The white unicorn sighed with a wipe of his brow the instant the final rolls of fabric were floated into their designated spots on the rack. He had only been working for a half hour at most, but the stallion was already sweating profusely before turning off his horn. Fortunately, since it was still before noon in the Canterlot Boutique, there weren’t any customers around to notice the pudgy pony’s exhausted appearance. Meanwhile, the slender mare beside him barely paid heed to how he looked while overlooking her inventory clipboard.
“I must say, Ms. Saddles,” said the stallion after a quick breath as he glanced coyly towards her, “you certainly have a talent for acquiring the largest bulk purchases when I’m around.”
The pale blue unicorn cheekily sighed to her employer’s accusational reply, but didn’t try to deny his claim while smirking back at him. “Well, what do you expect me to do?” she asked with a raised brow. “It’s not every day that your employer is magically transformed into a stallion! It’d be foolish to not take advantage of that when I can~”
The pony rolled his eyes and shook his head away from Sassy Saddles, but his faint smile made it clear he wasn’t too peeved by her banter. “Well, it’s not like I turned into an Earth Pony, darling. I might have a hard time fitting into clothing sometimes, but that’s not due to any muscle.”
The unicorn lifted one of his thick forelegs to emphasize his point, showing how easily the bottom of his dress shirt rode up to expose his bulbous belly to Ms. Saddles. The mare giggled with a blush and looked away from him, not expecting to see such a blunt example as an addition to the stallion’s retort. She wanted to be frazzled by such an unfeminine display, but she honestly couldn’t when she saw her boss’ jeering grin. Compared to how the pony used to act when he was still Rarity, this sort of change was rather remarkable to say the least.
“Alright, Elusive!” she said with a raised hoof while trying not to chuckle too hard. “You made your point! I must say, if you’re going to lift your forelegs more often, you really need to refresh your antiperspirant. You have a couple sweat stains in your pits.”
Elusive exhaled sharply and lowered his hoof while trying not to smirk. Even though he knew she was right, he had a specific reason for not wearing any deodorant or antiperspirant. But instead of going into that private detail, he merely scoffed before replying, “I was just showing my limitations, Ms. Saddles. I might be a stallion, but that doesn’t mean I can be compared to ponies like Shining Armor or Big Macintosh. My strength still lies in my designs and my wit, just as it had before that incident.”
“Absolutely,” Sassy said in assurance. “I already know that very well. I’m just having a little fun, that’s all.”
“Well, I’m not objecting to that by any means.” Carrying a smile as warm as the hue of his rosy cheeks, the chubby stallion chuckled while shrugging his shoulders. “I’m just glad I can have a sense of humor about it all.”
Sassy Saddles nodded with a smile of her own, happy to see how genuine the former mare said that reply. Given how depressed Elusive used to be after that accidental mishap with Twilight’s magic, she was just grateful he hadn’t succumbed to anything worse than a drastic weight gain. She had expected him to start losing weight after coming around to accept his new body and gender; however, it seemed that the exact opposite had occurred. Instead of trying to regain his lean and slender physique, Elusive remained at his husky size that barely fit his tailor-made suits. He even grew out a noticeable purple stubble on his muzzle, which made him appear even more masculine than before.
But despite how drastic Elusive’s change had been, Sassy was nothing but supportive as she said, “Believe me, I couldn’t be happier to see you in such high spirits. Although I have to wonder…”
As the stallion raised a brow at his employee, the mare waited a second before asking with a curious tilt of her head, “What inspired you to remain at such a… unique form? I mean, don’t you miss how you used to look?”
Sassy was worried she was going to offend Elusive with such a statement. Fortunately, the white pony merely scoffed and waved his hoof in dismissal. “Oh, please! Having a petite figure was one thing, but it’s been surprisingly refreshing to not worry about silly things like calorie-counting, or gym memberships. Plus, given how many overweight ponies there are around Equestria, it feels like a public service to make them feel more beautiful with their own figures, instead of feeling like they need to be changed.”
