Chapters Can I interest you in some power?
For Good or Evil I Don't Care
“Can I interest you in some power?” I ask the pony that summoned me, of course it’s a stupid thing to ask as they wouldn’t have summoned me for anything else.
“I can give you the power to do what it is you want, weather good, evil, or nothing. That’s for you to decide. " I continue, it seems the poor creature before me doesn’t know what I am. Strange, but it give some credit to my question now.
“All I ask for is a soul, doesn’t have to be your soul though it’s easier when it is. After all the soul will be mine until your debt is paid” A quiet one, this one. The small creature doesn’t seem to know what to do.
Small, purple, scaley. Looks like a lizard, baby dragon? I’ve seen the Prince whenever he’s hatched from death enough times to recognize one but she usually has wings.
“T-twilight...” It... Rather he, speaks up. Strange would’ve pegged him for a she. No matter.
“Twilight? Is that your name or the name you wish to bring into servitude?” I ask, already getting the AI programs to start recording my contract.
I’m not really a demon, but I am older than most and watched my universe crumble. So if I’m anywhere else I’m a demon, that’s how it works right? That’s how it was explained to me at least.
“N-NO!” he screeches, damn he has a set of lungs. “N-no... I w-want to save her... Ne-ed to save h-her!” He stutters out. Poor kid, probably meant to summon a familiar or something.
“So you need power?” I say, rewording my contract to allow some loopholes for the poor kid. I’m not evil, I just need an army.
“Y-yes...” He replies, albeit weakly. Damn it, he’s really pulling at my heartstrings here.
“I can give you that power, but like I said I need something in return.” I say, bringing a piece of paper over to me using some magic. What? Can’t a guy have magic and tech? Get all the advantage you can so that YOU’RE the stronger than the strong, then the other way around I say. Anyways back to my current employer.
“You said you wanted a soul... Right?” He asks, he seems to be stealing himself for something, probably to offer himself as a sacrifice.
“Of course, I’m a mercenary, assassin, black operator, dream demon, deamon demon, familiar, and general badass anarchist. All but one of those requires some kind of return on my investment. In this case, I was summoned as a demon. Sadly not a dream one. So a soul is the best kind of currency in this case” I say, taking a false breath after my tirade. I needed to really expel all that for him, I could tell he didn’t know what I was.
“So in exchange for a soul... You’ll give me power?” He asks, he seems rather... Dimwitted... Or careful. I like him if he’s careful, makes a better vessel for my power.
“Hmmm, not necessarily. You could just hier me to save this “Twilight” of yours. Go on a rampage and save her like a damsel in distress. Or, I can bring you to the power to defeat this being yourself. I would assume being as this Twilight is captured.” I reply, already knowing how he’ll react and what I’ll need to do. He’s a good kid and I’d rather not see him corrupted by my power.
“Please... Just give me the power I need to get Twilight back!” He begs. Well he asked for it.
“Well then, sign here and here and then take this syringe and put a drop of blood here” I list off, rushing him through itso that he doesn’t read the fine print. “And done, I’ll keep this plane safe while you go get your power”
“W-wait what?!” He asks suddenly as I snap my fingers, he disappears in a flash of electricity and I’m allowed to spread my influence on his world. Hmmm, Yes I can keep this fight still for now. Though he’d best hurry, illusions don’t last all that long.
The bug queen has a bunch of ponies captured just outside the gates of the castle I was summoned in, the mountain side way above is cover in black spots that I can only assume are more of the bug ponies. Changelings, the elements of harmony, the Princesses. Been a while since I've been summoned to an equestria.
Chrysalis is frozen in a gloating stance, completely unaware that she lives in her own mind now. Hives are especially hard for me, but considering what is 'hard', it isn't too challenging to keep her down. The hive does most of the work once you get past its natural defence anyways.
I take out my viewing device to check on him, and a few others. “I said I’d bring him to his power, just never said I’d give it to him. This way he won’t need to call me again at least.” I look around again “God damn I did a good job on this one.”
I look back down, he's yelling. Probably something along the lines of betrayal- Oh he's crying now. That's depression right? Or acceptance... I don't remember how grieving works and I was never an expert at it. Hmm... There's the first danger now, but he's distracted, better bring in another disciple of mine to get him on his feet. I hope he's ready for what is in store for him now.
Through the viewing port lies the new world, filled with adventure and the promise of power.
Author's Note
Quick little thing written in about half an hour. It started as a collection of stories idea and turned into a "Let's send spike on an adventure" Story.
As with me and my other stories don't expect updates anytime soon. But do comment on where you want Spike to show up. And ratings are appreciated if you don't feel like commenting.

Deserts Yield the Greatest Warriors
Journal Entry- Day 3-7
So, to preface this I was asleep for three days after I landed in the desert, so I don't know what happened during those three days.
So when I woke up, I was confused, lost, and wondering why everypony was standing on two legs. And when I remembered what happened... was happening. I started crying again.
Twilight is gone, she has to be by now. That demon tricked me and now she's probably dead or being forced to love some changeling so they can eat it like she's some kind of farm.
When I woke up after I slept and regained my composure I found myself in a tent and I heard voices outside, one was gruff and demanding the other was... Kinda wimpy.
