Chapters Sweetie Drops: ThunderHoof
Princess Celestia lowered the sun and went about to to her chamber. Her stroll through the halls always calmed her after her little ritual. She passed members of the royal staff on her way, with each of them receiving a beautiful royal smile. Celestia opened her chamber and stepped into the cool room.
Rarity had been there the week prior, so seeing an empty bed was quite the change for her. She took off her crown and removed her horseshoes and went to the restroom. After she was done, she got into her queen-sized bed and sank into the satin goodness of a sheet.
As she was about to fall asleep, a quiet knock rapped at her chamber door. She grumbled and trotted to the door. With an open, the knocker was revealed. Luna stood there with a look that Celestia hadn’t quite seen in a long time.
It was a look of trouble.
“Sister, there has been an occurrence in Trottingham. I think you would like to know about it”, the night princess said.
“Luna, I was about to go to bed. Can’t this wait until the morning?”, Celestia grumbled.
“That depends, sister. Do you want to risk somepony’s life?”, Luna sternly asked.
Celestia’s entire expression changed within a mere second. Somepony’s life was at risk? This, she had to know.
“Elaborate more, Lulu. What is the situation?”, Celestia asked.
“I’m afraid that a filly has been kidnapped, and she is been held captive by some kind of mafia. There’s one thing though, Tia”, Luna said.
“And that is?”, Celestia questioned.
“Her entire family was murded before she was taken”, Luna sadly said.
Celestia let out a shaken gasp at that. This was no longer just a kidnapping. This was homicide.
——————————————————————
“Goodnight, Mom”, said a filly no more than 12.
“Goodnight, my sweet. Mommy loves you”, an older mare called back.
With that, she closed the door and made her way down to the kitchen. There, she found her wife sitting with a cup of tea.
“Hey cutie, ready to hit the hay?”, the turquoise mare asked her wife.
“You betcha, Lyra. I’m plain pooped”, the mare said to her wife.
The two mares laughed and made their way up the stairs. They were Lyra and Bon-Bon Heartstrings, proud mothers of Scootaloo. They entered their bedroom and got into the large bed. Lyra then let out a loud yawn.
“Tough day, honeybunch?”, Bonnie asked.
“Yeah, playing the harp can be tiring sometimes”, Lyra sleepily said.
Bon-Bon chuckled at her wife’s remark. She then cuddled up on Lyra’s barrel.
“Your so soft, Ly-Ly”, Bon-Bon cooed.
“Dang right I am, SweetieBuns”, Lyra said slyly.
“Never heard that one before”, Bonnie teased.
“Gotta say what’s true baby”, Lyra flirted.
They shared a passionate kiss and fell asleep. Little did they know, however, that their lives were about to change.
——————————————————————
THE NEXT DAY
The happy couple woke to a beautiful sunrise that calmed them deeply. They made their way to Scootaloo’s room and woke their surrogate daughter from her slumber. The trio trotted to the kitchen for breakfast.
When the pancake batter was set, Bon-Bon set about to dust a bit. The Heartstrings family kept their home very tidy, so the dusting was more like minor check up.
Then there came a knock on the door.
“Who could that be? It’s like 8:30 in the morning”, Bon-Bon asked nopony in particular.
She went over to the door and opened it to find two royal guards.
“Good morning, ma’m. We are looking for a mare named Sweetie Drops, have you seen her?”, one of them questioned.
Bon-Bon nearly dropped her duster at the mention of the name. It was one she hadn’t heard in quite a while. She thought that she would never have to face this, but they looked serious. Nevertheless, she tried to play it off
“I-Im sorry, gentleman. I don’t have clue who that may be”, Bon-Bon said with a nervous grin.
They gave her a look that mother would give to lying foal.
“We know it’s you, Agent Drops. Princess Celestia has requested your presence at the royal castle. We have been asked to escort you there”, the other guard said.
“Alright, at least let me explain to my wife and daughter where I’ll be”, Bon-Bon said.
“I’m afraid that’s not an option. This is a top-secret mission, and per orders of the princess nopony is allowed to know any information on the subject”, the guard said.
“Well, can I at least say goodbye. I’ll tell them something to calm their nerves”, Bon-Bon suggested.
The guards both nodded and allowed her to leave. Bon-Bon shuffled to the kitchen and met her family.
“Um..Everypony, could you listen to me?”, Bonnie said.
