Canterlot National Park; Ceremonial Rotunda

Today was the big day, off in another room getting pretty and prepped was her wife to be and hopefully soon to be mother/father to her children. She was still quite puzzled on how all of that would work however Sci-Twi and Princess Twilight seemed quite confident that they'd found a way for the newlyweds to make love and create a baby thanks to magic and science and so she chose not to question it and went with the flow as she always had. She still couldn't believe it, even all these months later after so much planning and organizing that she was getting married to her college sweetheart, band-mate, best friend and former rival; Sunset Shimmer.

She couldn't have been happier but even as she sat in her grand dressing room at the ceremony hall and looked upon herself in the mirror in the fittingly 'dazzling' wedding dress Rarity had created for her which was a lovely violet purple since that was one of Sunset's favorite colors and it had the designs of scales as to resemble her siren form in some fashion; she had thought to herself still even after all this time.

'Do I deserve to marry her?'

She had asked herself that question many times in a matter of seconds when Sunset had proposed to her six months ago on the anniversary of them getting together in college and having been together for four whole years having gotten together as freshmen. The entire gesture was one that warmed Adagio's heart and made her smile every single time the thought crossed her mind.

'She's such a clever and creative little pony' Adagio thought as she remembered back to when Sunset proposed as she looked upon the dazzling diamond ring on her finger that Sunset had gone all the way to Equestria to obtain...even battled a dragon for it!

Okie Dokie's Karaoke 6 Months Ago

'The quickest way to ones heart is to bond to their soul, music is thread that binds our hearts, minds, body and soul...Isn't that right Sunny?' Adagio thought fondly as she remembered the night of her now fiance's proposal.

It was their traditional karaoke night at Okie Dokie's where their friends Vinyl Scratch and Lemon Zest both worked part-time. Ever since the dazzlings had become official members of the group and integrated their singing group into the rainbooms band? The girls had made it a little 'friendship tradition' to go out singing each weekend with the three sirens for a few reasons. One because as sirens the three of them LOVED to sing and since being reformed they'd found great joy in singing to make people happy instead of making them fight and two being that they still needed to absorb energy but now it was from the other end of the emotional spectrum and they took in positive feelings and energy that were extracted whenever they sang.

Naturally new gems were needed for this process to work and Sunset Shimmer had lead a venture into Equestria's ancient destroyed undersea kingdom in which the Dazzlings hailed from called Aquaria. The other rainbooms didn't go with her on this one because she didn't want to risk any possible 'cosmic imbalance' with different versions of the elements of harmony being on the same side of the mirror at the same time and so in their stead the Crystal prep Shadowbolts went with Sunset and that group was then accompanied by the elements of harmony of that world. The entire adventure according to Sunset was 'pulse pounding' and reminded her why she loved magic so much as a pony and why she loved solving magic problems back home which gave the little pony incentive to come back home and not stay in Equestria much to Adagio's secret pleasure at the time since she was still kind of rivals with Sunset even though they were roommates.

When they had all returned with new magical powers and the sirens brand new gems in hand? Needless to say the three sirens were eternally grateful and as per their deal would work hard to redeem themselves and use positive energy to benefit the world since they had caused so much strife secretly among the human race throughout history. After each siren had taken time to rekindle their voice and bond more with the rainbooms and even the shadowbolts they'd started to use their talents for the benefit of others and also to make themselves happy as secretly they'd been very miserable for a long time but while they did have each other? They each in their own ways felt alone because they all strived for adoration in all the wrong ways but now? They had more than at least a bakers dozen of friends and couldn't be happier.

Everyone sat in attendance tonight as it was after their college graduation! They'd redeemed and reformed the dazzlings back in High School during their senior year and it had culminated in Sunset and Adagio dating after having been roommates for a year while the other two sirens bunked with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie respectively. The two had bonded greatly through Adagio bunking with Sunset during that year as she was attempting to redeem her; it was so strange thinking of how she was back then. She was so prideful, such a brat but above all? She was hurt. Back then she had affirmed to herself that Sunset Shimmer found the three of them rotting away near death all because she'd stepped up to help stop them during the battle of the bands.

