Luna rises the moon and now it's my shift along with many other night guards. I walk past the Day guards and they glare at me like always, they don't really like night guards because we have cooler armor and color and we can see in the dark they don't like me and personally I don't like them ether, so at least we're on the same page, I mean I don't hate all of them but Most day guards are very narcissistic and usually push they're weight around a lot. and as I walk past a few right now and they shoot glares at me and I just glare back but ... I see one who looks away from me when I look at him.

He looks to be blushing but I can't tell past his armor, and he's missing a hoof shoe...Oh and most of them are idiotic to, but he seems to be different, because I don't see a narcissist when I look at him. I see a pretty shy stallion...he has a pretty nice flank to- wait what? No! stop thinking those thoughts!! Ugh, if there's one thing that's bad it's that, being homosexual is one horrible and two feeling that way toward and day time guard.

We're suppost to hate each other...Right? Ugh I don't even know anymore, but what I do know is that the Princesses are trying to clear all that up, they very much what the homophobia to stop in equestria but that might be impossible considering no one really takes what they say seriously. "NightAxe!" I hear the royal voice of princess Luna "will thou help me put up these Lavender flowers." She asks me as she levitates a whole bunch of lavender flowers to me, she's still a young princess and her magic can only reach so high.

"Oh course my princess" I say flying up and line the roof line with lavender flowers "Why do you do this again?" I ask her.

" I dost this so nay pony will yea any nightmare in the castle" she says smiling at me, she's a very pretty princess but once again a young one.

"Well I'll see you princess" I say and bow and walk off.

"Goodbye hast a pleasant night" she says opening the throne room.

"She may not be able to reach the roof but she can still rise the moon." I say while walking to my post but not before grabbing my axe and I stand in place.

*rustle*

Oh thank Luna "HALT!! WHO GOES THERE!?" I yell readying my axe for attack, and I see a morning guard, and it was the guard that was looking away from me "What th- what are you doing here?" I say lowering my axe.

"I uh...forgot my hoof shoe hehehe" he says showing his hoof, his pure white coat being shining in the moon light and his eyes a beautiful sky blu- UGH!! NIGHTAXE GET A GRIP!

" uh, okay well retrieve it." I say stepping aside, but he stands there looking timid. "Well?"

I say to him and he looks at me and says "I'm uh...Can you go with me?" He says and I hold back laughing.

"What afraid of the dark?" I says showing off my fangs.

"Uh no! I just uh, it's hard to see and you can see in the dark right s-so yeah....please?"

He says and okay you know what, fuck it, who the hell can say no to that face, "Alright, but stay out of the shadows" I say walking into the castle.

"B-but it's all a shadow!" He says I hear his voice trembling.

"Exactly..." I say as he slowly walks into the dark castle.

"A-a-all Right...I-I can do this, I-I'll be fine" he says clearly terrified.

"yeah..." I say fallowing behind him, and I had to catch my self staring at his flank every 5 seconds or so, jeez, why did it have to be plump!!

"Did you find it yet?" I ask.

"I think so...oh here it is" he says bending down, and okay come on I have no where else to look, he has a really nice flank okay! I give. He turns around with a adorable smile and says with victory in his voice.

"found it!" He puts out his hoof to show his hoof shoe.

"Yeah, g-great that awesome...can you go now?" I say looking away.

"Uh yeah...My name is Light Spear by the way" he says walking past me.

"...Dark Axe..." I say, watching him walk off...My heart is pounding...

Next day

Luna lowers the moon and celestia rises the sun and now it's time for me to get off my shift and I can finally sleep and I bump into a a stray filly.

"Oof! Oh i-I'm sorry" I see a pink young Pegasus with a rainbow like mane and pony tail timidly backs away from me.

"I-its *yawn* fine kid...What are you doing here?" I ask the young mare.

"I'm Just wandering..." she says looking behind her.

"that's great kid..." I say really tired.

"Oh! I'm mi Amore Candenza by the way, Celestia's adoptive niece." she says, wow Celestia has a niece huh? "So are you a royal guard? Your armor tells me that your a night gaurd, Is the night scary? Did you ever fight anypony? Did you ever arrest a pony?" She asks question after question and now my head hurts.

"yes ,yes, yes ,no ,no and yes..." I answer to her.

"wow.Are they're any day guards around yet?" She ask "I don't *yawn* know kid, but I uh...guess I see ya later" that filly must've been around 16 or so.

Later...

I finally make it to my room in the guard dormitory and I fly up and wrap my tail around a the pole and I hang upside down and let myself fall asleep in the darkness of my HQ, and....let's just say most of my dreams aren't pleasant.

I just see a bunch of flashes of what seem to be memories, but I don't recall them happening and they all involve, that stallion,
Light Spear...the last image I see is his lifeless body on the floor with a pool of blood forming around his motionless body and that's when I wake up and fall to the ground "AAAAHHH!!" I hit the ground with a thud and my heart is beating faster than a sonic rainboom. What the hell was that...look to my left and i see a apple with a note "I know that standing around can be Hungry work, so here's something to ease that, From Light Spear...wow" I look at the apple...

I think me and him will be good friends