The musician and the crusader turned to her with full attention.
“One of my friends in the candy-making business told me about a convention in Canterlot. Get this, I totally forgot about it”, Bon-Bon said with a nervous chuckle.
Lyra and Scootlaoo looked suspicious, so Bon-Bon had to act quick.
“It’s really important, possibly even life-changing! Something that could change our lives forever”, Bon-Bon nervously spat out.
This caught them by suprise. Life-changing sound pretty important, hence the title:
“Bonnie, if you gotta go then you gotta go. I’ll be fine with Scoots. Won’t I, sweetie?”, Lyra asked the filly.
“Sure! Mom, if this is as big as you say then I say you do it! You deserve something like this”, Scootaloo said to Bonnie.
Bon-Bon flashed a smile and hugged her family.
“Thank you! I don’t know how long I’ll be gone, but I’ll try to come back soon!”, Bon-Bon said before going to the door.
“Bye Mom!”, Scootaloo said.
Bon-Bon stopped and looked her daughter in the eyes.
“Bye, sweetie. Mommy loves you. Bye Lyra, love you”, Bonnie said before continuing on her way.
——————————————————————
ABOUT AN HOUR LATER
Bon-Bon exited the chariot and looked at the towering structure that lay before her. Canterlot Castle was huge! She hadn’t never been this close to it before, so this view was great!
“Right this way, Agent Drops”, one of the guards said.
She nodded and followed them into the castle. The long, winding halls confused her, but she kept on anyway. They reached the throne room door and went in.
Princesses Celestia and Luna were sitting on their respective thrones and both bore a serious look.
“Greetings, Agent Sweetie Drops. I assume your ride down was pleasant?”, Celestia asked.
“Yes, your magesty, it was just fine”, Bon-Bon said with a bow.
“Splendid, now it it is time for an explanation”, Luna said, “There was a kidnapping in Trottingham late last night. The local mafia kidnapped a filly, but not before murdering her family. Why this happened, we are not sure”.
The news took Bon-Bon back a bit, she had never delt with HOMICIDE before. In fact, she had never delt with kidnappings, either. Why had the princess chose her?
“Excuse me, Princess?”, Bon-Bon interrupted.
“Yes, what do you need?”, Luna responded.
“I’m very flattered that you personally chose me for this, but I have some questions. I’ve only ever dealt with monsters, why would you pick me? Wouldn’t the Elements Of Harmony be a better fit?”, Bon-Bon asked.
“These are all completely normal questions, my little pony. While the Elements would be a good choice, we thought that you would have better experience in this field. You’ve recently adopted a filly, Yes?”, Celestia asked.
“Yes ma’am”, Bon-Bon responded.
“Well, we know how much she means to you. If anypony were to take the case on, your the best choice”, Celestia said with a smile.
Bon-Bon’s confidence leveled up when Celestia said that.
“If you think so, then it must be true. I’ll do my best Princess!”, Bon-Bon said confidently.
“Great! Your train leaves tommorow, so I assume you’ll be ready”, Celestia said.
“You bet I will, Princess. Those thugs won’t know what hit them”, Bon-Bon said with a smirk.
Sweetie Drops: ThunderHoof
Bon-Bon approached Canterlot Station with a stern expression. To say that she was on edge was quite an understatement. This was her first case in years, plus it was her first case dealing with something as gruesome as homocide. The thing that got to her the most was the fact that the poor filly WATCHED her family die. Literally, she watched them be slain in cold blood.
The thought sent shivers down her spine. She couldn’t imagine Scootaloo being faced with that mental scar. Choosing to leave it be, she pushed the thought out fast. She approached the booth where the tickets were exchanged.
Soon enough, she was on the train. The locomotive’s atmosphere was like a mixed bag. She could hear laughing foals, yet she also heard coughs and whispers. Quite chilling, isn’t it?
As the train sputtered and spat it’s way forward, Bon-Bon said a short prayer with only one demand.
“Please keep my alive for my daughter”.
——————————————————————
ABOUT 15 HOURS LATER
When the train ride had ended, Bon-Bon waited for the other patrons to go first. She hated big crowds. When the last one was off, she made her move. She stepped out into Trottingham and got her first look.
It was a drizzly, overcast evening in Trottingham. Birds flocked to wherever and the creatures were up and about. The ponies, while pale, looked happy enough to be there. The building were gothic and towering, with each holding a unique look to call their own.