Sassy Saddles shrugged in understanding to her boss’ point, but that answer made her brows raise. She thought back to something she recalled hearing the other day, which seemed fairly relatable to Elusive’s new mindset. However, before she could say anything about it towards him, the bell that hung over the front door rang loudly enough to make both ponies turn around.
“I got your lunch, Elusive!” chirped the purple drake as he wobbled into the shop cheerfully. Only his feet and claws could be seen while balancing two massive pizza boxes, and a greasy paper bag on top which was stuffed with cheese bread. However, the instant he placed it on a nearby end-table (which Elusive quickly cleared a vase from with his magic to keep the dragon from dropping it), Spike’s chipper smile was seen clear as day. “Man, you wouldn’t believe how short the line was at the pizza place! It was never like that when Twi and I used to live in Canterlot!”
“Well, thank you very much for the meal, Spikey Wikey~” said Elusive as he walked up to the dreamily-smiling drake, and bent down to give him a loving peck on the lips. Sassy Saddles looked away for a second while blushing, still unsure how to feel about their relationship. Given how she first met Spike when he was just some kid who gushed over Rarity, the fact that he was now an official boyfriend to Elusive was rather jarring. However, despite how unusual their love may have looked, even the mare could tell how genuine and deep their bond was.
Alas, Sassy’s flustered expression was quickly noticed by Elusive, who promptly pulled away from Spike in embarrassment after that kiss. “Oh! Ummm… Sorry if the PDA was too much for you.”
“N-No, no! It’s perfectly fine!” she assured as she looked back at him with her hooves raised in sincerity. “Believe me, considering how you were before, I couldn’t be happier you have someone as special as Spike now.”
Elusive sighed and smiled warmly back at her, not able to argue against her truthfully sweet sentiment. Spike looked away with a bashful blush as he smiled and put his claws behind his back. “Awww, come on,” he muttered as he tried to deflect Sassy’s compliment. “I’m not that special.”
Elusive huffed very strongly in obvious disapproval. “Oh, balderdash! I couldn’t disagree more!” To emphasize his point, the chubby unicorn hoisted Spike up with his magic, and pulled him into his embrace for a much deserved nuzzling. While Spike squirmed and giggled from his mate’s fuzzy muzzle, Sassy Saddles chuckled more comfortably at seeing how happy her boss looked. The stallion pulled his face away for a moment while giving a heartfelt grin to the drake he was holding in his aura. “Spike, there’s no one in the world more special than you. And not just because you have a Daddy kink~”
“H-HEY!” blurted Spike as he blushed even deeper and squirmed in embarrassment. Sassy’s face was equally as red, and she had to turn around to conceal her involuntary giggling. Even though she figured there was something sexual between the two, she didn’t expect to hear Elusive say that so casually. Although, given how open he was about everything else, the mare couldn’t say she was too surprised to see he wasn’t a prude anymore. Nor could she say she was too shocked about learning that fact about the dragon, since she noticed how heavy his blush would get whenever the thick stallion walked around with all that jiggle.
“Elusiiiiiive,” whined the drake before his coltfriend finally relented and placed him back on the ground, “I don’t want her knowing that!”
“Oh, please,” jeered Elusive with a roll of his eyes. “You’re alright with offering belly rubs to half of the clients at my shop, but not with me saying that fact in front of Sassy?”
Despite blushing with a guilty pout, Spike could only huff as he rubbed his forearm with a claw and shrugged. “Well, umm… I dunno…”
Sassy Saddles felt a little bad for Spike, not wanting him to feel ashamed for liking a specific type. Her earlier recollection returned, and she remembered hearing what recently happened to one of their best clients. While the mare was temporarily paused in thought, Elusive sighed and said assuredly, “Spike, it’s okay. I apologize if I went over the line, but you have to admit you advertise your tastes without much subtlety. At least, around other stallions. If anything, you should be happy you’re with a pony’s who lets you embrace that~”
That last line made Sassy’s face remain fairly blushed, mostly from that intentional sing-song tone Elusive used at the end of that sentence. Her lips stayed bitten for a brief second or two, looking like she was contemplating something. As the mare remained silent, Spike grew a meager smile and shrugged to his mate’s point. “Well… I guess so. I mean, what can I say?” he asked while his smile grew more sheepish. “I… I really like big guys, and… I don’t want ponies like you to feel unappreciated.”
