Location Canterlot.

Time 5:45 P.M

I've been watching Misty play with animals for awhile now. At first it was bunnies than, the others started to warm up to her. I nearly panicked when a bear out of all things came out to play.I was so surprised to see the bear join in on what I assume is to be tag. I laugh as Misty pounces on a wolf to tag him. Apparently animals have some sapience in this world. Most of the animals could out run her but they purposely stop so she can get them. Speaking of animals I've petted this fox for hours now. Every time I tried to stop petting him he would pounce back onto my lap.

"Misty! Ranger!" I look over to see Swift Duster rushing over to us. The animals run when she reaches us. "Finally found you to. Its all most time for dinner." She is completely out of breath. She must of ran looking for us.

I look down at the time on my pip boy to see it's almost six. "Sorry Swift. Misty was having a such good time I didn't want to go back to the room." I put the fox to my side on the bench and stand up. He gives Swift an ugly look before he scampers away. "Misty its time for dinner come on." I say to her as she comes over to us.

"Okay." Misty says. "I am hungry." She blushes as her tummy rumbles. Swift starts to lead us away.

"I've never seen the animals playing with anypony before. How did you manage to do it Misty?" Swift asks Misty as she leads us inside.

"By being patient and calm just like Wolf told me to." Misty beams up at Swift. Swift looks to me with a questionable gaze.

I look back at her. "I've had to deal with a lot of animals back in the wasteland. The mutated ones will almost certainly attack you, while ones that aren't will usually leave you alone if your not a threat to them." I say as we turn a corner.

Swift gets a surprised look on her face. "I take it you grew up in a bad place?" She asks as we continue down a hallway.

"Pretty much. everyday is a fight for survival back in the Mojave." I say as I look down to see Misty is struggling to keep pace with us. Must be tired, she did play non stop. "Your usually doing something to help you survive." I continue on as I pick Up Misty.

She looks up at me and says "Thank you." We turn another corner. Jeez this place is huge.

"How was your day Swift?" I ask her. Swift looks surprised as she stops suddenly. "Swift?" I ask her again.

Swift shakes her head and continues on. "Sorry ponies don't usually asks us maids anything. And to answer your question just mostly cleaning." We come to a door. "Well here we are. I'll be back later to walk you back to your rooms. I'm kinda in a hurry so see you two soon." Swift says as she waves us good bye. I open the door.

The room was huge but the dinner table was a medium size but what shocked me more that their where more ponies there. The room goes silent as we walk in. I see the princesses but the others are new. Another alicorn that's all pink. Next to her is two white unicorns one with a blonde mane one with a nice blue one. The alicorn looks all happy while the blonde hair pony looks on in disgust. The other unicorn looks at use curiously. I set Misty down as Celestia gets up to greet us.

"Ranger Wolf and Misty. Pleasure to see you two again." Celestia says as she leans down to nuzzle Misty. Misty returns the nuzzle while I salute.

"Ma'am" I say as I salute. Every one in the room smiles at except for the blonde maned pony.

Celestia rolls her eyes. "At ease Wolf." She say as she leads me and Misty to the table. We set down to the right of Luna across form the pink alicorn and white unicorn. "Well time for new introductions." Celestia says as she points to the pink alicorn. " The alicorn in front of you is my niece Cadence and her fiance Shinning Armor."

"Pleasure to meet you both. I'm Ranger Wolf off." I get cut off as Luna nudges me.

"They already know about you and Misty so please don't go thru the whole name country thing" Luna says as she gives me a look.

"Yes like my aunt said me and Shinning know all about you and thank you for what you did." Cadence said. I just nod at her. " And this cute filly is Misty Dew." She said smiling at Misty.

Misty tries to hide under table. "So Wolf your an elite soldier right?" Shinning asks me.

"Yes sir. I've been trained since I was little, but if you want to talk about my history it's not something to be discussed in front of children." I say tilting my head toward Misty. Shinning just gives me an understanding look.

Celestia takes that time to introduce the last pony there. "And my nephew prince Blueblood." She says pointing to the blonde pony.

"Charmed." Blueblood said while looking at a menu. Well he probably doesn't like me.

"So Wolf do you have anypony in your life?" Cadence asks giving me a big beaming smile. Luna turns an ear into my direction.

"I was married. Lost her in the battle of Hoover Dam. No children either. We still had several years left of duty." I sigh out.

Cadence frowns. "I'm sorry. Didn't mean to bring up sadness." She says.

Misty comes out of hiding and hugs me. "It's okay. Better to love than lost than to never love at all. Life is awful and Ellie made it better." I say as I hold up a menu so me and Misty can look at it.

"Now that all that is out of the way. How rich are you?" Blueblood asks. The princesses give him a glare. Yep I don't like him. He starts talking but I don't pay attention. I'm to sad and haunted by a past that's not my own but is at the same time. Today was going so well to.

I was writing this on Friday and wanted to have it out than but my brother has an infection and hes being difficult. So here is a chapter if nothing else happens there will be another one soon.
