Middle of the Forest, Duel Academy (A couple weeks later)

I was out with Twilight and our friends, minus Alexis and her other world friend's counterparts, and everyone was telling spooky stories right now it was my turn. I picked up a card from the deck, I drew the Level 1 Red-Eyes B. Chick "Yes!" Syrus and Chumley said at the same time 'Scaredy Cats.' I thought to myself rolling my yes as I decided on what I was going to do.

"Well when I was younger I heard strange noises at night. When I tried to locate where they were they just stopped as soon as I got close." All of them but Jaden where silently asking me to continue while Jaden was looking at me surprised "That all that of it." I told them as Twilight groaned, obviously interested in the story and wanting to know more.

We heard a rustling the leaves as a cat leapt out of the bushes followed by man, Chumley was cowering in terror as Syrus jumped into his arms obviously scared "Oh, hi teach." Jaden said recognizing the man.

"Hello Jaden, Syrus, Chumley, Bastion, and two other people I don't know." "Teach" said before turning towards Twilight and me "My name is Professor Lyman Banner, head of the Slifer Red dorm, and who might you two be?" He asked Twilight and Me.

"Hello Professor Banner, my name is Cynthia and this here is my friend Twilight Sparkle. We were just playing a game right now, would you like to join?" I asked him politely waving my hand over the cards.

He smiled and said "Sure." As he grabbed the cat and put it in his lap which curled up and laid down "What game are you playing?"

"We're telling scary stories based on the level of the monster that we draw, it would have been my turn but you can go teach." Jaden said as he pointed the most recent card that I had used for my story.

He drew his card and showed us it Dystopia the Despondent a Level 12 monster "I think I'm going to go now." Syrus said as he started to leave before I pulled him back, he looked at me surprised at my strength, but sat down anyways.

"I think I have one, have you heard of the old abandoned dorm at the edge of island?" He asked us.

"I don't think anyone here does." I said as I looked over everyone else faces which were filled with confusion.

He chuckled "It was a dorm that the only the strongest of students were put in, but one day they all mysteriously disappeared. From what I last remembered they were doing research into the Yami No Games or more commonly known as a dark game." Everyone looked at him in confusion except me

"The Dark Games? Weren't those happening during Battle City." I asked him.

Everyone looked at me in surprise until Banner spoke up "So you noticed that too, interesting I thought I was the only one who noticed what was going on."

"I was bored one day and did some research into Ancient Egypt and found out the basics, I pieced two and two together when the strange things at Battle City started." Everyone looked at us confused at our conversation.

"What is a Dark Game?" Jaden asked being the first on to speak up.

Banner coughed a little "The Dark Games were ancient battles with high stakes, the highest and most commonly done stakes were losing there souls to the shadows. The only way for one to happen though, was through a Millennium Item, at least that's how they happened in Battle City. " The two "Scaredy Cats" reacted badly to this story, Chumley had curled into a fetal position while Syrus had a vice grip on my arm.

I rolled my eyes as I pulled Syrus off my arm "Interesting that someone would be trying to research it, I could just get the bare bones worth of it and I read a lot more than I should have." I said.

Banner nodded "Anyways, I have to go, you kids have fun now." He said as he got up with the cat and left the clearing we were in.

"Well I think we should check that place out!" Jaden said.

"B-But, Jaden what if the D-Dark Games are actually t-true?" Syrus said stuttering.

"I think it sounds interesting." Twilight, Bastion and me said at the same time before I continued.

"I mean if a Dark Game is true than we can report it to the Headmaster, and if we need evidence get some before getting out of there. That way the dorm can be remade and be used again."

"Then it's settled." Jaden said "We'll meet up here again tomorrow and investigate those rumors." With the the six of us split of and went back to our dorms.

Near the Abandoned Dorm (Tomorrow)

As we all approached the area we found the entrance at the entrance was a rose on the ground "What is a flower doing here?" I said as I picked it up off of the ground to look at it then set it back where it was.

"Why does this have to be so scary!" Syrus suddenly exclaimed "We should just call this off and go back to our dorms."

"What are you talking about?" Jaden said "After coming this far, we can't just quit." A branch snapped and both Syrus and Chumley shrieked in terror.

"Alexis?" Syrus said confused as Jaden hovered a light over the direction where the branch snapped which revealed Alexis.

"Alexis, what are you doing here?" Jaden and Bastion said together.

"I should be asking all of you the same question, what are you people doing here?" She demanded to us though her eyes softened when she reached me.

"We thought we'd have a little evening expedition." Jaden said coming up with a half-truth for her.

"Don't you know?" She said angrily "The number of students that have gone missing here. The story about the dorm is true. This isn't a place to come to for fun! Besides, it is off-limits and all of you could get in trouble if the school found out."

Jaden just laughed it off and said "If I believed in that stuff I wouldn't ever go exploring."

"Listen to me!" Alexis yelled

"Jeez, you really want to argue about this, huh?" Jaden said confused on why she was getting mad "Though you haven't answered my question yet, what are you doing here."

"Do what ever you like then." Alexis said suddenly before starting to walk off.

"Alexis?" I asked "Why are you getting so angry."

She looked over towards me and her eyes softened again "My older brother was one of the students that disappeared here." She said sadly before walking off as we all looked towards where the rose was set 'So Alexis put that flower there.' We all thought.

"I-I don't think the rumors about this place were made up." Syrus said

"Well, once we are inside we will learn more, come on lets go." Jaden said as he started walking towards the entrance.

"O-Okay." Chumley and Syrus said as the rest of us followed him.

When we entered the building we found carvings about the seven Millennium Items and picture of Alexis' brother. When suddenly we heard a scream coming from the basement "That sounded like Alexis!" I said as I ran towards the basement where I heard the voice coming from.