Elusive smiled lovingly at the drake, carrying the same devotion he had when he first fell for him. Meanwhile, Sassy Saddles sighed in confirmation of what she wanted to try. After pulling a strand of her orange mane away from her face, she cleared her throat to get the couple’s attention. “Well, ummm… I’m not sure if it’s the most relevant topic, but… I do happen to know of somepony who might need a confidence boost…”
Spike and Elusive both glanced back at the mare with raised brows. “Really?” asked the stallion with a determined and cautious look, almost like he came across a new beacon on Twilight’s Friendship Map. “Who do you mean, darling?”
Sassy sighed worriedly, knowing that her employer would most likely be shocked. But after taking a second to rub her foreleg, she looked at the couple with an uncomfortable expression and answered, “Well… It’s Fancy Pants. From what I heard, he… just got out of a really bitter divorce.”
Elusive gasped in absolute shock. “Oh my GOSH!” Due to how stunning that news was to him, the stallion instinctively pulled a fainting couch out of nowhere to fall back on dramatically. Unfortunately, since he wasn’t the thin and featherweight mare he used to be, his reaction didn’t turn out the way he wanted. “Oh, that is the WORST! POSSI--”
CRASH!!
The pony’s bulbous weight made the fainting couch shatter like it was made of toothpicks, and he was left blushing in utter embarrassment while laid in the ruined chair. Spike groaned and face-clawed to his coltfriend’s reaction. “Seriously, dude? That’s like, the fourth fainting couch this month! Where do you keep getting those from!?”
In a different section of Canterlot, the thickest curtains were draped over a bay window, keeping a formerly pristine parlor shrouded in darkness. Even though room itself was near impossible to see, any pony who entered would’ve been able to smell that someone was in there by the unwashed musk alone. Various empty food packages and dirty plates were strewn across the hardwood floors, and the once-immaculate couch that sat in the middle of the parlor was now smeared with food stains and dried tears. As for the pony who was sprawled out on the couch, he was just barely awake despite being completely alone in the dark.
Fancy Pants, one of Canterlot’s most respected Nobles and Investors, looked absolutely nothing like the unicorn he used to be. In the weeks that passed since the aftermath of his disastrous divorce proceedings, the stallion had turned into somepony who would’ve made his business associates gasp in shock. Due to not bothering to groom or bathe himself for days on end, his white fur was matted and reeking of his sweat. His muzzle had grown a rather thick and unkempt beard that matched his baby-blue mane, and completely covered up his trademark mustache and recent second chin.
He still had his tuxedo jacket on, but it was heavily wrinkled and adorned in his unwashed musk. It was also opened up at the front, not that he would’ve been able to close it due to the massive gut that hung below his sagging chest. He used to be in rather pristine shape for his age when he was still married; but now, he had an undeniably flabby belly and moobs which made most of his wardrobe unwearable. Fancy Pants may have still had his mansion (and roughly half of his fortune), but he looked absolutely unrecognizable while in such a brutish, thick, and hairy form.
However, before he could try to succumb to the comforting escape of sleep once more, he was startled by the sound of several knocks at the front door. The stallion groaned bitterly from within his shadowed cocoon, hating that somepony blatantly ignored the obvious ‘No Solicitors’ sign he hung in front of his townhouse. Fancy hoped that whomever it was would think he wasn’t home, or realize that he wouldn’t answer if he was. Unfortunately, the guest continued to knock every twenty seconds or so for what felt like an eternity; even though it was realistically only a few minutes, that intrusive knocker was tenacious enough to make him groan even louder and sit up on the couch.
