Sombra and Chrysalis were up in their spaceship in the thorne room and their minions were present.

“So what’s the new plan to destroy those annoying ponies, your majesties?” Swift asked.

“Well we’ve taken an interest in a certain creature in New Tartarus…… Lord Tirek.” Sombra stated.

The minions gasped. Tirek was a centaur who can use his dark magic to steal ponies magic.

“Are you sure your majesties?” Carla asked.

“Of course were sure.” Chrysalis scoffed. “With Tirek In our side we will bring this measly ponies to their knees!” Sombra stated.

The minions liked the sound of that. “So what’s the plan?” Swift asked.

Sombra and Chrysalis chuckled and explained the plan to them.

Meanwhile, Lightning and friends were at New Canterlot for some training, including Cadence and Shining Armor. Jewel was sparring with Lightning and was doing really well.

Lightning tripped her but before she hit the ground, she caught herself and came back up and punched Lightning in the chest. “Nice.” he commented.

Jewel was about to use her magic to paralyze him when...

“Hold.”

The ponies turned and saw Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia standing in the doorway. “Very impressive Jewel, you’ve grown into a fine fighter.” he commented.

“Well I’ve had a great mentor.” Jewel replied, referring to Lightning. He smiled at his student.

Suddenly, Captain Shania came into the doorway, breathing heavily and she’s turned to their majesties. “Your majesties! Your majesties!” she cried.

“What is it Captain?” Celestia asked.

Shania caught her breath, “I’ve just received word form new Tartarus. Lord Tirek has escaped!” Their majesties exchanged looks of concern and the ponies, except Jewel, gasped in horror.

“Who’s Lord Tirek?” she asked.

“He’s a big meanie pants who can steal other ponies magic!” Pinkie exclaimed.

“Do you how he escaped, Captain?” Celestia asked.

“No.” Shania replied. Grand Ruler said. Their majesties exchanged looks of concern and immediately held a netting in the throne room. Soon, everybody was present. “We cannot allow Tirek to roam free.” said Luna “If we don’t recapture him at once, all of United Equestria will be in grave danger.”

“But how?” Jewel asked.

“Yeah, that big brute will just absorb our magic, like he did before.” Applejack stated. This made the ponies worry even more. “Can he absorb your magic too?” Jewel asked, referring to Lightning and the space ponies.

“Fortunately Jewel, space ponies like us are immune to absorption magic.” Lightning replied.

“Unfortunately, equestrian ponies, like the girls, Luna, Cadence, Shining Armor and myself are not.” Celestia stated. “We must stop Tirek as soon as possible.” Celesto stated.

“But if we face him, he’ll just suck the magic out of us.” Applejack objected.

Celestia sighed deeply “It pains me to say this, but we cannot risk it. We have decided…” she paused a moment “…to give up our own magic and hide it away where Tirek will not get to it.”

Everyone gasped in the deepest of shock and concern. “Give up your magic!” cried Artie.

“But if you do that, and the Tirek does attack,
You’ll be defenseless; you won’t be able to fight back.” added Rhymey.

“This is something we are quite aware of…” said Luna “But as my sister said, we cannot take such a risk, but know this…” she said as she eyed the girls, Cadence and Shining Armor. “Fear not, your powers will be well cared for. We have chosen the safest place for them.”

“Where?” asked Pinkie.

“Not where, but whom…” Grand Ruler said. “Jewel will absorb your magic; Transfer and keep them within herself. Doing this will also increase her power dramatically.”

Lightning gasped in concern.

“M-Me! Why me?” Jewel asked.

“We don’t not believe Tirek is aware of the powerful magic that you hold inside. If we transfer our magic to you, Tirek will not know where it has gone.” Celestia explained. “But what if Tirek comes after Jewel?” Lightning asked with concern. “Mareep reep! Arf Arf!” Suddenly, Mareep and Rockruff came in front of Jewel.

“Reep reep. Arf Arf.”

“Mareep and Rockruff said ‘we’ll keep her safe, promise’.” Jewel translated. Thought the ponies were not entirely convinced with this, knew it was their one and only shot.

Lightning sighed. “Okay, do it.”

Celestia, Luna, and Shining Armor and the mane five all stood in a line together as Jewel stood before them. He nodded his head saying she was ready. Then all the ponies concentrated hard, sending their magical forces from their bodies and into Jewel..