'We fought a battle we should have known we would lose and suffered the backlash and never once did you gloat or sneer at me and my sisters when you found us...No. You looked upon us with those beautiful teal eyes full of compassion and offered a hand to help us. Oh sure I slapped it away...but Sonata knew better' Adagio thought as she remembered to when she and her sisters were barely clinging to life.

She remembered how starved and weak she and her sisters were and while she didn't want to admit it back then? She was grateful to Sunset Shimmer in that moment in time because had it not been for her? She and her sisters would have died because they could do nothing to help themselves not just because they lacked the energy to do so but because they were too angry with the world and what they felt it had done to them to make the effort...well Aria and Adagio were; Sonata? Bless her sweet little heart, tried her best but the poor girl always fell short and into depression. Sunset had said back then she felt horrible that she took away a part of what made them who they were and made them a deal; if they promised to reform then she would work to her dying breathe to get them their singing voices back and get them the adoration they craved so much.

'And you made very good on your end of the deal little pony, I'll admit you took a gamble trusting us like you did but that's just the type of pony you've ALWAYS been; a rambunctious little risk taker.'Adagio giggled to herself remembering how enthusiastic Sunset was about helping Adagio better herself; the little pony always gave her 100% at everything and when 100% wasn't enough? She'd go beyond that and surprise Adagio every single time.

Truly at the end of the day that's all the sirens wanted; to be adored and to be loved. It was just back then they felt they had to take love and adoration by force and use cunning and cruel tricks to get what they desired and sadly they were very wrong and it was that which probably hurt Adagio the most almost as much as the feeling of having failed; bested by a little pony. Speaking of a little pony? That's what brought her and the other girls here tonight, Sunset Shimmer said she had a special announcement and knowing her bad ass girlfriend? She was going to make a show of it if she decided to hold the meeting here.

Around her sat her sisters Aria and Sonata as well as the other Rainbooms as Sunset took the stage with microphone in hand. She was dressed in the outfit she'd originally worn to this location the night they'd gotten together, black jeans with flame decal, cute red open toe party heels, a belt with her cutie mark on the center, frilled shirt with colors that matched her name being red yellow and orange in different sections, her magic geode around her neck and her jacket was off sitting on a stool.

"Aaaand next up we have a regular songbird! Please welcome up Ms.Sunset Shimmer!!" Vinyl Scratch said as Sunset came up on stage and signaled Vinyl to put on the instrumental for the song she wished to sing to Adagio but not before speaking to Adagio and the crowd.

"Thanks Vinyl. Here's a little song that says how I feel about someone in my life; because no matter what I know one thing and its that her love will always make me wanna sing." Smiling a smile somewhere between lustful and playful at Adagio.

As she spoke the song began to play and the began with a piano and then a steady beat of drums and everyone in the crowd began to clap in tune with her as she began to sway and dance in place on stage as she began to sing. Adagio blushed and felt her heart skip a beat as she ADORED gestures like this! Oh how she loved a good serenading! Hearing the beat and tempo, the beginning words!?

'Oh sweet sea-foam I love this song!!!' Adagio thought as she blushed heavily and felt her heart begin to speed up in pace and tempo as her siren urge to burst out into song was itching and she was never good at resisting it! She loved hearing Sunset sing, she remembered the first time she ever heard the girls singing voice it was during the moment of her second greatest defeat and for the longest time she was jealous and envious of Sunset's singing talent as it seemed to have come so naturally to her and really she was still just bitter she couldn't sing at the time but now?! She could and often did sing with the best of them and Sunset was practically begging her to stand up and join her and oh how Adagio liked to see her little pony beg.

Sunset's voice rang out across the room to everyone's ears amplified by the microphone in her hand but the entire time she moved across the small stage or moved her mouth, her eyes which were the gateways to her heart and soul? Remained purely focused on Adagio. Adagio had told her time and time again that she adored her singing voice and loved it whenever she would break out into random song whenever she was happy or just in the mood to sing often teasing that she may be half siren. With her trademark charming friendship is magic smile she kept passionate eyes on Adagio as she sung one of her personal favorites.

