And in the next you're alone, abandoned, betrayed, and forgotten all for trying to do the right thing; all for trying to SAVE THEM FROM THEMSELVES. Funny isn't it’?
Twilight's mind repeated this over and over, as she thought about that past day. Her brother was to be married to her foalsitter of all ponies, and yet Cadence acted nothing like her usual self. She was cruel, impatience, and rude. And when Twilight tried to save her brother from marrying the false Cadence. All it took some was crocodile tears from the imposter and Twilight lost it all. Her friends left her to comfort the fake. Her own brother kicked her out of the wedding and ruined her ties to her family. But the worst was her mentor left her there. Abandoning her to mourn. And yet she was right, she saved the day and what did she get? A fake apology and a second wedding she had to organize even before she had a moment to recover. And know she lays in her old room mourning the loss she felt.
“Applejack you are the element of honesty. You have always seen through the lies. Yet you fell for the imposter’s lie. Rainbow you're meant to be loyal. Yet you left me alone,betrayed. Rarity you would give a random pony a free dress even if it cost you a thousand bits. Yet you couldn't even give me a second of your time and hear me out, where was your generosity. Pinkie you pride yourself on giving smiles. Yet you took my laughter away. And Fluttershy… Fluttershy you are supposed to be kindness. Yet you were the cruelest of them all. ‘sniff’ I.. I thought we were special someponies.” Twilight said overlooking the city from the tower balcony of her room.
“Shining you were my B.B.B.F.F. you wanted to protect me from everything especially after Magic Kindergarten. Even when you scared away my first date attempt, though after seeing how Blueblood turned out no regrets there, and I had pranked your date with Cadence you still were there for me. But know you've left me. No you have not left me you turned on me. When you turned on me so did mom and dad they never showed up to help me. No they went to you. You had all the support I lacked and needed. And Spike you’ve been a son to me I hatched your egg, I fed you gem dust infused milk bottles, I taught you how to read and write. I was your mother and yet even you left me to my misery” Twilight said walking close to the railing
“Celestia… Celestia your words hurt the most. You where more than a mentor, you were a mother to me. Twilight Velvet and I were never close i was too difficult for her to raise me while helping my brother and her writing. HaHa I was a bipolar genius bookworm with too much magic and social anxiety. And yet you never cared about all that Celestia to you I was your faithful student, the little filly that idolized you, the...the filly that saw you as her mother. But it doesn't matter know does it. Nothing does any more.” Twilight whispers as she steps up to the railing.” Or at least I never did” she says as she jump over the rail.
` ‘So time really does slow down when you're nearing death… well I guess this is it. Goodbye Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow sorry I couldn’t be a better friend maybe then you would have all stayed with me. Goodbye Nightlight and Velvet at least know you won’t be stuck with a burden like me. Goodbye Shining I guess I could never be you little sister forever huh for this is my end. Goodbye Candace sorry I won’t be there for your foal but want kind of aunt would I be I’m nothing but a waste.Goodbye Fluttershy sorry I was a failure of a marefreind no wonder you abandoned me i’m not worthy of love like yours.Goodbye Spike I wish I was a better mother to you but i failed even there.
Goodbye Cel-no Goodbye mother I’m sorry I was a worthless daughter at least know no one will have to support a worthless pony like me.

Meanwhile Celestia is busy talking to the other elements,Shining and Cadence
“So how was the real wedding.” Celestia ask the newly weds.
“Wonderful auntie. Not as good as I wanted thanks to Chrysalis. Still I would never have had this wedding for Twilight.we really owe a lot to her”. Cadence replied
“we really owe a lot to my student. In all my years as a princess I have never meet a pony as intelligent as her even StarSwirl pales in comparison to her.” Celestia said.
”That's nothing Twilight refuses to let her friends down and let them get hurt like when I was trying to handle the harvest all by my lonesome” Applejack said back.
