Chapters “Okay, careful…” *BANG* “Ugh.” Twilight Sparkle, a female alicorn, took off her lab coat and walk up the stairs, oblivious to the fact that something fell into the potion she was brewing, to lecture the pony that caused the commotion, though she had a good idea who it was. Twilight wore a tight fitting shirt and pants, showing off her B-cup breasts and soft butt. “Hello, Rainbow” Rainbow Dash, a female pegasus, gave a small chuckle and rubbed the back of her head. She wore her normal clothes, a loose t-shirt and track pants. She had her goggles on her forehead. “Do you think you could be a little quieter? I’m trying to brew a potion.” This caught Rainbow’s attention.
“What potion?” asked Rainbow with her normal level of tack.
“It’s nothing special. It’s supposed to just change your appearance.”
“How is it supposed to do that?” asked Rainbow with a tilt of her head.
“It changes the pigmentation of your…” Twilight trailed off at the confused look on Rainbow’s face. “It changes the color of your hair.”
“Oh, well, why didn’t you just say so? Good luck.” Rainbow flew out of the castle quickly.
‘Did she think I was going use the potion on her?’ thought Twilight before going back to her lab. Though not as bad as Rarity, Rainbow did care about her appearance. She even scheduled secret spa appointments and went when she thought no one was looking. Twilight didn't understand the reason for hiding it, but she wasn't Rainbow Dash.
"AHHHH!" This was the sound that woke Spike and Starlight up. They quickly left their respective rooms and ran towards Twilight's. The door was locked and Starlight couldn't teleport in there due to a bubble Twilight had put up.
"Twilight, are you okay?" asked Starlight through the door. They waited for an answer and got it in the form of a note slipped under the door. "Yes, just surprised by something." She read. "What surprised you so much that you lock your door?" another note came under the door. Spike picked up and read it.
"I somehow messed the potion I was brewing." said Spike before panicking. "What happened? Do you have two heads? Three eyes? Is it Twilight Flopple?"
"What?"
"She and the other got exposed to poison joke and i gave them nicknames based on how they were affected. I'll tell you later." another note came with just the word no. "What is it? We can't help you if we don't know what we're helping with." another note came. "Promise not to laugh?"
"We promise that we won't laugh. Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Said Starlight as she and Spike went through the motions. The bubble receded and they were about open the door. They were surprised when a rainbow blur shot past them and broke down the door.
"I heard a scream. Is everypony..." started Rainbow only to trail off at what she saw. Her face changed to show disbelief and shock, a face that was soon copied by Spike and Starlight. In the room was Twilight, but there was a major difference was that she was now a he. Spike then turned and walked out of the room. "Wait, where are you going?"
"It is way too early in the morning for this." said Spike as he walked down the stairs. "I'm not sure if I'm more surprised by Twilight's gender change or the fact that, after everything that happened to our group, I'm still able to be surprised."
"So, you said the potion did this?" asked Starlight.
"The hair changing potion did this?" asked Rainbow in disbelief.
"it is the only thing that makes sense." said Twilight with a deeper voice that came with the change. "I don't remember messing up the instructions, so maybe something else happened."
"Hey, I know that this is a big problem, but I'm going to change out of my pajamas." said Starlight as she realized that she was still in her nightwear. "Do you think you can handle him, err her?"
"Yeah, no problem." said Rainbow as Starlight left the room. As soon as she left, Rainbow turned to Twilight. "How does it feel?"
"What?"
"You know what? Being a guy. I'm certain that everypony must have wondered at one point what it would be like to be the opposite sex."
"It feel uncomfortable. none of my clothes fit and all of my clothes were made for females. other then that and some physical change, it isn't that different. It is still early, so i may be regretting those words."
"Can I see your wings?" at her raised eyebrow, Rainbow continued. "I want to make sure that the change didn't affect them negatively." Twilight turned her back to Rainbow and proceeded to spread her wings to their full length. Rainbow walk closer to inspect the body part and caught a whiff of Twilight's scent. She suddenly felt hot under the collar. her breathing grew heavy and she had to stop herself from touching herself. The heavy breathing was heard by Twilight though.
"Is everything okay?" said Twilight, afraid of what happened to her wings. "Did something happen to my wings?"