When the transfer was finished, Jewel was floating in the air, glowing brightly. The light diminished and Jewel landed on the ground. The girls, and the royal ponies checked their flanks and no cutie mark was present. They’ve all lost their cutie marks.

Queen Celestia sighed, “It is done.”

“Jewel Crystal, you now have our powers. Hopefully we will reclaimed them.” Luna added.

Suddenly, the alarms went off and Goldwin burst into the throne room. “Guys! It’s horrible— come quick!”

“Calm down Goldwin— what’s wrong?” Grand Ruler asked.

“It’s Tirek! He’s in the village stealing magic!”

Everybody gasped. “Let’s go!” Lightning called. The two teams transformed…

“STARFLEET MAGIC!”

“HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!”

They flew out of the palace, heading straight towards the villages. Meanwhile, Tirek ws enjoying absorbing the magic from the Equestrian ponies.

An army of space ponies and the pegasi, including the Wonderbolts charged Tirek, however, he just deflected the space ponies off like common flies and he zapped them all, causing them to lose their ability to fly, “Going down.” he sneered. All the ponies fell like rocks.

“Tirek!” a voice yelled. Tirek looked and saw the ponies. “Ahh. More pathetic ponies trying ‘tis too me.” he sneered.

Suddenly, he sensed a strong magic coming from Jewel. “I sense one of you has great power. I must have it!”

Jewel tightened the grip on her staff and began to shake nervously, “Don’t worry Jewel, we won’t let him get you.” Pinkie promised.

“Just to be safe, you should go and hide somewhere.” Lightning suggested. Jewel nodded and called, “Starburst!”

Her vehicle came out of the palace and picked her, Mareep and Rockruff up. She drove them all far far away.

She drove them to the Everfree Forest near the Castle of the Two Sisters; where Queen Celestia, Princess Luna and Grand Ruler Celesto used to live. Now it was really torn up and looked like it was falling apart. Jewel landed in the front of the castle.

“Looks like we’ll be hiding here for a while.” she said.

Mareep and Rockruff whimpered with worry, “Don’t worry, I’m sure the others will beat Tirek and we can go back. Right now we have to hide so Tirek doesn’t get the magic that I have.” Jewel explained.

Mareep and Rockruff nodded and they began walking around the castle. They soon made their way to a large carven with a staircase made from rocks going down.

“What’s a staircase doing here?” Jewel asked herself. “Only one way to find out.” Jewel walked down the staircase with Mareep and Rockruff at her heels.

She saw a cave at the bottom and entered it. Inside was a crystallized tree with the center of it being a star, like Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark and Queen Celestia and Princess Luna's cutie marks on the trunk as well.

“Woah.” she gasped in awe. “What is this?”

“This is the Tree of Harmony.” a voice replied. Jewel turned around and saw Twilight Sparkle’s spirit floating to the ground.

“Twilight?”

“Hello Jewel.”

“This is the Tree of Harmony? What is it?”

“It is a powerful and magical tree that control all that grows in the New Everfree Forest and it is where Queen Celestia and Princess Luna first discovered the Elements of Harmony.”

Suddenly, Jewel’s Animal Staff began to glow as well as the tree. The five branches sent out a color beam from its branches that matched the mane five. Five of them hit the staff while the middle sent out a purple beam at Jewel too.

The staff and Jewel glowed and her clothes transformed into armor and she gained a headband around her head with falcon wings on the ends.

Now her staff changed into a sword with the six stones in the blade.

When it was completed, Jewel was in awe. “What just happened?”

“The Tree of Harmony made you a Valkyrie of Harmony, just like my friends and the Queen.”

“But why?”

“Since you’ve came here you’ve shown five of six Elements of Harmony and once you’ve shown the sixth you will unlocked the Valkyrie magic.” Suddenly Jewel and her sword glowed and she changed back into her normal clothes and her sword became a staff once more. “What happened?” She asked a little disappointed.

“Don’t worry you still have the Valkyrie magic, but you need to show the Element of Magic and then you shout out ‘Valkyria’ in order to activate the magic.” Twilight instructed.

“Okay.”

“Suddenly Mareep and Rockruff came rushing down the stairs and into the cave, in an extreme panic. “What’s wrong you two?”

She got her answer when she heard, “MAJOR JEWEL!!!”

Jewel gasped in horror. “Tirek!”

“You have something that I want.” Tirek stated. Jewel was in a panic. “Wha- What do I do?”

