Canterlot, Pier, a day later 12:23

Twilight and I had talked earlier today about the indecent with Applejack and tried to emulate what would happen if we found another one of her friends. When we got to the pier, Applejack was there with some people that looked like what Twilight described as her friends and notice us "Hey!" she called out as she and her friend came over to the both of us, Twilight looked like she was going to have a heart attack but calmed herself down enough to not look outwardly worried.

"So these are the people that helped you get through those security guards, got to say they look like I could easily destroy them. Names Rainbow Dash the fastest person in Canterlot High and now Duel Academy." She said, sounding oh so sure of herself, if she fought me with either of my decks that would be her downfall.

"You shouldn't underestimate people." The girl with the comb hair I saw from yesterday said "My name is Rarity, though darlings your not in your blazers." The second part I groaned at that.

"We don't need to wear our blazers until the first day of school starts." I said then coughed a little "Anyways, my name is Cynthia Halaberd, and this here is my friend Twilight Sparkle."

"Sorry." Rarity said meekly

The pink hair girl jumped over to us and started talking really fast "HimynameisPinkiePiedoyoulikeicecream?Andifyoudowhichkind?AlsowoulditbeokifIthrewyouapartyoncewegettoduelacademy." It took me a minute and a half to digest all this information.

I had only one thing to say "What?"

Twilight on the hand replied with "Yes I like ice cream, my favorite kind is strawberry, and I would like you to throw us a party but you have to make sure it is ok with the school." Pinkie Pie's smile widened and she backed off, while Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash all rolled there eyes.

There was one girl that hadn't introduced herself and when I looked at her she seemed to shrink away "Who are you?" I asked her.

She mumbled her reply but I heard as she said "My name is Fluttershy."

"Nice to meet you Fluttershy, my name is Cynthia Halaberd." I said to her, we just stood there awkwardly until Applejack pulled me away.

"Well anyways I want to see how I stand up against her." Rainbow Dash stated as she pointed at me "Because if your right Rarity then she probably is more powerful than she looks." At that Rainbow Dash pulled out her duel disk and her deck.

I chuckled and pulled out my second deck and duel disk thinking 'We have time longest match ever is one hour. Don't think that is going to happen today.' "DUEL!" We both called out at the same time, drawing our five cards

"I'll go first." Rainbow Dash said "I activate the spell card Crystal Tree, with this every time I place a Crystal Beast into my spell/trap card zone it gains a counter and I can send it to the graveyard and for every counter on it I get to place a Crystal Beast in my spell/trap zone. I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode." A Pegasus with Sapphire in its hair descended to the field "Since he was summoned I can place a Crystal Beast in my spell/trap card zone from my deck." She searched her deck for a specific card and found it then the duel disk auto-shuffled the deck "I place Ruby Carbuncle in the spell/trap card zone, next I activate the equip spell Crystal Release this boosts my Pegasus' attack by 800 also if it is sent to the grave yard I can place a Crystal Beast in the spell/trap card zone. With that I set a card face down and I end my turn, your up."

I nodded and drew my next card "I summon Gagaga Sister in attack mode and since she was summoned I get to add a Gagaga spell/trap to my hand I chose Gagaga Bolt. Now since I have a Gagaga monster out on the field I special summon Gagaga Clerk in attack mode, with two monsters on the field I activate my sister's effect, I can combine their level they are both level two so now both of their levels are four. Next I activate Onomatopia and Xyz change tactics, with Onomatopia when I summon a Utopia monster it gains a counter, with every counter it gains all monster I control gain 200 extra attack, also I can remove two counter to special summon a Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo or Zubaba monster from my deck. Xyz Change Tactics allows me to pay 500 life points when I summon a Utopia monster and I then get to draw a card. Now I use my two monsters to build the overlay network and XYZ summon, Number 39: Utopia in attack mode." (Onomatopia: 1) As I said this a hole opened up in the sky and the two overlay materials went in , what came out was pillar of light that transformed into the form of a warrior. "I then use Utopia to build the overlay network and XYZ summon, Number C39 Utopia Ray, also I'm using XYZ Change Tactics to draw a card." (Cynthia: 3500) (Onomatopia: 2) "I then use Utopia Ray to once again build the overlay network and XYZ summon, Number S39: Utopia the Lightning in attack mode." (Onomatopia: 3) "I attack your Pegasus with Utopia and use her effect, by using two overlay units I can make her attack 5000." Utopia the Lightning rushed forward faster than Rainbow Dash thought possible and destroy her monster (Rainbow: 1600)