"Your wings look great. It wasn't affected by the change." said Rainbow between pants.
"Then why are you..." Twilight was cut off by Rainbow spinning her around and slamming her lips onto his. they fell onto the bed where Rainbow proceeded to straddle Twilight and continue the sudden make out session. she seperated, but before Twilight could recover, she took off her shirt and bra, revealing her small A-cup breasts and erect nipples, before going in for another kiss. This is what Starlight walked in on. she was now wearing a buttoned up shirt and jeans. She was about to turn around and leave, but saw the panicked look in Twilight's eyes. She ran over and forcefully pulled Dash off of Twilight. Dash shook her head and blushed after realizing she was topless.
"What just happened?" Rainbow asked, echoing the thought going through everypony's mind.
"You just tried to force yourself on me." said Twilight glaring at Rainbow.
"I know, but why?" asked Rainbow, putting her clothes back on.
"Just what happened after I left?" asked Starlight, clearly confused. "Maybe we can figure this out?"
"Well, we were talking about how she was feeling about the change and I didn't feel anything then." said Rainbow, now fully dressed.
"Then she asked to see my wing just in case." Twilight added. "That was when she started acting strange. I heard her breathing grow heavy."
"I don't know why, but I suddenly grew really really horny."
"Her wings?" she bend over to look at the body part in question. She, much like Rainbow, was exposed to Twilight's scent and proceeded to kiss Twilight passionately. Rainbow quickly pulled her off after recovering from her shock. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."
"The same thing that happened to me." said Rainbow before turning to the frozen Twilight. "you said the potion did this? maybe Zecora can help us out." Twilight shook her head and nodded.
"I made two doses. one to make sure the potion works and another to reverse it."
"Then why don't you take the other potion?" asked Starlight
"Because the potion wasn't the one I was brewing. we don't know what will happen if I take another dose. I might turn into a horse." said Twilight who was starting to panic. she was stopped by an apple hitting her in the head. everyone turned to look out the door and saw Spike eating another apple.
"I'm already dealing with this. I'm not going to also deal with a panic attack. At least, wait until lunch." said Spike as he walked off.
"Hey, why don't we continue this downstairs? I haven't eaten breakfast yet." said Rainbow as she left the room. Twilight, now surrounded by a small bubble, and Starlight, sporting a bright red blush, followed the rainbow hair female.
it was the afternoon and after getting some help from Rarity, Twilight now had clothes that fit her new body. he was now wearing a simple lavender long sleeved shirt and black slacks. "I'm sorry,but it feels strange to call you Twilight." said Starlight. at the questioning look she got, she added. "It's just strange to call you by a feminine name when you are currently male."
"You want to change my name?"
"a little." said Starlight with a sheepish shrug. "I was thinking about Dusk Shine."
"Dusk Shine?" parroted Twilight with an intrigued tone.
"Well, dusk and twilight are both events that occur after the sun has set. the relationship between sparkle and shine should be obvious." said Starlight
"Please don't ever say that again?" said Twilight with a slightly green face. Starlight went over her statement and realized what she said. She broke into fits of uncontrolled laughter. "It's not funny."
"Sorry, but it is to me." said Starlight as she took deep breaths.
"If it bother you that much, you can call me Dusk Shine." said the now named Dusk with a small smile. "I wonder if Zecora figured something out." as if on cue, the next thing they heard was *BANG*. "Talk about timing." they went to the other room to greet their pegasus friend. "So what did Zecora say?"
"I got bad news." Dusk's world fell apart at those four words. "She said she never seen a potion like that, so congrats on making a new potion. She said that she will need to do a couple of tests to figure out a cure."
"How long will it take?" asked Dusk with worry in his voice.
"She said if nothing goes wrong, it will take about fourteen days"
"FOURTEEN DAYS?!" yelled Dusk as he started to panic again. he was once again hit by an apple, courtesy of Spike.
"We only have an hour left before lunch. Your panic attack can wait." Dusk took a deep breath and fainted.

hey, i am incredible nervous about this story, so i hope you enjoy it. the story will be 16 chapters long, and like i said there will be sex scenes in the following chapters. if you don't like that, then why are you reading this?