“You have to fight him.” Twilight said.

Jewel gulped at the sound of that, “Fight him?!”

“It’s the only way he’ll be defeated. Remember you have Valkyrie magic now. You can do this.” Twilight encouraged as she disappeared.

Jewel took a deep breath and teleported into an open field where Tirek spotted her. “Finally, you have something I want. Now give it to me!” he stated.

“Never!” Jewel blasted a large magic burst at Tirek, making him scream in pain. Tirek tried to punched Jewel into the ground but she teleported away. She blasted another burst of magic at Tirek, he shielded himself with his own magic, but Jewel’s power consumed him in a large explosion.

“Now I see what your friends have done.” he sneered.

Jewel took out her Animal Staff, “Rhino Spirit, Arise!” The ghostly image of a rhino came out of the orb and rammed Tirek multiple times. It threw him up into the air where Jewel blasted him.

He came crashing down to he ground, miraculously unscaved.

The rhino spirit returned to the orb. That’s when Tirek levitated Jewel up to his face! Jewel struggled to get free but Tirek threw her into a mountain, “AAAHHHHH!”

BOOM! Jewel collided with the mountain side. Luckily, she used a shield to protect herself. Tirek came flying in and rammed Jewel right through the mountain!

Recovering from being winded by the massive impact. She got on top of Tirek and blasted him hard. He crashed into the ground leaving an small crater in the ground.

Tirek stood up and Jewel walked up to him with an arm around her stomach and a clear facial expression of pain. She stopping only a few feet away. “It seems we’ve reached a disagreement Major. How about a trade?”

He snapped his fingers and behind him, floating in the sky were nineteen bubbles, each containing her friends, including Mykan and Midnight.

“Their release for all of the magic you have in your possession.” Tirek offered.

Jewel gasped in horror. All of her friends cried out telling her not give him the magic.

“So what’s it gonna be Major?” Tirek asked.

“Don’t do it Jewel!” Lightning called.

“We’re not worth it!” Starla added.

“Don’t give him your magic!” Mykan added.

“If you give him your magic, we’re all doomed,
We will be gone by noon!” Rhymey cried out.

Tirek grew very impatient. “ENOUGH! I WANT AN ANSWER AND I WANT IT NOW!” he thundered.

Jewel looked at the mane five and the Queen. A rainbow stripe went across their bubbles as they were all looking at Jewel with pleading eyes. The same rainbow colors reflected in Jewel’s eyes.

She knew what she had to do.

“...... I will give you my magic... in exchange for my friends.” she said.

Everybody gasped in horror while Tirek smilies victoriously. “As you wish.” He snapped his fingers and all the bubbles came to ground, popped and freed her friends.

“Now for your end.” Tirek said. He levitated Jewel up to his face and used his magic to steal Jewel’s.

But nothing happened!

“What?” Tirek tried again, but the magic didn’t enter Tirek’s mouth.

Even the teams were confused. “What have you done?” Tirek asked.

“Nothing.” Jewel squeaked.

“Well, if I can’t absord your magic, I’ll just have to destroy you.”

“ NOOOO...!” the ponies cried.

Jewel closed her eyes, waiting for the final attack and Tirek prepared to blast Jewel to ashes when a large beam came and hit Trek engulfing him in an explosion and if forced him to let Jewel go. “What the-?” Lightning said.

When the smoke cleared, Tirek was still standing and Jewel was gone!

“Jewel! Where’d she go?!” Rainbow cried.

Suddenly, up in the sky, they heard a loud roar and a large gray draconic Pokémon with gold half rings circling the back of its neck. Its head has a gold crown-like object surrounding it with two large horns pointing sideways. Also, it has two large black ghostly wings with red tips that can resemble claws. These wings can change shape as if it's a liquid or gas. Its six legs are thick and clawed. The ponies sighed in relief when they saw Jewel riding on top of the massive creature.

“What in United Equestria is that thing?!” Lightning cried.

“That’s Giratina!” Mykan cried.

“Who?” Artie asked.

“It’s a legendary Pokémon that can travel through dimensions at will!” Mykan explained.

“Travel through dimensions!” their majesties cried.

“Wowie!” Pinkie cheered.

Giratina roared and charged Tirek. It rammed him and blasted Tirek with a large ball of fire energy. “Ahh!”

