Night Fang And Loki

October came sooner than anyone was expecting and with it, the polls for prom king and queen at the Winter Prom opened up for everyone to cast their votes, for Night Fang however, this meant he'd have to find ways of doing his campaign without any hitches, especially since Blackheart still held his blackmail threat over Night Fang and with a certain teen that up and left, nothing was that simple anymore.

Sigh "Where are you Loki?"

Since his brother just up and left, things round the house had become tense, Adagio barely spoke to any of the others, her sisters were having no luck either with her, the months were tough on her and unfortunately it showed at breakfast when only Sonata and Aria walked down already dressed making Sunset give a worried glance to Night Fang as he stood up and performed his routine of the older brother figure which were the following:

. Get up

. Get Dressed

. Make Breakfast

. Wake Adagio

Repeat

And in that order as well, and to say these 10 months were hard on Sunset and co, that was an understatement.

Later

The day itself dragged for the group, Night Fang had fallen asleep during his prom king debate against Blackheart which turned everyone in the school against him and began siding with Blackheart as the more appeal able choice, Sunset Shimmer's debate went slightly better but she was starting to lose her voters when Twilight joined to run for prom queen and got 16 more votes than Sunset Shimmer, giving people a sense of deja vu, but to some, they almost forgot about the third candidate making everyone wonder, where was Adagio Dazzle?

Geography Class

"Can anyone tell me what the city of Las Pegasus is known for?"

The teacher asked and a few hands raised to answer the question, but Adagio was more focused in writing her paper for her mid term than where she should have been at that moment. Recently she had been having strange encounters with guys in and out of school as she had thought they looked like Loki, the guys however weren't complaining, they had a hot chick pulling them aside which frustrated Adagio every time she tried.

"Wish I could tell you how I actually feel Loki"

Adagio muttered to herself before feeling a pleasurable sensation shoot up her spine until she realised where it was coming from.

BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Adagio's phone began vibrating loudly against her seat causing everyone in her class to stare at her which caused her go beet red in embarrassment.

"Excuse me a second."

Adagio asks and the teacher nods as Adagio quickly excuses herself and walks out of her class just to answer her phone. As it continued to vibrate with 'All Star' playing again to announce the caller was trying to reach her again, Adagio walked to the nearest room and answered her phone in solitude.

"Hello"

"Adagio, its me"

The voice down the phone said making Adagio's eyes widen and tear up slightly at who was finally speaking to her after so long.

"Loki, where are you?!"

The voice down the phone sighed before he continued speaking.

"I'm in the school building, I've just been to the principal's office to let her know I'm back, but she also told me you didn't go to your debate, why Dagi?"

Adagio giggled nervously

"Oh, did you consider the fact that you, I don't know, up and left everyone..."

Adagio paused as she felt tears sting her eyes but held her ground before firmly speaking again.

"Give me one good reason I should forgive you for leaving and making us all worry!"

"Turn Around"

Adagio did as the phone instructed and there he was leaned against one of the lockers, smirking at her from where she was stood in the room as she did a double take before just letting everything go and opening the door and sprinting towards Loki.

As she clasped her arms round his neck while he did the same but with hands round her waist before they stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity until she placed her hands on his cheeks

"You're really here."

Loki nods with a smile towards Adagio until the she did something completely justified.

Punch

This caused Loki to absent mindedly rub his cheek for a few seconds while staring at Adagio who went from loving to fuming in 5 seconds before going on one of her tirades.

"YOU HAD YOUR BROTHER, YOUR FRIENDS AND ME WORRIED SICK, WHAT IF SOMETHING HAD HAVE HAPPENED TO YOU."

Loki couldn't help but smile at how adorable Adagio was when she was getting angry at him before she spoke again but this time she noticed the look he was giving her and decided to set him straight.

“Oh no, no amount of sweet talk will stop me being mad at you this time Loki, no matter how cute you are.”

Loki couldn't keep the smile off his face as calmly took her hand making her blush at the gesture before pulling Adagio in for a kiss which she greatly accepted, when they did pull apart, Loki was the first to speak.

"It's not much Dagi but how about we go catch a movie after school, you know to make up for the stunt I pulled ten months ago, I hear the movies are good this year."