”Yeah she’s powerful as well she took down a Ursa minor unlike that braggart Trixie” Rainbow dash added.
“Agreed she’s helped me many time with my work even though she would gain nothing from it she’s so generous” Rarity said thinking back.
“Yeah even when we complete jerks during Discord’s freedom she was still trying to help us even after i flew off she was more loyal than I was. I would say she’s almost if not more so awesomer than me.
”Rainbow dash said as prideful as ever. “She’s help so much before i could barely handle all the parties I had planned. A few were close to happening all at once. While more parties are the best, birthdays are a personal party and private they should never overlap outside siblings.” Pinkie says strangely calmly. “Am I the only one feeling something off.” Pinkie whispers to herself.
“Twilight been helping me out with the animals she has been so kind...and we have been together for a few months…” Fluttershy whispers
“wait what your dating Twi..”
Shining Armor says when Celestia interrupts him “something's off.”
“What do you mean Princess Celestia” Shining asks.
“Follow me” Celestia says as she runs to the Element Vault “the feeling it's coming from the Elements” Celestia say opening the vault.
“Holy, oh my, what in tarnation. By my name” Celestia and the elements say in surprise “what's happening to the Element of Magic”
The Element of Magic is shaking when suddenly a loud crack is heard. The gem in its center the magenta Tourmaline gem starts cracking and just as the gem is about to shatter it blackens turning into a pure black onyx. Soon after a strange light ignites. As soon as the light starts moving the sapphires darken turning into a deep haunting dark blue. Finally the gold pales passing from silver to a bone pale platinum. The element of magic no longer radiates warmth or kindness. Now all they can feel is cold and despair emanating from it. A deep biting cold and heartbreaking despair. “The Element its changed I've never seen this before not any change this complete. What could have caused this.”
Suddenly a guard bursts in” Princess i have dire news.”
“What is it guard” Celestia asks.
“Twilight Sparkle is dead. She...she jumped off from her balcony. Twilight Sparkle the element of magic has committed suicide.”

The Next Day
The day after a wedding is meant to be a joyful occasion. Especially after a Royal wedding everypony is still feeling the buzz from the party they get to see the happy couple on their first day married. A few drunks sometimes the groom as well if it was a party heavy wedding. But not this time not after this royal wedding. The mood around Canterlot was morbid and depressed. For the Day before Twilight Sparkle the Element of Magic, student of Princess Celestia and the sister to the groom fell to her death and now the citizens are preparing for a speech.
“We are gathered here today to discuss the death of Twilight sparkle.” The speech giver said
“What's there to discuss we all saw her fall!” the crowd shouted back.
“Yes but not how recent evidence points to the changelings. The evidence shows a changeling infiltrator had snuck up behind Twilight. Striking her from behind stunning her long enough for the infiltrator to push her off the balcony to her death. The suspected reason is revenge for the wedding. Twilight was the key reason behind the changelings being defeated both by noticing the Queen and freeing Cadance. We are currently Investigating how a changeling broke in either it escaped the shield or snuck back soon after. A funeral will be held soon for Twilight Sparkle near the Graveyard of Honor and a statue in a Garden of Heros.” The speech giver said before stepping off.
“I can’t believe those bugs came back, yeah and killed a pony and Twilight at that, shame for her family tho the bride and groom have to be devastated, her family what about the elements or the princess.” the crowd says as they walk off
“Sister why did you lie about Twilight's death? She was not murdered by a changeling if any thing we murdered her.” Luna said ears downward she did not take the news of Twilight's death well.
“Because Luna if the fact Twilight commited suicide there would be investigations on why. The investigations would reveal what happen at the wedding how the elements and I failed her. If that happened many things would happen. Not only would my and likely your rule be questioned. already some question it with my defeat at the Queen even though it was because i had to hold back with so many otherponies their. Not only that the idea and truth that i was too short sided to see the pain my student was going through and did not even think about what she was feeling would likely ruin any form of diplomacy with the other nations since they would not want anything to do with me.” Celestia said looking out the window before levitating a cup of tea
“Is that all you can think of sister yourself? Not about the other element bearers or your own student!” Luna shouted stomping her hooves on the floor flaring her wings. Celestia grip tightened on the cup shattering it. A noticeable heat started emitting from her.
