New Story, New Character, I have had this story in my head and it was what was preventing me from writing "You're filled with DETERMINATION"I was inspired blueeyeswhitedragon0's original series where his characters Burst Stream, and Inferno Flare where born and defended the world from villains.

So for all the Yu-Gi-Oh fans I hope you enjoy, tags will change accordingly.

Earth, Canterlot State Park, Portal to Equestria (3rd person pov)

'Why?' Twilight thought crying silently to herself next to the portal 'Why did it happen this way? Why was I too late!' She thought angrily, mentally kicking herself for being so slow to find out. Sunset had ran off so that Twilight couldn't get her crown and element of harmony back in time, the portal closed minutes before Twilight found out. She was hungry and thirsty because in her search for Sunset she hadn't eaten or drank anything, she sobbed from pain and failure, she started to pass out when she heard the ruffling of the leaves in the nearby bush.

Canterlot, A few hours earlier (My pov)

I had just gotten out of the grocery store when I found a strange book with a symbol of the sun on the back on the street. I picked it up looking around to see if anyone was coming to get it back I waited about 30 minutes when I realized no one was coming back for it. Another reason was that my groceries were going to get spoiled so I took the book and ran back to my house.

When I got in I started to sort the groceries into the fridge and then checked the mail I found a few letters but the most important one that I had been waiting for was there. Inside the contents were "Dear Cynthia Halaberd, we are proud to say that your first part of the entrance exam to duel academy was accepted and you are requested to report to the Canterlot Duel Stadium at 11:30 A.M. on Friday next week for your practical part of you exam. We hope that you will succeed and join our academy. Sincerely, Chancellor Sheppard."

I squeed in excitement "I GOT ACCEPTED!" I yelled to my empty house.

But, I was so loud the neighbor heard me and yelled through the window "BE QUIET!" But I didn't care in a few weeks I wouldn't have to worry about that, I was confident that I would win my Melodious Divas had yet to be beaten. And there were a lot of rich kids at my school all of them believe that they were better than me, they regretted that move once they dueled me.

Flashback, A year ago (My pov)

"Ha you think you can beat me commoner." The stuck-up brat "Prince" Blueblood taunted me "You think just because you won against the fifth best in this school mean you can take on the best." He flipped his blond hair back and took out his duel disk "But it could be fun facing a brat like you. Let's duel." We both went to the other side and the duel disks automatically shuffled our decks.

"DUEL!" We both yelled at each other

"Since I am a prince I will go first" Blueblood said with us both drawing the standard five cards and him performing a normal draw making a total of six in his hand "I activate Dragon Shrine to send Hunter Dragon from my deck to the graveyard." He said doing that and continued his turn "Since I did that I can send another dragon-type monster to the graveyard, I chose Kimodo Dragon to be sent to the graveyard. And since Kimodo Dragon was sent to the graveyard I'm allowed to special summon a dragon-type monster from my hand, arise my loyal subject Luster Dragon #2!" He yelled as the jeweled dragon roared after being summoned to the field "Now I summon Alexandrite Dragon to the field, and set two cards face down, your move commoner!" He finished with his hand now at one.

"I draw" I yelled "I start by playing 1st movement solo this allows to special summon a Melodious monster from my hand or deck." I searched through the deck for my card "I special summon Serenade the Melodious Diva in defense mode and use her effect, her tribute summon for a Fairy-type monster counts as two tributes. So I tribute her for Mozarta the Melodious Maestra, now I activate her effect to summon Aria the Melodious Diva to the field. I use the effect of Sonata the Melodious Diva from my hand to special summon her to the field since I have a Melodious monster on my field, and since she was special summoned all Fairy-type monster gain 500 attack and defense. Next I activate Fortissimo and use its effect to give Aria 800 more attack, now, Mozarta destroy Luster Dragon #2."

"I activate Defense Draw which negates all battle damage and allows me to draw a card." Blueblood said then drew his card

I growled and said "Aria attack Alexandrite Dragon!" Blueblood did nothing as his Life points were lowered by 500 (Blueblood: 3500) "Sonata attack him directly."

"I activate another Defense Draw!" Blueblood yelled out as he activated his other face down.

I sighed and politely said "I end my turn, your move."