Dusk was both angry and scared at the moment. He was mad at himself because he made a promise to help out around Ponyville and at Starlight for being right. She had a point when she said that he can’t lock himself up for fourteen days. He was scared because of the potion. The only things they knew about the potion is that it affect ponies who get physically close to him and it cause them to get aroused. They don’t know anything else and Dusk didn’t want to find out what anal sex feel like with him as the catcher. “Woowee, when Dash said you’d look different, I didn’t expect this.” Dusk was snapped out of his thoughts and, after criticizing himself for getting distracted, looked around. He was at Sweet Apple Acres, his first stop for today.
“Did she say anything else?” asked Dusk as he thought about slapping Rainbow for not be clearer.
“Just something about needin’ to be careful ‘round ya,” Applejack said with a shrug. Dusk couldn’t stop his palm from meeting his face.
“Yes, the potion that did this also had an interesting side effect. If someone gets close to me, they get extremely aroused,” said Dusk as a blush came across his face.
“There’s something else botherin’ you, ain’t there, sugarcube,” said Applejack with a concern expression on her face. Dusk sighed as he knew she wouldn’t leave this alone until he told her.
“Rainbow and Starlight both kissed me,” said Dusk. When Applejack didn’t say anything, he continued, “And I enjoyed it.”
“So the problem ain’t the kiss. It’s how you felt about it. Am I right?”
“Yeah. First, they only did it because of the potion. Second, they don’t feel that way about me. Third, I can’t date multiple ponies at the same time,” said Dusk as tears came to his eyes
“Well, I can’t say anything ‘bout the potion, but how do you know that they don’t have any feeling toward you?”
“They never showed any interest in me,”
“’kay, you’re wrong,” Dusk was about to say something, but Applejack held up her hand. “Let me finish. Tell me, have you heard Dash call anypony else, ‘Egghead’”
“well, no, but,”
“Don’t you find that weird? I mean, you aren’t the only smart pony that enjoy reading, but she only calls you that,” Applejack continued without giving Dusk a chance to say his opinion.
“Friends give each others nicknames all the times,” pointed out Dusk.
“Yes,” agreed Applejack, “but when she came here to tell me about the change, she was happier than a school filly on a summer day.”
“What about...”
“And Starlight should be obvious. I’m surprised you haven’t noticed yet,” Applejack said with a shrug.
“If they feel this way, why haven’t they done anything?” asked Dusk.
“Because they’re scared,” said Applejack.
“Scared of what?”
“Rejection, not being good enough, and a couple other things.”
“I wouldn’t reject them. Yes, it would be surprising, but I would at least give them a chance,” said Dusk. “What do you mean not good enough?”
“Even if you deny it, you’re a special pony,” said Applejack. “I mean you were the personal student of Princess Celestia, friend to Princess Luna, sister-in-law to Princess Cadance, Element of Magic, Princess of Friendship, and arguably the most powerful pony alive.
“But what about the other problem? I can’t date multiple ponies at the same time.”
“Is there a law against dating more than one pony at a time?”
“Well, no, but it wouldn’t be fair to them,” said Dusk.
“It wouldn’t be fair to not give them a chance because you’re afraid you’ll hurt one of them.”
“What should I do?”
“Give them a chance,” said Applejack before she turned around. “Now, come on, these trees aren’t goin’ to buck themselves.”
Dusk had faced evil tyrants, the embodiment of chaos, a changeling queen, a magic-absorbing centaur, going through time, and so much more, but nothing compared to the danger he now faced. His own friend, Pinkie Pie. Pinkie was already an affectionate pony that didn’t know the meaning of personal space, but who know what will happen with the potion? Unknown to him, Pinkie had snuck up on him while he was panicking. “Are you having a staring contest with Sugarcube Corner?” This caused Dusk to jump in shock. “Good luck. I still haven’t beat it.”
“Uh, no, I’m not having a staring contest with a building.” said Dusk after he got over his confusion. “I’m guessing that you already been told about the potion, right?”
“What potion?”
“Pinkie, do you notice anything different about me?”
“Dear Celestia, you’re right,” Pinkie said with gasp. “You’re a couple inches taller”
“No, well, yes, but I’m male now”
“No, that’s not it,” said Pinkie, clearly thinking about what was different about her friend.
“I need you to do something for me, Pinkie,” said Dusk after he decided to give up trying to explain things to Pinkie.
