Canterlot, Duel Stadium

As Twilight and I approached the admission stand a farmer girl that Twilight recognized from her world was arguing against the two people at the opening with a letter in her hand "Ah already told you I am on the list of those who got accepted, I even have my letter here, just you varmints not wan'tin a country gal like myself in your "prestigious" academy." She said in agitation

I went over to the stand confused "Why are you not allowing her in here. She literally is waving her admission letter in your faces and you aren't letting her in. From what I know it says on the rules there is not a list you just have to show the letter at the front and take the practical exam." The two people manning admission stand glared at me but allowed all of us to pass, I'll be it begrudgingly.

"Thank ya kind miss ma name is Applejack. Whats yours?" She said and put her hand out

I shook her hand and said "My name is Cynthia Halaberd, and this here is my friend Twilight Sparkle." Pointing over my shoulder to Twilight who was just standing there rubbing her anxiously.

"H-Hi." Twilight said "My name is Twilight Sparkle but you already know that." She laughed nervously, seeing the situation I pulled out of the crossfire.

"Well I hope we meet again Applejack." I said politely as a I pulled Twilight away from that conversation

"T-Thanks Cynthia I don't know what got over me." She said, I nodded, she told me that she had friends in that other world and there were parallel of some of them here at least.

"Well once they call our name we won't have time to learn anything and the plan will fail if one of us doesn't get 50%." I started to get anxious myself 'What if I do fail?' I thought randomly then shook it off

"Cynthia Halaberd please report to Duel Arena 53. Cynthia Halaberd please report to Duel Arena 53." The intercom stated twice, I got up and went to where it instructed where a teacher the had hair like Joseph Joestar and was wearing a trench coat based on the Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

"Hello" he said "my name Inferno Flare the teacher of the special summon technique class and I will be you duel proctor today." With that he brought out his duel disk which was also based around Red-eyes and insert a proctor deck into the deck compartment.

"DUEL" We both yelled as we drew five cards

"Age over Beauty" he said as he drew his sixth card "I summon Hunter Dragon in attack mode and equip him with Rider of the Storm Winds from my hand, after that I set two cards face down and end my turn."

"I draw." I said "I set a monster, set four cards face down and end my turn."

"My turn then, draw! I activate Polymerization using this I fuse together Alexandrite Dragon and Gigatech Wolf to summon First of the Dragons in attack mode. Now I activate my face-down dragon's treasure this increase Hunter Dragon's attack and defense by 300. Next I attack your face down with Hunter Dragon." He said as his monster rushed towards my face down.

"I activate A Rival Appears! With this I can target a monster you control than and Star-Changer with Star-Changer I reduce your First of the Dragons level by 1 making it level 8 and as it is chained with A Rival Appears! I can now summon a level 8 from my hand. Appear now Mozarta the Melodious Maestra, unfortunately I can't save my face down, sorry Serenade." I said as Serenade was destroyed and I lost 100 life points due to Rider of the Storm Winds (Cynthia: 3900).

"Well that just mean I can destroy your new monster. Attack First of the Dragons." He said as his other dragon rushed towards Mozarta

"Not gonna happen!" I yelled "I activate Draining Shield so your attack is negated and I gain 2700 life points." (Cynthia: 6600)

"Smart move" Inferno said "I end my turn then."

"I draw." I called out, I smiled at the card I drew "I activate Pot of Greed drawing two cards, then I activate Cestus of Dagla, I can equip it to a Fairy-type monster and it gains 500 attacks points, also if it inflicts damage by battle I gain life points back, I equip it to Mozarta. Next I activate Fortissimo and use it's effect to increase Mozarta attack by 800 points, next I activate my face down Massivemorph doubling my Mozarta's attack. And finally to end it I activate Riryoku cutting your monsters attack in half and giving them to my monster. Now Mozarta attack his monster and end this duel." Mozarta rushed towards and cut First of the Dragons in half Inferno's life points hit zero immediately (Inferno: 0000)

Inferno chuckled as the dust cloud disappeared and slowly clapped "Good job welcome to Duel Academy, also maybe just maybe next time we face in battle I can use my real deck." I smiled, nodded and walked out glad that I had succeed in my duel. Now just Twilight had to complete her duel.

As I entered the nearby stadium seating area I saw Twilight finishing a duel against a guy with a Blue-eyes White Dragon based trench coat an hair like Dante from Devil May Cry 3. "I attack you directly with Number 74: Master of Blades for the game." Twilight cried out

"I activate Shadow Chains to stop your monster and reduce its attack point by 700." The person said

"I don't think so Burst, I activate Master of Blades special ability by using an overlay unit I can negate that card effect and destroy it, also as an added bonus I can destroy another card so say goodbye to your other face down." She said as Master of Blades sliced of the chains with a short sword and destroy the face down with a shuriken. He rushed towards the now named Burst and brought his life points to zero (Burst: 0000) (Twilight: 3200)

"Great job." Burst said "Welcome to Duel Academy." Twilight squeed in excitement, she looked towards my direction and ran up to me.

"I'm in, I'm in." Twilight repeated to me I just smiled and nodded. I looked around and saw multiple duel being finish, what looked like a man with a devil's wing in a latex suit erupt itself in fire and smashed itself into a giant ancient looking golem that fell onto a creepy cross-dresser. A Rainbow Dragon firing a giant rainbow at another duelist, and rainbow haired girl that used the dragon, jumping up and down in victory. Applejack attacking with a giant golem that looked like a fortress and another Lady with combed hair with a female knight made of gems at her side which charged at another duelist.

"We should go see what our dorm is." I said as I pulled Twilight towards a door that was only to be entered when you finished your duel. We were both given Yellow cloth which put us both in Ra Yellow and instructed to go to the pier tomorrow at 1:30 P.M. at lastest or we would have to wait till next year. We left the stadium and went back home to prepare for leaving tomorrow.

Pinkie Pies deck is not finished so she was not include when Cynthia looked around, and Fluttershy got there earlier and took her exam with a Sylvan deck.
