Chapters It was an average day in Ponyville. Ponies were out doing their daily grind, readily preparing themselves for whatever their schooling might have, or just casually maxing and relaxing all cool, like our local story focus here, Octavia Melody and her lover, Vinyl Scratch. These two musical ponies most often seen in the background were just relaxing at home today, the two of them gathered in the living room and watching TV.
Octavia had worn a dark pink sweater that hugged her figure surprisingly tight, accented somewhat by matching slippers and white pants. Vinyl herself was wearing a white t-shirt that lacked one of her shoulders, showing off the strap of her black bra. She also wore jean shorts and black slippers, and currently watched the TV upside-down on the couch, letting her stomach be exposed to the camera for the sake of none other than fanservice. The door didn't take long to ring though, and Octavia decided that she should answer it. Not to say Vinyl couldn't do it, but more along the lines of how she didn't want whoever was at the door to be either scared away or too turned on to speak right. Opening it up, however....
"Heya!" Rainbow Dash greeted as she gave Octavia a little salute with her hand above her right eye. This tomboy pegasus was dressed in a tight, white tank top and black, latex booty-shorts. Her lithe frame didn't exactly leave a lot to work with when it came to such an outfit, but Rainbow had always relied on such a figure. To quote her, 'I don't need to be thick to be hot'.
"Hello, Rainbow. How might I help you today?" Octavia greeted rather casually, thinking to herself that Rainbow needed them for something. Based on the confused expression on Rainbow's face though, that didn't appear to be the case.
"Uh...Vinyl invited me to hang out, said it was 'for reasons'?" the prismatic pegasus answered, making Octavia look the fool for this one shot. When the classical mare looked towards the couch, she found only a blinking, white outline of Vinyl's body where it last was.
"He-hey, RD. Glad ta have ya, come on in!" Vinyl welcomed their apparent guest into the house, Octavia looking quite dumbfounded for the time being before just sighing and moving on. She should've figured that Vinyl would consider inviting some guests at some point, but she didn't think it would be during the day.
"This isn't a booty call, is it, Vinyl?" Octavia asked with a very stern expression. She looked more like a mother to Vinyl than a girlfriend with a face like that . The DJ just gave a little smile and scratched one of her ears.
"Don't worry about it, babe. You're not the kinda pony I'd ever cheat on, I swear!" Vinyl answered, though she certainly didn't look very worried about it. She instead chuckled a little bit and Octavia just sighed, massaging her temples a little as Rainbow Dash just shrugged her shoulders. Vinyl levitated a soda from the fridge to her prismatic friend, clinking another soda can with her as they watched whatever was on. Octavia sat in a comfortable-arm chair with a casual expression on her face.
Together, the trio of ponies casually went and watched a good show of the Wonderbolts doing their usual aerial acrobatics. Many of them looked to be pushing themselves rather hard, and Rainbow looked especially interested in just how much they'd push. Octavia noticed this and thought to herself about why she seemed so happy. Of course, it took her a good, long moment to remember the main reason Rainbow was so happy to see them in the first place.
"So Dash, when's the next major meetup for your Wonderbolt show?" Vinyl asked her. Leave it to Vinyl to ask the major questions that Octavia didn't know how to ask.
"Funny story, it's actually coming up around next week. It's gonna be so awesome, I swear!" Rainbow smiled happily, looking like her face was about to explode in happiness at any moment.
"I see" Octavia mused, blinking at her enthusiasm.
"Hey, it's been something I've always wanted to do, and it's so much more satisfying knowing that I'm doing it now. That ever happen to you guys, or are you still waiting for it?" Rainbow then asked, to which Vinyl smirked and stood up, sauntering on over towards Octavia and wrapping her arms around her shoulders, nuzzling into her cheek with an equally cheeky smile.
"You tell me" Vinyl said as Octavia couldn't help but find a reason to smile as well. She brought a hand up and casually started to caress the DJ's face a little bit, giving Dash a rather sweet moment to admire.
"Aww" Dash mused as Vinyl laughed a little bit. The two ponies looked so adorable together.
"Yup. Wanted to be living with this work of art since high school" Vinyl cooed rather sickeningly sweet. Dash couldn't help but think to herself that Vinyl was just...too cheesy sometimes. Part of her wondered if Twilight thought about jokes and lines the same way as quesadillas.