“Sure, anything. Well, not anything. I mean anything that is realistic and not mean. Like...” The rest of Pinkie’s statement was cut off when Dusk, without thinking, covered her mouth with his hand. Immediately after realizing his mistake, he pushed Pinkie into the bakery and didn’t stop until they were in the kitchen out of sight.
“Pinkie, are you feeling alright?” said Dusk while preparing to push his friend off of him if necessary.
“No,” said Pinkie with a straight face, “I’m hungry”
“You’re hungry? Hungry for what?” said Dusk a little confused.
“For something long, thick, and filled with delicious cream,” Pinkie whispered into Dusk’s ear.
‘She’s not talking about that, is she?’ thought Dusk with a gulp.
“Like a Twinkie,” said Pinkie, now using her normal tone of voice.
“What?”
“A Twinkie is a...” Dusk interrupted Pinkie.
“I know what a Twinkie is, but you don’t feel anything else?”
“Nope,” Pinkie said with a shake of her head. Dusk shook his head and decided that nothing goes how you expect them to when it involves Pinkie.
“So, other than making Twinkies for you, What are we doing today?” asked Dusk. Pinkie gave him a list of desserts that they need to bake for today. There were muffins, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, pies, and more. It took them around four hours to bake all of the food. It would have been shorter, but Dusk had to stop Pinkie from taste-testing some of the desserts.
“Hey, Dusk,” Pinkie said. Dusk was a little confused because he never told Pinkie his temporary name. He quickly got over it and turned to his friend.
“What is it, Pinkie?”
“You got some cream on your cheek,” Pinkie said pointing at the cheek in question. Dusk was about to wipe it off when Pinkie spoke up again. “Here, let me get it,” Pinkie then proceeded to lick Dusk’s cheek, causing his cheeks to turn bright red.
“What was that?” he asked as he tried to get over the shock of having his friend lick his cheek.
“Oh, sorry,” Pinkie said, “Did you want some?” Pinkie grabbed Dusk’s head and started kissing him, tongue and all. Dusk manage to get her off of him and, before Pinkie could recover, ran all the way back to the castle.

hey, sorry it took so long, but i recently started college again. I also had to stop at the twinkie part because i couldn't stop laughing. if you couldn't tell, i'm doing the main characters' reactions to the change first. next chapter is Rarity and Fluttershy. I'm planning on doing the first major sex scene around chapter 5, so sorry to anyone that is reading this just for the smut. anyone who say that Rainbow doesn't only call Twilight 'egghead', i want to point out that this is a fanfiction. I used to write for fanfiction.net and i had someone complain that my story wasn't following canon. hopefully there's no idiots here, but if there is, i will not talk to you.
Dusk stood outside of his friend's, Rarity's, place of residence, Carasol Boutique. Rarity already knew about the potion because they went to get new clothes from her. He was still nervous about being around other ponies, mostly due to the potion. So far, with the exception of Applejack, all of his close friends have been affected. Rainbow and Starlight both kissed him, though Rainbow was about to go farther. Pinkie is harder to tell if she was just being Pinkie or she was acting under the potion's influence. While he can't say he hated any of the kisses he received, he was already confused enough as it is. All this sudden affection from his friends is just confusing his more. Sighing, he walk into the building and was about to call for Rarity when another voice spoke.
"Who are you?" asked a young unicorn filly named Sweetie Belle. She wore her usual outfit, a simple yellowtshirt and a black skirt. She was also wearing her CMC cape, so that told Dusk that either she was about to go play with her friends or she just got done."You look like Twilight, but you can't be her"
"Well, Sweetie Belle, I'm," Dusk was cut off by Sweetie Belle.
"No, don't tell me," she had her hand on her chin and was clearly thinking hard about just who Dusk was. "I got it. You must be Rarity's Coltfriend from out of town. That's how you knew me even though I never met you." Twilight didn't know what to say in response to that and, thankfully, Rarity saved her from needing to.
"Sweetie, are you bothering Twilight?" Rarity asked. She was wearing a simple black strapless dress.
