Chase, Meeting of the minds, and Psycho vs Ninjas

Aria had been reaching for the passenger side door, since Sonata wanted to drive, when she heard something above her. Looking up, she quickly jumped into the SUV as several throwing knives hit the ground where she had been. "Go! Go! Go!" She yelled at Sonata as the SUV went backwards just before several people in black came down where they had just been. Sonata never even slowed down as she plowed through some more people landing behind the SUV and spun into the street and taking off just before two other white SUV's tried to block off the alley. "Shit! Did you guys check to see if you might have been followed or if your new friend might have had help coming to get her?"

"Toshi said not to worry about it." Hotai said as Aria reached into the back with them and grabbed a case from the floor board.

"The same guy who wanted to kill our only lead and was ready to kill me over it." Aria said as she hit the button to open the sunroof as several more white SUV's and white cars chased them. "Exactly how much do you know about him?" She asked as she opened the case and pulled out a short golden bow and a strung it.

"He's always been around and the police in Japan don't seem harass us as much as they use to after he talked to them." Hotai said as she pulled Tsumeato's throwing knives out of her first aid kit and handed them to her.

"He says he works for the government as a go-between for us Yokai and the humans and always seems to know everything about everyone." Tsumeato said as she lowed her window and threw a knife at the tire of one car that had been about to ram the back driver side tire causing it to spin into another car. "Well except for gaijins. He seems to avoid gaijins, especially Americans."

"And since they seem to conceal their identities and haven't shown a single..." She then stood up and fired several arrows made of ice from the bow that just appeared as soon as she pulled the string back. Behind them several of the cars spun out as soon as they hit the iced over street from where the arrows had hit. ".... bit of magic or transformation they might just be normal humans."

"Go to hell plan or pretend nothing happened as soon as we lose these guys?" Sonata asked as she turned a sharp curve and headed straight through a alley way.

"No." Aria said as she pulled out her phone and texted Adagio. "We have what looks like an injured human woman in back and neither Tamamo no Mae or anyone we don't know about that might be involved wants too much attention. So I say we get really loud and draw a lot of attention to ourselves really fast." Looking up at where they where she then said, "Swing past Joe's then head for the hospital via the police station so we can pick up a police escort." She then turned to the girls and said. "Knock Toshi out with the baseball bat, switch his bindings out with your duct tape, and untie your sister and the tengu as soon as we pick up a few cops. She's heading to the hospital and he can hang out in jail until all of this is over with. Your sister saved the woman from a dangerous mad man by hitting him with her baseball bat. Congratulations Tataku, you're the big hero or you can join him in the adult jail since the juvenile detention center is closed after the huge jail break they had." She got a muffled sound that seemed to be an OK from Tataku just as she heard the first siren from the police car that was chasing them as the white SUV's and cars gave up the chase. Then she saw Hotai hit Toshi with the back before there was a blur of motion and Toshi was suddenly duct taped instead of being tied up with vines. "OK tengu, I much rather get answers, but if letting you get medical attention means I get to go home and eat pizza then you just got a get out of jail free card. Just remember to remain human and play the scared woman that just escaped being murdered by a lunatic with a sword. You three girls are the three youngest shrine maidens at a Shinto shrine we are paying to have built in Canterlot and don't know English yet. You will be very happy to see big sister Koemi and her girl friend Aiko, so act very shy around everyone until you see her and then go all smiles and win the press over with weaponized cuteness and adorability. Luckily children don't have to carry ID, so the cops should let it be until your new ID's are finished tomorrow. They would have been finished tonight, but now we need to edit Toshi out of them and insert Koemi as your relative." She then laughed and added as they skidded around a corner. "Toshi is going to have more problems than he realized since he pulled this stunt before getting his ID as well and is officially an undocumented illegal alien." With that they pulled into the hospital's parking lot and she turned back around before saying. "Show times girls, just stick to your parts and Tirek will handle the rest as soon as he get's here with Adagio and Koemi." She then jumped out of the SUV and grabbed the tengu out of the back while whispering, "Act like your barely awake from blood loss." She then turned to the cops rushing at her with the bloody stump towards them as she carried the tengu bridal style into the emergency room. The cops didn't even try to stop her as Sonata grabbed one of the cops and began one of her confusingly crazy tales about what happened while pointing to a knockout Toshi and explaining what 'happened' and then pointing to the 'hero' of the day. Just before the doctors and nurses took the tengu from her she whispered, "You owe us big time for this." and then she was gone, taken away on a gurney as Aria turned and went to help Sonata bamboozle the cops into arresting Toshi and create such a scene that they made the news as an extra layer of protection from who ever they had been.

