Elements of Insanity: Element of Sorrow

Fluttershout's POV.
Another night, another trip to the damn graveyard, hopefully this is the last time. Rarifruit wanted me to accompany her for this trip. Says that she's found something out about our friends and what has happened to them.

"So, what are we doing here again?" I asked Rarifruit, as we arrived to the graveyard.

"I've met my sis, Creepy Belle, right?" She asked me.

I nodded with a smile, "Yeah. She's really cute for a Pony Monster."

"Well, she read through the internet that Pinkie has gone missing." She explained.

"What does that mean?" I tilted my head in confusion and raised a brow.

"She was last seen at the very cemetery of dead monsters and freaks that made us who we are today." Rarifruit answered, "Something tells me that our remaining four friends might be merged with whatever monster might break free and inhibit."

"Two." I corrected.

Something snapped in Rarifruit's head, as she turned to me, "Wha--? Two--?" She grabbed me and pushed me to the ground, "HOLD ON ONE BLOODY, WIFE-TOSSING MINUTE!!! Why are insinuating that we have two remaining friends, instead of four?"

I looked over to across from me and pointed, "Well... During one of my midnight strolls, I found Applejack and Ellie. Or, should I say..."

Rarifruit followed my gaze and she saw the two figures I was pointing to. One was a tall drowned bat pony that was brought back to life. And the other was Applejack, but with black mane and tail, paler coat and had a Cutie Mark of pills with apples on them.

"Mighty nice to meet y'all." Applejack greeted, "Name's Applepills."

"A pleasure." The drowned bat pony spoke with a familiar voice, "Drowned Frost at your service."

I smiled at the two Pony monsters, but Rarifruit started laughing at Applepills.

"Applepills." She squeaked between laughs.

"Rarifruit!!" I shouted.

Rarifruit looked at me, "What?"

"That was very rude!" I scolded, "Applejack just became one of us and you decide to laugh at her! You should be ashamed of yourself!!"

"Look, I'm sorry. It's just-" Rarifruit tried to apologise, but I cut her off, "Say you're sorry to HER, or else I'm gonna scream."

Rarifruit's eyes widen in fear, "You wouldn't."

"I'm getting ready to scream." I told her.

"You're serious?" Rarifruit started to get scared. Drowned Frost and Applepills covered their ears.

"Here comes the Fat Pony, ready for her final number!" I took a deep breath, ready to scream, then Rarifruit quickly covered her ears, and collapsed to the ground.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! FOR THE LOVE OF LUNA AND ALL THAT IS HOLY!! I'M SORRY!" She screamed in apology and guilt.

"That's okay." Applepills spoke up, removing her hands from her ears, and glaring at Rarifruit, "I forgive ya, for now."

"Now with that out of the way..." I started, once everything calmed down.

"Allow me." Applepills offered, "I was a little worn out. A little confused. 'Cause I was trying to help this dark-skinned fella, and then this happened." She ran her hoof through her black mane, "I met Drowned Frost, here, when I woke up. We walked around a little bit, but got cornered with no way out. Then Flutters got rid of them, and hot damn, found out she was just like us."

"I decided not to use my powers, because I foresaw Fluttershout arriving and helping us out." Drown Frost explained.

I glared at Applepills, "Especially since you want to turn me into pills."

Rarifruit tilted her head and repeated, "Pills?"

"I can't help it, girl." Applepills defended, then went under one of her impulses, "I want the pills! Gotta grab anything I can!!"

I smiled and grabbed a bottle of painkillers from my backpack. I showed to Applepills and threw to the ground.

"Pills here!" Applepills smiled, then leaped after them and tried to open them, "My precious..."

"So uncouth..." Rarifruit frowned in disgust, as Applepills swallowed to pills, "To see someone with no control of their monstrous impulses..."

I smiled again an pointed to the gate of the graveyard, "Oh, look! It's a rare, discontinued, fancy fedora."

Rarifruit snapped into her impulse, "Where is it!" She dashed at the gate, "MINE!!!" She found there was nothing, except dirt and glared at me, "You're mean."

I smiled pridefull, "Learned from the best."

