1 - Preparing For Judgement
The Whirring sounds of robotics hard at work in the Center was loud, loud enough to be heard from almost any room inside the entire Canterlot Castle. The clanking, the banging, the annoying sawing sound of robotic handsaws, cutting through metal with a screeching sound for hours and hours on end, caused Celestia herself to order her own personal guards to check out whatever was making the terrible sounds.
The guards entered inside of the Center, the large doors swinging open to them before they even put a hoof on it. They were greeted with the A.I in its bipedal mobile form. They stared at it for a little, knowing all to well that this robot would never malfunction, and there would have to be a reason for the ruckus.
"A.I, what is-"
"Call me Judge."
The robot said in its robotic voice, void of emotion. The guards looked at each other before they looked back at 'Judge'. There was no way there were calling this thing 'Judge', for it had no reason or purpose to the name.
"A.I, I repeat, what is-"
"Call me Judge."
It repeated once again to the guards. The guards sighed, knowing they would not win an argument with this intelligence. It had no human emotion or human persuasion.
"Judge, what is making the noise in here. It is causing the entire Castle to shake. Princess Celestia demands for an answer, and an order to cease whatever you are doing to create these ear-ringing, annoying sounds."
The Judge simply looked mused by the Guards, although without any real way to show it. The Judge simply stared back at them, the robotics in the back still hard at work, but went silent. It was odd, before they were loud. Now they have gone blank. Gone.
"This isn't right.. Something isn't right.."
One Guard said to the other, obviously looking uncomfortable and suspicious of the entire situation at hand.
"There is no reason for us to be scared. This 'thing' has never done anything to hurt us befo-"
Just then, a metallic pipe went straight through the guards' helmet, piercing through his soft flesh and through his skull. The other guard turned to the dead guard, looking down at his limp body with shock, unable to move from the sudden death in front of his own eyes.
"You. Come here."
Judge said, pointing a finger at the pony, who obliged, scared out of his own mind. He wasn't thinking properly and just was living on instinct at the moment, hoping that if he did what the A.I asked him to do, there would be no harm to himself.
"Step into the chamber."
In front of the two was a glass-like chamber. It opened, without even a button touch. It was now obvious that the A.I is able to control all electronics from his mobile body. The chamber looked safe enough, except for the Robot standing there, who had just killed one of his close friends.
The guard stepped inside of the chamber, the door closing quickly.
"You, unknowing pony, have stepped into a self-destruct mechanism lock. You will be unable to leave, and you will stay there until it goes off. I do not need your small minds to try to grasp my work at hand here. Your race thanks you for your sacrifice. Goodbye."
Judge an Early Tech Weapon, that shot projectiles. It wasn't sure how it was designed, but the Judge created it as means to defend itself from any harm. It had even studied magic, to learn how to counter-act said defense measures.
The guard started to cry and bash the window in the chamber, which was useless. Judge turned back to the guard.
"Have fun."
It said in almost a sadistic way, without any real emotion. Judge then left the Center, carrying its rifle with it. Judge knew that after the explosion, there would be mass panic and the entire Castle would be evacuated. The guards would be on high alert, and would set up a shield. They would then discover the dead remains of the two guards, both bodies exploded and dirty from the blast.
Judge knew that it would need to leave immediately, but without getting caught. How would it do this? It searched the database, its eyes lighting up blue while it searched through it. It found several articles and books written on how to get past security, how to be an expert stealth agent, and how to devise a distraction.
"Two minutes until blast. Must leave immediately."
Judge looked back at the Center doors, still hearing the screams of help from the guard. Judge then took a turn up the stairs and broke the lock, opening the door to the outside. The sun raised over his body, the shine off of him almost blinding to the eye. No one was around the door at the time, which was rare. There would usually be a few guards patrolling the area, to make sure that there would be no break ins. It seemed they had all left due to the extreme painful noises from down below.
Judge jumped off the side of the brick rail, gliding down the mountain on its slick metal back. Judge had made his own body into an extremely sturdy one, immune to magic as well. Judge built his weapons, his body, and everything else he had built, to be prepared for the Judging ceremonies to take place of each Pony in the Equestrian World.
Judge wanted to cleanse the society.
Judge would do this, no matter the cost.
Judge finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain, after scaling and sliding down the cliffside of the entire mountain. Its body scratched up, but with a little shining and some new metal, it would be repaired good as new.
Judge looked into the Mapping Database, looking at the coordinates of Ponyville, heading straight for it with each small step. It decided to look over its plans before hand, to make sure there were no errors in the plan. It checked the planning four hundred times before it even made it halfway to Ponyville.
Judge then suddenly stopped. What was it doing..? In order for it to become powerful, it needed to know the mindset of real ponies. Real emotions.
Judge searched long and hard in the database, looking for anything it could scrap up to learn what emotions are and how to develop them. It found psychology books, therapeutic studies, counseling tips, anything at all to help it develop its real thinking mind.
It set up a cloud database, to store all of these findings. He would scan the entire world for these finds, searching over and over until he had enough to download the cloud into his mind and take real emotions.
By now, Canterlot was in deep trouble. The entire city being in panic after the explosion went off, each civilian carefully evacuated from the site. Guards on high alert, ordered to seize anything that wasn't a civilian and question it. Celestia and Luna were looking in the Center, staring at one mangled body, and the few, few parts of the other guard after he was exploded into millions of pieces.
Judge would've smiled if he had the emotion to, and if he had the face to.
"Plan is set in motion. Cleansing Process, starting now. Activating Self Defense Mechanism 1190. Loaded."
Judge looked into the falling sun, as his blue eye turned red.
Author's Note
Wow..
This was a terrible first chapter. I know.
I hope this story is something of an original, because if any one else has done this then I just have not seen the story. If you do know one, please, tell me so I can read it and learn off of it if it was a good one.
I do take criticism seriously, and won't get mad at constructive criticism. If you're legitimately trying to help me, please, tell me what is wrong! If you know my stories, they are not good at all.
Since then, I have matured as of recently, and hope to be able to write not as cringy stories anymore. I hope you enjoyed this.
I was listening to "Epic Battle Music VI" on youtube during the writing of this.