"Crystal Release's effect activates I place Cobalt Eagle in the spell/trap card zone and I don't put Sapphire Pegasus in there, which allows me to activate my face down Crystal Pair and put Emerald Tortoise in the spell/trap card zone." Rainbow Dash said

"I set two cards face down and end my turn." I said

"I draw!" Rainbow yelled out and then smirked "This duel is over, I activate Painful Choice." She revealed Sapphire Pegasus, Topaz Tiger, Amethyst Cat, Amber Mammoth, and Ruby Carbuncle "You chose one and the rest go to the graveyard." I begrudgingly picked Carbuncle "Now I special summon Rainbow Dragon to the field since all seven crystal beast are either on the field or in the graveyard." The dragon I saw when looking around yesterday descended to the field "I summon Ruby Carbuncle and activate Crystal Beacon to summon another Cobalt Eagle, but neither of them will stick around, I use Rainbow Dragon's effect to send both of them to the grave and increase his attack by 2000." Rainbow Dash cried out "Now Rainbow Dragon destroy Utopia with Spectrum Surge."

"I activate Compulsory Evacuation Device, now you dragon is sent back to the hand." I said confident that I had stopped her attack.

"I use Rainbow Dragon's other effect to banish all Crystal Beast in the grave to reset the entire field." Rainbow Dragon glowed a brilliant light and exploded sending all of the cards on the field back to the deck. "I end my turn." Rainbow Dash said.

"My move" I said drawing my final card "I summon Gogogo Golem in attack mode, now Gogogo Golem attack Rainbow Dash directly and end the duel." Gogogo Golem raised his fist and hit Rainbow full force finishing off the rest of her life points (Rainbow: 0000) (Cynthia: 4000)

"Good job." Rainbow Dash said pouting "But you got lucky, if I had Ultimate Crystal Formation face down you would have lost the duel then and there." She stated

I rolled my eyes and said "Of course I would've." She obviously had a big ego and I didn't want to harm it anymore. "Well look at the time" I said noticing that it was 1:17 "We should get on the boat before it leave." Everyone else nodded at that and the small crowd that came to watch us duel dispersed "It's gonna be one hell of a year." I stated Twilight laughed then nodded while we walked onto the boat.

I groaned to myself as I put on my blazer 'Why does it have to be so light colored it just burns my eyes. Well I'll get used to it before the year is over, or I'll be getting used to light blue.' Seriously, why in Ra's name were the colors of the school so bright. I exited my room deciding to go explore the area.

As I was walking down the floor I ran into this really eccentric Slifer Red boy who was almost like Pinkie Pie "Hi!" He said to me grinning "My name is Jaden Yuki, who are you?"

"I'm Cynthia Halaberd, pleasure to meet you Jaden. Excuse me if I seem rude but I was wanting to explore the ship, maybe we can talk when we get to the island." I said trying not bring his hopes down

"Nah, its cool but, if you see a small guy with blue hair let me know I've been looking for him for like twenty minutes." He said, I nodded and walked away from the area while every once and a while looking around for the person he asked me to find. I explored for a little bit but couldn't find the person, but I did meet a girl in a blue blazer with blond hair she was dueling against a male student with another blue blazer but talked to me for a little bit afterwords. I also saw Sunset, she was in Obelisk Blue when she didn't even deserve it from the way she acted, in fact from the way almost all of the Blues acted they deserve it but in reality didn't. Not wanting to do anything else I return to cabin and slept the rest of the way to Duel Academy.