Drowned Frost's POV.
Suddenly, from the graveyard, a gun was aimed at Rarifruit's head, followed by a mechanical-toned voice, "Now it's time to die!"

Rarifruit turned to the owner of the gun, "What."

It turned out the owner of the gun was Rainbow Dash. But not Rainbow Dash at the same time. It was a cyborg Pegasus mare wit black ear pieces and dark wings.

Her fur coat, mane and tail had a mechanical grey hue. Her eyes were still the same cerise rose color. Her Cutie Mark was a digitized version of her old Cutie Mark.

"Say good-bye to your plots, dweebs!" She laughed.

Fluttershout narrowed her eyes and stared at the cyborg pegasus.

The Pegasus noticed and frowned, "What the-- I know that stare..." The more the two Pegasi looked at each other, the more familiar they became. The cyborg pegasus' eyes widened in recognition, "Fluttershy?"

"So you decided to go off and shoot your friends right off the bat?" Fluttershout asked, keeping her stare, "That a way to treat your friends?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold it." The cyborg pegasus, Rainbow Dash, spoke up, withdrawing her gun into her arm, "I just got a little out of hand, geez." Then she explained, "It's just that I've got some super-cool weapons and everything, it's just so fucking awesome!"

Fluttershout shook her head, hardening her stare, "No excuse."

"I'm sorry, really." Rainbow Dash apologised then explained her story, "I was in that cemetery with Twilight, and we found out about you guys through the memories of this place. Then Pinkie popped out wanting to eat us, and we got really scared."

"And that?" Rarifruit asked, pointing to Rainbow's ears.

"Well... It was creepy and painful when some of the mechanics activated and dug into me." She explained, "But now I'm 120% cooler! I've even got guns!" She showed us her arsenal, "Noticed the gravestone was some dude named Scombine, so now... I'm Rainbine! Pretty cool name, huh?"

"Sorry to disrupt your boastful introduction but..." I spoke up, getting back to the matter at hand, "Where's Twilight?"

Realization hit Rainbine and she froze, "Oh, shit! I left her at the cemetery! Pinkie might still be there!"

With that, she dashed into the graveyard. The rest of us followed after her and found Twilight, laying on the ground unconscious. She had a gunshot would in the chest, but I could feel her body heat from where I was. She was still alive.

"There's Twi... But..." Rarifruit started, but she was cut off by the sound of rustling coming from behind us.

Rainbine gasped and looked uneasy, "What's that noise?"

"Pills?" Applepills asked with a smile, but Rarifruit 'shh'ed her.

"Everyone quiet, please." I whispered, "Someone else is here."

Then there was another rustling noise. Fluttershout hugged close to me, "There it is again."

"Now, Fluttershout. You're braver than that." Rarifruit assured the pegasus who's voice cannot be contained.

Rainbine nodded and said loudly, "Yeah, just look at me. With all these guns, I can scare this guy out in no ti-" Suddenly, something in a flash tackled her to the ground, "AAAGGGHHH!!! HE'S ON ME!! HE'S GONNA KILL ME!!"

"Hi, Dashie…" The assassin greeted with an insane smile on her face.

It was Pinkie Pie, but not Pinkie at the same time. Her mane was straight and in the color of a blood waterfall. Her fur coat was a darker pink.

"Pinkie?" Rainbine gasped.

Pinkie stroked her cheek, "Aaawww… you still remember me." She giggled, "So cute..."

"My god, what happened to you?" Rainbine asked in shock.

Pinkie shrugged, "Oh, nothing serious. I just met a really nice man. He was a maniac, and we both clicked together since, well... We're both crazy! So, then he decided he'd make me his new host and here I am: Pinkis Cupcake!"

"Pinkie, please..." Rainbine sobbed with tears welling in her eyes, "Don't hurt me."

"Oh, it's okay, Dashie. I'm not gonna hurt you." Pinkis assured.

"You're not?" Rainbine asked.

Pinkis' smile grew tighter and more insane, "I'm just gonna EAT you!"

Pinkis Cupcake's POV.
"Oh, wow. Deja vu." The mare that looked like Rarity sighed.

