Location Canterlot

Time: 6:17 P.M

"I also own huge plots of lands." Blueblood said. He has been talking for a long time now. Everyone is just ignoring him. Servers came and took our orders about five minutes ago. Misty somehow talked me into getting pancakes with her. She even gave me puppy eyes, which was uncalled for since I wasn't about to say no to her. Candace awed at the site while everyone else just snickered, well except for Shinning who gave me a look that said "I know your pain". "How much property do you own Ranger Wolf?" I shake my head and look at Blueblood.

"Nothing anymore. Used to own my parent's farm after they died, but I was young and joined the Rangers." I take off my helmet and put it down by my chair. "Gave it to a young family for free though. They'll use it more than me. " I receive a lot of smiles except from Blueblood who gave a look of disgust.

"You openly gave away your home?" Celestia asks me.

"Yeah I was in the Rangers so I didn't need it. Plus with how brutal the Ranger life is we usually die eventually before we retire." I got some horrified looks after I said that. Misty was just sad though. "Life in the wasteland is horrible." I plainly say.

Misty looks up at me with sad eyes. "So your gonna die soon?" She sadly says.

I look back at her with a sad smile. "Maybe not soon but eventually something will get me." I give her a playful salute. "Don't worry though." I throw in a cocky smile. "I am a Veteran Ranger and we are insanely tough to kill. We fight till we take our last breaths." I give Misty a wink in the end. She starts laughing as does some of the other ponies.

*Chuckle* "Bragging does not fit you Wolf." Misty says as she continues to laugh. Well at least the mood is happy again.

"Yeah, Not doing that again." I say as I start to pet Misty who has started to hiccup. Well I lost some self esteem there.

"So how elite would you say the rangers are?" Shinning asks me.

I look up for a second as I think about what I was going to say. I also still keep petting Misty who has snuggled up into my lap. Can't be to comfortable with all this riot gear on, but she seems happy. "Well there's different type of rangers or is even though we all got put into the same command group. I'm a Veteran Ranger. We were our own faction in the Mojave and Nevada area. The NCR had there own rangers who where mostly scouts that explored new areas and got special forces training. Our rangers met each other out in the field where our factions learned about each other. It's a lot just bear with me." I say as he nods his head.

"I think I'm starting to get it. The NCR Military has branches to it and they had a ranger branch also." Shinning said.

I nod my head at him. "Yeah both Rangers are inspired by the old United states. Which was a country before it was turned into the wasteland. They had two types of rangers. Back before they settled most of the land rangers where lawmen and once civilization started booming Rangers became a branch of the military and became the soldiers who lead the way. So when our two forces met, The NCR was happy because more land and people. The Desert Rangers were happy because we were losing ground to about everything." I said.

"So your group joined the NCR then?" Luna asks.

"Yeah. If we wanted to keep our people safe we had to. Some left and others still complain, but despite the trouble the NCR is having it's the best hope compared to the others. Plus we're the only ones who can stop Cesaer's Legion." I reply to her.

A server puts our food in front of us. The pancakes are piled high with a lot of maple syrup in them. Misty digs right in with bits of pancake flying every where. The best way to describe it was a werewolf tearing into it's first kill, Luna looks up at me after shoving something in her mouth.

"This Legion doesn't seem very good." She says as food goes flying out of her mouth when she speaks. Celestia gives her a mean look.

"Luna don't talk with your mouth full. It's rude." Celestia says as she throws a napkin onto Luna's muzzle.

I take some bites of the pancakes and reply. "They're monsters. They enslave women and take kids to raise them as Legionnaires, if your labeled an enemy of it they put you on a cross." I say not hiding the hatred in my voice.

"They sound a lot like the Diamond dog Legion that has sprung up. The ones you dealt with." Candace says.

"Which is why one of the reasons your here Wolf." Celestia says as she gently wipes her face off with a napkin. "They started setting up camp in the Everfree forest next to Ponyville." She gives me a serious look. The look of a commanding officer. "I would like to set you up in Ponyville so you can deal with them."

I look back at her than down to Misty. "If they're hurting innocents than of course I'll help. Just what'll happen to Misty?" I ask her as Misty gives her puppy eyes.

"Celestia smiles her motherly smile again. "Theres an old manor outside of town near the forest. We used to use it for hunters to keep the animals of the forest in check but since the animals hardly leave the forest any more it's unoccupied. You'll be staying there with and as long as you can take care of Misty she can stay with you." Misty flies across the room and hugs Celestia.

Celestia gladly hugs her back. "We'll finalize it all tomorrow." Celestia says as Luna is done with her plate.

"SERVANTS IT IS NOW TIME FOR THINE MOON CAKES!" Luna yells as loud as she can. Welp Thanks moon butt now my ears hurt. Ponies are so weird.
