The sun rose into the sky, chasing away the darkness of the night. With the welcome embrace of the sun’s rays, Ponyville and the land surrounding it began to warm up. Fluttershy remained sleeping in her bed, tucked comfortably under her blanket. All of a sudden, she felt something jump on top of the bed and pull at the sheets. Opening her eyes, Fluttershy craned her head to the source of the disturbance that was undoubtedly Godzilla. The little reptile was tugging at her blanket, believing the cloth had been a chew toy. Godzilla pulled back on the blanket so hard, he slipped off the bed with the blanket still in his jaws.
“Oh, sweet Celestia!” Fluttershy exclaimed, quickly jumping off her bed and rushing to Godzilla. Godzilla just sat there with the blanket draped over his body. He righted himself up and ran out of the room issuing a series of confused garbles while he still had the blanket on top of his face.
“Hey! Come back here with my blanket!” Fluttershy said, a laugh escaping her mouth as she chased after Godzilla. She finally caught the rambunctious lizard, wrapping him up in a warm hug. Godzilla returned the loving gesture with a slobbery kiss to the cheek, causing Fluttershy to laugh even harder. She finally put Godzilla down, taking the blanket from his grasp and folding it. She trotted towards the kitchen with a smile on her face, grabbing a couple of buckets from a closet. She filled the first bucket with chicken feed and filled the second with several varieties of fruits and vegetables. Fluttershy walked outside to her backyard, placing one of the buckets on a wooden platform. She began to hand out the chicken feed to her chickens, humming a little tune. She heard the ear-splitting grate of a bucket getting dragged on the ground and turned around, watching Godzilla drag the second bucket by the handle. Fluttershy felt her heart melt at the reptile’s efforts to help her with chores.
“Aww, you want to help mommy? You’re so generous.” Fluttershy cooed. What would’ve taken all morning now only took no less than half an hour, thanks to Godzilla’s help (Well, Godzilla tried anyway. He spilled the chicken feed several times while trying to throw the bucket around and It took almost ten minutes for Fluttershy to teach him that the buckets were not toys). Later on, Fluttershy proceeded to clean the cottage. She grabbed a mop and filled another bucket with water, plunging the mop in the bucket to get it soaked. Fluttershy began sweeping the floor, watching streams of water escape the mop’s hairy tendrils and spread itself all over the floor. She stole a quick glance at Godzilla, smiling as she spotted him taking a nap on her sofa.
He’s definitely pooped out from the morning chores.
After she completed finishing the cleanup, Fluttershy carefully placed a blanket on Godzilla, kissing his forehead before sitting beside the sleeping infant and taking a book from a round table that stood next to the sofa.

Twilight was reading her encyclopedia, researching the Gojirasaur species. As she turned the pages, there was a certain article that piqued her interest.
“I never seen this article before....” Twilight said to herself. She began reading from the text.
“Thousands of years ago, during the ancient times of Equestria, the atmosphere was ten times more radioactive than the present day. During that time, several species of gigantic creatures roamed the lands and survived on this energy. The most prominent of these creatures being the Gojirasaurs. During those times, Gojirasaurs could only be described as unstoppable forces of nature. They didn’t have to worry about any threats, except one...” Twilight read. “The pony tribes living at the time described these parasitic beasts as giant multi-limbed monsters. These creatures purposely hunt down and kill Gojirasaurs and then lay multitudes of eggs inside their corpses. There are no official names for this creature, however, our scientists have dubbed the beasts ‘MUTO’, meaning ‘Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism’.”
Twilight sat back in her chair, trying to process what she just read. She remembered the corpses of the two adult Gojirasaurs she and Celestia stumbled upon in the Everfree forest.
So that’s what killed Godzilla’s parents.
“Spike!” Twilight hollered. Spike walked down the stairs, peeking his head from the corner of a wall.
“Yeah, Twi?”
“I need you to write a letter to Princess Celestia. This is extremely urgent.”
