Book 1: Foundation of Equestria
Saga 1, To be a Princess: Making Plans
Previous ChapterNext ChapterArmadura stepped into the hallway, yawning. She was tired, mostly because everyone was preparing for the Draconequus Princess to come to Shadowlogia. The castle was becoming a hotel for royals it seemed. Honestly, everything was going crazy. It was too early for her little Luna to be awake, she needed a lot of sleep. After teaching her the speech spell she’d been using it a lot, and it was tiring her out. poor thing. The mare walked to a window, her eyes glowing as she started to raise the sun. the original sun goddess had perished, making it the job of others to raise and lower it. something in the gardens caught her attention though. A white filly, a hippogriff and a Draconequus. The Draconequus had been gaining their attention, the royal family having a gut feeling he was going to play a part in the puzzle of history, not that they knew whether he’d be a framing piece or a main one.
Celestia’s magic was getting slightly stronger, she was holding the stick a lot better now, keeping a magical grip around the handle that’d been scratched so she could remember where to keep it. she swung to the left, then to the right, repeating the action. Each practice she was getting faster and adding more force behind each strike, at this rate she was going to be able to hold something heavier. Novo was holding her stick in his claws, doing the same as Celestia. The two had yet to figure out he was looking for them to work together, but they’d get it eventually, they were smart girls after all.
“Alright, switch time.” time for them to be on the defence. He hadn’t used his actual halberd on them yet, but he had a feeling it’d be used in the future. for now, he used a wooden stick the same size as theirs, a mere meter. Celestia and Novo held their sticks tight, getting read for the onslaught that was about to take place. He gripped his own, holding back as much as possible as to not break something. made it a little difficult to ‘fight’ them when your species had the potential to crush diamond. He’d never tried it, but some shmuck did a few eons ago “You two ready?”
“We’ll always be ready!” Celestia said proudly, her confidence growing, thankfully not out of control this time. He really needed to nip her attitude in the bud before she became arrogant. As the saying goes. Arrogance killed the Amphithere. He knew a lot of those. His personal favourite was Revenge killed the Revenant, Curiosity killed the Cat and Deception killed the Dragon. He swung it downwards, the young filly pulling her stick above her to block it. good, normally he ended up getting her head. he then went for her left, Novo blocking the attack. She wasn’t as strong as Celestia thanks to not using magic, but she wasn’t too bad. At this rate he could try and get the filly to raise the sun. it was still a long shot, but they needed to try something. hell, if his plan worked he might get another raise!
Armadura wasn’t aware that the two were getting lessons, but she was pleased. Novo would be stuck here until Fayard could get past the storm, and Celestia desperately needed a friend with a life span rivalling hers. She liked the ponies, but they just didn’t live very long. she couldn’t form connections. She took in a deep breath, the morning always tasting sweeter than the minty night. She headed towards the dinning room, a smile on her muzzle. Those two girls weren’t half bad? perhaps one day they could be great warriors. Her husband wanted Celestia and Luna to grow up like princess’ which was sweet, but she honestly didn’t see why? The girls weren’t actual royalty, even though they were demi gods.
“Catrina!” the Abyssitire frowned as she heard that annoying dog face yell her name. she begrudgingly looked over to the Ahuizotl who wanted to be called Ahuizotl for some reason “Catrina, I’m bored. can we kill some people now? I mean, seriously, we’ve barely killed anyone!” the master hadn’t told them to kill anyone yet, so they wouldn’t. but Ahuizotl had a deep blood lust, he enjoyed watching people suffer, he got off on it apparently “Come on already! I want blood, I want gore, I want those red tags to mean something!”
“Enough,” Catrine hissed, her ears back “We have yet to be told what to do. When the master tells us to do something, we do something. if he doesn’t, we don’t.” Ahuizotl scowled at her, then he looked up at the sky, his eyes moving as if he was reading “what the hell are you doing now?”
