My little Hoods shooting is magic

The citizens of ponyville held their breath as they listened to the battle rage on outside, the sun was glowing an intimidating shade of dark red, dimming the light, but none of ponies dared turn any lights on in case they were discovered. The Aliens, although they were outnumbered were plowing through the guard ranks due to their size, strength and aggressive tactics

In sugar cube corner Twilight and her friends were hiding along with the cakes and a few other ponies. Twilight could barely believe her eyes as she watched the royal guards get killed, beaten or severely injured. She closed her eyes when the body of a royal guard slumped against the window and started to slide down it, leaving a trail of blood behind it.

“This is all my fault” she said “if I hadn’t of stolen from him none of this would’ve happened” Twilight hung her head

Rarity walked over to Twilight and placed a hoof on her shoulder “Now now Twilight, we all make mistakes”

“Yeah, and some of us make bigger mistakes than others” Said Twilight

Outside the royal guards were facing off against the Aliens, despite having them outnumbered the royal guards were struggling to contain the Aliens. Most of the Aliens fought nobly with traditional blades and axes, but there were a few who were using a bizarre and powerful weapon the ponies had never seen before. It was a dark grey in colour and it aloud the Aliens to hit guards from a distance. The princess had never seen such power bore had Shining Armour, although the projectiles weren’t able to pierce the enchanted armour that the guards (and princess) were wearing the same couldn’t be said for the exposed bits of flesh on the ponies bodies. Due to her immortality Celestia was immune to the projectiles but her guards were another matter.

Captain Dean Angell was covered in blood from the many royal guards he had killed, not one of them had been able to land single blow on him, from sugar cube corner Twilight saw him, and not only that, she also noticed Shining Armour creeping up behind him, he was holding a heavy looking sword in his magic.

Without warning Shining Armour thrust the sword just as the captain turned around and it pierced the right side of the captain’s chest. But instead of screaming in pain and falling to the ground, he only let out a pained grunt and staggered back a few steps, he then grabbed the hilt of the sword and pulled it out of his chest. After doing that he bent it into a knot as if it had been made of rubber and through it away.

Everypony who saw this was left awestruck, none more so than Shining Armour.

The captain stepped forward and grabbed Shining Armour by the neck and hoisted him off the ground, Shining Armour choked as he attempted to attack the captain, but his bucks and punches cameoff as useless, the captain smiled darkly.

“Is that all you got, tough guy?” He mocked, he raised his right hand and took off Shining Armour’s helmet before dropping it onto the ground, he then raised his fist and struck Shining Armour in the face, affectively sending him flying towards suger cube corner. He smashed through the window and Twilight ran towards him to see if he was alright. Luckily he was still alive, but only just. There was a massive red mark on the left side of his face where the captain had punched him and blood was pouring from his mouth. Using her magic Twilight picked him up and made a B-line for the hospital.

Seeing as these creatures were somehow immune to magic Celestia had to resort to bucking and punching, an area of combat she was not used to, although most Aliens she came into contact with were crushed with ease there were some who were tougher than others and managed to score some good blows on her. Just then she saw the captain and she flared her wings and was ready to attack, when she saw he had Shining Armour by the neck, all of a sudden the captain punched Shining Armour, sending him flying into sugar cube corner.

That did it, Celestia’s eyes started to glow orange and her mane and tale turned into massive pillars of fire, her blunt tiara turned into a spiked crown, her broach turned into an armoured breast plate, her horse shoes became long and jagged and her teeth sharpened to a point. She was no longer the sweet, loving princess Celestia. She was the merciless, bloodthirsty queen DayBreaker.

“CAPTAIN ANGELL!!!!!!” She boomed in her canterlot royal voice

The captain looked up and was taken aback by what he saw “ what. The. FUCK!?”

DayBreaker laughed maniacly

“What the fuck happened to you Celestia?” Asked the captain

“Celestia? Ha, I am DayBreaker” she said as she landed in front of the captain “and you are trespassing” without warning she telaported right in front of the captain and bucked him in the chest, sending him flying, she then flared her wings and took off after him.

When she reached him, he was lying on his back, he seemed to be unconscious. She raised her hooves and was about to crush him, but when she brought her hooves down he quickly roled out of the way and got back to his feet, wasting no time he raised his left leg and kicked her hard in the underbelly. DayBreaker fell to the, choking and clutching her belly in pain, when the pain subsided she quickly got back up and shot a breath of fire at the captain, when she finished she expected to see the burnt mangled corpse of her foe, but to her surprise he was completely unharmed.

“Impossible, how are you still alive?” She asked

The captain smirked “I ain’t so easy to kill” he chuckled darkly

Without warning he kicked her in the neck with all his might, DayBreaker chocked for air while holding her throat.

“It appears that I have underestimated you captain, immune to magic, immune to fire, you are truly the warrior I’ve been looking for” she said once she’d cought her breath “but, no matter
, I will kill you and all of your crew” the two opponents ran at each other and once again became locked in combat.

Atop the ponyville town hall three young fillies observed the battle, their names were Applebloom, Sweetybelle and Scootaloo.