"No, I'm talking to your secret Coltfriend," Dusk heard Rarity groan into her palm. While he didn't have any younger siblings of his own, he did have moments with Spike. While he would always love him, Faust knows how much he gets on his nerves. Though, Dusk was certain that Spike would say the same thing. In his distracted state, he didn't notice Sweetie getting too close for comfort. As soon as he noticed, he jumped away from her. Rarity, knowing how the potion affect ponies, quickly pulled her sister away from Dusk. "Why did you do that?"
"Sweetie, do you feel weird?" asked Dusk, now a comfortable distance away from the young filly.
"I feel confused," said Sweetie. "Can someone please explain what's going on?"
"You don't feel any affection toward me?" asked a surprised Dusk.
"Sorry, but you're a little too old for me"
"Interesting, the potion seem to have no effect on younger ponies," mumbled Dusk. Taking this small break from the insanity that happening, Rarity explained to her younger sister the situation.
"Sweetie, This is Twilight,"
"No, it's not. Twilight's a mare, not a stallion,"
"You see, I am Twilight," said Dusk. "I messed up a potion I was working on and this was the result".
"Why did you drink a messed up potion?"
"I didn't know that it was messed up," Dusk said with slight annoyance.
"Can you make it again?" asked Sweetie, her tone excited. "I want to know what it's like to be a boy". As soon as she finished her sentence, both Dusk and Rarity both yelled their disappoval at the idea.
"Sorry, but I can't," Dusk said slowly. "It was an accident. If I knew how I messed up, you wouldn't even know about the potion" Dusk heard Sweetie give a sigh in disappointment. "and I probably wouldn't be as confused," he added quietly. Unfortunately, Rarity heard and quickly made Sweetie leave before pulling out her fainting couch.
"I was planning on just having you pick up some materials for my dresses, but after hearing that you are having trouble," said Rarity with a horrified look on her face. "Why I couldn't stand aside while my friends suffer. So tell me what the matter and I will do my best to help you"
"It's fine," Dusk said. "I already talk to Applejack about it"
"But it is still bothering you," said Rarity, poking Dusk in the chest. "So, while I don't doubt the fact that Applejack did her best to help you, maybe you need to hear another pony's opinion to help you feel at peace."
"Maybe you're right," said Dusk. "Thanks, Rarity"
"No problem, Twilight"
"Oh, right," Dusk said, feeling stupid for not remember earlier. "Starlight wasn't feeling comfortable with calling me Twilight while I look like this, so until I get changed back, I'm going by Dusk Shine"
"Dusk, hmm?" Rarity said slowly. "Okay, it will be kinda awkward trying not to call you Twilight, but I'll do my best"
"I know you will," Dusk said with a smile. "Do you know the other effect of the potion?"
"If you're talking about the increase in arousal, then yes," Rarity replied with a small blush on her face.
"Because of it, Rainbow, Starlight and Pinkie all kissed me," Dusk said. "I don't know what I should feel. I want them to do it again, but I also wish they never did it in the first place"
"Go on," said Rarity as she adjusted her glasses.
'When did she put those on?' thought Dusk before he shook his head. "I want to show them the same love, but if I choose one, I will have to leave the others". Tears now fell from Dusk's eyes. "I don't want to date all of them because I don't know if I can balanced dating all of them at the same time. I don't even know if they would even consider sharing me"
"Did you talk to them?" asked Rarity as she let Dusk cry on her shoulder. "You can't assume that they'll automatically say no"
After finding Sweetie and telling her stay at Applebloom's house for the night, then going to Applejack's to tell her why Sweetie needed to spend the night, he was now walking toward Fluttershy's cottage. On his way there, he found him face to face with Discord. He was wearing a grey tuxedo with a matching top hat and cane. "Going with the showman look for today?"
Author's Note
Next chapter is going to be a date between Dusk and ???. Well, I have a person planned, but if i see enough request for another character, then i'll do that character instead. After that, Chapter 5 will have the first full sex scene and who it will feature will be affected by chapter 4. Finally Chapter six will give more information about the potion.
"I'm sorry, but could you repeat that?" asked a slightly confused Applejack.
"I want to take you out on a practice date," said Dusk. "I sent a letter to Cadence, telling her the problem, but still haven't heard from her".
"Why me?" Applejack asked as she tried to process the request.
"Well, you're my friend," explained Dusk, "and one of the few ponies I can trust to be completely honest with me".