“Oh, for Celestia’s sake!” moaned the Fancy Pants frustration, hating that his self-wallowing was being so rudely interrupted. After an exasperated sigh, the stallion finally got up from his chair, and stormed out of the parlor to deal with the unwanted guest himself. “I have NO idea who’s there,” he shouted quite angrily while storming up to the door, “but that sign CLEARLY says No Solicitors! SO GO! AWAY!!”
The pony winced as he entered the range of light that was shining through the decorative windows around his front door. Due to how long he spent in his parlor, the unicorn had to clench his eyes shut briefly while the knocking continued. Before Fancy could try to repeat himself, or threaten to call the police, his ears perked up when he heard an oddly familiar voice from the other side of the door. “Fancy Pants, is that you? It’s me, Elusive.”
“Ummm… I think you might need to clarify that,” added a young-sounding voice from outside. “I don’t think he’s seen you since before that change.”
“Oh! Right, ummm… Well, I… used to be Rarity? I believe one of my friends wrote to you about that, remember?”
Fancy’s brows raised in immediate realization, having vaguely recalled when he received word of the former fashionista’s change. Despite having so much on his own plate, the older stallion’s ears lowered in guilt for not keeping in touch since. He sighed briefly and replied, “Oh. Ummm… R-Right. I… I did receive that letter, Miss R--I mean… Mister Elusive…”
The unicorn winced painfully at misgendering Elusive so quickly, even though he figured his friend’s situation was fairly different from other examples where that faux pas would be disapproved. Nevertheless, despite not wanting to be rude to a friend he hadn’t heard from in so long, the stallion still felt obligated to say honestly, “Listen, I… I appreciate you trying to come over, but I really don’t think this is the right time.”
“Fancy Pants, please,” said Elusive in a worried-sounding voice. “I heard about what happened, and I just… I’m so sorry. I brought Spike with me, and I just… We wanted to try and help.”
“Yeah!” added Spike in a genuine tone of his own. “I mean, if you wanna be alone, that’s perfectly fine. But we just… we wanna make sure you’re okay, that’s all.”
Fancy breathed out heavily while his eyes were closed, not wanting to risk tearing up any more than he already had. Part of him wanted to accept their offer, even though his desire to crawl back into his couch felt much more appealing for the sake of his fragile emotional state. However, even if he did wish to speak with them, his gaudy appearance and undone jacket would’ve been highly inappropriate when speaking to someone as respectable as Elusive. So after a moment of silence, Fancy’s head lowered in shame as he slowly turned away from the door. “I’ll be fine. I just… I’m not in any state to be seen right now...”
He made several steps back towards the parlor, hopeful that his friend would understand and leave him be. Alas, the unicorn was still within earshot when he heard Elusive reply, “Fancy Pants, I… I’ve been in your situation before, after my gender was changed. And… and you have to believe me when I say I know what it’s like. I… I was a hermit for the longest time, and I felt like nopony should see me either. But if you continue to shut yourself away, you won’t be able to improve. I… I’d probably still be wallowing in my home if Spike hadn’t have come to help me.”
“Yeah! And I probably never would’ve had him as my boyfriend!”
“Spike, do you really think it’s appropriate to brag right now? He’s just been divorced!”
“I wasn’t bragging! I was just… ummm… Okay yeah, that wasn’t needed. Uhhhh, sorry Fancy Pants!”
Despite not minding too much about the drake’s impromptu statement, Fancy could only huff and say in response, “Elusive, please! I… I can’t deal with this right now, and I…”
His words paused briefly, and he blinked a couple times before glancing back at the front door. Even though he felt like he looked like an absolute wreck, his brows stayed raised upon recalling what Spike just said. He wasn’t sure whether or not to find it surprising (especially given the dragon’s feelings towards Rarity), but he still tilted his head and asked in a befuddled tone, “Did… did you say he was your boyfriend?”
“Ummm…” Elusive’s words trailed off for only a couple seconds before he replied bashfully, “Well, uhhh… Yes. I mean, it’s a long story, but, ummm… Yeah, Spike is my boyfriend.”
