In the land of Equestria, bat ponies were a rarity, only to be seen as Princess Luna’s guards, or live in a tiny village at Hollow Shade.

In Equestria, there are bats, and there are vampire bats. Vampire ponies run amuck all over Equestria and other parts of the world. All of them, one way or another, serve under the dreaded Vampire King, King Ironheart. Without Celestia’s knowledge, Luna has done her best to contain the problem, but when more and more ponies started disappearing, either ended up dead and turned over to the king. When talking failed, Luna made the ultimate decision, to hunt the turned ponies and destroy them. She could not do it alone, so the Princess of the Night created a secret elite team of ponies, hunters, in hope to dwindle Ironheart’s forces.

While celebrating her Bachelorette party, Crimson Rose, an apple farmer pegasus was abducted and taken to the kingdom of Transylmane-ia, a land where eternal darkness lies and continues to spread all throughout Equestria where she catches an eye of the King of the Vampire Bats and was personally turned into a creature of the night to serve beneath his hooves. Crimson wasn’t going to submit so easily.

Just as things were about to take a turn for the worse, an ally approaches Crimson, soon the two escaped the kingdom. Setting up the motion of an all out war.