"Actually...I don't think I ever heard about how you two met in the first place. How did that end up happening?" Rainbow then asked, thinking to herself that it could prove entertaining.
"Well, it's certainly something I never thought would happen. Unfortunately for me though, here we are" Octavia joked, though Vinyl seemed unphased by the bad attempt at humor.
"Come on, you know you love me" Vinyl teased, poking the side of the earth mare's face afterward. Octavia gave a little chuckle at her and simply sighed in relief afterwards.
"So anyway, it was probably one of the best times in high school I'd had when we first hooked up and all" Vinyl then started as she took a seat on the couch again, sitting right next to her prismatic friend with a big smile on her face and a glint in her eyes. Before any of them even knew it, the screen started swirling, showing them a series of flashbacks in reverse before eventually finding themselves at a high school proper. This would be where the story began.

It was 7:00 AM, and the sun rose up over the horizon without any real difficulty. Many different students began to file themselves in order towards the local high school in Ponyville. Many students chatted with their friends as they approached the building, some taking their time inside the doors while others simply headed in without any difficulty. Sitting around the front steps though was a white unicorn mare wearing a hooded vest and some plain jeans, rocking out to all manner of different songs on her headphones, said songs being blared loud enough to actually be heard through them.
"Ooh, yeah, uh-huh" she could be heard muttering under her breath, enjoying the sounds of her tunes playing. Most other students seemed to know just who she was though, and a lot of them actually gave her some friendly waves as they passed her by, not that she could really see them. Her dark sunglasses hid her eyes incredibly well, but also served as an excuse for her to have her eyes closed, just to better focus on her music.
"Typical Vinyl, always jamming out to her own tunes" commented one background character as he and a couple of other stallions all just smiled and waved, walking right past the young music-lover. Vinyl herself just didn't seem to pay much attention to anything else for a good while, and unfortunately for her, it also involved a lot of time spent outside. It was already 7:30 when someone else had managed to even get her attention and try and get her inside.
"Excuse me?" greeted a rather sweet voice, accented by the brilliant English sounds of Trottingham. A gray earth mare with charcoal-black hair and a long tail had been trying to get Vinyl's attention for some time now. Of course, she should've guessed from how loud her music had been playing that simple speaking wouldn't be enough to get her attention. With that in mind, she made a bolder attempt to rouse her from her music, tapping on her shoulder and getting a confused little grunt in return.
Vinyl looked to the other mare in confusion, seeing her lips flapping without any kind of sound coming from her. Spending so much time playing her music that loudly had managed to completely trick the white unicorn into thinking that she didn't have it on. She tilted her head just slightly as the other mare got greatly annoyed and started gesturing to her ears, and Vinyl immediately understood, turning down the volume of her music and pulling down her headphones.
"What's up?" she greeted casually, though the other mare didn't seem to think that well of her so far.
"I was wondering if you were the representative waiting for me? I'm Octavia Melody, the new transfer student from Trottingham?" Octavia asked as kindly as she could manage, though it was abundantly clear that she was losing her patience. Vinyl herself just shrugged her shoulders at that though, clearly not impressed or otherwise not interested.
"Never heard of any transfer student. What year you in?" Vinyl asked as she held her arms behind her head and leaned against the steps.
"I'm in my junior year, as a matter of fact" Octavia answered plainly, crossing her arms over her surprisingly ample chest. Vinyl took advantage of the sights to stare at such lovely breasts, seeing them and already knowing that this girl was packing Ds. Earth ponies always had great figures, not to mention perfect metabolism to give them the ability to eat anything that they wanted. "I was told that there would be someone representing the school to show me around, o are you that pony or aren't you?" Octavia asked, wanting to get some answers and having to spend a solid five minutes trying to get them didn't help her at all.
"Hey, hey, no need to pull an attitude, girl" Vinyl responded, shrugging her shoulders as she thought of ways to try and get her to calm down. "Look, let's just see the principal. Still got another half an hour before we gotta start up our classes and all, let's just see her and get this straightened out" the unicorn told her, getting a long sigh in return.
"Very well. So long as I can actually get my classes settled, I'll be happy" Octavia mused, grabbing what seemed to be a large cello case in addition to her backpack before following Vinyl inside.
