” Time seemed to slow down between the two as the two swords slashed through the air, making whistling noises as they swung toward their intended target. Kakarot expertly dodged each one; he kept his distance from Cinnamon as well, not letting himself get within 4 feet of the skilled demonic being. Kakarot was however, starting to get annoyed with himself being purely on the defensive. ‘I need an opening, but where could I find something like that?’ He thought, he also noticed several powerful signatures headed his way. ‘They could be the reinforcements for these guys, but their energy feels different somehow!’ Kakarot didn’t have time however as Cinnamon kept wildly hacking and slashing at him constantly, he also noticed that Cinnamon’s strikes were actually rather predictable when compared to other swordsman’s styles that he’d seen. Without warning however, a purple boot rammed itself into the side of Cinnamon’s face, sending him flying off to Kakarot’s left. He turned back to where Cinnamon was and saw… ‘A Female!?’ He thought immediately as he saw her floating right where Cinnamon was. Her hair was all the way down her back, almost to her posterior, her own onyx eyes were dead focused on Cinnamon. Her hair’s color was purple, a single pink highlighting stripe running through it, almost as though it were natural. He then noticed her tail, upon which, he came to a stunning realization. ‘Wait a minute! She’s a Saiyan too? How bizarre, I thought we were all wiped out when our planet blew up!’ He put those thoughts aside for now and focused on Cinnamon once more, who flew and stopped right in front of Kakarot.
“I will slap you with my…!” He began before he stopped upon seeing the newcomer. “Well, well, well, looks like a pretty face has joined the battle. I suggest that if you don’t want to be hurt, then you’d better high-tail it outta here.” He stated, smirking. The girl frowned deeper. “Not a chance, I’ve done my homework; I’m not letting you get that Dragon Ball! I can only deduce that you’re using it for nefarious purposes! I won’t let you or your master gain immortality and harm this world!” She stated bravely, changing her stance into a more battle ready position. “Nor will my friends!” Immediately after she said that, everyone who came with her all lined up beside her, yelling out all types of agreement. Cinnamon’s eyes widened; he couldn’t take all these opponents at once! He had to think of a plan; something he could do to weaken them all! Thankfully, he was spared from taking all of them at once by his teammates calling out to him. “Hey! Cinnamon, we got the Dragon Ball! We can go now!” Ginger called to Cinnamon who once again smirked. “Well, looks like we both get a lucky break! We’ll be seeing you, cause Garlic Jr. will be immortal! Tata!” He said mockingly before flying off with his two compatriots, Pepper carrying something rather familiar in his arms. “Wait a minute! That’s… GOHAN!!!!” Kakarot yelled in a panic as he flew as fast as he could towards the three escaping assailants. “Give my son back or else your insides will be put on the outside!” He demanded, firing off a Buster Cannon, which the three easily dodged. “Not a chance, the kid’s coming with us!” Ginger yelled as he fired a Ki blast back at Kakarot who didn’t react fast enough. The blast slammed into his left arm, which was enough to cause him to spin out, fall unconscious and fall into the ocean. “Come on, we gotta help him!” Sailor Moon shouted to the others as she dived into the ocean where Kakarot had fallen and began to look for him. The salt water stung her eyes as she noticed her friends dive in to help her, she then saw Kakarot’s still falling body, she swam as fast as she could, using Ki to amplify her strokes. Once she got to Kakarot, she wrapped her arms around his torso and kicked hard, sending them both up a few feet, Sailor Moon’s friends help her out with this, Applejack grabbed from behind and helped swim Kakarot to the surface, Spike used his tail to grab Kakarot’s right arm and flew upwards with the others. And finally, Twilight grabbed Kakarot’s left arm and swam upwards in a desperate attempt to get Kakarot some air. Once they broke the waves, they flew up out of the water and carried the unconscious Saiyan to the beach, to which everyone present rushed to his side. Applejack didn’t waste any time, he quite literally pushed the water out of his lungs via punching them individually, it was crude by any medical standards, but effective as water spilled out of Kakarot’s mouth. After a few seconds of this, Kakarot coughed hard, sending saliva and salt water everywhere. Once he got his lungs cleared up, he opened his eyes and saw everyone above him with relieved expressions. “You… you saved me!” He said in some surprise. “That’s shocking how?” Sailor Mars asked with a raised eyebrow. “Well, we just met; I thought you would have left me, considering you’re Saiyans like me.” He replied as Twilight shook her head. “No, we had a different upbringing than normal, while normally Saiyans wouldn’t help one who they don’t know, we on the other had try to be nice to everyone we meet.” She said as she reached with a hand to help Kakarot up, Kakarot himself was, for lack of a better term, astonished; never had he seen Saiyans who would risk their lives like they would. “Well, I’m very grateful for you saving me from that watery grave.” He smiled and grabbed Twilight’s outstretched hand and pulled himself up with her help. “Where’s Bulma, or Roshi or Krillin?” He asked once he stood fully upright. “We’re fine Kakarot.” Krillin said over by Tirek. “Oh, thank Kami.” He sighed in relief, but then he remembered his son. “We still have to get Gohan back!” Bulma smirked. “Not a problem, I still have the Dragon Radar on me, we can use that to track the Dragon Ball on Gohan’s hat like a tracking device!” Kakarot’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. “Then let’s do it!” He almost ordered Bulma who nodded and ran back into Kame House and ran back out, Dragon Radar in hand.
Kakarot, looking as though he were about to blast off on his own at the drop of a hat turned back to the heroes. “I know I’m having trouble saying this but, I need your help to get my son back. I unfortunately can’t do this on my own.” Sailor Venus smiled back at Kakarot. “All you had to do was ask, you know.” She pointed out, making the earth-raised Saiyan exasperated. “I… I don’t know what to say.” He had never seen any Saiyan have such compassion or a willingness to help anyone who either wasn’t part of his/her squad or a family member. “I can’t thank you enough, really, I can’t!” Kakarot stated, Rarity smiled. “Anytime darling, now let’s get a move on.” She stated as everyone who could flew off to potentially meet up with reinforcements.

Kakarot has just gained new allies, for the first time since his childhood, he is now among Saiyans once more, but what he doesn't know, is that they weren't actually Saiyans to begin with, Twilight and everyone else is currently rushing towards Rainbow and the others at great speeds, will Rainbow hold out long enough to stop Garlic Jr.'s minions from getting the Dragon Ball?