In a split second everything just slowed to a stand still as Tamamo no Mae reached into her deep well of power, calling on one of her most powerful and hard to control abilities, time. To be more precise she was briefly stepping outside of it and reaching into other timelines to pool her knowledge with other versions of herself. She saw hundreds of ghostly versions of herself before several firmed up and became more real.

"I know none of you have an exact solution to my current problem, but I am hoping you can shed light upon a possible solution." She said.

"My version of how this played out saw Rarity die at my feet when she physically attacked Scootaloo in front of the tengu. Between Rarity fighting all of the tengu and Scootaloo has greatly damaged our equipment, reduced our fighting force, and I will now have to use Scootaloo in her place elsewhere." One Tamamo no Mae said with a look of disgust. "You must avoid this since I am currently preparing to evacuate Canterlot since the plan has become nonviable right now and will be relocating to Washington D.C."

"With the death of Scootaloo at the hands of Rarity the tengu have abandoned us. My plan is in complete ruin without their numbers, the new tengu they took with them, and their scientific and technological know how. You must insure that Scootaloo lives or there will not be enough to rebuild elsewhere." The next Tamamo no Mae said.

The next one was blood splattered and heavily injured. "I was forced to have to renegotiate with Lilith after the two of them killed each other and the remaining tengu abandoned us." She said. "Seeing an out right Daemonic invasion force in Canterlot provoked a nuclear response from one of the other nuclear armed nation before we were ready and resulted in a devastating magical wave from the crystals below Canterlot that acted as both a global electro-magnetic pulse and had unforeseen mutagenic properties on 45% of the human population. I am currently on the run with a bounty on my head from Heaven, Hell, what remains of Humanity, various groups of Yokai and other Magical Beings, and the newest magical power in this world, the Equestrians. What ever you do you must have then shield spell up and running before..." Suddenly a flaming sword burst from her chest and she faded out of existence.

The one after that wore an orange prison uniform with glowing shackles and cuffs. Her eyes had a dull look in them and her star ball was cracked and barely flickering. All but one of her tails had been chopped off and one of her fox ears was missing as she sang to herself in a cracked, crazed voice. "~CoMe oN EvEry PoNy SmiLE sMIle SmIlE. GiVe mE a SmIle aS WIdE As A mIlE~" Over and over she sang it before Screaming, "FEAR THE COMING OF THE PINK ONE! SHE OF THE STRAIGHT HAIR AND A RAZOR BLADE SMILE!" With that she was just yanked backwards and disappeared with an unearthly scream of pure animal terror.

"I told Tomoyo to explain what an intern was to Scootaloo in a way she would understand. Then I explained Rarity that Scootaloo was now newly reborn and was as close as a goddess amongst the tengu, explained how protective tengu could get about any young tengu due to their low natural birthrates and hinted that having what was effectively a goddess on her resume would do wonders for her fashion career after we were out in the open." The last one said. "Trust me, I saw trying to deal with both on my own would be impossible so I delegated Scootaloo to Tomoyo while she is still in a slight daze from her transformation and focused on Rarity since she looked like she was the one who would actually throw the first punch with how angry she still is about Anon-a-miss. Also Aloe and Lotus are professional enough that they will wait until after the drama has died down before delivering whatever message Lilith has sent you."

"Thank you." She said as the remaining ones faded back into their own realities. For a moment she thought about the crazy one and decided that choosing Rarity over the Pinkie Pie girl had been the right call. Something about the idea of giving that girl dark magical powers had made her stop and shudder and now she felt she knew why. There were some people that should not be allowed anywhere near certain types of power.

Finally she let time begin to run normally once again, ready to deal with this problem head of.