To Bon-Bon, it was straight out of a Sherlock Hooves novel. She took a look to try to find some guidance. She found it in the form of a large, burly stallion holding a sign that said her name.
She trotted over to him, hoping to get some answers.
“Excuse me, sir?”, Bonnie beckoned the stallion.
“Yes, lass? What troubles you?”, the polite stallion responded.
“I am Agent Sweetie Drops. The one your looking for”, she stated.
“Ah, Agent Drops! How was your ride?”, the portly stallion asked.
“Fine, I guess. Anywho, could you maybe take me to where I’m supposed to be?”, Bonnie asked.
“Why, yes of course madam! Oh, pardon me, my name is Case Lead. I’m head detective of Trottingham Yard”, Case Lead said.
“Nice to meet you, Case Lead”, Bonnie said back.
“Anyway, let’s be on our way”, Case Lead said.
Bon-Bon nodded and the two made their way through the paved cobblestone streets. They passed some interesting building on their way. These places looked to be out of a Dracucolt novel.
They then approached a large building that seemed important.
“Right this way, Agent Drops. Welcome to Trottingham Yard!”, Case Lead said.
He opened the doors, allowing Bonnie to truly take in the office.
It was a typical office, with cubicles and desks lining the rows. The ponies within them were working hard on solving the kidnapping case.
“As you can see, we’ve been working since the crime scene as to find out where they took the filly”, Case Lead said.
“May I get some information? I don’t even know the filly’s name”, Bon-Bon asked.
“Yes, sorry. Follow me, I’ll take you to the evidence room”, Case Lead said.
The pair trotted down the hall and past some rooms. They then reached a locked door labeled “Evidence Room”. Case Lead took his key and unlocked the door. What lay inside disgusted Bon-Bon.
There were multiple objects coated with blood, including a doll that most likely belonged to the filly.
“The filly’s name is Lime Scent, heir to a fortune amassed through the selling of flowers. Her family had ran that shop for several generations, with her father taking over the reigns recently. Apparently, they were in some kind of debt”, Case Lead explained”, so the father seeked bits. He met a stallion named Trust Fund. Trust Fund is a local banker who he’d been friends with for a long time”.
“Trust Fund lended him the money to pay the debt, and all was well. That was until the father couldn’t pay the loan back. Trust Fund pestered him for months, and then he snapped. In the middle of the night, Trust Fund and the mafia broke into the family’s home and beat her parents to death. The poor filly watched it happen and gave away her position. They took her away and nopony has seen her since”, Case Lead finished.
By the end, Bonnie knew her mission. She had to get this filly back.
“Are there any leads?”, Bon-Bon asked.
“Only one. An anonymous source said that he overheard two goons saying that they were taking her to Liverhoof”, Case Lead said.
“Alright, that seems alright. I just have one question though”, Bonnie said.
“That being?”, Case Lead asked.
“Well, usually when I did cases I had a partner. Am I going to get a partner?”, Bon-Bon asked
“I’m glad you said that, we just happen to have somepony to help you out”, Case Lead said.
“Who?”, Bon-Bon asked.
Suddenly, there was knock on the door. Case Lead opened the door and let the knocker in. In walked a light-blue unicorn with a mane of silver. She had a nervous, yet humble look on her face.
“Agent Drops, this is Agent Ice Flake. She is a new recruit Trottingham Yard”, Case Lead said.
“H-How do you do?”, Ice Flake said in a Trottingham accent.
“I’m doing fine, it’s nice to meet you”, Bon-Bon said sweetly.
“Alrighty, now that everyponies aquatinted, now we can get started. If you look to your left, you find your supplies”, Case Lead said.
Both mares looked over to find a wall full of gear and gadgets. There were a set of pistols with ammo, walkie-talkies, and two pairs of shades. There were also two big jackets and badges.
“Suit up and meet me in the lobby”, Case Lead said.
Both mares nodded and began to suit up. They put the guns in the jacket pockets and the badges in the other. When they were done, they met the stallion in the lobby.
“Alright, fillies. LET’S MOVE!”, Case Lead.
Sweetie Drops: ThunderHoof
The two mares walked out of Trottingham Yard with driven scowls. These mares were ready to fight and get that filly back home, or at least what she had left of it. Bon-Bon and Ice Flake knew where to go.