"So, what part of Equestria are you from? You sound like you're from Trottingham or maybe even Canterlot" Vinyl asked as they walked throughout the school's halls, various students all looking towards them as they walked around.
"Trottingham born, and mostly raised in Canterlot. My family has quite a history of moving around" Octavia answered, having calmed down by quite a bit. She actually did look fairly pretty, Vinyl thought, and when they had managed to reach the principal's office, they were a little bit surprised to see the door open up right away, just in time for said principal to exit.
"Oh, you must be the new transfer student" she greeted, being a slightly older Earth mare than what would've been expected, obviously having been in her mid-twenties at best. She wore a rather professional looking dark pink pants-suit. Her blouse was magenta though, and she had a dark brown mane with bright, yellow eyes. Her fur coat though was a baby blue color. She put her hand in front of Octavia, ready to shake it.
"And you must be...." Octavia started saying, raising her right hand up to shake her hand.
"Principal Liliana, a pleasure to meet you" Principal Liliana greeted rather peacefully, a smile forming on her features.
"The pleasure is all mine, really. I was just trying to find the school representative, perhaps get information of my classes as well" Octavia answered, looking quite happy herself. Vinyl looked at them both and thought to herself that these two types of females had a lot in common. Of course, she was mentally comparing their chests together, seeing as how Earth ponies always looked good-
"Okay, I have to stop you right there, Vinyl. What exactly is supposed to be the point of you constantly bringing up the size of some pony's chest?" Octavia interrupted, a somewhat cross expression on her face as she had a hand on her hip.
"Come on, Tavi, that principal of ours was the hottest lady in the school. Best MILF I'd ever seen, too" Vinyl smirked happily as Rainbow couldn't help but fantasize a little as well, both of them lost in their own little worlds as Octavia was tempted to slap them. She could see various...reactions being pitched in the front of their pants at the memory and blushed, giving them both a firm slap across the faces.
"Is shame simply not in your dictionary?" Octavia groaned angrily, the earth mare huffing at them both as Rainbow couldn't help but rub where she was slapped, Vinyl just shrugging it off as usual.
"Come on, Tavi, you know that you'd totally have a boner at the sight of those jugs. Hell, she was even bigger than you are now" Vinyl answered. She started to shudder as she could see Octavia getting ready to smack her again. "Okay, okay, I'll try not to bring them up now. Just try and settle down a little bit" she laughed happily, Rainbow looking at them and sighing peacefully, her wings and crotch both settling down as well.
"Good. Now, you may continue entertaining Rainbow, but just be certain to ignore any desire to give...details about the other ponies and their bodies" Octavia told her simply, giving a little huff right there. Vinyl didn't seem all that bothered about it though.
Getting back on track, Principal Liliana welcomed the two musical ponies into the office and handed Octavia a few things. She gave the younger earth pony a map of the school, and a few bits of information about whatever she might need to get herself for her classes.
"Now, the last thing that you'll be needing is your locker information and your classes. Perhaps a trial run with Vinyl Scratch here would make things easier for you to decide on just what things you should sign up for" she offered to Octavia, whom of which accepted her things and began to set them in a large, accordion-styled folder.
"Hmm....I suppose that would be...interesting" Octavia mused, though she was clearly hesitating to say something. Vinyl wasn't really paying much attention though, having already put her headphones back on and listening to something loud. The unicorn's tail flicked about every now and again, and it sounded as though it was flicking along to her music. Liliana could see her looking and chuckled to herself, setting a hand on Octavia's shoulder and looking her in the eyes.
"You don't have to worry, she won't bite. Vinyl is a surprisingly good student with some big aspirations, it's just that she prefers to listen to her music is all" she told her gently, motherly vibes coming off of her in big waves. Octavia gave her a glance and wondered to herself if what she was saying was true. It was certainly true in its own right that she needed a friend or two somewhere down the line. Eventually, she sighed and nodded her head. "Excellent, now, let's get you prepared for whatever it is that Vinyl has for classes today" the principal mused, patting Octavia on the shoulder. The younger earth pony just gave a cautious smile and then stepped out with Vinyl right beside her, though she had a feeling like things were going to change in ways that she couldn't say.

How did Vinyl know about what they were talking about when she had her music on the whole time? Octavia explained that part.