“Don’t worry!” chirped the drake insistently. “I might look like a kid, but I’m legally an adult! Elusive’s not a pedo or anything!”
“SPIKE!!”
“What!? I said you’re not a pedo!”
“Still, he doesn’t need to hear THAT!”
“What? It’s not like I called you my Daddy to him--MMMPHH!!”
Meanwhile, Fancy Pants stood with an utterly confounded expression while gawking at the front door. Even though he had more than a few questions to ask about their relationship, he certainly couldn’t deny that the two sounded like a legitimate couple. He wasn’t sure how to think about it, mostly since he always figured Spike was just a child; however, after hearing all of that dialogue, the stallion realized that they may have been a better couple to talk with than his other friends. Heck, given what he heard, Fancy was sure they wouldn’t be as judgemental as some of the ponies in his former circles who learned of the details of his divorce.
After a long moment of thought, Fancy Pants sighed painfully and walked back towards the front door. After knocking a couple times to make the couple stop bickering, he said in a reserved tone through the door, “Elusive? I… I just want to ask since I’m not sure. Does this mean you’re, ummm… gay?”
A couple seconds passed in silence before Elusive answered. “Oh, ummm… Well, I… I do identify as a male now, so… I suppose I should be, aren’t I? I mean, I’ve always prefered males, so… yes. Yes I am.”
“Ummm… I’m kinda between gay and bi,” added Spike in clarification. “I mean, I obviously liked Rarity as a girl, but… Yeah, I like Elusive a lot more.”
Fancy Pants let out a brief sigh of relief and said, “Okay, I… I just wanted to make sure. If… If you give me a moment to freshen up, I’ll… I’ll let you in, alright? Just… please don’t judge how my place looks.”
“I wouldn’t even think to do so,” assured Elusive sincerely. “I’ve been in that same kind of slump, so I completely understand. Just let us in, and we’ll help you clean up, okay?”
After lighting up his horn, and floating out an unused bathrobe from nearby to cover himself with, he took a breath before unlocking his door. He tried to step backwards into a more shadowed part of his home by the parlor, but he was sure he still looked hideous when Elusive and Spike came in. However, any judgemental thoughts he may have had about his own appearance were immediately extinguished as soon as he saw Elusive come into his home. Even though the pony’s mane and coat were the same colors he recalled Rarity having, the fact that they were on an equally thick and hairy-looking stallion left Fancy frozen in brief shock.
“Oh, Fancy Pants!” Elusive immediately rushed up to the unicorn and pulled him in for a much-deserved hug, completely ignoring how the stallion must’ve looked or smelled. Meanwhile, Spike stood at the doorway with widened eyes and a slight blush when he saw how much Fancy changed since the last time they met. While the drake quietly closed the door while staring at the two thick stallions, Elusive sighed heavily while holding his client dearly in his hooves. “Fancy, I… I really wish I met with you sooner. I’m so sorry…”
“It… It’s alright…” Fancy had to clench his eyes shut while hugging Elusive in return and struggling not to cry. “I completely understand. I mean, it’s clear you were preoccupied yourself.”
“I know I have,” admitted Elusive with a small shrug before pulling away from Fancy, “but you’re still a dear friend to me, and the last thing I want is to see you fall into that same pit I was in.”
Fancy Pants nodded silently, but still looked uncomfortable as he glanced back at that dirtied and darkened parlor he emerged from. “Well, ummm… would it be alright if we talked upstairs?” he asked while trying to conceal the strong hue of shame on his face. “I haven’t been up there in a while, so it’s in a better shape than down here.”
“That’s perfectly fine,” assured Elusive, who kept a loving smile as the two went towards the stairs. “It’ll be a good excuse to get you a shower too.”
Fancy chuckled lightly, and nodded his head while Elusive motioned him towards the stairs. Spike followed the two from behind, blushing even deeper as he saw how thick both of the stallions’ backsides looked. With each step they made up the stairs side-by-side, their flabby flanks jiggled strongly enough to make the little drake shiver with a bit lip. Even though he and Elusive came here to help Fancy Pants overcome his depression, Spike couldn’t help thinking back to how things went when he tried to do the same for his coltfriend. And with the addition of going up to Fancy’s bedroom, and even a possible shower, the little dragon’s mind was starting to jot out some rather... inappropriate ideas.