Giratina roared softly and Jewel nodded. She lept down from the ginormous pokémon and yelled out “VALKYRIA!!”

In a bright flash, Jewel changed into her Valkyrie form, much to the surprised and shocked of her friends.

“Jewel’s a Valkyrie now?!” Rainbow cried.

“When In the world did that happen?” Applejack asked.

“No idea!” Buddy stated.

Tirek simply smirked at Jewel. “You think that little trick will save you?” he sneered.

“Yes I do.” Jewel replied.

“Well you are sorely mistaken BLAZE OF DESTRUCTION!”

The blast heard right for Jewel but she blocked it with her shield. Jewel dashed up to Tirek and slashed him in the chest multiple times, causing much damage to him.

“LION FORM, ENGAGE!

Jewel changed intolerance lion and with her Valkyrie magic, she was even more powerful.

”WILD CHARGE!”

Jewel charged strike and covered herself in her Valkyrie magic and spirit magic. She rammed into Tirek sending him flying! The others were shocked amazed by Jewel’s new power.

“Look at her go!” Midnight said.

“Back and forth,
To and fro.” Rhyemy added.

Tirek snarled and Jewel’s horn begin to glow in a mystical light. Suddenly the friendship ponies and the Queen changed into their Valkyrie forms and their shields went up to Jewel and circled her.

“What’s going on?” Starla asked.

All of the shields glowed brightly as well as Jewel’s and they all came around her with the symbols of the Elements the girls represented glowed too. They each shot out a beam of color at Jewel’s horn and she roared and launched all of the power at Tirek.

He screamed in pain as he felt all the magic he’d stolen being taken away and when it was done, he was back in New Tartarus.

The magic from the attack sent out a large wave of magic across the kingdom, giving the equestrian ponies their magic back including the Mane five, and the royal ponies and restoring all the damage done during the battle.

Jewel floated down to the floor and the six shields went back to their owners. Jewel changed back into her normal self and clothes. Breathing heavily, she looked at her friends right before she collapsed.

Beep Beep Beep

Jewel opened her eyes and saw many blobs in front of her.

“Is she gonna be okay?” asked the orange blob.

“Ooh, I’m so worried.” whimpered the yellow blob. Jewel’s vision cleared and she clearly saw all of her friends.

“Hey Jewel.” Starla said softly.

Jewel rubbed her head and saw bandages on her stomach, arms and her chest. “Wh-What happened?”

“You collapsed after you used your Valkyrie power.” Mykan explained.

“And Giratina?”

“It went back to its home.”

“Your Valkyrie powers.... are.... awesome!” Rainbow cried. “Totally epic!”

Everybody chuckled, but when Jewel chuckled she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. “Ugh!”

“Easy Jewel. You’ll need lots of rest.” Fluttershy said.

“Where’s Lightning and their majesties?” Jewel asked. As soon as she said that, the appeared in the doorway. “Did somebody call for us?” Lightning teased.

Jewel smiled at the sight of her teacher. “How are you feeling?” Lightning asked.

“Sore.”

“Well you’ll be fully recovered in a few days.” Queen Celestia said.

“But right now we’d like to ask you something Jewel.” Grand Ruler added.

“Yes, your majesty?”

“How didn’t you manage to acquire Valkyrie magic?” Grand Ruler asked.

“Well.” Jewel we th on about everything from the Tree of Harmony to Twilight. When she was done, everybody was shocked. “You’re a new Element of Harmony?!” Starla cried.

“And the Tree of Harmony gave you a Valkyrie magic?!” Buddy added.

“Yeah.” Jewel replied. Suddenly, Jewel’s neck glowed brightly and a golden necklace appeared with a pink sapphire gem in the middle.

“Cool.” Lightning said.

“Wowie!” Pinkie cried.

“Simply Incerdible.” Grand Ruler stated.

“But what Element of Harmony do you represent?” Rainbowasked.

“That’s something that will be revealed with time.” Grand Ruler replied. The doctor came in an ordered everyone out of the room, saying that Jewel needed all the rest she could get. Everybody did what they were told and left the room.

”You’re growing into a fine fighter and friend, my brave pony” Lightning thought as he exited the hospital and went home.

In our next episode; Jewel stumbles upon Twilight Sparkle’s old home, The Golden Oak Library. Her friends start to see Jewel’s interest in the house and decide to let Jewel live there.

However, when Sombra sees this a capture opportunity, can the ponies protect Jewel?
