This Chapter is about the day after Twilight and Night first met. where Night is sleeping and Twilight start to search for Answers, Night will have in this Chapter not an activ role and the chapter is From the perspective of Twilight, so it will be not seen what other characters do while Twilight isn't there

Chapter 2.5: The Day After Night Falls Asleep (Edited)

After Twilight left the Bedroom with Spike and Starlight in tow, leaving Night to sleep in peace. "So where do we start with this search?" Spike asked Twilight curiously.

"I would have to ask my friends first. If they could do something about Night," Twilight explained heading towards the entrance hall. "But who should I get first to help me with this? Besides you two.” Twilight tapped a hoof to her chin in thought. “Ah, ha! I have an idea!” Twilight exclaimed enthusiastically. “Spike go and get Rarity, and Starlight go and get Applejack and Pinkie pie, While I get Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash."

"Ok, I’m on it," Starlight and Spike spoke at the same time, rushing out of the castle in a hurry.

After a few minutes, Twilight arrived at Fluttershy’s house knocking on the door. A few seconds later a bunny named “Angel” opened the door looking up at Twilight. "Hi Angel, is Fluttershy home?" Angel looks back, closing the door on Twilight. Confused Twilight considered knocking again.

As Twilight went to knock again, Fluttershy opened the door and said simply: "Oh, hi Twilight, how are you doing? do you need something?" She asked softly with her signature kind smile.

"Hi Fluttershy, I’m fine, and yes I need something. Could you come by over to the castle, while I get Rainbow Dash? And before you ask. I’ll tell you once everypony is at the castle." Twilight said flying up into the sky in her search for Rainbow. Taking a wild guess on where she might have been at.

A couple of minutes later, Twilight arrives at the Training place where Rainbow Dash almost always trains at. Where she tries a new trick and. . . crashes into a haystack "OUCH!" Rainbow cried out landing in a haystack.

"Rainbow are you ok? do you need help?!" Twilight said aloud rushing to Rainbow.

"Ouch, no I’m fine, did you need something?" Rainbow says while getting out of the haystack she crashed in. Shaking hay out of her mane and tailandfur.

"Yeah, I could use your help, at the castle. So can you come to the castle? I think the others should be there by now," Twilight tells Rainbow while helping her get some hay out of her mane.

"Sure if you called the others it must be abigproblem, so what is it?" Rainbow asked interested, getting ready to fly.

"I’ll tell you what I know when we are together with the others," Twilight explained to Rainbow as both started to fly to the castle.

Finally arriving at the castle, Twilight and Rainbow Dash both notice how their friends are all standing in front of the castle talking to each other. Twilight and Rainbow land next to their friends. Twilight starts up talking to them: "Thank you all for coming and on such short notice. I called you all here because I really need your help. There is this black mare with a blue and black mane and tail. She came in this morning asking me for help in a few matters, one matter is a curse and the second matter is that she doesn't know who she is. Or where she is from, and what her job is. She also had asked me for help and now I’m asking you all to help me with this request." Twilight said her eyes sweeping over her group of friends, with a serious expression.

"Sure we’ll help yall as much as we can Twilight, but where’ do we start?" Applejack asked while they entered the castle.

"First I ’ll show you the mare, for now, we can call her “Night” till we find out her real name. So if you see her and think you heard or read anything similar or about some pony looking like her. If you can remember something in your memories that would be most helpful. I would like to read some books trying to find something about the curse she has." While opening the door to Night’s temporary bedroom where she is sleeping peacefully. "So girls, this is Night. Before you ask she can't wake up, because of a curse. She can't be awake in the daytime only at night time, between 20:00 PM and 06:00 AM. And these are her things, 2 Katanas, black armor, this Backpack and this cape." Twilight pointed out to everypony. Everypony starts inspecting Night’s things as Twilight carefully removes the blanket letting all the others see the alicorn mare with the blue and black mane including her tail. They all even see her cutie mark. That was a blue-winged shield with a moon in the center of the shield and a Sword behind the shield.

"She looks dangerous and gorgeous at the same time, sorry but I would remember such a pony immediately," Rarity stated admiring Night’s mane and tail realizing something: "Twilight darling, did you notice the kind of mane she has? it looks like the mane of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have but only in black and blue." Rarity stated in a matter of fact tone.

"Now that you say that, yeah it looks like Celestia’s. I can’t believe I didn’t notice it before!" Twilight said with an excited thoughtful expression on her face. "Maybe she has ties to Celestia and Luna?"

"I don't think she has ties only to Celestia and Luna," Rainbow Dash interrupts "Look at the sword sheath, the dark blue one has the mark of Princess Luna and your mark Twilight. And on the Black one, there is a mark of Celestia and Cadance.” Rainbow tried to pick up the Katana, "What in Celestia's name? Why is this thing so heavy? I can barely lift it!” Rainbow Dash said struggling to lift the katana.

"Have you gotten weak Rainbow?" Applejack drawled while going over to the Katanas "let me pick that thang up." but Applejack failed too. "What are these Katanas? They each weigh like a huge boulder, how can she even walk with these thangs at her sides? Let alone fight with these. She must be really strong if she can carry these." Applejack said leaving the katanas alone.