Pinkie Pie danced around the mansion as she cleaned while sing along with the music on the sound system Sonata had installed. Adagio had said something about an emergency and left with the Koemi and Aiko. Not that she let it bother her since Adagio had trusted her enough to give her a key awhile ago and told her to just lock up when she left. She had just finished wiping down everything in the kitchen and was about to mop when she decided to grab a soda from the fridge real quick. As soon as she opened the fridge her left pinkie started to twitch around the same time she heard the door bell. She knew if her butt cheeks tingled it meant something was going to fall, but what did a twitchy left pinkie mean? With a shrug she skipped through the house to the front door and asked, "~Who is it?~"

There was a brief pause before she heard an accented voice say, "Delivery for Koemi Tamamo and Aiko Yamagata."

She opened the door and felt something sting her arm as she looked at the people in some kind of flat black armor and masks. Looking down at her arm she saw a dart as she started to get sleepy. Looking back up she said, "I don't think you're doing a costume slumber party... right..." Before one of them caught her as she collapsed from the tranquilizer. They quickly deposited her on the sofa as they entered the house as she softly giggled in her sleep... Only the giggling started to get creepier as the song changed to the nightcore versions of songs playlist. As they spread out through the house to search it none of them kept an eye on her or saw her smile become vicious or her hair straighten out as her eyes shot open with a crazed look as Pinkamena said, "Life's a party and party crashers aren't welcomed." As HER song, not the other her's song, came on she reached into her long straight hair and pulled out a kitchen knife and a cleaver and gave each a kiss on their engraved names. First 'Hack' the cleaver and then 'Slash' the kitchen knife. Then she began singing with her song while instantly ponying up.

Asuka was in the kitchen when she heard the singing coming from the living room and walked towards the door to find out what was going on. The youngest member of a Japan's quasi-military government backed private corporation that dealt in supernatural defense who's members were known only as the Seinaru kishi then stopped as the singing was coming from behind her. Spinning around and swinging her blessed katana at where the voice had been and found nothing just before her legs were both hacked off and her throat was slashed open from behind before she even hit the floor. As she bleed out, unable to scream through the cut vocal cords and windpipe, she felt someone take all of her kunai's, then she was on the kitchen table with the girl straddling her. "To bad I don't have time to throw you my type of party, but you'll be dead in less than a minute. So instead I'll give you a kiss good night." With that she kissed Asuka at the same time she shoved her knife into her heart killing her. "I hear my kisses are to die for."

Daichi and Hiroki were working on breaking the passwords on the computers they had found with their laptops and were being taunted by a light mulberry colored cartoon pony calling herself A.I. Ria and a light yellow colored cartoon pony calling herself A.I. Dagio insulted them and their families in Japanese. Then they heard singing behind them at the same time their laptops glitched before showing a blue cartoon pony with a sign that read 'Go get them Pinkamena!!! So.Nata.Pony, A.I. Ria, and A.I. Dagio!' They both spun around and found the girl from earlier, only she was blood splattered and grinning. All three cartoon ponies covered their eyes with their hooves just before the screaming began and as the webcams on the computers recorded the fast and bloody one sided fight and the message written in blood on the wall, 'To my biggest fans, Pinkamena.'

Through out the house the thirty five members of the Seinaru kishi met bloodier and bloodier deaths as they found doors without locks suddenly had locks and windows were suddenly unbreakable. At one point ten of them had regrouped together in the hallway near the bedrooms. Then she just appeared in the middle of them and redirected two katanas with her knife and cleaver into the hearts of two other members before back flipping and driving her feet into the face of a third. She rode him down to the floor with a horrible wet crunch as his skull broke like a raw egg. With a giggle she launched herself straight into them as while spinning through the air like a demented top and painted the walls and ceiling with four of their members blood and body parts. She landed into a somersault that ended with her then spring up in front of one very surprised man while saying only loud enough for him to hear, "Duck." With that she suddenly dropped as two katanas stabbed into his chest and through his heart. The last two of the ten never stood a chance as they spun to confront her and found themselves nailed to the wall with the katanas of the other eight driven through their arms and legs before having their heads nailed to the wall with their own katanas.

Hideaki waited with the Ofuda in hand for the Yokai knowing he had one shot at this. As soon as he saw her he threw the paper talisman at her and shouted, "Akuryō Taisan!" to activate it.

Pinkamena tried to look at the piece of paper stuck to her forehead before reaching up and pulling it off. Raising an eyebrow at the dumbfounded man she asked, "You do realize that this isn't Japan and these don't work on..." The piece of paper then caught fire and harmlessly burned away in her hand. "Huh? Why did I hear a woman's voice and what does 'Īe! Kore ni taisho shinaide kudasai!' mean?"

