It was a day like any other for Rim, sleeping, eating, combat ground training, flying training, dragon breath training and going home. This has been going on for six months now and it shows no sign of stopping any time soon. But one day Rim had just finished his training for the day and he started to head home in the Everfree forest but instead of walking home he decided to fly home.

About half way through his flying something strange started to happen to the night sky. Weird purple clouds started to form in the sky. Rim felt magic fueling the strange purple clouds but then a circle started to form inside of the purple cloud and it started to pull Rim inside of the circle.

After going through the circle for about three seconds, there was a bright flash of light and then he saw the night sky again. But something didn't feel right , like it was different somehow. But before he could finish that train of thought, something hit him . Something like rope and metal and it tied itself around him and then it propelled him forward. He collided with something very large and scaly. This thing veered to the left and Rim turned slightly to the right. Before he landed, he knocked into three or four trees and crash landed on the ground. As he started to loose consciousness he tried very hard not to black out because he could feel something or someone looming over him. But it was all in vain. He was out cold.

When he woke up, it was morning. in a strange forest. He was ensnared in rope and metal,. He was in a lot of pain and very confused and disoriented

At the same time Rim was waking up, the creature who shot Rim down was tracking him. The tracker's name was Hiccup Horrendous Haddock iii and when he saw Rim, he realized he was the one who shot the guy down. Hiccup's confused thoughts were whirling about him. Who was this creature and what type of creature was it. He had never seen such an animal before in his life. How was it able to fly? What was under it's cloak? He needed to find out.

Rim, however, was recovering from the pain and trying to figure out where he was. He started looking around when his eyes landed upon a strange hairless ape that he had never seen before. The ape, of course, was Hiccup. He tried to move away from the ape but he fell right back down. Rim looked at his right foreleg because it had cracks in it from the fall. The ape took a step closer with a dagger in it's hand. Hiccup (the ape) just looked at Rim and he saw fear in Rim's eyes and for a moment he felt bad for Rim. Hiccup said "I did this"? He started turning around to walk away but stopped and looked back at the thing that he shot down.

Rim's eyes snapped open and he felt the rope around his body being tugged loose by the ape. As the ropes around him started to become slack, Rim jumped up and tackled Hiccup to the ground. Standing over the ape and looking it in the eyes, Rim started to rear up and roared in hiccup's face. After that, Rim decided to run away. About six seconds after fleeing, Rim, the Changeling, fell down in to a cove with stone walls all around him and a small water hole. Pulling himself up he drank some water and found a spot under a tree and next to a big rock where he fell asleep. Before he closed his eyes, he spotted a big black lump on the ground next to him.

Author's Note

This story will have a female toothless and male stormfly. hiccup finds Rim instead of toothless I thought it would be interesting to see what would happened if he find out that he got the wrong one what would be the different event that will take place or will nothing change at all