“So, ummm…” Elusive bit his lip uncomfortably, unsure whether or not to ask so soon. However, since Fancy Pants was compliant so far, the younger stallion decided to ask after a quick exhale, “Fancy, if you don’t mind me asking… what happened between you and your wife?”
Fancy closed his eyes and groaned through his teeth, prompting Elusive to wince and hope he didn’t overstep his boundaries. Meanwhile, the divorced unicorn paused for a couple seconds before replying, “She… she’s not my wife, Elusive.”
“Sorry, I mean your Ex-Wife. I’m not judging you, darling. I jus--”
“N-No, that’s not it,” interrupted Fancy hastily. By the time the two reached the top of the steps, they both stopped while Spike remained a few feet behind them. While the drake’s eyes stayed glued to both of those thick stallion rumps, he could barely pay attention when Fancy confessed meagerly, “You see, Elusive, ummm… Fleur De Lis wasn’t as much of a wife as she was a… ummm…”
Elusive’s muzzle skewed a bit in uncertainty, and his ears pulled back when he tensed up worriedly. “A… gold-digger?”
“No!” huffed the older unicorn with a roll of his eyes. “She was a… She was my beard, alright? We were only married legally for the sake of my appearance.”
Of all the answers Elusive would’ve expected, hearing that response was certainly not one of them. He and Spike both stood in silence with widened eyes on the shameful-looking Fancy, and it took a moment before Elusive asked in clarification, “Wait, so… so you mean that you’re…”
Fancy Pants sighed painfully before nodding his head. It was still hard to admit, even after all the fallout he received from his former friends about it, but he hoped that Elusive would be more understanding. “Yes. I… I’m a homosexual. A-And… you have to understand that when I was your age, an openly-gay stallion couldn’t exactly get as many opportunities as they would nowadays. I had an image to uphold, and… Fleur was willing to fill that position in the public eye.”
Elusive looked like his heart was about to break, and he quickly pulled Fancy in for another caring hug. Meanwhile, Spike blinked a couple times before he asked, “So… does this mean you never… had a boyfriend or anything?” Even though his question was purely meant to be for curiosity sake, he was lucky neither of the stallions were looking down to see his lingering blush.
“Oh, heavens no! It wasn’t like that at all!” After letting go of Elusive, Fancy chuckled while wiping some sweat from his forehead. “Believe me, I had many partners over the years, as did she. We had a good understanding when it came to extramarital activities. However, ummm…”
That was when the unicorn’s smile dissipated, and his ears lowered as he looked away from both of them. “Well… my most recent coltfriend happened to be somepony I found to be very sweet and loving. But… after over a year together, he came out as bisexual, and… he ended up leaving me for Fleur. And since I never had her sign a prenup, the two happened to get a good lawyer behind my back, and… y-yeah...”
Spike hissed through his teeth and cringed hard. “Ooooohhhhh… I’m really sorry, dude.”
Fancy didn’t say anything, but he gave a soft and thankful nod to the drake. Elusive pursed his lips tightly in condolence, and took a moment before leading Fancy towards the bathroom. “We’ll do whatever we can to help you, alright? Hopefully you’ll be in better spirits after a quick shower.”
Even though that solution sounded about as effective as a band-aid for a broken leg, Fancy Pants didn’t try to object before heading towards his restroom. Elusive stayed out in the hallway with Spike, not wanting to disturb the stallion as he freshened up. As soon as the bathroom door closed, Elusive huffed worriedly and looked back at his mate. “Well, it might be good to start cleaning up while he’s…”
Elusive’s words trailed off when he saw how red Spike’s blush looked. Meanwhile, the drake was practically frozen as he stood with a strongly bit lip, and his widened eyes looking between Elusive and that bathroom door. The unicorn could tell that Spike was thinking strongly about something. However, he needed a moment to recognize that his boyfriend looked very similar to that first night when learned about his Daddy kink.