As she got to this part of the song time seemed to have slowed for the two of them as she looked at Adagio in a way where she communicated with her without speaking and her body language would speak for her and it was but the subtle but salacious curl of her amber colored index finger and nudge of her head and chin for Adagio to come up on stage that told Adagio all she needed to know. Smiling her own trademark seductive, devious and haughty smile she stood from her chair near where her sisters sat and gave her bangs a push out of the way of her face and her large lions mane of hair hung at her back.

'Time to show out' Adagio thought with her haughty sexy grin.

She was wearing a brand new outfit that Rarity had made for her as a gift, it was the first of many clothes to be sold in her brand new shop that was to be opening in Canterlot City Mall by next year; it consisted of a white and purple color scheme with the pants, jacket being white and on the sleeves and cuffs of the jacket and pants was purple faux fur. She even had a sick designer belt with her cutie mark on it and around her neck was her new pendant which was an orange stone carved in the shape of her cutie mark and underneath the jacket she wore a black crop-top that read the words "Dazzle Me" on it and upon her feet were a pair of cute purple open toe heels with gold spikes on the heels. As she began to walk her hips swayed in instinct and while most everyone had their eyes glued to her AMAZING ass? Her eyes locked forward on her lover her beckoned her siren to come serenade the crowd.

'And who am I to deny the call of my princess?' Adagio thought as a small blush crept across her cheeks at the thought of Sunset's 'mistress' name when they were intimate and that little curl of her finger was a gesture often used in the bedroom when Adagio was being the submissive one and vise versa.

Walking up to the stage she would join in the chorus of the song with Sunset having listened to it many times and having know the entire thing by heart using her natural siren talent. What also happened when Adagio began singing is that her magic would begin to take hold and as everyone listened to her sing the words they were marked by her magic and their positive emotions would create a sparkling orange miasma of mist that would soak into her pendant as she got closer to the sang and Sunset who was also affected by her magic and absorbing magic from her was always a rush! As she got closer to Sunset on stage their voices synchronized in perfect harmony as everyone clapped along to help the tempo.

They came close together and shared a quick peck on the lips and everyone cheered and gave an encouraging 'Ooooooo' to the two females as they sung together. Adagio then began to take point of the next part of the song, as the emotional mist continued to circle around the room.

Adagio's voice was smooth as silk and dominant in its presence and volume but it didn't overpower Sunset's, they sang at the same level and in perfect harmony, something Adagio struggled to do with Aria and Sonata from time to time but with Sunset? Never a problem and she knew in her deepest of hearts that meant Sunset was meant to be hers. As she sang to her and soaked up the magical energy her body began to glow and her ruby red eyes flashed a light orange as she lovingly and tenderly took one of Sunset's hands in her own and then traced a loving finger across the girls cheek, moving some of her hair out of the way of her face so she could look into her beautiful eyes.

She loved Sunset Shimmer, she was the only person in the world who understood her the best, who had helped her when she was at her lowest, who gave her back the one thing she loved the most and made it better for her so she wouldn't be alone anymore and by the grace of whatever God existed in this world she would sing her love and praise to the heavens so the angels could weep knowing they could never have one as perfect as Sunset for themselves.

As Adagio reached this part of the song she had taken in more than enough magic to trigger her siren transformation. Her translucent wings appeared, her ears turned pony and her gem radiated with an abundance of energy as her voice began to echo out again. Sunset herself had also triggered her pony transformation gaining her ears and a longer ponytail as well as a small red gem that would appear on her forehead to symbolize she was a unicorn, a brand new trait to their magic powers that had come up in their senior high school year. Sunset and Adagio then began to take their turns singing again.

As the song reached its end and the orange mist soaked entirely into Adagio's necklace she inhaled and exhaled in delight having taken in so much she closed her eyes for a moment and had forgotten the enivorment around her for a few precious moments. She was confused when she had opened her eyes after hearing a round of gasps from the crowd and didn't see Sunset standing in front of her. No; she was kneeling bent on one knee with that charming friendship is magic smile tugged at her lips that Adagio loved. Seeing that Adagio had finally taken notice Sunset spoke.

