"Where did you find this stuff, Twilight?" Moondancer asked, when Twilight had returned to the castle with papers and files in her aura, along with a large magenta box. She also had a purple suit as well, which she placed on the map table.

"Pinkie's secret party cave under Sugar Cube Corner, but that's not important right now. Did you hear about what happened at the bank?" Twilight asked, as another strand in her mane curled up.

"No. What happened?" Moondancer asked. Twilight sighed, sifting through the papers as she recounted what happened to Moon Dancer.

Throwing a few of the papers behind her, she finished up. "After I found what I needed in the cave, I came back here," she said.

"Wait, so Pinkie was this 'Joker' character and she tried robbing the bank? Why?" Moondancer asked.

"It's simple. Puddin' wanted to make a statement, and she succeeded. Had that Bat not interfered, Puddin' wouldn't have been hurt and she would have gotten what she needed. But, no, the Bat had to play hero, and now Puddin's laid up hurt in that horrible Asylum. I gotta get her out of there, Moonie. I just gotta," Twilight said, her voice taking on a bit of a different inflection.

"Okay. What do you need me to do?" Moondancer asked.

Twilight smirked, flaring up her horn and passing the purple suit to Moondancer. "I need you to take this and get back to your place. Put it somewhere safe for when me and Puddin' get there. I also need your help finding a disguise for when I go back to the Asylum," she said, placing a few of the papers in front of Moondancer.

"Did you make these up," Moondancer asked.

"No. I found them in Puddin's cave. I think they're prototypes for her Joker outfit. Guess they didn't suit her," Twilight said, the inflection in her voice becoming far more pronounced.

"Okay, let's see," Moondancer said, looking over the designs. Most of them seemed to be variations of the purple suit Twilight brought back. One of them was a magenta tail suit with a squirting flower, another was a more crushed velvet suit with an orange shirt and turquoise waistcoat, and the third was a pinstriped suit with spats and a chain hanging from the trousers. Then, she saw one that was completely different. First of all, it wasn't purple. Instead, it was an ensemble of red and black, with diamond patterns on the legs. Frilly white cuffs were on the red and black sleeves, with a frilly lace collar as well. A laced up bodice was over the shirt, colored red and black, and to top it all off, there was a black leather jacket with a studded diamond pattern on the shoulders.

"What about that one?" Moondancer asked, sliding the red and black outfit to Twilight.

The Alicorn took the design and grinned. "That looks perfect, Moonie. You wanna help me make it?" she asked, setting to work jotting down the materials. The two friends spent the rest of the day making the outfit, after pouring through Twilight's library on books about tailoring. Rarity was out of the question to make the outfit right now. As the sun set, and the moon came out, Twilight and Moondancer finally finished the outfit.

"I'll admit, Twi. It looks better in reality than on paper," Moondancer said. Twilight smiled, beginning to put on the outfit, after having grabbed Pinkie's special box.

"I've been trying to come up with a name. Something to compliment Puddin's. Something...clowny," Twilight said, as she was fastening a belt around the red and black pants.

"The outfit is called the 'Harlequin'. Why don't you use that?" Moondancer asked.

"Hmm. 'The Joker's Harlequin'? I dunno, Moonie. It doesn't really roll off the tongue," Twilight said, the shirt now on.

"Harlequin. Harle-quin. Harley Quinn. Harley Quinn! What about that? Does that work?" Moondancer asked, smiling.

"Harley Quinn! You're a genius, Moonie," Twilight said, giggling, as she fastened the lace collar to her neck. She slipped the jacket on, then opened Pinkie's box, pulling out the face paint and mane dyes. "Puddin' had a good idea to dye her mane and tail too. None of the other girl's recognized her, so I'm gonna do the same. Best part is, the shirt and jacket obscure my wings, so no one's gonna know I'm an alicorn." Grabbing the white concealer, Twilight covered her face and ears, then grabbed the black paint and painted circles around her eyes. She curled her eyelashes, and added some eyeliner to make her eyes pop. Then, she grabbed a tube of bright red lipstick and applied it to her lips, pursing them for effect.

"So, how do I look, Moonie?" the now made up Twilight asked.

Moondancer gasped. Aside from her mane and tail, Twilight was unrecognizable. The white concealer and black around her eyes gave her a look similar to the Joker but not as haphazard, and the red lipstick wasn't as messily applied. "You look great, Twi. What color dye are you thinking for your mane and tail?"

"Hmm. Puddin's got a green mane and tail. Oooh! This one! It's perfect," Twilight said, levitating a blonde mane dye, and then applied it to her mane and tail. Inspecting herself in the full length mirror, Twilight smiled. She just needed one more thing to complete the look. Grabbing two mane elastics, she gave herself pigtails.

"Well, I think this is perfect. Time to go break out Puddin'," Twilight said.

"Hold on there, Missy. You're probably gonna be needing some equipment and stuff to deal with the guards," Moondancer said.

"You're right, Moonie. Thankfully, my Puddin's very smart, and she made outlines of how to make explosives and weapons and other fun stuff that goes 'boom.'" Placing two of the portfolios down, Twilight and Moondancer set to work, following Pinkie's designs.