“Ummm… Spikey?” he asked clearly enough to make the drake jolt in response. “Is something the matter?”
“N-No! Ummm… I mean, uhhhh…” With his expression looking more nervous than that time Twilight discovered his dirty Power Ponies fanfiction, the dragon needed a second to take a breath and keep from stammering too much. “I-I’m fine! Honest! I’m… I’m just, ummmm…”
The moment he saw how Spike’s eyes peered back at that bathroom door, and also how his pudgy legs squirmed a little closer together, Elusive’s brows raised immensely in realization. Even though he shouldn’t have been too surprised, the unicorn still had to blink a couple times before narrowing his eyes on his mate. “Spikey… You better not be thinking what I think you are.”
“W… Well ummmm…” By that point, the drake’s face looked as red as Big Macintosh’s coat. However, despite how flustered he may have looked, Spike was able to gulp before saying in a sheepish voice. “I… I really don’t think I’m the only one.”
“Ugh!” Elusive scoffed in immediate dismissal while rolling his eyes. “Spike! Are you serious right now?! I know you and I haven’t been able to finish during our train ride, but you can NOT be considering trying something with Fancy Pants!”
“Well, why not?” blurted Spike impulsively, causing him to wince for a second while Elusive gawked. Fortunately, the pony wasn’t able to reply before his drake added, “I mean, come on! He lost two important ponies in his life, and probably hasn’t had any… affections since then! Like… would it really be that bad?”
“Oh my gosh, I can NOT believe you’re considering this!” shouted Elusive in a confounded tone of voice. “Fancy Pants is one of my investors, Spike! We can’t be trying anything like that with him!”
“Why not!?” Spike tilted his head while placing his claws on his hips and shooting a flat stare back at the unicorn. “You were alright with that threesome with Filthy Rich last month!”
Elusive’s muzzle wrinkled as he immediately began to blush. “W-Well! Th… That was different!”
“Really!? How about when we helped Troubleshoes fatten Braeburn up, and then had a foursome with them? Sleeping with Applejack’s friends is fine, but your old client is off-limits?”
“He just got out of a nasty divorce!”
“So was Filthy Rich! But you let me have fun with him!”
“Spike, please stop trying to justify this!”
“I’m just saying that Fancy Pants would probably appreciate it! I mean, did you see how hot he looked? He was like, in full-blown Daddy mode! I was tempted to tell him not to shower yet so I could--”
“Ummmm… guys?”
Elusive and Spike both froze in an instant, not expecting to hear Fancy Pants' feeble, but very clear voice. As the color drained from both of their faces, it took the couple a moment of awkward silence before turning their heads to the open bathroom door. Since the two started chatting before Fancy Pants could turn on the shower, it shouldn’t have been much of a surprise that he heard everything they said. So by the time the couple looked back at the older stallion, his eyes were the size of frisbees while staring at both of them in shock.
“I… I know I live in a mansion, but that doesn’t mean the rooms are soundproof.”
Elusive had a hoof tightly over his mouth, looking absolutely mortified that his client and investor heard so much unnecessary information about him and Spike. When he finally pulled his shaky hoof away, he tried his hardest to speak through his overwhelming embarrassment, “I… I am so sorry you heard all that, Fancy Pants. I swear, we’ll leave right now if you…”
Halfway through his apology, Elusive’s words dissipated when he saw how Fancy Pants’ stare was directed right at Spike. Meanwhile, the drake kept his embarrassed blush while looking back at him and rubbing his forearm. Spike wasn’t able to say anything at that moment, which was fortunate for Fancy as he cleared his throat and asked, “You… you really think I look attractive like this?”
The stallion clearly asked that with an understandably befuddled look on his face, but the dragon was able to see the faintest hint of a blush underneath his blue beard. After taking a small breath, Spike could only shrug with a smirk and motion towards Elusive. “Well… Why do you think I like him so much? I… I have a thing for guys with Daddy-bods.”