"Adagio Dazzle, its been now four years since you and I got together right here on this stage and sang together; just like this when you'd gained the courage through me to sing in front of everyone again even though you were scared. Ever since then you've been my friend, my partner, my band-mate and so much more...But well...Now that one chapter in our lives has closed? I think its about time to start another one...and so-" Sunset said as she took something from her pocket, a black case that had golden trim along the sides.

Popping it open it revealed a dazzlingly beautiful diamond ring, one custom made and very obviously not of this realm. It was an Equestrian gem and quite the rare one at that, it was a fiery orange and red jewel placed on top of a pure gold band that read 'Dazzling love' in cursive carved into it. Adagio gasped suddenly losing her voice and then Sunset spoke again.

"I went to Equestria to get this; long story short? While most dragons are friendly with ponies now? The bigger older ones still don't know the concept of sharing but I had to get you the perfect ring so I could ask you a wee little question Dagi..." Sunset said using her favorite nickname for the siren to calm her nerves and she took a deep breath. "Adagio Dazzle...Will you marry me?" Her voice shook if only a little as all her emotions had come crashing down at once as she waited with baited breathe for Adagio's answer to the greatest question she'd ever asked since 'Will you be my friend?'

Many thoughts and emotion swirled inside Adagio in a matter of seconds but over and over again the same question that came up was. 'Do I deserve this?' She continued to wonder and each and every single time she wanted to tell herself no; she didn't. Not after all the lives she ruined either out of spite, boredom or need to meet an end goal...sometimes all three. She had stomped out peoples hopes of love by turning them against one another, broken up families with just a few simple words and a sway of her hips, even made husbands and wives kill each other after long arguments just to get a fix on her negative energy.

She'd raised so much Hell; how come she was getting asked to be married to an angel such as Sunset? Why not Twilight Sparkle or perhaps even Flash Sentry? They seemed like much better picks for Sunset than Adagio. But the more she thought about it and looked at that ring and the hopeful look on Sunset's face? She remembered all the good times they'd had together, all the smiles she had helped create over the past four years, all the charity she had done, all of it. Sure it was MINOR in comparison to having done hundreds of thousands of years worth's of damage to others but it was a start and maybe she never would truly gain full redemption, but as a wise woman once said

'You'll never know whether you'll win or lose unless you try'

Tears began to freely flow down Adagio's face as she struggled to speak, she felt horse like back at the battle of the bands when her powers and singing voice were taken away from her only now she felt an overwhelming sense of joy and anxiety. Chuckling a little she sniffled and looked down at Sunset and the ring one more time, smiling even though she was freely and fully crying in full view of everyone but she had not a single fuck to give now. Maybe she didn't deserve this but you know what? Sunset did and for Adagio? That's all that mattered to her.

"Yes; I will! You wonderful little pony; mmmmph!" Adagio said with her voice cracking and then Sunset silenced any possible crying by shooting up and pulling Adagio into possibly the most passionate kiss they'd shared to date and it would only be topped by the kiss they'd share on their wedding day as they stood at the alter together. Her heart hammered and beat in her chest as she kissed her now fiance and soon to be wife, the pounding of her heart was so loud it almost sounded like knocking.

*knock knock knock knock knock*

'Daaaaaagi! It's time!!! C'mon so you can be Mrs.Dagi Shimmer!! I wanna see Aria cry her face off like she always does at weddings!' Sonata said cutting into Adagio's memory.

As she ceased looking at her ring she noticed the time and smiled. The ceremony was to begin at 4 which was around the time the sun would be setting just in the perfect way as they said their vows. With a deep breath Adagio stood up and straightened out her dress and looked upon herself in the mirror one more time and smiled with all her confidence.

"She deserves the best for all she's done; so be the best you can and everything will be alright." Adagio said to herself in order to give herself reassurance that this was all going to be good. Today finally she would be the first siren of her group to have found and locked down true love.

This made Adagio giggle and smirk in triumph because she was also the first out of their ENTIRE group of friends to get married and she'd snagged the girl many of them actually had eyes on but didn't know how to approach partly because she was Equestrian which was something she and Adagio had in common so all the more win for her. With a small sigh she turned to head out of the door where Sonata was waiting for her, grabbing the flower arrangement she was given by Fluttershy which matched Sunset's hair in color scheme. Opening the door she was greeted by her little sister Sonata who as usual was smiling her bubbly ditzy smile and dressed in a stunning aquamarine color dress that also looked like those of her siren scales.