Adagio nodded but not before hesitating at the offer, if she did say yes, this would be hers and Loki's first date together, if she said no however, then she'd have to contend with a heartbroken Loki who went through all the trouble to ask Adagio out on this date, so with mind made up and smile on her face she answered.

"I'd love that"

Loki laughed happily, he couldn't believe she said yes, that was until a sudden realisation hit him like a brick through a window.

"I know the movies date sounds really cliché and cheesy but it's all I could think of."

Adagio laughed and to be honest could you blame her, Loki was back and was now her boyfriend, no debts, no strings attached and no worries, but there was something else he had to do while he was there and it did involve Adagio.

"Come on babe, if we hurry up we can get to your debate in time"

Adagio looked at her watch in horror before sprinting with Loki in tow as the two tried to make it to the debate hall in time.

At the auditorium

"Vote me and the school will become a better place where we can all walk these halls and feel safe to do so again."

Sunset Shimmer slammed her hand on her podium causing the crowd jump slightly to got her point across before smiling gently at the now awake crowd which gave Sunset their undivided attention.

"Also, a friend asked me to pass on a bill for Taco Tuesday since her sister couldn't join us today if I am appointed prom queen."

Sonata shouted excitedly from the bleachers making everyone laugh at the siren, the mood soon changed when the doors burst open revealing Adagio to the crowd and the guy everyone took notice of as he walked confidently with Adagio holding his hand from nervousness as helped her up onto the stage before he joined causing everyone to stand and get a good look as Adagio stood on stage with none other than...

"LOKI"

Night Fang did a spit take with his drink that he had in his hand as he saw his little brother on stage, in the flesh, with Adagio holding his hand making him smile as Loki took to the mic and addressed the school from where he stood.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Adagio Dazzle"

The moment Adagio took the mic, the poor girl couldn't speak without the crowd booing the siren making her cringe and shrink away from the podium, that was until Loki stepped forward and with enough boom in his voice to match the royal canterlot voice, he nearly made the room shake in the process with how much force he put into his tone.

"SHUT IT"

Silence descended upon the hall, heck even Night Fang was stunned at the strength behind his little brothers voice, Sunset and Twilight slowly backed away from the angered teen who smiled sheepishly at the two girls before turning back to the crowd.

"What in the name of orange flavoured and chocolate sprinkled ice cream do you think you are doing, this poor girl wanted the chance to speak to you, yet you boo her? Listen up and listen good cause I won't tell you all again."

The entire room took notice of Loki as he weaved his words in a way a commander would his troops before they headed into battle causing everyone to listen to his reason why Adagio should be voted queen before stepping down so he could let Adagio speak for herself but all she could come up with was.

"Vote Adagio...Loki's girlfriend"

All the girls D'awed while the guys booed Loki except Night Fang who decided to get out of his seat and run to the stage to be there for his brother and Adagio who earned an ovation from their classmates.

Later

With the hustle and bustle of the school as gym class started for the boys and girls, Loki was busy helping Adagio with her prom queen campaign in the lunch hall away from the classes as he showed her a million things she could use for her to win over voters, but at this point despite the votes she received, this was pretty much a two horse race between Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer as no one would vote for Adagio again making Loki feel bad until an idea struck him making Adagio wonder what was going through her new boyfriends head.

That Night

As Night Fang was busy preparing dinner for everyone, he heard the sound of his girlfriends car pull into the driveway with everyone who lived there inside, as he hears the door open to 5 hungry girls and Loki who could smell Night Fang's cooking from where they stood.

"That smells divine Night Fang."

Twilight said with a smile to the male as they all sat round the table, Loki sat with Adagio and Sunset waited patiently on her boyfriend, over the ten months, Night Fang and Sunset Shimmer had gotten together after Night admitted one day he was falling in love with Sunset, the feeling was mutual and now they'd been together 5 months, however when they told Twilight, on the surface, she was happy for the two, but deep down, she was hurting inside.

As Night Fang dished up the food for everyone, they thanked him before they began eating, taking this as her queue to start making conversation, Sunset spoke up.

“Babe this is delicious, I never knew you were such a good cook.”

Night Fang couldn't help but bow to his lady making her smile as he received a kiss on the cheek making him grin even wider.

“I aim to please, so Twilight, Sunset tells me you are getting a fair amount of Prom Queen votes”

At this Twilight nodded.

