On the beautiful plant of United Equestria, home of the most powerful fighting force in the dimensional universe, Starfleet. Lead by the powerful Commander Lightning Dawn and his many friends. They gave faced many challenges and enemies together, but nothing could prepare them for what was about to happen.

It all started one blissful day. Lightning Dawn, a white human-like alicorn with a golden horn was walking down the street in his home, New Ponyville with his best friends:

Starla Shine: Lightning’s loving wife, and expert astronomer and astrologist: ID-Code: KY1M

Buddy Rose: an expert gardener, ecologist, and tree surgeon: ID-Code: FT5H.

Artie Bristles: A masterful artist in painting, sculpting, carving, you name it. ID-Code: HV7J

Rhymey: A poet, song writer and café proprietor, who always spoke in rhyme. ID-Code: XL7Z

The Spanish Twins, Dyno and Myte La Guava: Born on the Planet El Mundo, and the sons of a Starfleet General. Brilliant geologists, expert miners, movers, construction team, and explosive experts: ID Codes, IW8K and JX9L.

Also his long-time fairy friend, Krysta. They were walking down the street when they heard a faint moan.

"Did you guys hear that?" Lightning asked.

"Yeah. It sounds like it's coming from that alleyway." Starla answered, "Let's check it out."

The others agreed and followed Starla into the alley. Garbage cans with half eaten food on the sides, dirty and grime were on the floor. The ponies suddenly stopped at a moving cardboard box.

"Shhhhhh." Lightning said. He approached the box and carefully opened the box. He gasped in horror.

"What is it, Lightning?" Buddy asked.

"Take a look." He replied. The others looked and gashed as well; inside the box was a unicorn covered head-to-toe in dirt! She appeared to be unconscious.

"Galloping Galaxies! What happened to her?" Artie asked, horrified.

"I don't know but we better do something fast! She's burning up with a fever!" Lightning stated as he kneeled down and placed a hand on the mare's head.

"Let's get her to the medical wing in the royal palace." Buddy suggested.

"Right. Their majesties will know for sure,
What she needs for a cure." Rhymey agreed.

Lightning picked up the mare in his arms and Starla wrote a letter to their majesties. Soon, the ponies rushed to New Canterlot. The mare was immediately emmited into the sickbay, while the ponies were in the throne room with two very special ponies;

One female in a light golden gown with a white top showing her cutie mark of the sun.

The male was a tall, white male alicorn with a short dark mane with images of space flowing like a picture. He wore jewel-encrusted golden armor with doublets on each side into it, a red cape with gold markings fluttering on his back, even though there was no breeze. He had golden pegasus wings, black boots with golden edges round the feet. Atop his head were three golden horns, all shimmering like the stars.

They were Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler Celestio, the rulers of United Equestria and Co-Commander and Commander of Starfleet.

The ponies all bowed to the two rulers.

“We've received your message Lightning Dawn." Grand Ruler said.

“How is she, your majesties?” Artie asked.

“When you brought her in, her fever was very high. Luckily, we've managed to break it in two hours. She is now recovering." Celestia explained.

"However, it appears she's been in some kind of battle. We've found several injuries on her." Celesto added.

The ponies gasped softly.

"Can we see her?" Starla asked.

"Indeed, follow us." Grand Ruler approved.

The gang follow the pair into the medical wing. Entered the recovery room, they saw a freshly clean pink human-like unicorn with a pink horn. Her mane and tail were aquamarine with a purple streak going on down. Her clothes were in shreds and the hole in the side of her pants showed that she had no cutie mark.

Also, the unicorn was covered in bruises and scratches. Bandages were covering her head, arms, legs and torso. She looked like she'd been through a war!

"Ay' carumba!” Dyno cried.

“Poor chica.” Myte added.

“Will she be okay?” Starla asked.

“I believe that she will make a full recovery.” Grand Ruler replied. Everybody sighed in relief.

Suddenly, the mare began to groan and she opened her eyes and saw other ponies looking at her. "Wh-What happened? Where am I?" The mare asked nervously.