After having finally managed to get through with the principal on everything that was important, Octavia sat in the geometry classroom and started doing some equations with the others. A lot of the problems were rather simple, but it was to be expected. Not to say that public high schools were easier than private academies or anything, it was just that it was early in the school year. The harder and harder events and such always end up happening later in the year.
"Psst" Octavia heard someone whisper. Looking to her side, she found Vinyl looking to have some trouble dealing with a couple of equations. Naturally, such a sight had the earth mare internally rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Vinyl looked like she was about to ask for answers to them, obviously wanting to cheat off of a smarter student's papers, but Octavia wouldn't have any of it. Instead, she simply focused on her own desk and everything that was necessary to advance further and further. Vinyl just groaned angrily and gave the earth mare a glare of frustration before going back to her own equations. Before they had even known it, the class was over, and it was time to move on to the next.
Ahhh, home economics. Without a doubt, one of the all-time best classes to have. It was simple, easy to do, and best of all, a free pass. Vinyl loved this particular class, even though she had to her hands to do a lot of the work. Being a unicorn and all, she'd gotten used to such privileges, but such a privilege was suspended for the sake of learning how to handle such things without relying on magic for everything.
Today's lesson was crepes. Fairly simplistic, but truly effective. Octavia, Vinyl, and all of the other students in the background were focused on blending together their ingredients in...well, a blender. How else would you make it work? Vinyl just held the blender together properly and mixed things together, but one of the others in the class-an earth pony mare with a cream-colored coat and dual-toned mane- seemed to be having a little bit of difficulty with it, somehow.
"Need a hand?" Vinyl offered, using her magic to hold the blender in place for the cream-colored earth pony mare. She smiled at her and nodded her head gratefully.
"Thanks, Vinyl" Bon-Bon mused with a smile, checking her phone for what appeared to be an important message for her. Of course, this story is all about Vinyl and Octavia, so Bon-Bon wouldn't be given any more screen time unless it was necessary.
Octavia turned over and noticed this very easily, smiling a little bit as she then started to pour her own crepe mix into the recently-buttered skillet, letting the mix sizzle just right for a short time. It didn't take long for Octavia to flip it over, smiling rather proudly about her work resulting in a perfectly golden brown crepe. Other students seemed impressed for a split-second or two, enjoying the sights of such a thing. They didn't dwell very long on it though, instead moving on to their own crepes, though it was hard to compare them together.
"My my, how excellent Miss Melody. A+" their instructor mused with a smile on her face. Vinyl looked over and then started working on her own crepes, which looked as though they were a little bit more sloppy than Octavia's by comparison. They were still perfectly edible and all, just shaped a little bit differently. "And an A for you, Miss Scratch. Keep up the good work" she then mused, still impressed, just a tiny bit less. Vinyl just shrugged her shoulders though, not really bothered by it at all.
What? You thought that Vinyl was going to be jealous of Octavia getting more praise than she did? You've gotta give the girl a little bit more credit than that.
The next class for today was a classic; orchestra. Naturally, Octavia was ecstatic to be in a classroom such as this. She had her cello out and ready to play before the instructor had even come into the room. She demonstrated a small song for the other students and managed to impress them right away, most of them clapping for her right as their teacher came into the room to hear it.
"Oh good, maybe now one of you can teach for the day" he joked, getting a rimshot in the back for his sense of humor. He was an earth pony with a brown coat and a basic black mane, essentially being the average Joe among ponies.
"Come on, Mr Cleft, you gotta admit she's got talent" Vinyl then called out from the back, sitting next to a large bass drum. All things considered, this would be the only real reason for her to be in an orchestra class. Octavia just chuckled at the praise, her cheeks getting pink from how good she felt from such praise. Mr Cleft had simply crossed his arms and given the earth mare a little smile in return.
"Talent, she has, but an orchestra isn't just one pony. It's multiple ponies working together, creating harmony, and that's what I plan on bringing here. Let's all turn our music books to page eighty-three and take it from the top, every pony" Mr Cleft had then answered. Everyone else in the room just shared a series of agreements and other such nothings before everyone took their instruments and brought them to their seats. Octavia received a special notice of course for having one already with her.