"I’m going to the library to try and find something out," Twilight stated leaving the bedroom heading to her library.

Time passed now being 13:30. Spike came out of the Library and tells Twilight: "Hey Twilight, you have a few visitors and you’ll never guess who it is."

"Who is it? Sunset Shimmer or any of the Girls from the other world?" Twilight asked in curiosity.

"No its Cadance, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart, They are at the Entra-" Spike was interrupted by Twilight, who stormed out of the library rushing to the entrance hall.

"Cadance, Shining Armor, what are you all doing here? How are you all?" Twilight asked while having some fun with her niece Flurry Heart.

"Oh nothing special, we’re only on our way to Canterlot to meet with Celestia and Luna and we thought we’d visit to ask you; if you wanted to come along with us." That made Twilight look up.

"I would love to!” Twilight blurted out excitedly before frowning. “But. . . I have to help a certain mare with her problem. . . but wait, could you help me with the problem?" Twilight asked almost pleadingly to Cadance and Shining Armor.

"Then tell us what the problem is," Cadence said with a roll of her eyes placing a gentle hoof on Twilight’s shoulder.

"Well. . . it would be easier if I showed you than to describe, follow me." Twilight turned around going to the guest bedroom where Night was sleeping and said on the way: "The problem is that the mare is sleeping right now. We don't know what her real name is or where she is from, or what her cutie mark even means and she is cursed so that she must sleep all the day from 06:00 to 20:00. We call her “Night” for now. She is sleeping in here in this room." Twilight opened the door to the bedroom where Night was sleeping in.

"This is Night the cursed mare, and don't eventryto pick up the Katanas there. They are far too heavy to pick up. Even Applejack and Rainbow Dash, two of the strongest I know, well till now, because they couldn’t pick up the swords. However what concerns me, is that on each sword, there are both symbols of the two princesses," Twilight pointed at the swords with her hoof, while slowly using her magic to carefully pull the blanket down to reveal Night the black alicorn mare.

"Oh my, a pony who has even darker fur than Luna, and that cutie mark. . .” Cadence said in amazement.

Shining Armor then spoke up beside his wife. “Well I don't know who she is, but I would have to say because of her cutie mark. That she must be someone who guards something or someone, but that is just an educated guess," Shining Armor stated turning to the katanas, even trying to lift one of the katanas but only to fail without lifting it up at least to a millimeter. "So where do you need help Twily? With all this."

"I need your help by finding out as much as possible about this mare, and because you are going to the castle I thought you could take a letter with you. Giving it to Celestia and Luna, in which explains the problem we have here. If you could do that While I stay here and focus more on searching through books to find something out about her." Twilight said turning to the table getting a sheet of paper and a quill and starts to write a letter for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

"Of course, we’ll take this letter with us, and I’ll talk to my aunts about everything You told me and Shiny," Cadence said with a small nod of her head, her daughter Flurry Heart giggling tiredly on her mother’s back. Taking the letter that Twilight wrote for the Princesses in her magic.

"Twilight I have a suggestion for you; if she wakes up to ask her; if she would like to have guard duty in your castle. At night, maybe she might recall something of her past or she finds out what her job really is," Shining suggested while putting the blanket back on over Night, leaving the room with the others to give Night some privacy.

Back in the entrance hall "Well, we must be going now, we need to catch the next train to Canterlot and it's already 14:30, so see you another day Twilight." Cadence said softly putting Flurry Heart back to sleep carrying her on her back. Getting ready walk to the Train Station. "See you later Twilight and good luck with this problem."

Twilight at smiled at Cadence nodding her head "Yeah see you later Cadance, Shining, and Flurry Heart. Greet Celestia and Luna from me, and have a safe trip. I need to get back to my books, if I want to find out more about Night," Twilight waved goodbye until they were out of view. She went back inside her castle.

Back in the Library Twilight saw all her friends with their noses in books. "Did anyone find something?" Twilight asks only to get a “No” from everypony and Dragon in the Library. "Well I think we should have something to eat, Pinkie would you like to make something?" Twilight asked the hyperactive pony.

"Already ahead of you here have some cupcakes!" Pinkie exclaimed loudly pulling a bag of cupcakes from behind her back, putting them on the table at the center of the Library. Everypony takes some cupcakes and starts to eat.

"Here Spike I have some gems for you" Rarity says giving Spike some gems to eat.

"So did Cadance and Shining Armor say something about Night?" Rainbow asked blowing her mane out of her face.

"Not much only a suggestion from my brother, which is that she could be a mare who protects something or someone so he suggested. Asking me. . . to ask her if she would want to protect the castle at night, and see what she thought of it and if she could recall something." Twilight explained to her friends.

"Well that’s a start and it's better than having nothing for her." Applejack stated pressing her Stetson hat down on her head with her eyes closed.

"Well it's now 16:00 I think we should start to get back to reading these books. To find out something about Night. Oh and Pinkie, could you prepare something to eat for Night?" Twilight asked her pink pony friend.

"Yeah, of course, I will, she’ll have enough food for the whole night!" Pinkie gushed enthusiastically rushing off to the kitchen.

“It's 19:45 okay girls, let's get ready. She should be awake in 15 minutes." everypony start closing there books and Rainbow wakes up and every pony starts cleaning the Library up.