"Would you believe it translates loosely to 'Nope! Not dealing with this!'?" Hideaki asked nervously.

"I can live with that." Pinkamena said before she was across the room and slammed him into a wall. "Now there are only two of you left and I'm getting bored. So I'm thinking that I might let you live if you help me with my pesky little virginity problem... Nah!" With that she buried her cleaver in his crotch while ripping out his throat with her teeth before spitting his Adam's apple in his face and driving her knife through his eye and into his brain. "I'm not really into creepy old guys with a ninja anime fetish."

Toshiko quietly crawled to the front door hoping she could somehow get it open before she found her. She had felt her luck was finally changing when instead of killing the young Kōmori right away, the Seinaru kishi had imprisoned her since she was the first of her kind they had found for study and then sent her on this mission to capture one of the new type of yokai that had shown up around Canterlot here in America. They had promised that if she did good they would release her. Had she had known about what they faced the young bat yokai would have stayed in her prison cell and suffered more injections and painful experiments.

She had ditched the armor, mask, and helmet at one point, setting them up to look like another body, and changed to her other form to use her larger ears use her echolocation to sort of see/hear where she was. Sure, she was now crawling around in the nude, but even the bra and panties they gave her was made for humans and hurt her wings membranes that stretched down her sides from her wrists to her ankles. So here she was crawling with her underwear in one hand and shoes in the other and hoping she was at least due a little luck on her 18th birthday.

Quickly checking with a series of chirps that was too high for a human to hear she found that the bodies were gone and saw her cleaning a wall. Only each and every chirp showed her in a different room. Chirping again she saw her looking in her direction. "Ā, kuso! Ā, kuso! Ā, kuso!" She screeched as she ran for the door while dropping her shoes and underwear as she clawed at the lock before unlocking it and running out the door and into several girls. Seeing them she kept screeching 'Oh Shit!' in Japanese as she took flight while they clamped their hands over their ears in pain. She was just passing one of the second story windows when it opened and a pink blur tackled her out of the air. Slamming into the ground she briefly saw the pink demon grinning at her before she passed out.

Author's Note

I felt that a smart, experienced person in a car chase not involving the cops would end it by getting the cops involved. Sure they had to give up the world's most unluckiest tengu I decided was named Mari, but no real lose. Poor Mari, beaten over the head with her own arm by a pirate, chased through town by ninja weasels and a psychopath badger, knocked out with a baseball bat, almost killed by said psychopath, and now she has to pretend to be a feeble mortal for now.

Because of Tamamo no Mae having made a deal with an unknown power she actually two types of Kitsune. She was born as a Jikan (time) Kitsune, but due to her long term corruption she is also a Kukan (void or chaos) Kitsune. Her time powers are harder to control than her chaos powers due (not surprisingly) to her chaos powers, but they do afford her a few advantages. She can slow time to a stand still to analyze the situation (think how the world freezes when in VATS in fallout 3 or New Vegas) or consult herself from a different timeline, but is unable to interact with the world around her while in this state. She also can see a few seconds into the future in a fight, this means she sometimes dodges even before you take a swing. Finally she can double and triple or half and quarter her personal time some what, this means by altering her own time she can run and fight up to three times her normal speed or slow herself when falling in order to avoid injury.

Just one word on Pinkie Pie getting her hands on certain powers and artifacts or awaken the part of herself she buries deep inside with all of her darkest thoughts.

I feel I should point out that this Pinkamena has access to Pinkie Pie's Pinkie Sense and a dark version of her 4th wall breaking abilities (Pinkie Pie's gets stronger the funnier it is and Pinkamena's gets stronger the more terrified her victims become) as well as her own ability: horror movie physics. Injuries that would kill anyone else are just a flesh wound to her, she is faster and stronger than her victims, and just when you think she is dead or you have finally escaped, here she comes again and even worse than before.

So.Nata.Pony and her two new sisters had to make an appearance in this story somewhere. What have they been up to, do they have any new friends and have any crime bosses just found their bank accounts stolen by our favorite crazy A.I. pony? We'll see.

I haven't decided if I will make Toshiko a part of this story or give her another chance to run screaming for the hills.
