Location Canterlot

Time: 7:03 p.m

That is one of the most disturbing sights I have ever seen. Luna is viciously tearing into some sort of mini cake thing. The way they disappear into the void of her stomach is something out of a horror film. A waitress finally sets some of the cake things down for the rest of us. They had to eventually just bring a cart out with a lot of them since every time someone got one Luna just stole it. The cake is like a fluffy Oreo, Cream in the middle of the cake. I slide mine over to Misty and get up. She happily starts to gobble it down before Luna can grab it.

Celestia looks at me. "No dessert Wolf?" She asks me as she gently eats. I put on my helmet and look back to her.

"I'm not a fan of sweets ever since my drill instructor caught me with a box of Fancy Lad Snack Cakes back in boot camp." I reply as I stretch.

Shinning looks up at me now. "So your where a trouble maker than?" He asks with a smirk.

I chuckle. "Was for the first week. Drill instructor Theodore quickly fixed that though with a Five mile run in the middle of the day."

Shinning winces at that. "I feel ya. I had to exercise nonstop in the rain and mud." He says.

Misty finishes eating and gets up and walks to me. "Thank you princesses." She says.

Luna just looks her way and Celestia smiles at her. "You welcomed my little pony. I'll stop by your room tomorrow morning to Discuss the job Wolf." Celestia said.

I salute her and walk out with Misty who waves goodbye. As we where walking out we just so happened to bump into Swift "O. I was just on my way to check up on you two. Ready to go back to your room?" She asks as she turn around. Misty and me nod our heads and follow her. We walk for a while in silence than Swift talks again. "So I'm going with you two to ponyville. Celestia asked me before dinner."

Misty starts jumping and flapping her wings with joy. "YAY! Swift is coming with us!" Misty says excitedly as she starts hopping around us.

I look at Swift. "Are you sure you want to just suddenly leave your life here?" I ask her as we continue down the hall.

Swift smiles up at me. "Well I'm still doing my job and really it's only my parents that are here that I'll miss. Plus it'll let me explore and finally get away from the nobles." She says the last part with some malice in her voice.

We turn a corner getting closer to our room. "People that bad up here?" I ask her

Swift snorts. "Just the nobles. Everypony else is nice. I just get to deal with the nobles more since they visit the palace more and the elite district surrounds the palace." Swift says as we reach our room.

"Then I'll see you tomorrow morning. Hope you know what your getting yourself into. Nobody's lived in the manor/mansion for awhile. Could be a awful site waiting for us." I say as I open the door and Misty walks in.

"I think that's why Celestia wants me to go with you two. To Help clean it up ." Swift said as we wave each other good bye as I walk into the room to see Misty jumping on the bed.

"I can't wait to see the place." Misty says still jumping on the bed.

"Lets just hope it's in a livable condition. Don't get your hopes up to high." I say as I sit down on the bed with her. "Come on lets see what your book is all about" I say as I pick it up and she lays down next to me.

Time: 6:00 A.M

*Knock knock* We both wake up to hear knocking on the door. I get up and nudge Misty to get up. "Come in." I say.

Two seconds later Celestia walks in with Swift who is holding a bag. "Good morning you two. I hope you slept well?" Celestia asks as she walks in. I just nod my head at her. "Best to get right to it than." Celestia says as she gives me a patch and some documents. The patch is a white alicorn rearing up. "With this patch and documents you are now part of the ranger branch of the Equestrian military." Celestia says as I get up and quickly salute her.

"Ma'am." I say to her.

"I know this is all quick but I fear for the ponies of ponyville. You only take orders from Me, Luna and Candace." I look to see she is worried. "The documents I gave you are of your citizenship, Service record, and finally guardianship over Misty Dew." My heart beats fast over all this news. A bombshell just got dropped on me and I don't even know what I'll be facing. "I'll announce all of this to the public later please follow me." Celestia says as we all rush after her.

When we catch up I ask her a question. "Something tells me I was just put into something huge. Hows this going to work out?" I ask.

Celestia looks at me. "You'll get support from the crown and your duty will be to protect my ponies. Once I announce to the public about all this you'll have a lot of power and are essentially a lord. You'll be above the law and can command any troops and officers to do what you say." Celestia says as we walk outside to the courtyard and to a loaded chariot.

"Something big worries you doesn't it?" I say as we stop at the chariot.

Celestia gives me a worried look. "Troubling times are ahead of us and the elements of harmony are the only thing that can stop it. Plus keep this between us. Not even Luna knows." She whispers to me. I nod my head. "The diamond dog legion is a huge threat that can't be solved by the elements and with them operating close to the elements, I can't take that risk." Misty,Swift and me step into the chariot. "You'll receive funds later today." Celestia says as the chariot take off.

Whelp, looks like I'm employed again. Just seems like I'm getting into a huge mess now though. Ranger life sucks.