"Hey!" Twilight called out "Wait up!" But I didn't stop I had to make sure that Alexis was safe. When I got there I saw her in what looked like a coffin.

"Alexis!" I yelled out towards her as the others caught up to me, suddenly we all heard dark laughing.

"Her soul is already to deep in the darkness for you to pull her out." The voice of a man said to us, before a man in a trench cloak appeared "Welcome, to the Den of the Demons." He said as a thick fog appeared over the ground.

"Who are you? What have you done to Alexis!" I growled out towards him.

"My name is Titan, the Dark Duelist, as a Dark Duelist I control Dark Games." The man said, making me growl once more 'This fool thinks that he has control over the Dark Games.' I thought.

"There's no such thing as a Dark Game, those are just myths to explain weird things that have to do with Duel Monsters." Jaden said sounding sure of himself.

The man chuckled darkly and said "Try me boy, and you will see how real Dark Games really are."

I intervened before Jaden said anything "I'm going to duel you." I said taking out my duel disk.

"No." He said "I will duel the boy."

"Well to bad I'm going to destroy you for what you've done." I said as I let my true eyes flash for a second.

He backed up but then said stuttering "V-Very well then." He brought out a fake Millennium Puzzle 'HE DARES FAKE ONE OF THE ITEMS!' I roared inside my mind but calmed myself, I would reveal him for the fraud he is they show him what a dark game actually is I took out my Dark Deck and prepared.

"DUEL!" We both said

"Fakes go first." I said towards him as he stopped for a second. I could read from his expression what he was thinking 'She knows.'

"I-I draw" He said before smirking "I summon Infernalqueen Archfiend in attack mode." 'Fiend deck, huh?' I thought before smirking 'The fool is really into this act.' "Her effect is that while she is on the field all "Archfiend" monsters gain 1000 attack points. And to make sure I don't have to pay the cost for my Archfiends, I activate the field spell Pandemonium, with this "Archfiend" monsters now longer have a life point cost." A circle with demonic looking structres surrounded us.

"W-What is this place." Twilight said.

Titan smirked "For now let's call it the first circle of hell, now let me continue explaining, with my field spell in play if a "Archfiend" monster is destroyed by means other than battle I can revive it, with that I end my turn."

"I draw, I summon Ancient Gear in attack mode, next I use Machine Duplication, with this I can target a Machine-type monster with 500 or less attack and special summon monsters with the same name from my deck, so two more Ancient Gears are summoned. Now I use the three of them to build the overlay network and XYZ summoned your downfall. Number 96: Dark Mist in attack mode." A blob of liquid darkness appeared which transformed into a bipedal demon with 100 attack points.

"Your monster is too weak to even stand a chance." He said confident that he was going to win now.

I smirked "I activate Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force with this I can rank my monster up into Choas XYZ monster, XYZ change, Number C96: Dark Storm." A quadruped version of Dark Mist appeared with 1000 attack points "And since Rank-Up Magic Numeron Force was used all effect besides Dark Storm's are negated."

"You're monster won't last next turn though." He pointed out smiling smugly as if he pointed out a weakness.

I chuckled "I attack your Infernalqueen Archfiend with Dark Storm and use his effect, during the damage step while he has Dark Mist as an XYZ material I can reduce you monsters attack points to zero and add them to Dark Storm's. " Titan backed up in surprise as his monster was shrouded in darkness then destroyed as my monster grew in size (Titan: 2100) what Titan didn't expect was him to feel actual pain as an orb of darkness surrounded us obscuring visoin.

"W-What, why am I feeling pain?" Titan said as he doubled over from the pain.

I smiled viciously "You said you a Dark Duelist, this is an actual Dark Game, Dark Mist and his evolved forms are cursed cards that cause Dark Games. You will feel pain and then you're soul will be off to the shadows next I set a card and end my turn, your move."

"I-I draw." Titan said nervously than smirked "I summon Terrorking Archfiend and discard Effect Veiler to negate your cards effects, now my King attack and destroy her monster."

"I activate Number Wall, with this my monster can't be destroyed by card effect, also it makes it so Number monsters can only be destroyed be other numbers." I said smirking at his terrified face (Cynthia: 3900).

"P-Please spare me!" He said after the attack finished as he was on his knees as his turn ended.

I drew "You are a fraud and would hurt the one I love, your sentence is eternity with the shadows." I said as I attacked his monster and used Dark Storms effect to gains 2000 attack and destroy his zero attack point monster (Titan: 0000) The shadows moved in around Titan as he screamed out in pain from them eating him as a hole appeared in the shadow dome I made as I exited through it.

Once I was out the dome collapsed on itself, as the other five rushed over to me to make sure I was ok "Where did he go?" Jaden asked

"It was a real Dark Game, so he is now suffering for losing a Dark Game." I said as I got up and made my way over to Alexis who was waking up.

Once she was up and the others had dispersed after we had left the building I talked to her "This really shouldn't have happened to you." I told her "But here we found this while we were exploring." I said as I handed her the photo of her brother.

"Thank you." She said before she kissed me lightly stunning both me and her we both blushed "W-Well see you later Cynthia." She said before running off in embarrassment as I was still stunned. I left going back to my dorm thinking 'She just kissed me!'

Author's Note

I like the name of the Dark Games but they will act like Shadow Games, if I didn't do this I wouldn't get to torture Crowler. And if you were wondering why I put Titan before the Dorm Rank Up duel is because I haven't decided who I want to use for Cynthia's duel. I am most likely going to be using Inferno's Red-Eyes deck against her though.

Also I revamped the description, I think that that is the main problem with the dislikes. I'm getting better at writing, and I'm most likely going to revamp the first 1 and a half chapters.
