CHAPTER 2: PONYVILLE - KNOWING THE MARES

A big sunny day in Sweet Apple Acres as Spike brings 2 buckets of apples and put it inside the wagon. Big Mac, wearing red shirt and jeans, pulls the wagon away. Spike wipes his forehead.

"Well done, Spike."

Spike looks at Applejack that walks towards him.

"Thanks to you, we finished our chores faster," said Applejack.

Spike smiles.

"Just glad to help you. After all I am your worker," said Spike.

"Do you have anywhere to go after this?" asked Applejack.

"Yeah. The library. Twilight wants me to clean her library," said Spike.

"Well, you better head there now. You're free to go," said Applejack.

"Thanks," said Spike as he walks away.

In Golden Oak Library, Twilight Sparkle in her messy pajama, sighs, looking at another mess her creation as Spike walks in. He sighs.

"Your habit of messing the library really disturbing," said Spike.

"I still need to do my research about your criteria of mares," said Twilight as she yawns.

The dragon looks at the sleepy unicorn, realizing her pajama is few button off, showing the valley of her C cup breast. The way she breathes, confirms him that she didn't wear her bra. He sighs.

"You should get your bath first," said Spike.

"I'll do it later," said Twilight.

"Do it now while I'll start cleaning your mess," said Spike as he starts cleaning up.

The purple unicorn sighs as she walks up to the stairs.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash lies down on her bed in her cyan blue pajama. 'I will find out what his planning and expose him for the Equestria to see' thinks Rainbow.

Back to Golden Oak Library, Twilight Sparkle walks down, wearing white shirt and jeans. Spike sweeps the floor as he looks towards her.

"Feeling refresh?" asked Spike.

"Yes, Your Highness," said Twilight sarcastically as she sits in front of him, holding a quill. The dragon chuckles.

"Now what are we going to do?" asked Spike.

"Well, I manage to gather information about suitable mares according to your criteria," said Twilight.

"You did it overnight? There is so you," teased Spike.

"As your assistant, Your Highness, I must be prepare to help you as best as you can," said Twilight.

Spike chuckles.

"Okay then, hit me," said Spike.

"I don't think I can hit you, Your Highness," said Twilight.

Spike sighs.

"Just enlighten me," said Spike.

The purple unicorn rises the quill.

"For mare that can cook; Pinkie Pie and Applejack. For the mare that can take care of her beauty; Rarity, Fluttershy and Lyra Heartstring. For mare that love kids; Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. For the mare that knowledgeable, me. For mare that not too girlish; Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Cloudchaser. For the mare that childish, Pinkie Pie and Flitter," explained Twilight.

Spike nods few times.

"Thanks for the info. It just not sure how I am going to use that info," said Spike.

"That's where I came in, Your Highness. I can help you by introducing you to them," said Twilight.

"I already met Applejack since I am working with her. I met a rainbow pegasus that thinks I am some sort of spy," said Spike.

"Well, that pegasus is Rainbow Dash. She maybe harsh and quick in making assumption but she meant well," said Twilight.

Spike sighs.

Meanwhile, at the CMC clubhouse, Applebloom stands at the wall, looking at the list. Sweetie Belle puts the drinks on the table.

"How are we going to bring Spike here?" asked Sweetie Belle.

"Not sure. I mean he is busy with working in the library," said Applebloom.

"How about we meet him at the library where he is working?" asked Scootaloo.

The leader of the group sighs as she looks at the tomboy pegasus.

"You do remember Twilight forbid us from entering the library without her supervision?" asked Applebloom.

"Well, Spike is an adult so we can spent our time with him," said Scoolatoo.

"That's a good idea," said Sweetie Belle.

Back to the duo, the dragon's assistance still looking at the quill.

"So, how is your coltfriend?"

The unicorn looks at the dragon.

"What coltfriend? I don't have a coltfriend," said Twilight.

"I don't know. You were kinda crazy mare on that guard. What's his name? Oh right, Flash Sentri," teased Spike, causing a blush on his assistance's face.

"Didn't get chance to confess. Busy with other things," said Twilight.

"Such studying, reading books, being anti social, panicing of being tardiness...." trailed Spike.

"I get it. You jerk," said Twilight as the dragon laugh.

The CMC arrives at the library. Applebloom knocks the door.

"You sure that would work?" asked Sweetie Belle, causing a groan from the other 2.

"Sweetie Belle, we already discuss this," said Scoolatoo.

"I know. It just...." trailed Sweetie Belle.

The door.opens and Twilight Sparkle looks out.

"I thought I ban you from coming here?" asked Twilight.

"You didn't ban us. You just don't let us go in there unsupervised," said Applebloom.

"That's why we're here so Spike can supervise us," said Scoolatoo.

