The Lunatic Guardian

It is a few days ago after I started to train the Guards and they even got very good, especially Iron Hoof, Flame Wand, and Flash Sentry. I wake up at exactly 20:00 but today was somehow different. As always I get out of my bed and first go to the mirror to check if everything is ok, and see a letter on my desk.

The letter reads: "Good evening Midnight Shield, I hope you have settled in well. And by the way, I have brought you something, first is here a little bag with some bits, something you earned being a guard and a trainer here." I stop reading and see this small bag withsomebits in it after a quick guess its probably about five hundred bits and I start to read again. "Second here is a little present from my sister, I let two guards put it in your room next to your armor, I hope it's good like this." I stop reading again, and look towards my armor, and see next to it a black armor similar to to the purple royal guard armor but with some differences, first the bluedragon eyejewel is now a dark reddragon eyejewel. The winged armor looks like dragon wings which are burning at the end of the wings. Third, the armor is twice as thick as the royal guard. Fourth is the boots looks like it's made of dragon scales. The fifth difference is that this armor has no helmet.

I look at the armor, with big eyes, I like it. I thought and start to read again. "I hope you like it here and we will talk later too. With best regards, Princess Celestia." I put the letter inside the desk with the mirror.

"Nice armor that you have now."Cos says suddenly.

"Yeah I love it."I respond to Cos and walk towards the armor and put the new one on. First I put it on the body armor, then the boots and last the wing armor. It fits perfectly, and its heavy. I try to move around and now I'm a bit slower now. Then I try to fly, it's hard to fly, but everything will become easier after I wear it some time. Then I put the cape from the other armor on my new armor and my katanas at both of my sides and walk out of the room.

As always I get out of my room and I am greeted by the four guards guarding the rooms of Luna and my room. "Good evening to you four." I greet the guards.

"Good evening Ms. Shield." All four guards respond at the same time in unison.

"I take that Luna is still in her room, so I am going to the dining room." I say to the guards.

"Yeah she is still sleeping, and we two will accompany you." One of the guards who is standing at my door says, the other at my door nods and all three of us start to walk down the hallway to the dining room which was for royalty but. . . a friend of Luna. . . so yeah. . .

At the dining room, my escort goes left and right to the door and stands there to guard the room while I enter the dining room. Inside the dining room, I see Twilight and Celestia, as always, sitting there, chatting and eating pancakes. I walk toward the table and. "Good evening Celestia and Twilight. I hope you had a good day again."

"Good evening Midnight and Cosmic. Yeah, we had a good day, I hope you had a good sleep." Celestia says and looks towards me "Oh and I see that you are wearing our new armor, how is it.?"

"I had a good sleep and I love the armor, it's heavy and hard to fly for now, just need some time to get used to it and it fits perfectly," I tell Celestia and. . .

"Good evening Celestia and Twilight," Cos says in my voice, I don't like it if he does it this suddenly but he was called by Celestia. "I had a pretty boring day." and Cos stops talking.

Celestia puts a plate with some pancakes on the table next to Twilight, "Come and sit down Midnight and eat some pancakes. And it should be time for-" Celestia puts another plate with pancakes on the table next to her, the door opens and Luna enters the room, "For my sister to get here, Good evening Sister. Here have some pancakes."

"Good evening Sister, Twilight, Midnight and Cosmic. Thanks for the pancakes." Luna says, still a bit sleepy and sits down next to Celestia and we all start to eat.

After the meal, Celestia starts to tell us "So Twilight, it seems that it is time for you to return home, I think your friends start to miss you." And looks towards Twilight.

"Yeah, it seems like it is time, Thank you all for what you did," Twilight says.

"Oh, you are going back?" I ask her. "Then I have a question, could I go with you to Ponyville, I want to visit a friend in Somnambula, if I am allowed to that is?" I continue to tell them my grammar getting better. I was trying to copy the way they spoke.

"But of course you can go, I even got the message today that the rail network is built so that you can sit in the train from here over Ponyville to Somnambula, and that only in half a night, so take your time," Celestia says with a big smile on her face.

"Oh Thank you, Celestia," I say very happy wanting to jump around and flying in circles, but~ the armor is still too heavy for that.

"Now go and get your things and get ready, you both," Luna says with a smile and both Twilight and me walk out of the dining room.

Inside my room, I take off my cape, pack the bag with bits inside my bag, put it on me and the cape back on it and I leave the room and saw Twilight standing in front of my room waiting for me. "Oh, hey Twilight did you waited long?"

"No, I just got here myself, so do you want to go now?" Twilight says, I nod and we start to walk to the train station.

On the way to the train station we talked about everything that happened in the last few days and as we are close to the train station, Twilight makes a suggestion: "Hey Night, what do you think about the idea that I accompany you to your friend Rose?"

"I would love to and I think she would like to meet you too," I say with a big toothy smile on my face. "I got to buy the tickets for the train." And I storm to the Information booth.

At the train station information there was a stallion in Uniform: "Good evening sir, I want to buy two tickets to Somnambula."

"Good evening Miss, two tickets to Sumnambula, that would be 25 Bits." says the stallion with a nervous smile.

"Ok, here the 25 Bits," I say with a friendly smile and cover my red-eye again so that other ponys don't get scared by the eye."Sry Cos, I just don't want to make it complicated."I only get a snoring back from him.

"Here are your tickets Miss." I take the tickets

and say to him "Have a good night." and I walk towards Twilight who got here by now. "Here is your ticket Twilight, let's get going," I say and we both walk towards the rails. On the train, we go into a wagon where nopony else is. While the train drive Twilight takes a little nap and I relax enjoying the moonlight until the conductor gets in our wagon and asks us for the tickets, and everything went smoothly. We got out of the train in Somnambula and I lead Twilight to the house of Rose. "This is the house Twilight."

I knock at the door and. . . no, respond I wait a few seconds and knock a bit harder and I hear a loud *Bong* and hear a pony walking towards the door, opening the door while saying: "Ok who is knocking at my door at this late hour." until she sees me. "Oh, Night hi! What a surprise, what brings you here and how have you been!?" Rose says with a smile on her face "Oh how rude of me, come in I make you some tea, and who did you bring with you?" Rose asks and leads us into the living room.

"Oh, I was with Twilight and her friends than with Celestia, Luna and the Royal Guards. and the one I am accompanied by is Twilight Sparkle." I say and point with one wing to Twilight who is sitting next to me.

"Hi Rose, I am Twilight Sparkle, I heard you helped our friend here a bit and I wanted to meet you," Twilight says.

"Hi Twilight, I am Rose. . ." I swear that I could see the machines in her brain working and processing. "Wait a sec. Twilight Sparkle as inthePrincess Twilight Sparkle, the personal student of Princess Celestia and the princess of friendship?!" Rose asks totally surprised.

"Yeah, that's me," Twilight says with a bit embarrassment on her face.

"Oh, it's my honor to meet you my princess Twilight." Rose bows towards Twilight.

"Oh please don't bow here, every friend of Midnight Shield is my friend too," Twilight says and Rose stops to bow.

After everyone calmed down, I told rose everything that happened till now and even introduced Rose to Cos who panicked a bit as Cos suddenly said something, again. We talked all night long until I needed to go to sleep, and this time we all three got to bed and slept the whole day.