They had to interrogate Trust Fund. There was a slight catch to that, though. Trust Fund was in Liverhoof, a sub-city Of Trottingham located to the south. They had a feeling that he was heavily armed and guarded. That was the catch.
“Alright, Ice Flake. I need you to go to the station and get two tickets to Liverhoof. I need to use the restroom”, Bon-Bon said.
“Right, on it”, Ice Flake said back.
They split and made their way to do their separate deeds. With that, Bonnie made her way to the restroom. She did her business and trotted to the sink. As she was washing her hands, her mind wandered to her wife and filly. Her fear was that the goons would get to them and harm themselves in any way.
The thought made her shiver with anguish.
“Calm down, Bonnie. It’s going to be fine. Scoots and Lyra are alright”, she calmed herself in the mirror.
“Mrs. Drops?”, said an accented voice.
Bonnie turned to find Ice Flake holding to tickets.
“Are you alright?”, Ice Flake.
“Yeah, just fine. Let’s get going”, Bonnie said while pushing past her. She had look like she had seen a ghost.
Ice Flake didn’t know why, but that look made her tremble a bit.
——————————————————————
[bTWO HOURS LATER
The train halted to a steamy stop in LiverHoof. The city was the place where the Fab Four made music in Equestria more than just a monopoly. But that wasn’t why Bon-Bon and Ice Flake were there. The were gonna find out who killed those ponies and bring the filly back home.
The weather in Liverhoof was surprisingly sunny. It gave a calm vibe to the otherwise mopey city.
There was one problem, however. They didn’t know where the hay to start. All they knew was the perps location, but beyond that it was like walking in a mine field.
“Alright, seeing as how we have no clear direction, me should go and get a hotel room. Do you know of any hotels or inns here, Ice Flake?”, Bonnie asked.
“If I do recall my briefing, there is an inn in the downtown district. It’s about 5 miles exactly. If you wish, we could check in there”, Ice Flake said.
Bon-Bon nodded and the two made their way downtown. The district was very colorful and lively. They saw their apparent destination up ahead; The Nook N’ Cranny Inn.
It was a simple, yet gothic building. It was clear that it’d been there for a while, as the cobblestone walls were quite banged up.
They trotted in and took a good look at their surroundings. There was an extraordinary amount of red lighting and stained glass. The walls were adorned with pictures of famous art and literature. The pony working the front desk was a cheerful, portly mare.
“‘Hello there, dearies! Welcome to the Nook N’ Cranny Inn! What may I do ya for?”, She asked in a pleasant accent.
“Hello, we wish to rent a room, preferably for a week”, Ice Flake said.
“Alrighty, that can be done. That will be 40 pounds, please”, the friendly clerk said.
Ice Flake put the money on the table and was given a room key. They were in room 240.
“Thank you, m’am; best wishes”, Ice Flake said while trotting towards the stairs. Bonnie followed suit.
They walked down the wondering halls until they eventually found their room. They entered and were taken aback by the decor.
There were mirrors everywhere, even on the ceiling. The room was painted a deep purple, and there were cellophane flowers.
To say that it was strange was putting it lightly.
“Ok, this is a bit strange. I can understand the flowers, but mirrors on the ceiling? Who designed this place?”, Bon-Bon inquired.
Ice Flake shrugged and put her bag on the bed. She pulled out a small pistol and a clip. She loaded it and put in down. Next, she pulled out a teddy bear.
“Why do you have a teddy bear?”, Bonnie asked.
“When we find the filly, she’ll need some kind of comfort. Might as well give her one of my old teddies”, Ice Flake said.
“That’s really nice of you, I know that I would do the same for my daughter”, Bon-Bon said.
Ice Flake looked very suprised.
“You have a daughter? Wow, that’s unexpected”, Ice Flake said.
“Now what’s that supposed to mean?”, Bonnie said angrily.
“No No! I didn’t mean it in a bad way. I’m just suprised is all. You don’t look like a mare who has given birth”, Ice Flake said, trying to clear confusion.
“You’re right, I haven’t given birth. She’s my adopted daughter”, Bon-Bon said.
“Ohhhh, that makes sense. Do you take care of her by yourself? Or is their somepony else?”, Ice Flake smirked.
“My wife and I adopted her. You see, I run a candy shop where I’m from. She always used to come by and buy my candy. When we found out she was an orphan, we decided to help her out. Coincidentally, we both wanted to adopt. So I guess it was kind of like a right place right time kind of thing”, Bon-Bon said.