After a few minutes of them talking... Or yelling in the case of the gruff one, two ponies came in. At least what I think are ponies. They stand on two legs and wear clothing, but most of their features were still pony. They both wore some kind of uniform and strange armor.
After staring at ME for a few moments, the buffer.. I suppose, of the two spoke up.
"What were you doing in the wastes, kid. It's a kill zone out there for a reason." He asked, in a gruff voice.
"I-I don't know" Spike looks down cast, almost in tears again. "I was... looking for help from someth-pony and they snapped their fingers and I appeared here... He said he'd help me get my friends back but all he did was... was" Spike breaks down again, crying into his claws.
The two ponies in uniform shifted uncomfortably as a naked baby dragon cried into his hands. One them leaned over to their partner and whispered into his ear
"Well... I'm not sure what we can do to get you back, but I'm assuming you're a far way from home if She brought you in from the wastes, I swear that mare is as strange as they come. And I would've just left her to the wastes long ago if she didn't have the power we needed to win this war."
Spike sniffles and curls up, the weight of the situation finally dawning fully on him. Flashes and memories of his life with Twilight and her friends go through his mind at light speed, rushing through over 15 years of his life in a few minutes. His face and mind always putting them in a false light though as he assumes them all dead. As he goes through this the two stallions standing over him look at him sadly, not knowing the story behind the look, but knowing the look well.
A third soldier comes into the tent. Saluting, he speaks to the two stallions. "Super soldier Frozen Snow has been released from medical and is returning to the front lines SIR. She will arrive at 1400 on the 5th SIR." The soldier belts out, standing at attention once he has finished stating the news he sent to announce.
The two stallions nod at each other and turn back to Spike. "Good, when Frozen comes back we'll have her talk to you, I have a feeling she'll know more about your situation then we do."
They both salute Spike then all three soldiers walk out of the tent. Closing and zipping the flaps shut after they go.
With their departure I was left alone with my thoughts as well as my fears. I fell asleep after a little while seeing nothing else to do since I was left out here to die. I knew I couldn't trust that demon. Whatever, tomorrow this "Frozen Winter" is going to return, she's apparently the one who saved me from that monster I saw when I first got here.
The next few days went about the same, I would wake up, be visited by the two stallions, they'd talk to me, then they would leave for the rest of the day. It's been four days since I've been awake and nothing has changed.
I hope Frozen can help me get home... If there is a home to get back to.
*The rest of the page is stained with dried tears*
"Tsk, She's taking too long to train him." I look at my viewing device then out across Ponyville. I've moved all the changelings out and saved any ponies I could without disturbing their illusions. I got around 200 into ponyville before I had to release the illusions for their sakes. One cannot survive on illusionary bread alone.
I can see Shining armor's shield outside the window. An impressive amount of magic to be sure, but even with me providing him extra magic it still drains him. Thankfully having my abilities unlocked on this plane lets me set up a illusion, one that doesn't allow ponies and changelings to die of hunger.
I look back at the device and sigh "Maybe sending him to a desert wasn't the best idea for his first training. Whatever the case may be." I stare at his quivering form, hunched over the journal that was given to him. Looks like a drakonis journal. Perfect for him as he'll be gone for a long, long time.
I look back out over ponyville. Everypony seems... Listless, lost, unwilling to live. The sun hasn't moved past the horizon for days now, Canterlot has fallen. But as the moon blocks the sun during what is supposed to be night hours, it seems Luna escaped and is making sure the planet doesn't burn. Sadly, I can see the other side of the planet freezing, this invasion had unforeseen consequences Chrysalis. Be glad the planet hasn't burned due to your poor planning skills.
I finally looks back at the device. He's fallen asleep, Good. He'll need all the sleep he can get once Frozen gets there.

How I Like To Serve my Power
Author's Note
I needed to get up another 50 words but then the first chapter would feel bloated, so this first arc will be decided by me. Have fun in a deserty plane with a superpowered soldier
Also, have fun with a little teaser of something that might never come ^^;
How I Like To Serve my Power
I screamed at the sky and at the demon I summoned by accident, he just teleported me away to some Celestia forsaken desert and now Twilight is going to... Going to...
I fall down to the sand and soon start crying, mad at Him , mad at myself, mad at Chrysalis.
Suddenly, a giant... Thing attacks me, teeth of whirring metal and a jaw looking like it'll bite me in half, I scramble back, screaming my lungs out again as it slowly inches closer, like it's taunting me with it's very existence and the joke that harmony is playing on me.
I hear explosions in rapid succession and I duck as I see the monster slowly filled with holes, but it's still coming after me, the sharp blades cutting through the air as it rushes me, no longer seeing me as helpless pray but it's last meal before it dies.
I see a huge blade cut through it as it's 'blood' splashes over me and I'm filled with fear, what is it that killed the beast in front of me, was it friendly or was it just a bigger fish that will eat me instead.
I see the creature behind the metal beast and I feel my vision darken, how long had I been in the desert crying? I suddenly feel parched and sick...
I fall to the ground, and my vision fades as my savior or later predator stands over me. It's like a halfway mix between the demon and a pony.
That's all I see as the darkness finally comes over me.