Once the conversations were over, it was time for the actual music to start happening. Their instructor had started a metronome and the students began to carefully play in accordance to their song books instructing them. Everyone played together in time with the metronome itself, but most of the string players were off-tune. It wasn't horribly bad, considering most of them had been playing various string instruments for a year or two already, but it wasn't really focused or proper. Not surprising with how most of these students only ever played during school hours, specifically during class. At least Octavia sounded perfect, having been taught and gotten proper lessons for how to best play her cello.
Having had such an advantage, Cleft had been looking at Octavia very carefully, intrigued by how well she had been playing. One could see the proverbial gears turning in his head as he examined her. It was a solid ten minutes of everyone playing what they'd been assigned-some playing better than others-before they eventually stopped, with Cleft specifically going up to Octavia.
"Miss Melody, you truly do have a natural talent for music. Might I interest you in the advanced class?" he immediately offered, the likes of which was met with a series of different noises of admiration from the cast in the back of the classroom. Octavia just laughed like the schoolgirl she was written to represent though.
"Charming as that is, I'm going to have to think it over a little bit. It's only the first class and all, it should honestly take more time before I do anything else" Octavia answered plainly, taking things a little bit at a time. Vinyl and a couple of other students made some jeering noises to tease her a little bit, but Octavia could care less at it. Cleft seemed to have some trouble accepting it though.
"Oooh, you're really doing a disservice to the music industry by doing that" he mused.
"She still said no, Teach. Gotta respect her wishes, right?" Vinyl then chimed in from the back. Octavia was a little bit surprised at that though, thinking that she wasn't going to say something like that.
"True. True. Well, guess we'll just move on with the next piece" Cleft then answered, taking it as maturely as possible. He truly wanted to have another student for the most advanced classes, but it was all up to Octavia in the end. Octavia herself had started thinking a little bit better of Vinyl, but not by much.
The last official class of the day, physical education. Multiple students considered it a blessing to have this be the last class of the day, especially considering how often it meant that they could shower afterwards. The gym itself was as spacious as you'd expect when it came to such a room, bleachers on the one side, two individual basketball hoops on either side of the room, and everything else it would need in-between. The students themselves were also allowed to do whatever together as well, a great upside compared to how some schools actually segregated the students by gender.
Octavia had changed into a rather form-fitting white jersey and black gym shorts, her long, dark hair pulled back into a proper ponytail as her actual pony tail had been tied up with a long elastic, keeping it bundled together without allowing it to spread out any further. Vinyl was just dressed in a general white t-shirt and some baggy shorts that went down below her knees. The other students all dressed in their own various clothes, thankfully not worried by anything like uniforms. Their coach was a sunset-colored earth mare dressed in a gaudy yellow tracksuit, wearing a matching baseball cap and readying her whistle.
"Alrighty, students, listen up! Today's gonna be your choice of what kinda sports we'll do. We can do either basketball or just run laps until some pony passes out. All for basketball?" she paused, watching as the entirety of the class raised their hands. "All for laps?" she then asked, only to see nothing in return. "There we go. Let's see...Vinyl Scratch, and.....Blue Moon, you two are captains. Pick whoever and I'll get everything else set up" she then instructed as Vinyl and a blue unicorn stallion both smiled at each other and then stood a short distance apart.
Counting both of the captains, the class consisted of twenty students. That meant that everyone had a good chance to be picked for either side. "Ladies first" Blue Moon smiled happily, Vinyl just chuckling as she thought over her decision.
"Octavia" Vinyl immediately stated, looking to the earth mare as she in turn just smiled and shrugged her shoulders, stepping up and standing behind Vinyl. Of course, what Vinyl was smiling about was the sight of such large earth breasts bouncing and swaying with just about every step as she walked towards her. Vinyl wished that she had a camera to make certain she could see that all the time, but shook her head as Blue Moon started making other picks as well. Eventually, everyone had managed to get on one team or the other, and before they knew it, the game had begun.
Back and forth, the ball flew from one set of hands to the other. Unicorn students were advised to keep an eye on their magic, just to keep things fair. Pegasus students were required to keep to the ground as much as they could for the same reason. Everything had to be made fair for earth ponies and all, considering they didn't have the means to change things up any like the other two species. With this in mind, the students were repeatedly passing, faking-out, and some could even dunk the ball rather easily.
