"Mane 6? Can you read me Mane 6? Please respond! Whats wrong? What happened? Please respond!"

"Shit. They're not picking up." Officer Sunblane said, switching channels to Princess Celestia's radio.

"Have you gotten to them yet?" She said as soon as the line opened.

"Well.. Not yet, and I kinda losing hope.." He said, looking down. He glanced at the transmitter.

"Don't you dare loose hope now! Keep trying, if they don't answer in an hour, then I'll make sure that a search team goes out. Now if you don't mind, I have a war to handle." She shut the line.
Sunblane sighed, he stared at the communication relay. His eyes wondered around the room. He saw the posters he had put up of the Wonderbolts. The mech figurine that he had on his desk. It was hard to build that, especially because it was made for unicorns and he was a pegasus. It was hard to believe in the Wonderbolts ever since they turned into a bombing squad. To bad Rainbow Dash didn't get to join that either. She was in Mane 6. The sounds of gunfire and explosions rang out. He looked over at the window to see the soldiers training. We all have been going hungry since most of the ground is covered by tenzes. The Tenzes are machines that gather materials that make robots and mechs.

They only grab those materials, nothing else. We have farms, but they were bombed and nopony is willing to fix them. Sunblane then turned toward the console, grabbed the transmitter paper, and tuned in onto the Mane 6 line. After a good 30 minutes, he decided to give up. He leaned back in his chair. Just before he turned it off, static came in, from the Mane 6 line. He sat straight up and turned the tuner.

"Need........Help.....Plea.......ther.....no...time.....Atta.....mos.......dead......s.e....righ.....awa......plea......no......sol..tion...."
It tuned out. Shit! He tried and tried to find the signal again, but it was useless. He changed channels back to Celestia's.

"Have you found something!?" She said.

"Yes! It was filled with static but some words were able to come out."

"Finally! I'm sorting a search team right now, you'll be part of it."

"Wait me? But-"

"There are no buts to be made. It has been decided by me and my sister." He remembered how Princess Luna was still out fighting.

"Yes ma'm." He closed the channel and went to his quarters. His first mission outside of the base! He grabbed his backpack and handgun. He flew towards the loading bay.

"ALL PONIES ON THE LIST FOR THE SEARCH AND RESCUE MUST REPORT. SUNBLANE, NIMBLE TAIL, CLOUD SWEEPER, MIDNIGHT, AND STAR FACADE." He arrived at the loading bay, getting into the transport vehicle. It was full with weapons. He sat down, staring at all of the guns on the walls. The ponies assigned the mission started to come in. They all sat down, one by one. The engine started.

Nopony said anything. It was silent. Sunblane started to breath heavily. What is they can't find them? What if-

"You okay?" Nimble Tail asked him. He hadn't realized that everpony was staring at him.

"Y-yea, I guess." They all looked down at the floor.

"ALMOST TO THE LAST PLACE WHERE THE MANE 6 WAS REPORTEDLY SEEN, PREPARE TO GET THE HELL OUT IN 10 MINUTES!"

Twilight Sparkle walked over to her mech. It was completely functional, except the communication relay was damaged and it was covered in sand. She stared at it. It looked defeated, broken, dead. She climbed into the cockpit, turning on the main systems. It was at least 15 minutes since her last transmission. She hoped that Princess Celestia got it. There was no time to waste. Her entire team was wiped out by one big Crystal army group. Or, thats what she thought. She couldn't find any of her friends nor teammates. She had lost all hope.
The cockpit door shut, all the monitors turning on. She grabbed the pushed the handles with her hooves. The mech started to stand, the sand falling off of it. The main camera turned on, making it easier to see. It stood up. She looked around. Just a vast desert with a forest back to the South. She started to head there.
The only reason her and her friends split up was because of the Crystal Army team that shot down their flying transport carrier, causing them to have to jump. They all got separated.

The mach made a motoring noise as it walked, creaking. It had been under the sand for a few days. She hid it from sight so that the Crystal army wouldn't find her. The mech entered the forest, causing trees to fall around it. The sight of sunlight shimmering through the trees' leaves made her smile. She stopped her mech, enjoying the sight for one brief moment. Wait. What was that? The sound of a tree falling in a distance made Twilight freeze. The mech crouched down near a gigantic tree. Twilight pulled the binocular like scope near her face. Her hoof hovered over the trigger. The mech's gun-planted arm rose. Another tree fell down. She heard that one. She pointed the gun-mounted arm towards that direction.

A shot went straight past her mech and hit a nearby tree. The mech jumped up, using thrusters to propel itself left. Twilight spotted the mech in an area full of trees. She pulled the trigger. The gun started to fire, hitting trees close to the other mech. It started to run sideways, still aiming at her. She followed it. The gun stopped firing. She removed the scope from her face and checked the status of the mech. The gun had jammed. She started to run forward. The other robot had started to charge her, pointing it's gun straight at her mech. Her mech pulled out a heat ax, warming it up and swinging at the enemy. It struck the right shoulder, making it stumble backwards. She pulled it back out, swinging for the torso. It hit the stomach of it, causing hydraulic fluids to pour out. The enemy mech struggled to compensate what was going on. It started to stepped backwards. Twilight took the barrel of the gun and shoved it straight into the cockpit. The mech stiffened, then went boneless. She pulled out the gun, the enemy falling on the ground.

She had killed one, but how many were really out there?