"Gaining votes for Prom Queen is easier than I thought, I think only me and Sunset have enough to decide it between us."

Twilight began saying but only received a saddened look from Adagio who made Twilight laugh nervously before Adagio spoke.

"I tried to earn their votes but I doubt 18 votes is enough compared to Sunset's 20 and Twilight's 25"

With the dejected look from Adagio hanging over the table, Loki placed his knife and fork down before excusing himself with his reason of "I've lost my appetite" which shocked Sunset, Twilight and Night Fang as Loki stormed off causing Adagio to get out of her seat before Night Fang stopped her with a reassuring smile before saying.

"I'll handle Loki, you just stay and eat"

Adagio nodded with a saddened sigh as Night Fang left the room leaving 4 very confused girls and 1 very upset girl as he exited the room.

*Outside*

Night Fang noticed his brother stood outside the door gazing at the night sky, deep in thought about current events until he decided to make himself known to his brother.

"Still upset about what happened with Adagio bud?"

Loki sighed as he looked at his brother who had just joined him at the front doorway as Loki spoke again.

"She's done some terrible things Night Fang but she didn't deserve those jeers today, it took her 8 months to redeem herself and still they treat her like garbage."

Night Fang nodded but smiled when he saw his brother's look of determination return as Loki turned to face Night Fang with a look of a genius or in Night's case, he saw a mad scientist whenever Loki had his determined face on.

"I have an idea that might get Adagio more votes."

After saying that, Loki sprinted past his brother and headed upstairs with a new found determination leaving Night Fang with a happy smirk on his face at how fast Loki had thought up his plan.

Upstairs

As Loki opened up the door to his and Adagio's bedroom, he began rummaging around his junk pile and then proceeding to look through all the valuables he had from when he and Night Fang were homeless, he eventually found what he was looking for and produced three of the objects from the pile.

"Perfect"

Loki smiled evilly at his plan, and it was a good one, give the sirens their singing voices back and win prom king from Blackheart by using the very magic that the sirens used, for himself, before he could put the pendant on however...

knock, knock, knock

"Babe?"

As soon as he heard his girlfriend's voice, Loki fumbled with the pendant in his hand before deciding to stuff it in his back pocket and out of sight as Adagio opened the door to a flustered Loki who squeed at her making Adagio giggle at her boyfriends antics.

"What are you doing up here Loki?"

Loki smiled innocently until Adagio noticed a strap to a pendant in his back pocket so while Loki was turned away ready to go to his own room, much to his chagrin, Adagio grabbed the pendant out of Loki's pocket much to his protests, when she realised what she held in her hand, she gasped in horror at the teen in front of her.

"LOKI MOONSTONE HOW DID YOU GET THIS"

Adagio began shouting in anger but remembered who she was shouting at so she softened slightly so the teen could explain his actions.

"I'm sick of you being treated like dirt Adagio, so I thought if I could use Siren magic, they'd turn on Blackheart and adore me as a king."

Adagio couldn't believe what she was hearing from her boyfriend before she slowly pulled Loki in for a kiss, they lingered slightly before Adagio spoke again to the smitten teen.

"People already adore you Loki, you've got a siren as your girlfriend and you've got a brother and friends who would fight for you every step of the way, don't make my mistake babe, don't fall to darkness like me and my sisters had."

Loki looked at Adagio with pleading eyes, almost in begging to let him use the pendants, but it was true, Adagio had him on this one, but his resolution would come true, in time.

"Now, I have a date tonight with a very important man in my life, but he doesn't seem to realise his girl needs to get ready otherwise we'll never get to the theater on time, so, go on, off with you"

Loki smiled goofily as he and Adagio kissed again before he left the room with a little jig in his step which didn't go unnoticed by Aria who rolled her eyes at his antics as she walked towards her older sisters room. The same however couldn't be said for Adagio, As she looked at herself in the mirror with the pendant [laced against as she felt her feelings conflict.

Let him, he can harness our power and set us free

Loki

"No, he means the world to me and he will not fall as I have before."

With one final glance towards her past in her hands, Adagio threw the pendants in the trash, never to be touched again as she undressed ready to get in the shower for tonight was her night and nothing would ruin it for her.