Blueblood drew another card and smiled viciously "I activate Polymerization, fusing together Lord of Dragons and Divine Dragon Ragnarok to fusion summon King Dragun. And use his effect to summon out the Blue-eyes White Dragon!" He roared out as the legendary white dragon descends out of a portal that King Dragun called out "You no longer stand a chance." He said victoriously "I attack your Sonata with King Dragun to lower your other monsters attack points." King Dragun rushed towards my monster and breathed fire on it with my life points lowering by 500 points (Cynthia: 3500) but he was surprised when my monster was still standing "H-How is your monster still alive!" He roared out "You must be cheating."

"Actually" I started "Aria prevent Melodious monster from being destroyed by battle when she has been special summoned."

Blueblood visibly blanched but, continued with his turn and said "I-I attack Sonata with Blue-eyes and then end my turn." (Cynthia: 2200)

"My turn" I said as I drew my card and smiled "I use Mozarta's to special summon out Elegy the Melodious Diva to the field, and since she was special summoned her effects activate, all Fairy-type monster gain 300 attack. I activate Fortissimo effect to increase Elegy's attack this time. I destroy Blue-eyes with Elegy and King Dragun with Mozarta." (Blueblood: 2300) "Now with my other two monsters I attack for the game." After I said this Sonata and Aria attack Blueblood as he screamed like a girl in fear of my monsters as they attacked him. "I win." I said

Canterlot, Home (My pov)

I smirked at the memory 'The pompous brat deserved it'. I looked over my shoulder onto the counter and spotted the book I found on the street, I went over, grabbed it and opened it up. Inside was what to most people would be normal diary stuff but it read as it were two people and one of them was very angry at the other, while the other was remorseful.

But the most recent ones said "Sunset what were you think! You stole Twilight's crown you need to give it back. Equestria needs it!"

'What's Equestria? And is Sunset the name of the person who owns this book.' I continued reading the last entry

"Twilight won't find the crown in time Princess which means she will be trapped here, also don't even try to contact me again I won't have this book."

I stared at the last entry desperately trying to hold onto a sense on normality 'HOW?!?!? There is no POSSIBLE way for this to be happening.' I thought to myself then started talking to myself "Calm down Cynthia, if this really is true then I can write to the person." I went to my work desk and grabbed a pen and wrote down "H-Hello?"

I waited a minute, thinking nothing was going to happen when the book started to vibrate and words started to appear on paper "Sunset Shimmer is that you? Please you have to find a way to return the crown and get the portal to open."

I gasped in shock, I thought nothing would come of it but I ended up writing in the journal "I'm not this Sunset, I just found this book on the street and went to see what happened. Who is this "Sunset Shimmer", who are you, and what do you two have to do with anything?" My pen ink stained the paper as I wrote faster than I imagined I could, the being behind the paper quickly responded the words flickering to life as it wrote

"A stranger found this book, Sunset must have gone through with here plan, I know this is much but here me out on this. My name is Princess Celestia, I am the Co-Ruler of Equestria with my sister being the other Co-ruler, Sunset Shimmer was one of my previous pupils until she fell from grace. She ran through a magical mirror that leads to your world, earlier this week she stole a magical artifact from my current student, and fellow princess, Twilight Sparkle. I am asking you to find Twilight you should most likely search around the portal that bridges our worlds, the only thing I know is that it is in a park."

As I finished reading it I had started to get more and more anxious, but from the way Princess Celestia was writing, she was telling the truth. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair as I considered my options, but quickly decided that I would do the right thing "I will try to find this "Twilight Sparkle" and I believe I can find Sunset Shimmer I think I remember seeing things about her on the news."

After I wrote this I got an immediate answer "Thank you, you don't know how much this means to me. Let me know as soon as you can when you find Twilight." after she finished writing that I closed the book believing that this was as much as I was going to get on info for now.

Canterlot, Canterlot Park, A tiny bit before Twilight passing out (My pov)

I groaned as I went through the last park in the city, the main park itself, as I looked around I noticed a girl crying her eyes out by the equine statue that was the main statue of the park. The strange thing about the girl was her eyes they were a bit bigger than a human, I noticed that she was suffering from malnutrition. I ran towards her as she started to fall her eyes faintly looked in my direction as I ran through a bush before they closed. "Dear god." I said as I looked over her as she was unconscious and barely breathing. Normally you'd call an ambulance but this girl wasn't normal, so I hoisted her onto my back and made a sprint for my car.