“SPIKE! He… Urrrrghhhh…” Elusive groaned and face-hoofed in utter humiliation, unable to even look at either of them. “He does not need to know that.”
“I’m just being honest! Jeez!” Spike rolled his eyes to Elusive’s embarrassment, not recalling ever seeing him this freaked-out about a potential threesome before. Of course, the fact that this stallion was rather important to him business-wise may have had something to do with it. Alas, while his coltfriend had his face covered, Spike huffed in determination and looked back at Fancy Pants. “Listen,” he said in a bluntly honest tone, “I know you’ve been through a lot, but Elusive and I have helped out stallions like you before with… sexual stuff. Now, I’m not saying you have to accept it! I’ll just say that… if you ever did, we’d be open for it, okay?”
Elusive’s jaw was nearly touching the floor as he gawked at his boyfriend, unsure whether to be furious or impressed by the drake’s boldness. Meanwhile, Fancy Pants just blinked while looking at the dragon with his brows raised. Spike merely his put his claws up to indicate he was done with his proposal and said, “There, that’s it. If you want us to just clean up around here or talk a bit, that’s fine too. We’ll let you get back to your shower, and I’m sorry you heard us--”
“Okay.”
Spike and Elusive were both taken aback by that quick reply, even though Fancy Pants said it rather meagerly. As the older stallion stood with his blush becoming more apparent, he took a second to breathe in before clarifying weakly. “Ummmm… I mean… This is the longest I’ve been without sex in years, so I…”
Now it was Fancy’s turn to get a shocked stare from Elusive. The younger unicorn seemed quite confounded to hear one of his best clients agree to Spike’s proposition so quickly, which was a large contrast to the dragon’s sudden shit-eating grin. Elusive tilted his head slightly while staring at Fancy before he could ask, “You… You really want to…”
Fancy didn’t wait for Elusive’s pause to finish, and nodded his head quickly at both of them. “I… I know this might not be professional to ask, Elusive. But… But I really haven’t been the same since my wife and boyfriend left. And… And I’m willing to temporarily put our professional relationship aside if it means feeling appreciated again.”
Even though the older pony looked a little surprised at the words coming out of his mouth, it was clear from his voice that he meant what he said. Meanwhile, Spike slowly walked towards Fancy preemptively while giving an eager grin back to Elusive. “Wellllllll?~ You wanna leave him hanging?~”
Elusive still needed a second to process what was happening, even when he saw Fancy Pants shrug to Spike’s antsy behavior. He may have had a slight attraction to him back when he was still Rarity, but Elusive had no idea how to feel about doing this now. Alas, it was hard for him to say no when Spike was giving him those adorably sultry half-lidded eyes; plus, considering how Fancy Pants was newly single and willing, the pony could already feel his member start to twitch within his sheathe.
After a moment of reflection, Elusive huffed in defeat and smiled faintly. “Well… it’d probably be rude to refuse when he asked, wouldn’t it?~”
Fancy still looked hesitant, but he was able to smile thankfully in response. “Thank you. I… I know this might be inappropriate, but I don’t want this to interfere with us as business partners.”
“Believe me, I don’t want that either,” assured Elusive as he walked up to the unicorn, as well as the drake who had his lip bitten while eyeing Fancy’s moobs.
“Oh, man~” purred the drake greedily as he got a full helping of eye-candy. “Please tell me you won’t bathe yet~”
“Well…” Despite feeling a bit gross while his fur was matted in sweat, something about Spike’s enthusiastic grin made him smirk and ask cheekily, “That depends, young man… Would a tongue-bath be appropriate?~”
Spike’s face lit up like a Hearth’s Warming tree, and he stared up at him wide-eyed to say, “You. Me. Elusive. Bedroom. NOW.”
While Fancy Pants chuckled with a growing grin, Elusive sighed and rolled his eyes. “Well, at least he stopped saying ‘Spike want.’”