"Ready to go get your happily ever after Dagi?" Sonata asked with a smile.

With a smile she looked upon her wedding ring again and then touched a finger to her gem around her neck and nodded to her sister with determined confidence in her eyes, the kind that said 'I'm ready to do this and I'll give it my all for the one I love'. The two sisters would walk out of the grand hall dressing room and out into the main park area and straight ahead was the alter and so far everyone had taken their seats with a few stragglers here and there due to a few late comers.

She giggled charmingly when she saw the two principal sisters arguing over who was supposed to bring their wedding gifts, years ago that little spat between sisters would have been a nice little afternoon snack but she was far beyond that now. All of their friends and whatever 'family' Sunset had were in attendance and the only one to truly wait on now was the other bride. They at first didn't know who was going to walk down the aisle first and second but after much debating they'd settled on Sunset being walked down the aisle by her worlds version of Celestia with Princess Twilight Sparkle as her best maid because Adagio wanted Sunset to feel like a princess on this day and wouldn't have any if and's or but's about it.

As she came to the alter the officiator of their vows; Princess Cadence of Equestria smiled at her.

"You look beautiful dear." Cadence said kindly.

"Honey I am DAZZLING" Adagio said with a haughty smile chuckle and flip of her hair.

"Hehehe oh that indeed you are! Sunset really has caught herself quite the catch hasn't she?" Cadence said with a catlike grin to the siren.

"Oh ha,ha very funny little ms. lovey dovey. Hows the hubby and foal?" Adagio asked

"Oh they are doing wonderful, Shining is over there crying her face off with the other world version of himself and your sister...wedding hasn't even actually started yet" Cadence chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Heheh yeah Aria acts like a big tough Ursa but she's just a cuddly little teddy on the inside once you get to know her; oh she is just so adorably tsundre; I keep telling her to use that to try and get a special someone of her own because goodness it's just sad seeing the poor dear with no lover." Adagio with a small sigh feeling bad for her sister even though she knew her sister was nothing but happy for her right now as shown by her many tears she shed with Twilight Sparkle's brother's.

"Oh I am sure she will find someone; and who knows? Maybe that might be today, weddings have a way of bringing out the love in people; trust me." She grinned and pointed up to her crown which she was shamelessly wearing. "Princess of Looooove" She sang out cheerfully.

"Thank you so much for offering to unify us; this world is SO slow on its laws regarding equality! I know when we were in Equestria 1000 years ago? It was perfectly okay for mares to mate with other mares and marry, these damn humans only stopped flipping out over gay marriage like...three years ago now I believe...But I don't care; nothing was going to stop this." Adagio said rolling her eyes with a scoff as she watched everyone taking their seats and now every seat was full with all of its guests and the sun was already beginning to set on the horizon behind them blanketing the sky in a fiery red and yellow light.

"The love between the two of you is some of the strongest I've felt in awhile. You two are going to go far together; and how cute that you plan to ride off into the Sunset with her. You are quite the clever one Ms.Dazzle..." She then heard the choir begin to play the wedding march which signaled the arrival of Adagio's true love and right on cue as the Sun was setting. Cadence smiled at this and said.

"Well, well, well; speaking of the bride? Here she comes now~" Cadence said as she turned Adagio's attention forward so she could see her wife to be begin to walk down the path but then halfway through her walking the wedding march stopped and Rarity who was dressed in a purple and white dress she made took to the piano and Applejack who was dressed in a beautiful western style inspired dress along with her stetson on her head picked up her base. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy would also take up their instruments and help the melody along as their friend began to walk. It was then from across the way Sunset's voice began to call out singing and Adagio had recognized the beat and the words right away and so did Cadence.

"Ooooh you were right! She IS a clever little pony!" Cadence said with a smug smile seeing the lovestruck and happy look on Adagio's face.

"And she's all mine" Adagio said with a dreamy sigh and hearts in her eyes. Today was finally the day when she would marry Sunset Shimmer and begin her Happily Ever After.