Octavia was breathing rather heavily as she dribbled the ball, heading up to the net as she made the shot as carefully as she could. Unfortunately for her though, the ball itself didn't have the ability to magically do what she had wanted, and it simply hit the rim and bounced off, getting a whistle from there to return the ball to the group. Octavia gave a little sigh at first, but simply didn't pay it much mind as she kept up with the other students. This continued throughout the last hour and a half of the day.
After some sweat and hard work, the students all headed to the showers, some of them huffing and puffing along the way while others were simply shiny on account of how sweaty that they had gotten. Thank the sisters above that maximum power deodorant existed.
The students separated into the two sections of the locker rooms, then began to strip themselves down. Octavia blushed a little bit as she pulled up her jersey, all but deliberately showing off just how pig her perfectly round knockers were, being huge for her age as the other females all watched it. The puce sports bra that she wore managed to get their attention pretty easily, and a couple of the others gave jealous little pouts at her behind her back.
"Lucky" Vinyl smirked as she disrobed herself a lot easier than the others did, showing off her smaller breasts as Octavia simply ignored her comments, looking elsewhere as she pulled her shorts down, showing off how she had the perfectly round ass to match her breasts. She pulled the elastic out of her tail and sighed as she felt her tail finally relax. Just as she was about to look elsewhere though, she received a slap on her ass from some unknown force. She looked around as best as she could, not finding any real culprit. She huffed angrily and simply stored the remainder of her clothes in her locker, soon turning to see something that didn't make much sense to her, Vinyl wearing a full towel and heading into the showers before anyone else did.
Quirking an eyebrow would come later though, as Octavia headed into the shower all but right away after stripping down, thankful to have towels provided to the students. She entered into the shower stall and started up the hot water right away, sighing is relief as it washed over slightly aching frame. Earth ponies had incredible amounts of stamina and all, but most of the time, that was for fully grown ponies. High school ponies like Octavia still had a lot to learn about stamina management, and as she soaked herself herself, she was a little bit surprised at just how incredibly calm everything was in the shower. She had been expecting something to happen, but wasn't entirely sure just what it was she had expected. For all she knew, there likely wasn't anything that could happen at a time like this. Not necessarily a bad thing, but considering everything else that had been going on today, she would've certainly expected to hear something.
With her body sufficiently scrubbed down, she soon started drying herself off as she opened up the stall door, a little bit shocked to see Vinyl passing by on the other side. What surprised her even more was what she noticed the 'mare' walking around with, a 16-inch horsecock!
"Oh, uh....Hey" Vinyl mused as she wrapped her towel around herself, though Octavia could easily see the bulge that ended up forming between those white legs of hers. "Yeah, don't say anything, we'll talk later" Vinyl told her quickly before running off to her locker to quickly get herself dressed again. Octavia just looked at her in surprise, thinking that it didn't fit her personality well. She thought about it a little bit carefully before she went to dry off and re-dress as well, thinking that things would be better by the time the day ended.
As the day ended and the students dispersed around the various parts of town, Octavia waited around for Vinyl. She had expected the futa-unicorn to show up at any moment, but felt surprised that she had been kept waiting for almost ten minutes before the front doors to the school opened and she walked out, her headphones on and her music blasting louder than she could possibly handle. How she didn't lose her hearing was simply beyond her, but that was beside the point. Right now, the big focus was on Vinyl walking up and leading Octavia forward, likely towards her house.
Down the street and around the bends, Octavia followed closely. She was more than curious just what the unicorn would have to say to her over her genitals, but she could only imagine it had to be something interesting. Octavia thought that she was going to be extremely forward about it, but that thought would have to wait as they found Vinyl's home, she unlocked the door, and the two of them stepped in. Vinyl's parents were watching TV in the main room, and the DJ waved over to greet them before they headed upstairs, eventually finding themselves in Vinyl's room.
The two young mares had taken a seat in the all electric-colored room. Vinyl spent at least a good couple of minutes listening to her music before eventually pulling them off, then she looked at Octavia with a rather....casual expression. "Yup. I've got a dick, and I've got the balls to match. I was born with them, and I'm happy about them, just not other people knowing about it" she mused, getting straight to business.
"Ah....I see...." Octavia blushed deeply, trying to avoid making direct eye contact. The two of them spent at least a good few minutes in stark silence before one of them tried to speak up about the situation.
