New Legends and Old Myths

"What a surprise, I never expected to see you here madam Flurry Heart." The bound group turned to look at the stranger who said that and were just as surprised as the stallion who captured them.

"Chancellor Sombra, What is the meaning of this?" Flurry Heart asked with an obvious anger in her voice as her hands tried to grab the knot holding the bindings in place.

For a few minutes Sombra just stood there laughing at them, it was then they realized that the all those with horns had dampening rings on them.

"My dear Flurry Heart, do you really not remember your parents? or do you remember the Alicorn that first introduced you to Sweetie Belle at all Button Mash? or do you remember the earth pony who along with Scootaloo and Apple Bloom taught you how to be a friend Silver Spoon?" Sombra asked with a malicious grin.

"You know full well that I was raised in an orphanage because my parents cared nothing of me." Flurry Heart said with an obvious and rising anger.

"Well then perhaps I should allow you to see what I have seen." Sombra said while using his magic to unbind his captives and remove the dampening rings.

"This necklace here, who can tell me what it represents." Sombra asked while showing them a necklace with a rainbow thunderbolt insignia.

Scootaloo saw it and her eyes twinkled ever so slightly, but just enough that Sombra noticed it.

"The Element of Loyalty." Scootaloo said with wonder.

"Correct now put it on and tell me what you see and feel." Sombra commanded as Scootaloo put it on with haste.

That was when Scootaloo become fully aware of things around her, then she fell, and began to see something that truly could not have been.

"This is great now we can finally save you and the others from Sombra and Chrysalis, you gotta listen to me kiddo, if you let them get the rest of the elements then we are doomed he has two other elements the element of honesty belongs to Apple Bloom and the element of generosity belongs to Sweetie Bell got it." All Scootaloo did was nod and say hello to her and even knew the Pegasus' name.

"Thank you Rainbow Dash." She said quietly.

"She's coming to, should I attempt to remove the necklace Chancellor?" Came a voice who Sweetie Bell recognized as Chrysalis.

"No!" Was all that came in a reply.

She then found that she had just now been teleported back into the facility with the others.

"Now then what did you see Scootaloo?" Sombra asked, clearly aware that Scootaloo did have that vision.

"I saw Old Equestria, Cloudsdale to be precise, and I saw my sister, but what I don't get is why I forget her in the first place." Scootaloo said as Sombra just smiled and looked at Apple Bloom.

"Now which of you can tell me what this one is?" Sombra said, already knowing the answer.

"The Element of Honesty." Apple Bloom said while looking just as awestruck as Scootaloo did.

Following the same instructions Apple Bloom put on the necklace and passed out.

"Oh dear, what am ah gonna do with you Bloom, ya never could stay away from adventure, alright listen closely..." An orange earth pony bearing the apple family trademark on her flank instructed.

Apple Bloom looked at her with an attentive expression.

"...Right then, assumin' that Scoots has loyalty around her neck then dash is safe but what about sweetie bell, does she have generosity?" The pony asked in a panic.

"Not yet, look Ah'm still tryin', ta sort out my memories, cause new ones just keep appearing from nowhere." Apple Bloom said in a distressed voice.

"Not new, old and suppressed thanks to me and the other ruling Alicorns, I don't have long but I am giving you the location of the element of magic, kindness and laughter. Give magic to Flurry Heart, and give kindness to Silver Spoon and laughter to Button Mash. What ever you do don't give them to Sombra or Chrysalis." Came the voice of a purple Alicorn who appeared and disappeared from the mist.

"Who was that?" Was all Apple Bloom could say.

"That was Twilight Sparkle, look ya gots ta get the other elements then escape Sombra." Apple Bloom nodded and looked on with renewed hope.

"Thanks Applejack." Was the last thing she said.

Apple Bloom woke up in a hospital bed seeing Chrysalis and Sombra and the she was teleported to the facility and told to stand with the others.

"What did you see?" Sombra asked her.

"Ah saw mah sister and ah saw Sweet Apple Acres." Was all that Apple Bloom was willing to reveal.

"Very well then, I have one more to show you." Sombra said as he pulled out the last necklace he had

"That is the Element of Generosity." Came the swift and decisive voice of Sweetie Bell who approached and donned the necklace expecting the same thing that happened to the others to happen to her and sure enough it did.

Sweetie Bell found herself face to face with a mare after her own heart, in fact she had a worried expression.

"Sweetie Bell you need to be careful around that brute Sombra as well as Chrysalis." The mare said carefully as if being watched by somepony or something.

"Just know that I will be watching you from now on darling." Was the last she said.

"Thanks Rarity." Sweetie Bell whispered.

All went white, Sweetie Bell woke up in the same hospital bed as the others, shortly after, she was teleported back to the complex where she and the others were being held.

"Now tell me what you saw please Sweetie Bell." Sombra asked nicely for the first time since the group had been captured and forced to take part in all of this.

"I saw my sister, but that was all I saw." She said trying to mask the hint of defiance in her voice.

All though it wasn't obvious, Sombra knew what they saw and Flurry Heart sensed this and decided to approach him.

"Well, this has been an entertaining time, but I would like to know how you came across these artifacts and how you knew what these three saw?" Flurry Heart asked threateningly.

"That is none of your concern, Governess, but I will not be letting any of you go at all." Sombra said, grinning maliciously at the groups protests.

However just before Sombra was able to do anything to them, the entire group was teleported directly to the Crystal Satellite, only to com face to face with Councilor Sunset Shimmer.

Meanwhile, Sombra was furious about the fact that his captives had escaped. He was using a detection spell to find them, but to no avail and it annoyed him because they had the Elements of Harmony.

A few hours had passed since the group met Sunset Shimmer, and in that time, Sunset had taken Flurry Heart and the others to her house.

"Thank you for this councilor, Sombra has gone too far in his quest for power. He has, however found us the means with which we can stop him, but if we were to fail then he will destroy us." After Flurry Heart finished explaining what was going on, Sunsets look changed from worried to joyfully curious.

"So does that mean that this is what Sombra's men are after?" Sunset asked as Apple Bloom looked up and walked over to the two mares.

"That tiara is the Element of Magic, that one there is the one that Flurry Heart has to wear." Apple Bloom said hoping that she wouldn't be dismissed.

"I already know that..." Everypony stopped and stared at Sunset Shimmer suspiciously.

"...What, you didn't think I was curious." Sunset asked

"Twilight's waiting for you and don't worry about energy bursts, I have shields and guards." Sunset Shimmer said with confidence.

Flurry Heart nodded, put the tiara on and then fell to the floor.

"Flurry Heart, thank goodness, we don't have much time, I've given you the locations of the remaining two elements, you and the others must find them." Flurry Heart simply nodded.

Meanwhile, Sombra detected a faint but familiar energy spike and he knew that another element had been found.
