You Would Fight For Us, Would You?

For the first time in months, Rainbow Dash had a good night's sleep.

Rainbow Dash woke up in a daze. She and Fluttershy were naked in her bed.

'Did we just...?' Rainbow Dash thought to herself.

Rainbow Dash cuddled closer to Fluttershy, but didn't get too close. She didn't want to harm Fluttershy in the slightest. She was

'A perfect angel...' Rainbow Dash thought.

It was a day off, luckily. Rainbow Dash tried going back to sleep. It felt great to get rid of a lack of sleep.

Fluttershy groaned as she woke up. She looked to her side to see Rainbow Dash close but distant.

"H-Hey there..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Why, h-hello there Dashie... Are you happy about last night?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yes!.... Are you happy about it?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Fluttershy giggled. "Why of course... Dashie, I'm so happy the past is behind us..." She said, cuddling closer to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash played along, as she wanted to please Fluttershy in every way possible.

"Uh, F-Flutters?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What is it, Dashie?" Fluttershy asked.

"C... Can I... Give you your ring back?" Rainbow Dash asked uneasily. She was afraid that she had put Fluttershy in a state of worry or sorrow.

Fluttershy had forgotten all about the ring she had just thrown away. "Oh! I... I would love that..." Fluttershy said.

Rainbow Dash had leapt out of bed to grab the butterfly ring on the table.

"H-Here you go..." Rainbow Dash said, jumping back into the bed under the covers, handing the ring to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy took the ring and put it on. It was in the same condition as the day she first saw it. She felt guilty. In fact, it made her weep.

"Oh no, Oh my gosh, Fluttershy please don't cry- I didn't mean to make you cry!" Rainbow Dash said in a panic.

"Rainbow Dash... Why are you acting so odd?" Fluttershy asked.

"What? I didn't want you to cry!... That's all...." Rainbow Dash said.

"I have a few questions for you. One, why do you think the Universe thing wasn't an overreaction?" Fluttershy asked.

"Uh... Huh. Hadn't thought of that. I thought you were right because... You know... Uh, you seem to know about it better than me." Rainbow Dash said.

"Okay, why aren't you as assertive as before?" Fluttershy asked.

"W-What? I... I'm assertive!... I just want to make you eternally happy without any sad moments in between!" Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh dear... Dashie, you know that's impossible..." Fluttershy said.

"Nuh-uh... But I kinda messed up right now, I need to try again." Rainbow Dash said.

"Rainbow Dash, we're going to have disagreements and feel bad many times, you just need to use your own head during times like those. You didn't when I clearly overreacted, you just wanted to find a way to make me correct." Fluttershy said.

"So... All of this was..." "A mistake." Fluttershy interrupted.

"I thought you would think I overreacted... I'm sorry." Fluttershy said, tears forming again.

Rainbow Dash wiped the tears and embraced Fluttershy. "We're together again. No need to be sorry. I love you, you know?" She said.

"T-Thank you Dashie... I love you too." Fluttershy said.

"I have a day off from work today... Wanna go out? Or something?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"S-Sure... Uh, what is your job?" Fluttershy asked.

"It's uh... Being an accountant, I didn't even need a degree to get the job." Rainbow Dash said.

"W-Wow... Do you like your job?" Fluttershy asked.

"Not really, but it pays good." Rainbow Dash said.

"D-Do you really want to do the job?... I-I mean, don't you want to be an athlete?" Fluttershy asked.

"Huh... Haven't thought about that... Actually, I haven't done anything athletic in months!... I should get back to it..." Rainbow Dash said.

"I... I can help..." Fluttershy said.

"Can ya?... Can I tell you something?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"What is it?" Fluttershy asked.

"I don't know why... I just feel an... Urge to... Fight. I haven't done any kind of it since the tournament..." Rainbow Dash said.

"Oh... Okay. T-That reminds me... That Goku fellow visited me..." Fluttershy said.

"Did you fight him?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Y-Yeah... But he wasn't very happy that you were nowhere to be seen... Do you need to get back into training?" Fluttershy asked.

"It'd be awesome if you helped me." Rainbow Dash said.

"It'd be an honor... But you don't feel as strong..." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah... I'd say you're even tougher than me. Maybe 3 or 4 times stronger!" Rainbow Dash said, chuckling. "I need to brush up. Heh." She added.

"S-So... What will be in store for the future?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'm... I'm gonna be an athlete! I'm gonna get back into fighting, and make you happy!" Rainbow Dash said with pride.

"Teehee... I-I'm gonna get you up there..." Fluttershy said.

"Alright, let's go." Rainbow Dash said.

The two got ready.

Fluttershy wore the usual. A tank top and a skirt with a few butterflies. Well, she only came with that. So that was obviously what she would wear.

Rainbow Dash wore her usual suit.

They were going to spend the day together.