Ice Flake nodded and looked down a bit.
“What’s wrong, Ice Flake?”, Bonnie asked.
“Well...I have a foal as well. I’m just kinda missing him is all”, Ice Flake admitted.
“Wow, that’s great. Who’s taking care of him? His father, I presume?”, Bon-Bon asked.
Ice Flake began to cry a bit, catching Bon-Bon by suprise.
“No...He’s staying with my sister. My husband.....He’s no longer with us. Somepony murdered him a couple of days after I gave birth. That’s why I became an agent; to solve the case that’s been haunting me for the last 7 years”, Ice Flake said before weeping loudly.
Bon-Bon gasped; she wasn’t expecting something so gruesome from a seemingly normal mare. She trotted up and hugged the blue mare, who accepted it.
“Ice Flake, I’m so sorry that happened to you. I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to my wife, I envy you for being so strong and raising your foal by yourself for years”, Bonnie emotionally said.
“Thank you, but that’s not what we’re here for. We gotta find that filly and bring justice back to Trottingham. Through hell or high water”, Ice Flake said decisively.
“You’re absolutely right, Ice Flake”, Bon-Bon said.
“Please, just call me Flakey. That’s what all of my friends call me” Ice Flake said in a nice tone.
“Then you can call me by my real name. Call me Bon-Bon”, Bonnie said.
“Alright, Bon-Bon. What do you say we-“, Ice Flake was interrupted by a commotion in the next room.
“SHUT UP YOU LITTLE BITCH, MAKE MORE NOISE AND I’LL SLIT YOUR BLOODY THROAT!”, a gruff voice muffledly yelled.
They then heard a filly-like cry come afterwards.
“You don’t think.....?”, Bon-Bon put two and two together.
“It’s possible, be quiet and let’s keep listening”, Ice Flake said.
“I want my mommy!!!”, the filly said while crying.
“TOO BAD, SHE’S DEAD AND GONE! YOU’LL NEVER SEE HER AGAIN. NOW KEEP QUIET BEFORE I HURT YOU WORSE THAN I DID YOUR FAMILY!!”, the horrid voice threatened.
That was all it took before the two agents stepped into action. They pulled out their guns and prepared to bust down the door.
“Alright, follow my lead Flakey. One...Two...THREE”, Bonnie said before they knocked the door down with a kick.
“TROTTINGHAM YARD, PUT YOUR HOOVRS IN THE AIR AND LEAVE THE FILLY ALONE!”, Bon-Bon said.
The two in question was a large, bouncer type stallion and a lime green filly. It was Lime Scent, alright.
“OH CRAP! Please! Don’t hurt me! I’m just a henchman!”, the blubbering fool said with his hooves in the air.
The filly ran to Ice Flake, who cradled her while she wept.
“Now, I’m going to make this short and sweet. Where is Trust Fund?”, Bonnie said angrily.
“How do you know him?”, the buff stallion said.
“Do you want to question somepony with a loaded gun? Or do you want a face full of BUCKING LEAD? TALK!!”, Bon-Bon said with gritted teeth.
“Ok ok ok!! Just don’t shoot!! He’s at the casino!! The Mareiot! It’s down the street. Just don’t hurt me!!!”, The coward cried.
“You make sick, you bastard. Ice Flake, I’m gonna call for immediate backup. I know that there are agents here. They’ll get Lime Scent back to Trottingham Yard. After that’s done, we’re pop some lead”, Bonnie said.
Eventually, back up came and took the filly away. Lime Scent was pretty much always in tears. So the ponies had to be extra gentle.
As they took her safely away, Bon-Bon talked to Ice Flake.
“That’s step one, Ice Flake. Tommorow, we arrest some scum. Let’s rest”, Bonnie said while turning towards their room.
Sweetie Drops: ThunderHoof
After the rescue of Lime Scent, Bon-Bon and Ice Flake were preparing to bust Trust Fund at his hideout. While visiting and assisting with the rescue, Case Lead gave them a photo of the stallion for reference.
Trust Fund was one ugly mug, sporting a greasy mane and a gut bigger then a dragons appetite.
His smile was as crooked as his crimes, which gave the agents influence to bag the bugger.
“Alright, Flakey, it’s about time. Are you ready?”, Bon-Bon said while putting on a disguise; a sparkling red suquin dress.