“Don't worry, we won't hurt you, I’m Lightning Dawn,” Lightning introduced, “and these are my friends: Starla Shine, Buddy Rose, Arite Bristles, Rhymey, Dyno and Myte La Guava and the fairy is Krysta. Finally, the rulers of United Equestria, and Commander and Co-Commander of Starfleet, Grand Ruler Celesto along with his wife Queen Celestia."

“Hello”, “Hola”, “Greetings.” Lightning’s friends, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia replied.

“H-Hi." The mare greeted back.

"Do you have a name, young one?" Queen Celestia asked. The mare nodded

"My name is J-Jewel Crystal, y-your majesty.” she added nervously.

"How old are you, Jewel?" Grand Ruler asked.

"I'm eighteen years old." Jewel replied Jewel looked nervously at the ponies.

"Um, if I may ask, what's Starfleet?" Jewel asked.

"Starfleet is the most powerful fighting force in the dimensional universe, known for fighting off evil and injustice. Lightning Dawn and his friends are part of Starfleet." Grand Ruler explained. "Okay." Jewel replied.

“Jewel, how did you get so injured?” Starla asked.

“Well, all I remember was that I attacked by two figures. They kept blasting me with their magic. I got tossed all over the place." Jewel started.

"So that's how you got covered in all that dirt." Starla stated.

Jewel nodded and continued, "I saw that one was a big humanoid pony with a red horn, dragon wings and bull horns and the other was a bug like alicorn with holes in her legs.” Jewel explained.

The gang was in utter shock and disbelief!

“It cannot be!" Grand Ruler exclaimed.

“I thought we got rid of them!" Starla exclaimed.

“‘Ay' Carumba!” Dyno screamed.

“Not them again!” Myte said.

Jewel looked at them all confused. “What? What's the matter?" Jewel asked.

"Jewel...those two ponies who were chasing you..... were two enemies we believed were gone forever. Their names are King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis." Grand Ruler explained.

“Who are King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis?” Jewel asked.

The Grand Ruler explained everything about King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis's origins to Jewel all the way up to where the ponies destroyed Sombra and imprisoned Chrysalis, but he seems to have returned and Chrysalis broke free from prison somehow.

“They won't come after me again, w-will they?" Jewel asked fearfully.

“No. You are safe here, Jewel,” Buddy declared.

"And we won't let them get you. Friends protect friends." Dyno promised.

"We're..... friends?" Jewel questioned.

"Si," Myte added. Jewel smiled.

“Lightning Dawn, after Jewel has recovered from her injuries, I want you and your friends to show Jewel around New Ponyville, her new home.” Queen Celestia said.

Everybody gasped!

"R-Really?!." Jewel asked

"Of course. You'll be living with Lightning and Starla." Queen Celestia added. Lightning and his friends nodded. Jewel smiled with joy.

“Now onto more pressing matter. We must place wat laws immediately! Who knows what King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis are planning.” Grand Ruler added.

High above United Equestria in their very own spaceship, Chysalis and Sombra were in their throne room. The two of them had gained new powers from finding an all powerful orb within the lair. They named it the dark orb; the orb was black with sparkles inside. It gave Sombra and Chrysalis incomparable strength and speed. Also, Chrysalis managed to create an army powerful new changelings. These changelings were faster, smarter and more agressive than her old subjects.

Finally, they have made three new minions out of the dark orb's magic.

Carla: A female humanoid eagle with wings that had sharp edges on them.

Swift: A male humanoid cheetah with blinding speed and agilty.

And finally, Bron: A male humanoid bull with deadly ramming power and kicking power.

"Together, my minions, we will make Starfleet pay for all the suffering they caused us!" Sombra and Chrysalis announced. Sombra, Chrysalis and their minions laughed maniacally.

"Finally, we will bring Starfleet to their knees!" Chrysalis added.

In our next episode; Lightning and the gang show Jewel around New Ponyville. The tour get interrupted when Swift arrives with a powerful monster. During the battle Jewel starts to show some powerful magic of her own.