The gate to White Tail Asylum had closed as the night rolled on. The figure of a pony leapt over the gate, and snuck to the front entrance of the Asylum, dispatching with the guard that was outside. A well placed hit to the head with a sledgehammer and they were out. Heading through the front entrance, the intruder took cover against the wall. The whole place was crawling with guards. She smirked. Time to have some fun. Teleporting a jack in the box and winding it, she waited for the guards to come around, having hid herself. Once they were gathered around it, she giggled, pushing the button that exploded the box and knocked out the guards.

"Pop goes the weasel. Hehehe!" she said to herself, skipping on to find her target. More guards came into view. The pony groaned. This place was infested. She leapt up into the rafters and pulled out one of the streamer grenades. She made them exactly as the design had indicated, but had yet to try them out. They would either work like a charm or blow up in her face. Pulling the pin, she threw it at one of the guards and he became tied up in streamers. She clapped her hooves in delight. They worked.

"What in Equestria did this?" one of the guards asked, trying to free his comrade, but only becoming tangled himself.

The mystery pony approached and smiled. "Night, night," she said, hitting the guards in the head with the butt of her sledgehammer and knocking them out. She continued skipping until she found the guard terminal.

"Time for light's out," she said to herself, cutting the power. She now had a short time window. Leaving the terminal, she galloped down one hallway and then another until she finally made it to the cell. The pink mare inside was laid up, with a bandage wrapped around her head, and a foreleg in a sling. The pony's heart sank seeing the mare like that. It was unbearable. Reaching into her jacket, she pulled out the sticky explosives she'd made and primed them. 10 seconds went by and then the pink mare was knocked awake by the force of the explosion. She coughed as she regained her senses, when a shadow stood over her.

"Knock, knock, Puddin'. Say hello to your new and improved Harley Quinn!" the pony said, striking a pose. Harley lifted the pink mare onto her back and smiled, kissing her head. "Hold on, sweetie. I'm getting you out of here," she said. The pink mare simply chuckled. The lights came back on and the alarm sounded. Time was up. Reaching into her jacket again, Harley pulled out another grenade and threw it at the approaching guards. The pink mare giggled at the sight.

Harley growled as the guards tried to intercept her from two sides. No, you don't, pigs. She picked up speed and hit the guards full force with her sledgehammer. She knew she probably killed a few of them, she didn't care. She was simply concerned with getting Puddin' out. The pink mare laughed loudly as the guards fell, and she and Harley made it to the front entrance, only to find it locked. Great. These stallions weren't as stupid as they let on, it seemed. The pink mare was laughing and giggling, clearly still out of it.

"Puddin', I'm gonna need you to hang onto me, okay? This next part will be tricky," Harley said. The pink mare simply cackled raucously. She took that as confirmation. Concentrating, her horn flared up and then, she and the pink mare teleported away. They'd made it. They were safe.

In a magenta flash, Harley and Pinkie had teleported back to Moondancer's house. Carefully placing the still giggling Pinkie on Moondancer's couch, Harley took a deep breath. She finally got her Puddin' out. The extra additions to her outfit, the red and black paint on the ends of her pigtails, and on end of her tail, and the spell that changed her eyes from their violet color to a bright blue, were decided at the last minute by Moondancer but they were just what Harley needed.

"Puddin'? Can you hear me? We're safe now, Puddin'. It's okay," Harley said. Pinkie's giggling slowly died down, as she yawned, and fell back onto the couch, snoring. The clown mare smiled, kissing the top of Pinkie's head. "Sweet dreams, Puddin'."

"You know, you both can take the guest room. I have it all set up," Moondancer said, coming into the living room with two mugs of hot chocolate. Harley smiled, taking one of the mugs.

"Moonie, thank you, but I don't wanna impose," she said, blowing the steam away.

"It's not imposing, Twilight. You and Pinkie deserve a good night's rest. It's the least I can do," the tired unicorn said, taking a sip from her own mug.

"You're such a good friend, Moonie," Harley said, hugging the unicorn, and taking a sip from the mug. Carefully levitating the sleeping Pinkie, Harley waved goodnight to Moondancer, and then both headed upstairs to the guest room. The clown laid Pinkie on the bed, wrapping the blankets around her, before removing her outfit and slipping on a short red nightie. Wiping off her makeup, Twilight let her mane out of the pigtails and crawled into bed next to Pinkie. "Good night, Puddin'. I hope you get the best sleep you've had in a while. I love you, Pinkie." With a final kiss to the sleeping mare's head, Twilight snuggled into her and then drifted off to sleep.

When Ponyville would wake up in the morning, the news would be out. The Joker had been broken out of the Asylum by an accomplice. In the morning, Equestria would know the name of Harley Quinn.

Author's Note

I'm not sure which chapter is my favorite, this one or the last one. Suffice it to say, the NEXT chapter will be explicit, as sexy times are going to ensue. The next few chapters are going to take place at Moondancer's since Twilight and Pinkie need to lay low for a little while. Though, I'm also going to be cutting back to the Elements, and definitely to Celestia. Stay tuned guys. It'll only get better from here. Also, try and guess which versions of the Joker I was referencing with Pinkie's unused designs. The answers will be at the end of the next chapter.