“Yep, we’re gonna show this greedy fatty what’s for. Now, before we go, I’m gonna give you a gift”, Ice Flake said.
Ice Flake then pulled out a large revolver.
“Jeez Flakey, where did you get this?”, Bonnie said surprisingly.
“It was my husband’s. I figured since you needed extra fire power, I’d pass it on to a true friend”, Ice Flake said sweetly.
“A-Are you sure? I mean, this was your husbands. I wouldn’t want to take a memory away from you, Flake”, Bon-Bon reluctantly said.
“I insist; it’s better that I don’t have to see it; Too many painful memories”, Ice Flake said.
“Thank you, Ice Flake. Now, let’s go kick some flank”, Bon-Bon said sinisterly.
——————————————————————
The Mareiot was crawling with ponies. How could they sneak in? Simple, you always spot the exits. The agents were dressed in evening wear and jewelry.
“Ah ponyfeathers, that’s a lotta blokes”, Ice Flake’s Trottingham slang showed.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be tough. We can do it, though”, Bonnie said.
They then began to sneak towards the hotel. Apparently, there was an elaborate party being held there. Getting in was gonna be a challenge, but they could manage.
They noticed an open back window, and sprung at the opportunity. They crawled through and crept around the innards of the looming hotel.
They entered the grand ballroom and were taken aback by the decor. It was something out of a movie.
They then spotted Trust Fund playing poker; he wasn’t losing pretty badly.
“Whadda ya mean I’m outta chips?! This is an outrage!!”, the greasy goon yelled.
“That means you’re out of chips, dumbshit”, the dealer swore.
Trust Fund slapped the dealer and went over to the bar.
“Short temper, huh? Well crap, that’s another worry to list”, Ice Flake gloomily said.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan. It may go against my beliefs, but I might have to seduce him”, Bonnie said grossly.
“You sure? I mean, I could always seduce him”, Ice Flake suggested.
Bon-Bon got an idea and grew a devilish grin.
“Let’s BOTH seduce him. Any stallion would kill for a three way, so let’s exploit it”, she crafted.
“You’re a bloody genius! Let’s get dirty”, Ice Flake joined her look.
They trotted over to the drunken delinquent and swayed their hips extra.
“Hey there big fella~”, Bonnie said.
“Wanna take ride?”, Ice Flake added.
Trust Fund looked over and immediately grew smitten. How could he possibly say no? That was like turning down a chance to win the lottery.
“You betcha, darlings. Allow me to lead the way; I got me a private suite”, Trust Fund said.
The three walked towards an elevator and pressed the button. The ride was only a plot developer for the agents. They knew what they had to do.
As they stepped out of the elevator, they turned their best charm on. Bonnie made sure to sway her hips extra, just to get him pent up.
It worked, as he followed faster. They entered his incredibly luxurious suite and began to entice him. Such acts as taking off stockings were driving the gangster crazy.
Just as Ice Flake was about to kiss him, she kicked him straight in the balls.
“OOOOOHH, WHY?!?!?!”, he cried out.
“You’re under arrest, Trust Fund”, Ice Flake said while pulling her badge out.
“YOUU....CHEEKY......BI...BIT......UHHHH”, he couldn’t even finish his sentence before he continued to sulk in agony.
Suddenly, they heard rushing and the door was knocked down by goons. The began to shoot, to which Bonnie and Flakey hid behind turned over desk.
Bonnie pulled her revolver out and shot freely. She hit about three and grazed two. Ice Flake, however, just bucking went crazy.
She was like Rambo, as every bullet she shot hit a goon.
When the dust settled, there were a pile of greatly injured goons on the suite’s now unclean floor.
“Alright, I’ll call for backu-AAAHHH!!”, Ice Flake screeched in pain.
One of the dying goons had shot her in the leg.
“ICE FLAKE!!!”, Bon-Bon cradled her fallen ally.
“Ice Flake, eh? I knew your sorry face was familiar”, Trust Fund said.
He was know pain free and holding a tommy-gun.
“How do you know her, you gluttonous bastard?”, Bonnie said through gritted teeth.
“Because..I shot her bloody husband. He was a friend of mine, see? He was just another sucker who didn’t pay me back”, the stallion said with devilish grin.
Ice Flake, upon hearing this, pulled out her gun and shot him point blank in his stomach.
He cried in pain as Ice Flake crawled towards him.
