She ignited her horn, and shot a blast of magic towards Applejack. Applejack, already severely injured, wasn’t able to dodge the blast. It hit her right in the chest, and she slammed into the barn wall, slowly slid off, and landed on her stomach.

Twilight had just barged into the barn, attacking Applejack for no reason whatsoever. She looked like an insane monster, not the kind-hearted alicorn princess she was.

There was a large dent on the barn wall, and sharp little splinters were visible. Some of those splinters were stabbed into Applejack’s coat. She now has 5 wounds, the magic blast being the fifth one. One was on her left flank, making her cutie mark look more like a puddle of blood. Another was on her right cheek, from her cheek to her ear. Her right hind leg was broken, twisted at an odd angle, and there was a deep gash in her left side. The magic blast had left a burning spot in her chest.

Despite her pain, Applejack struggled to her hooves.

“Twilight,” she said, tears in her eyes, “wh-why?”

Twilight didn’t answer. Instead, she lowered her head and charged, ready to gore Applejack. The orange pony, determined to survive, dodged her. Or at least tried to. She stumbled, and fell on her side. Twilight didn’t impale her, but her hooves kicked at Applejack as she galloped over her. Applejack screamed in agony.

Twilight stopped, then turned around. She walked over to Applejack, and stood over her. Bringing her head upwards, she prepared herself as she brought down her head, her horn ready to stab Applejack.

“NOOOOOOO!” Twilight screamed, sitting up, panting hard from the nightmare.

“Twilight,” Spike asked, lifting his sleepy head. “Are you alright?”

Twilight slowly sighed, beginning to calm down.

“Yes, Spike. I’m fine.”

Spike, being a baby dragon, needed his sleep, and he laid his head back onto his pathetic bed, immediately going back to sleep.

Twilight sighed, yet again. She been having horrible nightmares a week after she became an alicorn. Ever since, she’ll dream about one of her best friends being attacked by Twilight herself. She never talked about it to Princess Celestia because she thought that the nightmares weren’t something very serious. As for Princess Luna, Twilight had no idea where she is during all of this. She doubted Princess Cadence could help. It seemed like nopony could help her.

Twilight knew that she wouldn’t be able to sleep again. It was probably early in the morning, so she got out of bed, and walked downstairs. She went into the kitchen, and filled a glass of water. She walked over to a table, sat, and took a sip. She was wrong. There was somepony to help her. Actually, five ponies. Her best friends. She knew that all of them have busy schedules, but maybe they could all meet up. Maybe, just maybe.
