Luna is not only the keeper of the night, but the keeper of memories, each light in the night sky for each pony that was born in equestria, but one star grew brighter then all the rest, the star that gives hope and light too those who are lost, the north star, put there by Luna when news reached her of its redemption.

But its hope and light waned before it was snuffed out, and Luna wants to know why, why the brightest star simply went out with out any warning, but the dying heart knows, and the answer will call a reckoning the likes of which The human 5 couldn't even begin too imagine.