“Let this be known, motherbucker, I’ve been hunting your sorry ass for 7 years. If I’m gonna die, then I’m taking you with me”, she said before pulling the trigger.
Bon-Bon looked away, as she knew what was next. The boom was loud enough for Bonnie to cringe at.
When she looked up, she almost vomited at the site. Trust Fund wasn’t dead, but his left forearm was badly banged up.
“Sweet Tartuarus, what the buck was that?!”, Bonnie said in shock.
Ice Flake didn’t respond, as she passed out.
Bon-Bon hurriedly called for backup, and it soon arrived. The place was swarming with Trottingham Yard officers soon after.
——————————————————————
When Ice Flake woke up, she was in a white room.
“Flakey!! Thank goodness you’re ok!!”, said a familiar face.
Bon-Bon rushed towards her and squeezed her tightly. Ice Flake returned the hug and sobbed into her Bonnie’s mane.
Case Lead was also relieved to see her, as he made an appearance after the two agents separated.
“It’s good to see you’re ok, Agent Flake. But, I have some bad news. The X-Ray’s on your leg have shown fatal, thus you can no longer serve in our force. I’m sorry...”, Case Lead solemnly began.
“But, there is a bright side. As you know, Lime Scent’s remaining family are gone, but we have a request. We would like you to move to a new town and raise her as your own. I know you already have another foal, but we need you to do this”, Case Lead explained.
Ice Flake thought about it and then spoke up.
“Ok, I can do that. I have questions, however”, Ice Flake said.
“Alrighty, shoot”, Case Lead said.
“Can I see my foal, please?”, Ice Flake asked.
As if on cue, a tiny pair of hoofsteps slowly walked towards the room.
“Mummy? Are you feeling better”, a little voice said worridly.
A little colt, no more than seven, walked in. He had and ice-blue cost and a white mane.
“Hey, IceCube, Mummy’s feeling much better. Actually, I want you to meet somepony special”, Ice Flake pointed to Bon-Bon.
“Oh, hello there miss. Are a friend of my Mum?”, he said cutely.
Bonnie giggled and knelt down.
“Yeah, my name is Bon-Bon. I like your mane”, she said gently. She always knew how to talk to foals.
“Thank you, ma’m. I like yours, too”, he said politely.
“Oh my, such a little gentlecolt. You want a peppermint?, Bon-Bon asked.
He nodded heavily and recieved the hard candy.
“Alright, Case Lead, next question. Can I see Lime Scent?”, Ice Flake asked.
“Of course, give me a second”, he said.
When he walked away, Ice Flake spoke to her son.
“Sweetie, I’ve got something to tell you. You know how Mummy’s job is a bit weird?”, Ice Flake asked her colt.
He nodded and intently listened.
“Well, we are going to be having a new friend stay with us”, Ice Flake gently said.
“IM GETTING A NEW FRIEND?!”, the colt excitedly asked.
“Yes, honey, you are”, Ice Flake blushed.
At that moment, Case Lead came back with the little green filly.
“Hey, you’re the nice lady who saved me!”, the jovial filly called out.
Ice Flake laughed and smiled.
“Yes, that’s me. My name is Ice Flake, and you name is Lime Scent”, Ice Flake said.
“I know that! Why did you want to see me, Miss Flake?”, Lime Scent curiously inquired.
“Well, given your...Situation, I’m gonna be taking care of you”, Ice Flake said gently.
The filly looked sad, but then smiled.
“Really? Does that make you my Mum?”, the filly asked.
“If you want me to be, sweetheart”, Ice Flake said.
“Mum, is this who you were taking about?”, IceCube asked.
“Yes, I would like you to meet Lime Scent. Lime Scent, this is my son IceCube”, Ice Flake said.
“H-Hello”, the colt said shyly.
The filly trotted up and gave him a hug.
“Hello there, IceCube. I’m Lime Scent. I guess I’m your sister now, huh?”, she said.
IceCube’s little face lit up.
“I have a sister??! This is the BEST. DAY. EVER!!”, he said while hugging his new sister back.
Bon-Bon was emotional as she saw this moment. It honestly made her think how happy Scootaloo would be if....Well, maybe she should save that for later.
“One more thing, Ice Flake. I forgot to tell you your new post”, Case Lead said.
The room was now quiet in anticipation.
“You’re new station will be in......”, Case Lead began.
Everypony was the edge of their nonexistent seats.
“Ponyville”, Case Lead said with a grin.
