Derpy and Dinky were stunned as they entered the Castle Of Friendship. Being their first time in a real castle, they didn’t know it looked good or amazing, but their minds settled on choice two.

“You two sit down, I’ll go wake up Spike and Starlight and tell them what happened”, she said while pointing towards the sofa.

Derpy and Dinky nodded and sat down, with Dinky snuggling her mother.

Twilight made her way up the stairs, making it to Starlight’s room first.

“Starlight, get up, I have something to show you!”, she slightly shouted.

Twilight heard trotting getting closer to the door, and backed up when Starlight opened it,

“What is it Twilight? It’s 12:30 in the morning”, Starlight said while trying to straighten out her mane.

“Sorry Starlight, but it’s very important. Go wake up Spike and meet me downstairs”, she said to her student.

Starlight yawned and nodded, making her way towards Spike’s room.

Twilight went down the stairs to greet Derpy and Dinky, Who were casually snuggling.

Twilight looked at Derpy and smiled, she found the display adorable.

“She looks adorable Derpy, your very lucky to have her”, Twilght complimented.

“Thank you Princess”, Derpy said.

“Please Derpy, call me Twilight”, Twilight corrected her.

Derpy nodded and the two sat in silence for what felt like hours.

Derpy stared at Twilight longingly, she was beautiful.

Derpy hadn’t told anyone of her crush, or even that she was into mares. She had always thought Twilight was pretty, but since she became a princess, the feelings were heightened. It often became a distraction at her job, but she didn’t care, she was just happy.

Derpy just smiled goofily, only to be noticed by Twilight.

“Whatcha thinking about?”, Twilight said as she sat down next to her.

Derpy snapped out of her please thought and nervously answered,

“Uh, n-nothing, just thinking about something”, Derpy replied blushing.

“I know that, but what were you thinking about”, said Twilight, smiling friendly.

Derpy didn’t want to say what she was thinking about, but she didn’t want to lie to the Princess of Friendship either.

“S-Somepony I have a crush on”, she blurted out, instantly regretting her word choice.

Twilight’s face light up,

“Ohh, Who is it?”, she said with an excited grin.

“Uh—“, she was about to say but got interrupted.

“Um, Twilight, what is Derpy doing doing here? And who is that filly with her?”, said Spike.

“Well Spike, Derpy and Dinky are here because.........well”, Twilight said, trying to find the best way to put it.

“Our house burnt down, and Twilight said we can stay with her”, said Derpy with a blush.

Starlight and Spike looked at each other, and then Spike spoke up,

“Oh, this won’t end well”, he said nervously