“Wow, these Alien guys sure know how to fight” Said Scootaloo

“Yeah, I’m just glad their focusing on the royal guards and not us, I’d hate to go up against something as terrifying as the things” Said Sweetybelle

Applebloom, who was looking through a pair of binoculars saw something that cought her eye “Hey look, is that the princess?” The three fillies leaned in to get a closer look, unaware they were getting dangerously close to the edge of the balcony.

“Well it certainly looks like the prin-“ began Sweetybelle when all of a sudden she slipped and the other two fillies attempted to grab her but one by one they fell off until only Scootaloo was left hanging on with the other two holding onto each others tails for dear life.

The captain had DayBreaker in a merciless headlock when he heard a scream coming from the town square. He looked up and saw three young ponies holding onto the town hall, wasting no time he made B-line for the building, he leeaped forward and roled onto his back, and just in time as the three fillies landed into his embrace.

Sweetybelle opened one eye and was astonished to see that she wasn’t dead, then she felt something wrapped around her underbelly, she looked up and was both shocked and scared Tom see one of the Aliens holding her, she was about to scream but the Alien covered her mouth.

“Shhhhh its Okey” he spoke in a deep yet kind voice “I won’t hurt you, now I think I’d best get you back to your family, do you jnow where they are.” He asked

“Well my big sister is back at sugar cube corner” Said Sweetybelle

Without any hesitation the captain ran towards sugar cube corner

Back at sugar cube corner Twilight had returned after dropping her brother off a pt the hospital, but now she noticed that two of her friends were frantically looking around, those being Rarity and Applejack.

“Sweetybelle, where are you? This isn’t funny” Rarity cried

“And where are Applebloom and Scootaloo!?” Applejack shouted “this is no time to be out there adventuring its to dangerous”

Just then the front door opened and a massive shadow fell on them, they all looked up and were astonished to see that it was the captain, but it’s what was in his arms that astonished them the most.

“Applebloom” Applejack cried as the captain put the three young fillies down

“Sweetybelle” cried Rarity, she ran over to her younger sibling and embraced her, tears in her eyes “I was so worried about you”

Twilight walked over to the captain and looked up at him “what did you do to them?” She asked skepticly

“Well you should thank me, I just saved these kids” He said

“Do you really expect us to believe that you lying ruffian?” Said Rarity but before she could say anything else sweetiebelle stoid in front of her

“it’s true, he really did save us, we’d all be in Tartarus now if it weren’t for him” she said, the other two fillies ame to her side in agreement

Applejack walked up to the captain “look me in the eye, did you save these fillies, or not”

“Yes, I did” he replied

Applejack could see no hint of deception in his eyes, he was telling the truth, she turned back to her other friends “he’s telling the truth” she said

“WHAT?” They all replied in unison

“Why did you save them?” Asked Twilight

“I was not about to let three young kids get killed” he replied

“But, I thought Aliens are supposed to be, like bad, ruthless and Evil” Said Pinkie Pie

“Just because you don’t know someone, doesn’t mean their evil, surely you’ve learned by now that you should never judge a book by its cover” Said the captain

Hearing this gave Twilight an idea

“Hey, you said that you saved these fillies, correct?” She asked

“Yes”

“Well, if we tell that to the princess then maybe she’ll stop trying to kill you” Said Twilight

“It’s worth a try, but she’s not princess Celestia anymore, she turned into queen DayBreaker” Said the captain

“Let me speak to her then, she’ll listen to me”

“Let’s do it then”

But before the captain went outside he relieved himself of his weapons, seeing as he is surrendering he would have to be unarmed, he stepped outside

“DAYBREAKER! In the name f the Hoods, I surrender!” He shouted

In a split second he was surrounded by royal guards who were pointing spears at him then there was a bright flash of light, and there standing in front of him was DayBreaker herself

But before she could do anything Twilight and her friends ran up to her “please princess, before you kill him, at least listen to the story of what he did” Said Twilight

“Oh no need, I already know what he’s done, he put Rainbow Dash in hospital as well as Shining Armour” Said DayBreaker

“I know, but he did those things in self defence, and those aren’t the what I was talking about”

“Then what are you talking about?” Said DayBreaker, the Captain noticed her eyes returning to there normal colour ‘it’s working’ he thought

“he just saved the lives of three young fillies, if it weren’t for him, my friends would’ve lost the younger siblings, Don’t you see? He’s not a monster, in fact” Twilight hung her head “ I’m the monster, I’m the one who stole from him, I’m the one who’s responsible for all this, it’s my fault” and just like that, the firy pillars changed back to light coloured rainbows, her spiked armour plates morphed back the majestic pieces of jewellery they were before. The sun went from red to golden again and the extreme heat died down. Celestia opened her eyes

“Ugh, what happened?” She asked

“You kinda lost you your temper and turned into this evil version of yourself called DayBreaker and you tried to kill the Alien Captain” Said Pinkie Pie

Celestia looked at the captain and walked over to him “I am truly sorry for what I did, I just got a little carried away, I had no idea you saved those fillies, I am sorry “ she said “guards, lower your weapons, he’s no enemy”

Seeing as she told her guards to stand down the captain decided to do the same “all crew members stand down” he said into his radio before looking back at the princess “Now about negotiations of pea-“ he began but Celestia cut across him

“Not negotiations of peace” she said confidently “negotiations of an alliance”