"Why not a pony like Rarity?" asked the middle Apple sibling. "She's better at this whole romance thing". Dusk's cheeks redden at the memory of what happened at the carousel boutique. "She got too close to you, didn't she?" Dusk just nodded. With a sigh, Applejack continued, "Okay, there is just one problem".
"What is it?" asked a worried Dusk.
"Tell me, do you think that Rainbow would like the same kind of date as Starlight?" asked Applejack. Dusk thought about it for a bit before agreeing with the farm pony.
"Probably not," said Dusk. "But what should I do?"
"First, relax," said Applejack as she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder. "While I still don't think I'm that great at this romance, I do know that there's no such thing as a perfect date".
"But who do I asked out first?" asked Dusk.
"That's up to you to decide," said Applejack. "but if I had to choose, I would say Rainbow". At Dusk's questioning gaze, Applejack explained the reasoning behind her decision. "Well, you don't live with her. If things don't work out during the date, you wouldn't have to worry about constant awkward situations while you eat breakfast. Sure, if your date with Rainbow don't go well, you'll have some awkward encounters. Just not as much as Starlight".
"I'm still not sure," said an uncertain Dusk. "How am I supposed to choose between the five?"
"Whoa there, nelly," said a surprised Applejack. "What do ya mean five?"
"Well, while I visit Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy, they each kissed me," Dusk told his friend.
"And based on your expression, you liked those kisses, didn't ya?" asked Applejack rhetorical. "I still say to go with Rainbow first."
"Okay," said Dusk as he sighed. "I would give you a hug, but..."
"I know, I know," chuckled Applejack. "Do ya think a thank you handshake would be safe?"
"It might, but do you really want to risk it?" jokingly asked Dusk.
"Good point," agreed Applejack. "While I like you, I'm pretty sure that I don't like you that much". This caused both of them to chuckle. Because of this, they didn't notice a cross-eye mailmare flying toward them. Derpy bumped into Dusk, which, like a set of dominoes, called him to fall onto Applejack, knocking both down. Before Dusk could collect his thoughts, Applejack have already caught his lips in a forceful yet loving kiss. It took a moment for Dusk to gather enough contention to teleport away.
"Faust dammit," mumbled Dusk as he appeared in his bedroom. 'How am I supposed to handle this?'
"I'm guessing that Applejack also fell for your charm?" said Starlight in a questioning tone. Dusk just groaned in response. Starlight chuckled in response. "I'll tell Spike to make some tea to help relax you". Dusk mumbled into his pillow. "Yes, yes, I know how you like your tea".
Dusk somehow fell asleep while trying to figure out his confusing emotions. He was woken up when Starlight shook his shoulder. He leapt back in slight fear, but was both surprised and confused when she didn't show any symptoms that he was used to. In fact, she seemed normal. 'So touch isn't what caused the effects' thought Dusk. 'I wish I could experiment with this, but I can't do that to my friends'.
"Sorry for waking you," said Starlight, "But the tea is done and a letter came from Princess Cadence. so I thought that you would want to know that". Starlight placed the tea and letter on a nearby table before leaving. Dusk let out a sigh before picking up the letter. Reading it, he was a bit surprised at what it said.
"It's nice to hear from you. Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, and I are all doing great. About your problem, I'll have to visit you to see if the potion is having any effects on your love connections, for a lack of better words. I am a bit worried, to be honest. Did you ever wonder why, out of everypony, a princess was chosen to be your foalsitter? After meeting you, I asked to be your foalsitter. I did this for two reasons. The first reason was to have an excuse to be near your brother. The second reason was because the amount of possible love connections you had. Love connections are invisible strands of love magic that connect two possible soulmates. Most ponies have a minimum of two love connections. Very rarely do they have only one, but they do exist. However, you were the opposite. You seemed to have a near infinite number of love connections. The strongest of these connection were connected to your friends. That was also something strange I noticed about you. Normally, after meeting the pony that you'll end up marrying, the other love connections will begin fading. Your connection to your friends only seemed to get stronger as time went by. Yes, a couple connections did die out, but you still had a large amount of connections. Last time you visited us, I counted a total of fourteen connections. The reason I never told you this is because I don't want to make someone feel like they have to love someone. The only time I used my magic to affect someone's love connection was when I saw that either pony don't have another possible love connection. Is it irresponsible?
