Rings.

“Celebrimbor’s hammer. I must test if it works, Doctor.” I say at breakfast the next morning.

“I’m the second richest pony here, other than princess Twilight with her acces to the armory, so tell me what you would need.” The Doctor says, ever helpful.

“Mithrel, I need Mithrel. An anvil, and a trip to the nearest volcano.”

“Sure, I can do that. What are you making by the way?”

“Rings, Doctor, the Rings.”

“Can’t say I know what your talking about, but okay.”

*1 week later*

Getting all the molding was time consuming, just like all of this, but now I just need to hammer them. We are standing in a volcano that was previously a dragon cave, and I start hammering.

Raising up the hammer hard, I bring it down as hard as possible. When I strike the Rings this time, I am blasted back by magic.

I look back up at the anvil with the Doctor, and see two ghostly people. Sauron And Celebrimbor! They take off their two Rings, and put them over my one ring of power, and hammer one last time. A blast of energy comes out, and can be felt all over Equis, causing earthquakes and tsunamis. New power has arrived!

The two turn to me and say, “Use it wisely.” Before vanishing.

*2 days later.*

World gathering held in Canterlot!

Yesterday, Princess Twilight was said to receive a box of unknown orgines. She sent said box to Celestia, where she found that there were 14 Rings In there, and a note that said.

10 Rings to the world leaders, for peace and prosperity.

7 Rings to the Princess’s and the commoners, both noble and just.

3 to be givin to friends, and those around me.

And one, givin to the creator, one ring to rule them all.

Princess Celestia says to look for any pony with new rings, so they can find the creator of what has been dubbed, the Rings of Power, for they grant things who wear them power.

I read outloud, looking over at the Doctor admiring the power the Ring gives him.

The One Ring! Everything is at least 5X more powerful!