“we’ve had one sex scene, might as well not have the tag there.”
she couldn’t fathom whatever he was saying. He was insane, but she didn’t think he was that insane! Then he wanted something called suicide/self-harm tag to be there in place of it, then rambled about it being too red. She shook her head, starting to grow a migraine by how insane he was “Shut up!” Catrina and Ahuizotl were moments from attacking each other. They worked together rather well when on missions, but when they had nothing to do, they couldn’t stand one another. They wanted to kill one another, and badly. The only thing holding them back was a song…
There stood Corrupting Melody, playing his demonic flute, piccolo, whatever. He was a hobgoblin. He looked like the aftermath of an orgy between an ape, demon, bat and diamond dog. He wasn’t very tall, just about the height of a pony. he was mostly covered in fur, but the parts that were barren of such was his face, stomach, palms, feet and his tail that had white spikes on the end. his fur was golden, it covered his legs, his torso, arms, neck and around his face, especially fluffy on his cheeks. His hair was platinum blond which was slicked backwards, and his long ears were the same colour, the right ear with a missing piece cut from it along with a golden ring under it. he had bandages wrapped around his shins and wrists, more of a fashion thing than any injury. Corrupting Melody wore ripped shorts in muddy brown with a dark brown belt around his waist that had golden studs and a golden buckle. Corrupting Melody also wore a hood that was made from a cloak, it wrapped around his neck and flowing behind him, a couple holes at the end, he also had holes in it for his ears. Corrupting Melody’s eye colour was a bright gold, the sclera a darker grey than his skin and had slit black pupils, and he had bushy blond eyebrows. Peeking from under his top lips with small black fangs that made him both cute and disturbing.
“Don’t fight my dear friends, it’s not worth it.” Corrupting Melody’s flute was dark black, made from demon bone with golden studs around the end of it. it looked very normal, only it could manipulate those who heard its evil. You could tell who was under its spell when your sclera because black with dark trails leaving the corners of your eyes. He could make you do anything, and what’s worse is that it worked on the dead. It worked on all except the master “The master has a little job for us, one you might not like, but one that is needed… we’re going to impregnate a mare.”
“Dibs!”
“Not you, you long headed fool,” Corrupting Melody rolled his eyes at the other males now growing grin. He needed to kill something, which he’d be happy to help “We need a Draconequus to do it. I’m fully aware that they lay eggs, but with Catrina’s potions, the mare’ll be able to do it. we need to create the bloodline that’ll create someone. I unfortunately do not know who it is, but the master says she is a large part of our plan.” He was disappointed he couldn’t fuck the pony, but it would be fun to get another to do it for him “They won’t remember it, so no questions will be asked. Just shove some stallion next to her and she’ll believe it’s him.”
“I see… we’re going to be making a new deck of cards to be used for the next round,” Catrina grinned, light glinting off her canines “Who am I to say otherwise?”
Noche was quiet, a little more than normal. He, his wife, his son and daughter in law were eating at the table, a juicy hydra being their breakfast. Sol was still in Abyssinia; his daughter had run off somewhere and his elder son was currently in their infirmary. It was stressful preparing for Shinshitsu, the Draconeqi here were pretty nervous about the idea, other than Fuwa, he’d given up being surprised at this point. It seemed out of all of them only he and Konran had actually met a female before, which would be funny to see. He wanted to see Kanashimi make a fool of himself around his princess. As he chewed the deceased animal, his ears pointed upwards as he caught part of a conversation he hadn’t been paying much attention too.
“-nd then told him that it wasn’t even green!” apparently it was the ending of a joke because Armadura was laughing, his wife not paying much attention and reading something. he chewed his hydra slow, enjoying the taste but finding a bitterness that he couldn’t ignore. The letter from Gekidō worried him. After the hell he’d been through the past five pony months, he couldn’t bear the thought of losing any of his cubs. It was painful just imagining what could happen to them, and Skia’s would be entirely their fault.
Noche got up and excused himself, leaving the three on their own. they weren’t surprised by this, and let him be on his own. the Mountain King walked towards his study, nodding to any guard he saw, including Roki funnily enough. He even looked out of the window, spotting the white filly that brought all of this upon them. her guard was teaching her to use a halberd, was he? well at least she was doing something other than whine. Noche De Neón finally arrived to his officer, spotting the dragon known as Torch just sending off a pile of letters that Noche had compiled for him to send away, and Starswirl was looking for some kind of book from his bookshelf.
“Hello?” the pony nearly jumped out of his skin, if the Mountain King was in better moods, he may have laughed at him. No, he was dead serious “Pony, remember that I wanted to leave to Drapan? Well, that’s back on. prepare scheduling, we leave by the month.” Starswirl nodded, not willing to upset the far older being “Good. and Torch, you’ve got more things to send off with what I’m planning.”
“Oh Goodie…”