“Don’t you dare accuse me of that sister you have no right. Did I abandon you when you fell to the nightmare? No I spent 1,000 years trying to find a way to save you. If the truth behind Twilight's death came out the lives of the other Bearers would be ruined they would be hounded for it if not shunned forever. Now leave me sister i am done talking about this". Celestia said through gritted teeth trying to keep the bite from her voice as the tea from the shattered cup evaporated. Luna stumbled back eyes wide ears down in fear before quickly leaving the room. Celestia sighed, the aura calming. "I am sorry Sister but now i just want to be alone with the memories of my daughter." She said turning away from the door and starting to pick up the broken pieces of the tea cup one by one with her magic. "The daughter who I failed.....just.....let me mourn Twilight Sparkle.....

The Day after the Announcement.
Two days after Twilight’s death
“We are gathered here today the honor the lost of a student,friend,mother,hero,sister, and d-daughter . We are here to mourn Twilight Sparkle.” Celestia said to crowd tearing up a little.. To the friends and family of Twilight Sparkle who made up this crowd Celestia’s struggle to control herself was lost with their own tears. Everypony had dressed up for the funeral. Applejack was wearing a black suit though she still wore her father’s hat on her head but with a black band around the top, Rainbow wore a short black gown with her mane and tail brushed and smoothed with a black ribbon. Rarity dressed in a long black dress with a black veil (think of the iconic dress for a funeral) her mascara was running but she didn’t care. Fluttershy wore a heavier black dress then Rarity with a thicker veil trying to hide her tears, its not working. Pinkie was nowhere to be seen, no one can enter her room all they can hear is a low sobbing and voices. Spike wore a small suit it was the only thing they had that could fit him
Night light and Twilight velvet were wearing standard black funeral wear. Shining Armor wore a Military uniform with his rank and medals being one of the two to not be wearing black due to his red uniform. Luna wore a royal gown similar to what would fit for the gala, it was a dark blue with silver accents and a veil, Celestia wore a gown similar but white with gold accents and no veil.
“Twilight was many things, a student to some, a friend to others, she was mother to Spike, sister to Shining Armor and daughter to m- Night light, and Twilight Velvet. And in the end she was a hero to Equestria as a whole even in the end. For all she is and done Luna and I have decided to give her a special burial. We have started a special mausoleum right in to the mountain side. As more heroes are born and pass more tombs will be added but Twilight will be the only one with her own burial room. The Element of Magic will be buried with her in memory her bond with it. Now it is time to leave the gifts”. Celestia finished as the group enter the new mausoleum carved into the mountain each bearing gifts a old tradition as a final way of honoring the deceased.
Twilight's coffin was large fitting a alicorn and not a young 22 mare slightly on the smaller side of size. The base carved from a slab of obsidian topped with marble,lined with velvet and a silk pillow. Twilight herself or at least her body had been carefully taken care of by morticians using careful spells/procedures to repair her body (falling as far she did does some heavy damage) with as few stitches as possible and keeping all her parts inside and out with her. They also with the princesses help placed powerful anti-decay and preservation spells with the combined power of three alicorns and a bit of the magic of the tree of harmony making a nearly unbreakable spell. Twilight was adorned with gold earrings, bracelets, and a necklace. She was dressed in a black gown that covered her legs. She looked at peace.
