Nopony will argue that love and friendship are two of the most powerful aspects of life that can turn even the coldest of spirits warm again. The ability to make friends and, eventually, find love, acts as the balance between harmony and chaos. That being said, there are those times when even that balance is challenged and, under the right circumstances, love can rear its ugly head in the form of unmatched jealousy and betrayal. Button Mash found himself on the receiving end of this wrath when he witnessed a particular event that would swiftly end his relationship with then pony he considered his one true friend - Sweetie Belle.

Now, many moons later, Button finds himself confronting the past yet again, unsure of whether to proceed with caution or with open arms. Part of him wishes that he could forget the whole ordeal and move on with his life while another part keeps urging him to set things right between him and Sweetie. What he does not realize, however, is that he is not the only pony involved who has the same fears and doubts as he does...