"If that's okay with him," said Sweetie Belle, playing with her fingers.

The unicorn looks at the dragon that shrugs.

"Okay then but Spike won't be the only one supervising you," said Twilight as the CMC groans.

Spike chuckles.

"I will supervise you girl but not today since Twilight wants to introduce me to ponies in Ponyville," said Spike.

"But we can do that too. After all, we are...." trailed Applebloom.

"Cutie Mark Crusaders!" yelled Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scoolatoo, making their pose.

Twilight Sparkle rolls her eyes.

"Not right now. This is crucial for him to know all the mares and colts to know him a bit longer," said Twilight.

Spike laughs.

"I'm sorry, Cutie Mark Crusaders. Maybe next time," said Spike.

The trio frown as they lower their head, their ears flops to the back as they walk out. Spike and Twilight Sparkle look at each other and walk out.

Both of them walk through Ponyville. Twilight Sparkle stops in front of Sugarcube Corner.

"This is Sugarcube Corner, where all the sweets and cakes are made here," said Twilight.

"Interesting. Mom is a sweet tooth princess," said Spike.

"Yeah, I remember she ate the cake," said Twilight.

Both of them giggle.

"Hey guys!"

The unicorn and dragon look at the new coming Pinkie Pie.

"Hey Pinkie," called Twilight.

"What cha doing?" asked Pinkie.

"We just strolling the town as I give him the tour," said Twilight.

"Wow. Can I join?" asked Pinkie.

The purple unicorn sighs, hesitated to answer. Spike smiles.

"Sure, come on," said Spike.

The pink Earth pony smiles brightly as she following them, jumping around. They walk past Carousal Boutique.

"This is Carousal Boutique where the fashionista and seamstress work and create the new clothes," said Twilight.

"This is also a house for Rarity Belle and Sweetie Belle," added Pinkie.

"Who is Rarity?" asked Spike.

The door opens as a white unicorn with purple mane and tail, wearing blue shirt with purple violet skirt and boots walks out. The pink Earth pony smiles brightly.

"Hello Rarity," said Pinkie.

"Hello Pinkie, Twilight. You must be Spike," said Rarity.

Spike jaw drops, seeing the beauty of Rarity. Twilight Sparkle chuckles.

"Put your jaw up, Casanova," teased Twilight.

Rarity gives them a smile.

"Welcome to my shop. In here I design all the clothes for my client," said Rarity.

The violet unicorn sighs, looking at the dragon that still has pink heart on his eyes. She pulls his hand.

"Come on, we have more places to go," said Twilight.

Pinkie Pie giggles as she follow the duo. As they walk past the market, Spike looks around, unknowing that Fluttershy who was there with her groceries, run away in fear.

"Wow, this market looks lively," said Spike.

"Hey Spike."

The dragon looks at the pegasus twins; Flitter and Cloudchaser, both of them wearing blue with yellow lightning jumper. He smiles.

"Hello Flitter, Cloudchaser," said Spike.

Flitter jumps and hugs the dragon's left hand, pushing her C cup breast.

"Are you free after this? We can hang out at the field," said Flitter.

Spike blushes in deep red. Twilight Sparkle sighs.

"Flitter, let his arm go," said Twilight.

"Don't wanna!" said Flitter, hugging his hand tighter.

Cloudchaser sighs as she pulls her twin back to her.

"Come on Flitter, Spitfire is going to kill us if we're late again," said Cloudchaser.

Flitter pouts as both of them walk away. Twilight Sparkle sighs. Pinkie Pie giggles.

"Looks like the dragon is another attraction on this town," said Pinkie.

Applejack walks towards them.

"Howdy y'all. Howdy loverboy," said Applejack.

"Hey Applejack, done with your selling?" asked Pinkie.

"Not yet. Just stretching my legs," said Applejack.

Spike accidentally looks at the cowmare's leg. Applejack smirks.

"Like what you see, loverboy?" teased Applejack with a smirk.

Spike blushes. Twilight Sparkle sighs.

"You always attract unwanted attention from mares," said Twilight as she slaps her forehead.

Spike rubs his head, chuckling.

"Well, some mares do like hot stallion or in this case, dragons," said Pinkie, giggling madly.

The violet unicorn pulls the dragon's hand.

"Come on, Spike. There are more places for you to visit and mares to see," said Twilight.

Applejack and Pinkie Pie look at the going unicorn and dragon.

"That dragon is sure hot and hunky, Applejack?" asked Pinkie.

"Any mare will be lucky to have him as a mate," said Applejack.

Both of them look at each other, thinking 'I will be his mate'

Meanwhile, at Fluttershy Cottage, the pegasus mare shivering in fear. 'What should I do? I don't want to face him but I need food to feed my animals. What should I do?' thinks Fluttershy