Applejack’s gift was a wooden book cover carved from a ZapApple branch with crystallized gems of ZapApple jam. Rainbow Dash gave Twilight her medial from the Young Flyers competition. Rarity’s was twin earrings made from platinum (given to her from the princesses) with aether amethysts. Fluttershy left Twilight a amethysts hair clip in the shape of Twilights mark and a photo of them being together.While Pinkie pie wasn’t there she had made a gift beforehand a decorated picture of twilight and her friends.Spike placed a shed scale a old tradition among dragon for their loved ones. Night light and Velvet left her both her favorite books the original Daring Do and Tales of Starswirl The Bearded and a family photo. Shining armor placed the medal he was given when he first became captain of the guard. Cadence’s gift was a new smarty pants since Twilight had lost her old one after Lesson Zero. Luna attached the mark of the luna coart to the gold and silver necklace, the mark is a old tradition for those who have done a great dead for the luna coart.” Thank you Twilight for all you have done. For saving me from my failing, for helping me restart my court even when the nobles argued against it. I’m sorry i failed you Twilight rest in peace.” Luna said as she placed the silver moon on Twilight’s necklace. Celestia placed the mark of the solar court on the necklace. “Farewell Twilight you have no idea how much you meant to everyone. I’m sorry we weren’t able to show you that. Goodbye.” Celestia said with her wing over Twilight’s chest.She the placed the burial shroud sewn by Luna herself from abyss spider silk and solid darkness. Everyone said their goodbyes and went home in tears. When late at night Celestia returned to her daughters resting place. She carefully moved the lid. She spent what felt like hours just staring at Twilight's body but was only 10 minutes. “I’m so sorry Twilight you looked up to me as a mother and yet i was ignorant to how you saw me and in the end I realized to late how much you meant to me. At the least i can give you this a gift i made for when my foal was old enough. Goodbye my beloved daughter may you find peace wherever you are” Celestia said as she placed her final gift and Twilight's horn. It was a ornate horn ring pale white gold with two rings one at the base of her horn the other at its tip with a twisted middle rising up.
The Next Few Days
Three to Six Days since Twilight's death
Many would say Ponyville is happy town full of smiling and laughter, where you could find a party every other day. If you visited the town a few days ago you would have to agree. Not anymore though. Not after Twilight’s death. The surviving element bearers retreated to their home after the second day back. They couldn't handle that condolences for Twilight’s “murder” by the Changelings. Applejack stayed on her farm,Big Mac handled the market stall. She could always be seen farming the apple trees or the other crops they grow to keep their need of other food costs low. That’s if she hadn't worked herself point of passing out. “Wish they would stop reminding me how i failed her. How we murdered her.” can be heard while she worked. Applebloom never asked what she meant. No one has talked Rainbow dash since the funeral even though she been working her job in the weather patrol she never speaks or reacts she just does her job and leave. She hasn’t done any stunt in days. Her egos gone, gone when Twilight died because she betrayed Twilight. ’What's the point of being proud when in cost me my best friend’ is all the she can think crying as she holds Scootaloo her adopted daughter. Rarity hasn’t left her work area in the closed Boutique. No one has heard a sound but weeping and her sewing machine the only signs of life from her was when the dishes of food Sweetie belle left by her door (thankfully cooked by her mother). Fluttershy was in the hospital. She wasn’t able to handle Twilight's death and in her own mind murdering the pony she loved and tried to take her own life to join Twilight. Pure luck and a little caution is what saved her when Celestia had sent guards to keep a eye on the elements and saved her life. She was currently on a medically induced coma as they repair the damage to her wings. Pinkie was a mystery on the other hand. She's being doing her normal routine confusing everyone why she wasn't mourning. That is until the Cakes heard her talking to herself, as Twilight. When that revelation was heard the mood dropped even more. The element of laughter has had a mental breakdown.
The elements aren't the only ones mourning Twilight’s family were mourning they made a shrine of her on their fireplace. Luna while depressed was able to continue with her duties. Celestia on the other hand retreated from the public the only times anyone interacted with her was when the staff delivered her food even no one saw her. A Few of the Night watch stallions saw her silhouette heading to Twilight’s tomb.