"For the love of Luna..." The drowned bat pony started, her eyes closed, "I have had it with all this fucking SHIT!!!"

The drowned bat pony's voice turned demonic and her eyes turned white. Her shadow came to life and surrounded me and the others, with tendrils growing. For the first time, I fell frozen in fear, as the air grew cold and dead.

"Is there anypony here, who isn't so fucking insane, that they kill off another Pony, who happens to be just like them?!!" She shouted.

I blinked in realization, "Just like... Me?"

Rarity nodded, "Well, yes, Pinkie, dear. We all have monsters inside us, just the same as you."

"Like me?" I repeated.

So these guys are my friends. Just with monsters inside them, which made them change. Ellie. Fluttershy. Rarity. Applejack and Dashie. I thought I'd never find these guys again.

"Uh... Pinkie?" Dashie's robotic voice snapped my back into reality.

"Dashie?" I asked, eyes wide.

"Can you, like... Get off me?" She asked.

"Oops. Sorry." I got off Dashie and helped her to her hooves, then turned to the others.

Each one of them explained what happened to them. How and which monsters live inside them now, and how they bumped into each other again.

"So, you are all really like me. How come I didn't find you guys before?" I asked.

"Well, probably because we all went our own ways after getting possessed-" Applepills explained, but was cut off by her impulse kicking in again, "Pills!"

"Seriously?" Rarifruit asked, then spoke up, "Well, I found Fluttershout here first, then the rest of you came to us." She rubbed her chin in thought, "Perhaps... This may be a bit farfetched, but perhaps our destinies are still within us after all."

"I have another theory, but I'll go with that." Drowned Frost smiled.

"Whatever that means, it must be good." Fluttershout agreed.

"Do you really think we can still work together?" I asked, cautious.

"Hey, I'm not objecting." Rainbine spoke up with a smile, "With these monsters inside of us, we're even better than before."

"Yeah... But what about Twilight?" Fluttershout asked.

I nodded in agreement, "Yeah. Seeing as we all, but Twilight, have become Pony Monsters..." Then I smiled, "Maybe we should form a group."

"How's 'Team Awesome'?" Rainbine smiled.

Rarifruit shook her head, "Preposterous!"

Applepills nodded, "And dumb."

"Party Killers?" I suggested, then thought back, "No... Wait... I still like parties."

We all rubbed our chins in thought, until we heard quite giggling. It was Drowned Frost.

"How about 'The Elements of Insanity'?" She suggested, then pointed to Rarifruit, "Avarice." To Fluttershout, "Ear Rape." To Applepills, "Obsession." To me, "Bloodlust." To Rainbine, "Cybernetics." To herself, "And Sorrow." Then to Twilight, "And Twilight makes Insanity."

"Wow..." Rainbine turned to her, "I never even thought of that."

"That is the most genius idea ever." Rarifruit smiled.

Then Applepills spoke up, "Uh, guys? What about Twi?"

Drowned Frost's POV.
"Well, we should make her one of us." Pinkis spoke up.

Applepills smiled, "Why not? Ah like this deal." Then her neck snapped and yelped, "Pills!" She frowned apologetic, "Sorry."

We gathered around the unconscious Unicorn.

"So..." Fluttershout began, "Who should we put inside her?"

Rarifruit rubbed her chin in thought, "I'd say Edo Soldier."

We all thought on the possibility, until Applepills hissed, "Piiillls…" But Fluttershout hit her across the head, "Okay... Party pooper."

"The Fadkiller?" Pinkis suggested.

Rainbine shook her head, "Pathetic names. All of them." Then she smiled, "What about this one dude named..."

She whispered the name into my ear. Brutal Christian Sniper. I smiled in delight of the name, "A name that sends shivers down my spine. I love it."

"What is it, Frost?" Rarifruit asked me.

"Brutal... Christian... Sniper." I answered.

Rarifruit smiled in delight and nodded, "A very interesting tale, that name has. Even crossing paths with him will be the last thing you ever do."

Fluttershout nodded and smiled, "It's settled, then. Let's go and put him in her."
